Hi guys, i'm Marlee. I'll be looking to move to Adelaide in the next couple of months to go to University. I like to think that I'm a very laid back kind of person. I won't spend a lot of time at home as I will be busy with University and trying to work in between classes and (hopefully) be a part of a sports team. I love watching sport, in particular, softball, baseball, football and cricket. But I when I do spend a day at home I like to tend to my house duties such as cleaning and maintaining, and also enjoy a couple of hours on the couch watching Netflix. I do have a dog, but she won't be coming with me at this stage. She's a border collie, 5 years old and she's my best friend, she gets a long well with other dogs and is very active. I'm not looking to house with people that are interested in party drugs or large consumptions of alcohol on a daily basis, i enjoy a couple of drinks on the weekend or after work with dinner, but I'll usually be the "sober sally"... but that's not to say that I can't have a good time when I DO have a few extra more then a couple. I believe i'm a fun person regardless, with or without the need of alcohol. I am a tidy person, I clean up after myself, so I am looking for someone/people that are also tidy, nothing frustrates me more then having to clean up after other people.
Hello! I am in the process of building a new house and am looking for a room to rent between my lease on my current rental running out (in May) and my new house being finished, around November/December. I work full time in the city, so I am out of the house all the time! I do have a cat who would be coming with me, she is happy both inside and out. I am friendly, and easy going and have been living out of home for 3 years now :) The locations I'm looking in are also quite flexible.
Hey, I'm 25 and am looking to move around late Dec beginning of Jan. I have a small dog who is very low maintenance and well behaved. Loves a good cuddle and will warm to anyone. I work full time (8.30-5) for an insurance company. Love socialising but also love some down time :) Preferably would like a place in the eastern suburbs, but I am willing to move else where.
Current full-time university student, working part time in the city. I am pretty laid back and enjoy relaxing at home or going out for good food. I am studying a Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics and will graduate mid year 2022. So I would prefer to have a long term lease where i can finish my studies and decide where to go and what to do from there. I have lived away from home for about 8 months, on my own, before i started my studies, that said this is my first time that i will be sharing accommodation with anyone outside family. I work in hospitality, at a 5 star hotel, mostly in the evenings on the weekend, home by latest 00:00. I do get the occasional week where I'll be on mornings where I'll be up early, about 05:30ish but i am very considerate of this an can try my best to be a ninja when I leave or arrive home. I've always been a very tidy person and grew up in a household were you earn your keep by contributing to house work, so I am no stranger to chores in and around the house. Prefer organisation to chaos, so I am more than happy to work to any cooking and/or cleaning roster/schedule. I personally don't have any pets, but i have grown up with a family dog and fish tank, that said I do love both dogs and cats, and am more than happy to live with any sort of pets and help look after them. I have my own car and thoroughly maintain it, so either parking on the property or off street parking would be greatly advantageous and preferred. I have traveled/immigrated a bit through my teens, thanks to my fathers career, and am no stranger to meeting new people. I was born in South Africa, lived in New Zealand and finally settled here in Australia with my mother and brother. I speak fluent English, although i still do have a slight South African accent remaining, but that shouldn't hinder communication in anyway. I usually get along very well with everyone i meet and am quite friendly and polite, in general I am a quiet person and highly respect and appreciate my own as well as others privacy and space. However, i am more than happy to sit around a dinner table or lounge room engaging in good conversation, watching TV or eating food. I spend most of my time studying, playing video games, watching Netflix or Youtube and working out at a gym or playing sport when in season. Not sure what else i can say about myself besides that i look forward to meeting and getting to know my new house mates and hopefully lifetime friends :)
The house was built in 2014. Each room is spacious. There is one master room, which has WIR and Ensuite, the rest three are decent size rooms but need to share a bathroom with others. Unlimited internet (NBN 100). Well furnished house including dishwasher, a fridge, microwave, wash machine and big cooking unit. each room has a wardrobe, chair, desk, bed with mattress. Each room is lockable with a unique key. The front entrance door has a deadlock. Large laundry. r/c air conditioning
On the hunt for a nice room in a lovely lil abode with some friendly folks! I’m 23 and working in both Mitcham and the city, love staying busy but love my downtime too and a big wine/gin gal. Very tidy lady who understands the importance of chipping in within a shared house! I also have a gorgeous tortoise shell tabby cat named Cosmo, he’s six months old, a big people person and spends most of his days lounging in the sun or snoozing on my bed.
Hi, I'm looking to find a room, not too fussed about the house. I am pretty social but also don't mind my own space. Work quite a lot during the week. Have previously lived alone and also with room mates.
Hi. I am a student, will be studying at Flinders University as of next year. I am friendly, easy going, quiet, considerate and tidy. I was born in the Philippines. I came to Australia in 1983 with my family (mum and three brothers). Occasionally I go out with friends for coffees, movies, concerts and eating out but I stay at home most of the time. (Prefer unfurnished room)
Nick and I are an easy going and chilled couple. We love our sport (volleyball, cricket, AFL, etc) and we love to socialise. Nick has 6 months left of his media degree and I was a lawyer, until I decided to have a career change into nursing of which I will commence studying in 2019 a flinders uni! We're pretty relaxed people who like a tidy space and friendly people :)
Hi! I'm a 19 year old girl from Norway moving to Adelaide to study at the University of Adelaide. I lived in Adelaide during my exchange two years ago, so I'm well used to the city. I'm an easygoing girl who's always looking to learn something new, meet new people and make great memories. I love going to gigs and hanging out with my friends, but am also a huge fan of quiet nights in watching netflix or listening to music. I play flute and guitar, so any future roommate should be comfortable with some repetitive rehearsing every now and then. Other than that I am pretty okay to live with, I know how to keep to myself and try to keep a clean and organised space. I am looking for someone who I can potentially become friends with, that I can talk to when I feel like it and whom I can have dinner with and watch movies with. But I have no problem keeping to myself if you'd prefer that.
Hey! I'm super friendly, easy going, like to keep tidy, and try to be as considerate as I can. I work heaps so honestly I'm hardly around, and always prioritise paying my bills on time. Locked into my contract until Feb 4th, which I know is a while away, but keep me in mind, I think I'd make a pretty chill house mate 😊 Feel free to text me on 0403781328, I prefer not to answer unknown no. phone calls. Thanks!
Hi, I am a single male student majoring in social work. I am an approachable man who likes jogging, swimming and music. I am looking for nice people to live with. I can cook good Chinese food which I would like to share with you. You will be happy to live with me if you have some interests in China and its cultures.
I am a Scottish recent graduate of University here to try and maybe start a new life for myself, and also travel around a little. I’m looking for a nice little home hub I can call my own. I’ve been living in shared flats since I was 18 and been loving it. I’ve made some great friends through out the years and enjoyed meeting a broad range of very different people from lots of different backgrounds and beliefs and cultures. I love learning new things and coming to understand more about people and their stories. I’m very tidy and tend to clean as I go. I’m very sociable, but also understand and respect everyone’s spaces and alone times. I enjoy a wide verity of activities and events and would always be up for trying or learning something new with my flat mates, or even having a nice day in playing video games watching movies and just chilling. I am polite, understanding and a real easy breeze to live with. Hoping to hear from you soon Robert
Hey I’m Tahnee, I’m studying journalism and working part time. I keep myself busy, love getting outdoors and to the beach and staying active. I’m respectful, tidy and easy to get along with. Looking for easy going housemates who want to hang out but also respect personal space :)
I'm a chef who loves to cook and entertain people. I'd love to share a house with a friendly bunch. My ideal share-house would have housemates from different walks of life, bringing different experiences and stories to the table. I have been living in share houses for a few years and know to respect others space. Having said that, I do love to hangout with the housemates and share a meal or a few drinks every now and then. I'm a bit of a neat freak and slightly OCD, which as I've learned is a good thing when living in a shared space. I like having things neat and tidy and in their places. Hit me up if you think I'll be a good fit to your house. :)
I am a father of 4, so housekeeping constantly comes natural to me. I dont smoke and I barely drink. I work as an arborist in the tree industry. I love my job and I love my children. Any spare time is spent with the kids or training muay thai. I live a fairly healthy lifestyle but I love to have fun as well. I currently cohabit with the kids mum, we are good friends but we feel now we need to have our own independence. I will still stay with my kids 2 nights a week and every second weekend I will be with them full time. I love animals and nature, play guitar and enjoy cooking. I used to surf but don't have time lately, want to get out and hike but again it's a time thing. I'm looking for genuine people, as much as I like my own space, I feel it's important to have good connections and communication with housemates. I'd love to also meet new people and friends.
I am 27 yrs old Phd Student and I work full-time. I am interested in movies, fitness and watching sports and cooking. I am usually kept quite busy with these two things but when I’m not working I usually like to watch a bit of Netflix, have a glass of wine or go for a walk. I am a young aussie from Sydney but i've been living here for a year now. I work in Parkside as a structural designer. I like to draw, travel and I go back to Sydney and the Gold Coast most months. I am super easy going, I've lived in shared houses since I was 16 so I understand the etiquette and mutual respect of sharing a house. I'm a pretty good cook too and am pretty happy to make you a meal or two when you like the smell of what I'm making!
Heyya! I am looking for a house to share sometime soon. Would love to live in an environmentally friendly place with like-minded people. Like to spend my time doing yoga, reading, dancing around, meditating and studying at art school, also go to work sometimes at a lovely eco cafe in the city. Don't drink or smoke and go to bed around 11pm. Would love to have a garden with a veggie patch. Please let me know if that sounds like your kind of person and we can catch up for a tea :)
