This 2 bedroom unit is located in a quiet complex in Glenorchy, close to supermarkets, public transport and gyms and only a 15 min drive to the Hobart CBD. The unit has off street parking, built-in wardrobes, standalone shower and bath, tinted windows, 2x heat pumps and a dishwasher. The common areas of the house are fully furnished, but the room is not. The kitchen-living area is quite cosy and it also features a spacious outdoor area equipped with a deck and BBQ for entertaining. The property gets a fair bit of sun throughout the day.

We are a couple looking for a a great place to live. My boyfriend and I met in Canada while he was over on a working holiday visa. Now I'm over here on my working holiday visa. We are looking to explore around Tasmania taking in all the sites while still having a cozy home to come back to while working. We love to cook. We mostly keep to ourselves but also down to hang out with good friends from time to time.
We are William 2nd Year Engineering student and Gabrielle a 1st year Nursing student. We are both very responsible, both work part time, we have been together for 3 years. We are very respectful of each other and understanding of other people not wanting the drama of a couple fighting and carrying on. We enjoy socialsing at times and enjoy an occasional drink but study is our main priority. We are looking for similar singles or couple(s) We are looking to move anytime before the 12th of February.
I'm generally pretty quiet, chilled but enjoy a good chat now and then. I am moving over from Perth, WA to finish my nursing degree in Hobart and to be closer to my family who live out in the sticks.. Love being outdoors and being physically active. Mountain bikes, running, hiking etc. Hence the appeal of Tasmania! Bit of a nerd.
I'm looking to move to Hobart around late March. I spend most of my time working, going to the gym and socialising with friends. I enjoy having a drink or two and going out of a weekend. I have a cat named Ruby, she is fully house trained and super cute! In my down town I'll most likely be in my room bingeing netflix 💁 I'm easy going, neat and tidy. Looking for someone a little like myself. If you think that's you, let's be roomies! 🤗

Hi, I'm Jacob. I'm 23 years old and I'm moving to Hobart from Geelong to study at UTAS. I'm a friendly, tidy and relaxed person who enjoys watching movies, listening to music and chatting over a few quiet drinks. I love animals (especially dogs) and am always happy to respect your personal space. Looking for a 4 month stay minimum but I'm very flexible and would be happy to stay for a year or more if everything works out :)
Hey there we are a family of 3 with a baby on the way and 2 medium outside dogs. We like to keep to ourselves we ar friendly and dont party. My fiance is a chef by trade and im a qualified childcare worker. We are looking for somewhere to stay for a max of 6 months as we are needing to move to Queensland next year.
I'm clean, quiet and can usually pass for an adult :) I've been sharing with the same group for several years. I like to cook and eat decent food, bake cakes and have a good chat. I like to garden and make things too if I get a chance. I'm not a party animal but I can handle a beer or two. I'm cool with animals and I don't smoke. I work primarily in IT and like being outdoors as much as in. I have a car but I prefer to get around by bike.
I'm clean, friendly, reliable, come with excellent references and have a delightful and slightly quirky 17 year old kitty cat. I'm vegetarian, do yoga and meditation, appreciate a quiet home environment as much as a social one, and I'm a nurse - so I can tell you all the cool gross stories - or not...
Property is in a quiet cul-de-sac. Has a lovely outlook overlooking the Derwent River. It is 15mins from Hobart and public transport is a short walk from the house. It comes fully furnished , the house is double storey and the rooms are available on the first floor. Bathroom number 2 is located on this floor which you can have to yourself. The property offers Netflix and Stan and unlimited wi-fi. I like to keep the property tidy and clean so it would be an expectation that you do as well. The Moonah shopping precinct is only a 10min walk away.
We are happy going couple with full time jobs. Most weekend we will be free doing activities like walking and camping around hobart. We are clean and tidy all the times as we have rented properties in our entire student life sharing with other people. Looking forward to meet awesome ppl... Cheers
Hi, I'm a 30 y.o male who loves to cook! I also enjoy the occasional Netflix binge and philosophical conversations! I work full time and volunteer with an emergency service so I don't spend to much time at home! I love animals and would prefer to share with non smokers. I like to go to the gym and dislike mess but am not OTT about it!
Cameron knows how to live with other people. He is respectful of space and keeps up with his share of the household chores. I have come to know Cameron as someone who listens and acts upon other people’s needs. Oh and he is a fantastic gardener! He knows how to cook but leads a busy work and social life which means there won’t be many tines he will get in your way in the kitchen. If he had one flaw it would be that it takes a little to come out of his shell but once he is comfortable you will find good conversation with him. Daniel (Previous Landlord/Housemate) Happy to provide contact details for reference.
I'm very friendly and love people, love a good cook-up and chilling out too! Can talk about almost anything, but leave you alone when you need quiet too ;) I'll be needing plenty of alone time as a fast-track nursing student anyway. I am a disabilty support worker, non-smoker, neat and tidy around the home. I have a gorgeous 6yr old labrador I either can bring with me or leave with my folks if you can't have her, but trust me, you'd be missing out ;)
I will be relocating to Hobart for my masters course at UTAS. I have also just found part time work at a school while studying my master of science. I enjoy bush walking, bike riding, film photography (i develop my own black and white photographs) reading and cooking. I also enjoy mycology (fungi) and enjoy foraging and the identification of different specimens. Prior to my masters, i lived and worked in Sydney as a Senior Scientific Laboratory Technician in a private school. I'm an independent person, clean and reliable who enjoys alone time who is also up for a chat and potentially cooking and sharing a meal together. I also may or may not have a cat (Female, litter trained, desexed, 10 years old), who may be coming with me.
I'm a new full-time student at UTAS in 2018.My lease will expired on 9th Feb,now I'm looking for a room or someone who wanna team up, I'm down to the earth ,easy going, social, friendly, but also tidy, respectful .Really keen outdoor activities ,let me know if u are interested or have a space to rent:)))

Hello! My name is Rahul, I'm a 23 year old Urban Planning student currently studying at UTAS. I'm a quiet and tidy person that keeps to myself most of the time, though I'm happy to have some fun when appropriate. Please send a message my way if you think I may be suitable to join your home!
Due to my current rental ending I am in search of another. I'm a pretty laid back person, a majority of my spare time is either spent studying or gaming. I am usually out most weekends and am a full time student. I enjoy baking when I can and am not messy at all. I would prefer something within walking distance to North Hobart, if that was the case my rent pw could be $160-170. If not then my rent pw would need to be $150. I enjoy my own space and would prefer people who do as well.
Looking for another couple or two singles to share a place with. Andrew is a super social extrovert, loves going out, bushwalking and meeting new people. Works casually, studies full time. I'm (Hannah) an introvert. I like quiet environments, curling up in the couch for a night in but still really enjoy being around people. Works full time. We have a fluffy ginger cat named Stewie. He's never had a problem with other animals, toilet trained, and rarely misbehaves.
Hey there! I'm a 21 y/o cook looking for a new place to call home. I come with a very loving maltease shitzu named Gus who even happens to love cats, and obviously loves all the attention. If I'm not working I'll most likely be catching up on lost sleep, out with friends enjoying a beer, or getting a bit creative in the kitchen. Looking for a nice quiet and tidy house hold with respectful housemates. Happy to hang out and have a meal and drink together but also appreciate and enjoy my space and alone time. Looking for a place anytime from now till end of February. Happy to look at anything so hit me up if you may have anything for me! :)

I'm relocating to Hobart from Melbourne in mid Jan 2018, I recently graduated and will be working full time. I'm a proactive person and I'm happy to share the load when it comes to general tasks like cleaning, dishes, washing. I like watching and playing sports. If Im home you will often find me streaming the NBA or playing something on my PC. I consider myself a relaxed, easygoing person and I'm happy to fit into a house that already has an established culture with existing housemates or happy to be part of a team up with others looking to settle in Hobart.
Hi there. So I am moving to Hobart for a new job and a new life. I will be working for the State Government and am on the search for another professional that would like a nice place to share that gives us enough room to be comfortable but still feel like a home. A little about myself - 30 years old - Professional and budget savvy but happy to pay for confortability - happy to sit and watch tv or go for a walk or explore the surrounds or after work drinks or trivia night or hang out in my own room - Doggo will be coming to live with me once I have a house ready for him A little bit about doggo - Borris by name BoBo by nickname - 7 years old - Australian bulldog - lazy by nature - little rolly but is told he's beautiful - doesn't bark (sometimes at butterflys) - doesn't dig - brought up with 3 little dogs and 3 cats so he has respect and love for both If any of this sounds like something you would like to live with let me know and we can have a chat about it. 😊

Not sure why people keep missing this: it's a VEGAN home; because animal cruelty is wrong, and if you still eat meat, eggs or dairy you're paying people to hurt animals, which is animal cruelty, which, as we already agree, is wrong. Don't bother me if you still think hurting animals is ok because your taste-buds and social programming say it's ok, because it's not. It's just not ok. Anyhoo, this is a great, fully renovated small home close to both the Main Road and Augusta Road for buses, cafes, shops, supermarkets, chemists et al. It's close to everything essential, superb inside and the garden is very low maintenance. Warm, double glazed, insulated, heat pump, kind, friendly vibe. It is small so will suit one additional vegan housemate. Simple furnishings although they're not in the photos. All the basics are here, but your room is unfurnished. You'd be sharing with only one other person. It's a plant-based food home, so if you're vegan or nearly there it'll be a great fit, or if you're ready to commit to plant-based food that's a good start. If you're "vegetarian" but "still eat eggs, dairy, and some meat" just forget it. See above. I prefer to keep shared areas tidy. No-smoking home. You'd need to pass real estate approval and be added to the lease. The full rent is $450/week, so you'd be paying half that, i.e. $225/week, and half the bills. We could negotiate down a bit if you were interested in doing the house work and low maintenance gardening every week. The property is described as "Beautifully Renovated Character Home, Great Location. This lovely character home in popular New Town has undergone a full renovation, with quality fittings and fixtures throughout. Situated in a great location with mountain views, walking distance to schools, shops, transport, parks and an easy commute to the CBD. From the moment you enter you will appreciate the attention to detail and quality workmanship that has gone into making this such a desirable home. Accommodation comprises of two good sized bedrooms, both have built-ins. Open plan living with efficient Daikin heat pump, kitchen is a chef's delight with under bench oven, ceramic hotplates, dishwasher, plenty of cupboards and even has a USB charging port! Spacious bathroom features a luxurious deep bath, separate shower, toilet and vanity, laundry facilities can also be found here. Storage and linen cupboards are situated in an area that could be utilised as a study nook or utility room, sliding glass doors lead out to the very easy to maintain garden. Added features of this fantastic home are a remote controlled electric gate, off street parking, double glazed windows throughout, lots of power points, TV outlets."
I'm looking for a room or people who would like to search for a rental together. I am a full time PhD student, and I work a casual job on weekends. I'm an active runner, bushwalker, and climber. I keep mostly to myself, but I don't mind a social house either. Ideally I'm looking for a place that is within a reasonable commute to Sandy Bay, either side of the river. Looking to pay no more than $160 per week, or $180 if bills are included.
