Available 10 October. Prefer over 30's, and prefer working full time. Time frame negotiable, have preferred short term stays but with the right person, would be willing to go for longer. This townhouse is one of four in a quiet street in Glenroy. Close to airport and 13 minutes walk from Glenroy Station, it is a 25-minute train ride into the city. The neighbors are great and we look out for each other. The house is a quiet house, with two cats. The cats get put into the garage at night (for uninterrupted sleep) but roam during the day inside and out. They love to sleep on the couch or the bed, so a cat lover preferred. No dogs sorry, the cats get traumatised. Unlimited internet, laundry facilities, and fully furnished, would suit travellers or short term people looking for a place. The rent is $250 a week and this includes all bills. The lounge, kitchen, and laundry are the shared spaces downstairs. And your room has an ensuite, on the bottom floor near the front door.
Hi! I’m currently a student seeking house share. I’m flexible when it come to lifestyle and am very friendly and outgoing. I’m very extroverted and enjoy social outings with friends and occasional visits to family. Can’t wait to get to know you more and hopefully be not just housemates but friends also :)
A little a bit about my self - female aged 23 respectful of LGBTQR and vegan community. I'm fairly fresh to Melbourne moved from Queensland in November last year. I'm a psychology student with one subject left and thinking about studying a new degree. Looking for either a empty room (preferably with own ensuite but can also share a bathroom. I'm big on keeping everything clean. I'd like to think of myself as a transparent person when it comes to living with other people so I'm looking with someone with a similar outlook. Looking for an empty room or roommates and I am currently looking at properties from Coburg, Brunswick, Altona and Airport West area's. Looking for a property as soon as possible!!!
Ducted air conditioning, heating & fireplace. Rooms get natural light. Spacious living area & kitchen. 6 minute walk from Glenroy station. Buses that go to Coburg, Broadmeadows and many more. Uber Eats delivers. Nearby shops, gyms, fast food, Coles, Post office, dry cleaners, cobblers and many more amenities. We have a functioning dishwasher. We maintain a tidy home and expect the same from all flatmates. No dirty dishes in the sink or any other shared space and clean up after yourself everywhere in the home including the toilet. Everyone does their fair share. no smoking indoors. .ocated 450 metres away from Glenroy station which is roughly a half hour transit to the city. Also during peak hour you are pretty likely to find a spot to sit when travelling to the city. The house has a large balcony upstairs and a court yard. I like to garden and have few vegetables and herbs growing in garden beds in the front yard
Hi, I'm Lisa and I'm 21 years old. I'm about to complete my bachelor's degree in Business majoring in International Hospitality Management and Human Resource Management at Victoria University. I work casually at a hotel in the CBD, mainly working 'graveyard' shifts. I plan on pursuing a career in the hotel industry, one day hoping to be within management. I'm originally from the country and grew up on a farm. I've lived in Melbourne for the past three years, first in Footscray and currently in Coburg. I'm an animal lover, I love to cook, read, explore my surroundings, and catch up with friends. I'm a quiet homebody, who is shy at first but once you get to know me, I'm a real chatterbox. I'm not really a club person, I much prefer bars, or even just catching up with friends in general. I have recently taken up going to the gym with some friends as well. I'm straight and a non-smoker. I don't really care what your preferences are in these areas. I have a car in Melbourne so will be looking for a house with a parking spot. I also hope to find somewhere close to public transport, within 30 minutes distance of the CBD. I'd love to team up with someone ideally, rather than move into an existing lease. However, I'm open to options at this point. My ideal housemate(s): · Looking to rent for at least a year and go on the lease. · Willing to contribute towards furniture. · Clean in our shared spaces. · Working/able to keep up to date with bills. · Happy to have a puppy dog around. · Isn't going to be throwing house party’s all the time. · Someone who is looking to make a new friend 🙂. Food/meals - I mainly organise myself in terms of meals and food. I am however not opposed to shared meals/outings if you like. I eat meat and have no other dietary requirements. Whilst I respect all eating preferences, I would like to live in a household where we can accept one another. Eg. You don't mind that I eat meat and I don't care what you consume (so long as it isn't my food aha). I don't really have any furniture in Melbourne with me, all the places I've lived in so far have come furnished when I moved in. I will most probably be bringing along my own bed/mattress, desk, bookshelves, dresser and tv, but that's about it. In saying that, I am of course more than willing to contribute to the purchase of furniture. I'm not fussy and am happy with second hand, but well-maintained items. If you have any communal furniture to bring along with you, that would be great! Ollie is my 1-year-old Jack Russell Terrier x Fox Terrier puppy. He is toilet and house trained, fully vaccinated, desexed and crate trained. He can shed a little bit, but that is easily kept on top of with regular grooming and vacuuming of the house. He is a playful and sometimes mischievous puppy, but he also loves to curl up on the couch next to you and sleep all day. Ollie has a 'dicky' leg, which means he limps and can't fully extend one of them. This doesn't affect him in any way and he will often get the 'zoomies' to prove it. He has a great temperament with other dogs as well as cats, along with most people in general. He has been around many animals on my parent's farm, as well as socialising at the dog park and dog beach.
You will be sharing with only one person, bus stop is less than five minutes walk takes you to glenroy or gowrie station. Train station is around 15min walk to jacana and 20 Min to glenroy station. Room can be fully furnished with bed, big built robes with mirror doors, small table and chair if needed. Bathroom is spacious pargola and big backyard. Pizza place, milk bar, clinic, barber and pharmacy less than five minutes walk.
