I am a quiet and considerate 42-yo male looking for a place to rent, and likely someone to rent that place with. I'm fairly new to the site so please forgive any mistakes I make. My ideal would be to share a house with one other person, possibly two. It could be a new place that we find together, or an existing place that I can move into. Perhaps you've just lost a housemate and need someone to fill the space. Perhaps you're moving out and need someone to split the bills with. Perhaps you own a place, have some space, but need some help with the bills. All sound good to me. I've been at my current rental for almost eight years, sharing with one person, who I've shared previous places with as well. I was caught out recently by notice that my rental agreement is ending, so I'm scrambling to sort out a new place to live by early February. My current housemate has other plans, so it's just me this time. I would have difficulty renting a place on my own place right now (too expensive), but would like more space than most single room rentals can provide. I work in IT, generally software engineering. I am clean and fairly tidy, although my desk can get a bit disorganised at times, and I might only make my bed properly if we have guests. ;) I am very quiet and considerate, and am only really comfortable living with people who are reasonably quiet as well. No noisy or party houses, it just won't work. I keep to myself most of the time, but do like to be sociable on occasion. When I am, I'll sit down with you and play card games, board games, or computer games, or perhaps watch a show we enjoy. Or just chat. Or head out somewhere. I am friendly and generally get on well with most people. I get along with a surprisingly wide range of age groups, so if you're fine with me, don't let an age difference be a barrier. Gender, race, and sexuality are no issue either. I am a gentle and non-threatening person and not imposing in any way. Hopefully you are similar. You should be friendly or kind, preferably both. :) I am looking for a place ideally in the north-eastern suburbs (eg. Modbury, Ingle Farm, Golden Grove), preferably within walking distance of a bus that ends up on the O-Bahn. Whilst I have a car (old, but maintained), I find access to public transport convenient. I'd prefer to avoid expensive suburbs or places too close to the city, due to cost. However, I'm flexible. I don't want to go too far south as most work in my field is either in the city or in the northern suburbs. Although there are certainly some lovely suburbs out that way. :) I do not smoke. I'm fine if you do, as long as you're fine smoking outside. I don't really drink but I don't have an issue with it, as long as it's not unreasonable, and you don't mind me drinking water while you drink your beverage. Neither of us should have substance abuse problems, be aggressive, or violent or anything like that. I need enough space for a queen-sized bed, bedside, large desk, chair, and various accompaniments, but I'd be far happier with more space, hence wanting to split a house. I might be open to a place that can *just* squeeze this in, but only for the short-term as I'd want to move to a bigger place eventually. Space for furniture in common areas is a plus. I have a lot of furniture, appliances, and so forth, but much of it is older. If you have your own, it is probably better than mine. We can juggle furniture to match what you have and the house we live in. I'll store what I don't use before I move in. I have no pets. I am extremely allergic to cats and anything with feathers, so if you have any pets like that, then sadly it won't work. I would prefer someone without pets, as it makes finding a rental far easier. I can be flexible if you own or already rent a place and have a friendly dog (or similar) that you can promise won't eat me or my belongings. Whilst I love animals (especially dogs), my preference is to visit rather than live with them. Pet rocks are fine, as long as they are house-trained. ;) At home I will mostly be wherever my desk is, usually working away on something on my computer (usually software development) or with electronics. I'm almost always working on something. My budget is roughly $200pw, but this can be compatible with a lower or higher budget of yours as well. I can certainly reduce this figure, down to $150pw or so. If you want to pay more than me, we get a bigger place and you get the best rooms. If you want to pay less, then we do the reverse. We'll figure something out. I have rented for roughly twenty years. I have lived in a number of places, either by myself or sharing with one other person. Never missed a payment, never lost a cent of bond. I'm fairly comfortable being around one other person and also very familiar with what it takes to keep a household running. I prefer to live with people who are also comfortable running a home, understand what is involved, and are happy to share the workload. I prefer to split chores evenly by default and then swap them around to make everyone happy. I am an acceptable cook, and prefer to make my own meals rather than eating out or ordering in most of the time. My food might not be very fancy, but it will be enjoyable. My ideal is to live with someone who prefers home cooking, so that we can take turns making dinner. If you enjoy cooking, I'll do more of the less glamorous chores if you want to cook more often. I like eating dinner together, but I'm fine either way. I am fairly open and honest. I'll tell you the good and bad about myself. There is a good amount of the former, and not too much of the latter. I'd like to know about you too, so we can make sure we are compatible as housemates. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. I'm on a fairly low income at present so have to be frugal in the short term. However, I've had a long career with a lot of experience and have a First-Class Honours degree in my field, so hopefully that won't be a problem for much longer. In any case I'd prefer to share even once I've sorted that out, as I like the company and sharing lets you live comfortably in a nicer place whilst also saving some money. This is my first time renting with someone I haven't personally known already- every other time has been on my own or with a friend. To be honest I'm a little nervous about it, but I'm sure it'll turn out okay. Making a new friend out of the whole thing would also make me really happy. If we get along fine I'd potentially be interested in sticking around for quite some time, potentially even moving house together with you if we want to upgrade or downgrade. If it doesn't work out, I'll help out where I can to make sure we all end up somewhere where we'll be happy. If I sound like someone you'd like to live with, drop me a line. Don't worry if we're not a 100% match, there's a lot of information here, and I'm not searching for my clone. ;) I get on well with all sorts of people. I've just upgraded my account so you should be able to message me for free now. If I'm someone you'd be happy to live with, I don't want you to have to pay or wait until you can message me. If I can find a good person or people to live with it'll be worth the cost. Initially I'd like to swap some messages to figure out if we're compatible as housemates, and then potentially catch up for a coffee or similar. It is important to me that I find good people that I'm happy to live with and that are happy to live with me. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Better to ask than wonder. I hope to hear from you soon. :)
I consider myself to be fun and outgoing. Will enjoy a night out every now and then but would prefer to stay home drink wine and watch Netflix I work Part time currently at Anytime Fitness across multiple northern clubs
This house is situated in a lovely quiet street. It is close to local shops, which include buses as well as having on street parking readily available. A beautiful dog lives with me and you will have access to your own bathroom and toilet. Internet is included and bills are split evenly- water and electricity. There is the possibility of having separate living areas if needed or happy to share a living area. I do not have many guests to my house, so privacy is not an issue :) BBQ is supplied if you wish to cook using this.
Hey folks, a mate and I are looking at starting a new share house early next year and looking for an easy going guy or gal to team up with. Looking at renting in the North East area; Morbury, Mawson Lakes, as far as maybe Norwood area. Looking at a budget of roughly $400-450 a week split 3 ways. Music enthusiast would be great as we are both actively involved in making music, but by no means essential. We are both easy going and respectful and ideally would to be friendly with someone before moving in. If anybody is interested or know's anyone who may be keen, shoot me a PM to discuss!
I am currently looking for a room to rent in the Golden Grove area, as it is a location central to both of my campus, Magill and Mawson Lakes. I am an easy going girl, keep to myself, however easy to get along with and always up for a laugh. I do like to go out with friends, however I also do enjoy a nice quiet night in.
Hi, I am looking for share house or someone who may be interested in renting a 'new' 2 - 4 bed place with me. I like relaxing in a clean and tidy place, with mature easy going people, male or female. Any quiet area of Adelaide and reasonably close to shops and public transport . I have some furniture in storage. A built in wardrobe in the bedroom would be good. I am friendly, clean, respectful of others and like to live a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately I can't live with cats or other animals inside the house and prefer no carpet though its ok in bedrooms. I rarely watch tv as have other things to occupy me. I'm quiet but also enjoy socialising. I'm a bookkeeper and studying.
Reliable, clean, father of one that lives with mother so I'm not in to partying but focus on working, going to gym, playing sport and spending time with my son
My names Marcus, I'm 20, transgender and gay. I'm originally from Canberra and only just moved to Adelaide. I'm usually really quiet and tend to keep to myself, but I'm always up for a good chat and a laugh. I draw a lot and I do photography, and sometimes I design tattoos and do some photo-shoots for some extra cash for when I need it . I'm currently unemployed, but I'm studying for a diploma in Community Services and hope to be a youth worker in a few years down the track. I love animals, cooking and listening to music.

Hey, looking for a fully furnished room for a short term stay as I relocate back to Adelaide. I am professionally employed and work close to the area. I like to get to the gym at night so generally not home for a lot of the time. I am neat, clean and tidy and respect peoples homes like I would mine. Please contact me if you are interested in a person staying for a short term period while I locate a rental or buy my own house. Nat
I'm tidy, quiet and keep to myself. I don't hold parties or have any pets and I don't listen to loud music and television. I am friendly and sociable and easy to get along with.
Hello I’m jesse 39 working guy Very self sufficient, non intrusive, simple living Working full time tradie Will live with one other not a house full Prefer furnished Clean Handy easy going and fun $150
Easy going, respect peoples privacy, don't smoke or take drugs. Girlfriend lives interstate , so travel often. Have quality references. Looking to share with kind/quality like minded person.
Me and my friend, both are students and both from India. We love make new friends and want to explore new things in life. We want to learn new things in each and every step of life. We are doing gossiping, playing games, and doing hangouts for fun.
I'm a country girl who has recently turned 18 and moved to the city to work as a dental assistant in Modbury and to study at Adelaide Uni. While I have never rented before, I am a respectful and sensible person to share a home with, while still being fun and outgoing socially. Ideally I would like to share a house with people similarly aged to myself, and I don't mind living co-ed. I'm currently on an unlimited internet contract and would love to bring and share that internet in the new house. I'm looking at moving out of my current accommodation in the new year after my job settles down and I am able to predict how much I'll be earning. While I love being proud of my home, I don't want to be spending more than $170 per week on rent and bills, and would therefore prefer to share with multiple people to keep costs to a minimum. Please message or text me if you're interested in finding a place to share with me! I would love to catch up for a chat or for coffee to meet you!
Great property renovated 3 years ago. Located in a quiet no thru road. Close to Main North Road and bus stop 45 is a short 2 minute walk away to head right into the City. Choice of 2 rooms and can accomodate if you have furniture or not. Great outdoor entertaining area with BBQ outdoor couch TV etc so happy to have friends around for a few quiet drinks. Unlimited Internet with WIFI right thru the house.
Hi, all! A very cheap room will be available on the 20th of February for someone! There may be 2 places available but for now, just one. The room is $215 per fortnight, not including bills or internet. The house is 550m (8 minute walk) away from St. Agnes Shopping Centre, which includes: - Coles - Crossroads - Commonwealth Bank - Restaurants/Cafés - Pet store and more. There is also a bus stop 350m (7 minute walk) away, which is the route for the 557 and 542. Tea Tree Plaza is also 2km away! There is a car park available with a garage for storage, if need be. I do own a cat, who is incredibly shy until she gets to know you! I have plans to adopt another kitten or cat when the lease is renewed. THIS IS DEFINITELY AN LGBTIQ+ ACCEPTING HOUSE! Smoking is allowed but only outside. There may or not be another housemate but she doesn't know if she's moving out or not, hence why the amount of rooms is uncertain at this point in time. !!!Photos will be uploaded in the next couple of days!!!
We are after a clean and respectful housemate to fill a Queen room (bed2 on floor plan), this room has views over Adelaide towards Outer Harbour. The house is in a quiet dead end street with views over parts of Adelaide with plenty of nature around, it has reverse cycle air cond and a combustion fire. It's about a 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop and a 6 minute walk to the nearest pub and Anstey hill hiking area. The room is furnished with a queen bed, drawers, bedside table, wardrobe and a TV. The house has unlimited NBN, some fox channels, Netflix and Stan on the main TV.
