Suit mature person; own room, $60 a night on a semi-permanent basis. Ideal for Fifo (part-timer). Ideally I’m seeking a mature, part-time house mate who has their own home else-where and comes to Sydney for work. To cover household expenses, fee would be a minimum of $240 for up to 4 nights a week (preferably set nights mid-week). Fee includes electricity, gas, Wi-Fi, cleaners and gardeners. If you are basically seeking an affordable bed and shower, a nice lounge room to relax in and in a tranquil, clean well-maintained home to come to after a hard days work, this could be the place for you. Sometimes I'll cook a meal for everyone or we might have a BBQ. Otherwise, preferably minimal use of kitchen; some storage space offered in cupboard and fridge and microwave for heating up pre-cooked food. I'm female, in my 50's and do shift work as a Support Worker for people with mental health issues and/or disabilities; I'm usually not home a few nights a week. I also go away a fair bit as my main hobby is kayaking - especially going away and exploring new waterways. I also enjoy swimming laps most days. Currently staying 3-4 nights a week is a nice family man aged in his 40's who comes down from Port Macquarie for work and a nice lady in her 50's who stays 3 nights a week. Located in a quiet dead-end street there is safe off-street parking at night and plenty of on street parking nearby through the day. The house is a block away from the major intersection of Ryde Rd and Pacific Hwy and just a few minutes drive to the M2. Public transport: house is half-way between Gordon and Pymble train station, about 15 minute walk to either (stations are on Sydney's North Shore train line, 30 Min's to city or beach, 10mins to Chatswood and about 15 to Hornsby ). Macquarie Park and University and North Ryde area are also within easy distance. Reference and photo ID required as is, bond $700, rent to be paid in advance with a minimum of 2 weeks notice on departure. All rooms are fully furnished with either a three quarter, a double bed or a Queen bed depending on which room and all have a wardrobe, desk, chair etc but you would need to supply your own linen and blankets. The room would be yours to leave your belongings when away but I reserve the right to use it very occasionally should I need to - if this would be an issue, please discuss with me. If interested, please email to let me know a bit about you and your expected daily routine, when you require room, for how long and which nights each week you require room and I'll respond so please also give me your private contact details. The agreed fee is for one person only which is for a semi-permanent arrangement and as such is to be paid regardless as to whether you would be here or not - for example annual leave as I will be holding the room for you and it barely covers the cost of my expenses, ie. you won't incur 'credit's' for days/weeks you don't stay here. Casual arrangements can be discussed but attract a higher fee and obviously wouldn't secure a room on an on-going basis. Regarding partners visiting, they'd be welcome to stay once or twice a year provided I have my privacy during the daytime and consideration to shower times, kitchen use, parking etc for others in the house are taken into account. For any more than a couple of nights a year, cost would be an additional $30pn. LGBT friendly but sorry no children, pets and definitely no smokers even 'casual' smokers. Also, I'm not keen on housemates having guests over but if it's a special friend or relative, please discuss with me. Thank you and good luck!

Hey, I am Anoushka I am from India. I will studying at Le Cordon Bleu to become a pastry chef. I am a really relaxed person, I like "me time" once in a while but usually I love to go out to pubs, restaurants and I am always up to try new things. I am a foodie and I am love watching TV shows and movies. I enjoy cooking for my friends and roommates. My idea of flatmates is greatly influenced by NEW GIRL. Most importantly, I would want my flatmates to be great friends.
I'm a New Zealander in Sydney. I work in an IT company in the CBD. I don't know sydney that well and at this stage I'm open to any location that would allow a 50 minute (from door to door) commute to Kent street (my office is near the corner of Kent st and Erskine Street). Currently looking at somewhere off the train line on the north shore on a quiet street. So I can walk+bus to a train station and then catch a train to Wynyard. Personality wise, I am mature, sociable and very considerate (this is most important ) enjoy having a healthy balanced lifestyle. My hobbies include: cooking, exercise, Japanese language and spending time in nature (sun/parks/beaches ) , gardening and silence. Weekends I like to sit in the sun/go to a beach/meet friends. I am not a party/noisy person and i don't want to live with people who are. My NUMBER ONE priority is a place to sleep that is QUIET. Not located near a noisy street/shop/neighbour and also internal quiet - living with people who also value quiet in the evening from 9pm onwards. I am quite sociable and would like to live with people who i can chat with but need quiet for rest/sleep. My office has showers so Monday to Friday I sometimes shower there before and after work which means no rush in the morning if we are sharing a bathroom. I also have meals with my job so don't really use the kitchen in the evening, however i sometimes do a cooked breakfast. Other notes. Do not intend on buying a car so parking space or garages are not necessary. No drugs/smoking. Would like a location that has a quiet room, laundry (washing machine + dryer/outside place to hang clothes) and good outdoor space, with professional people. Perfectly fine with pets. especially cats. I am happy to give out information such as facebook profile or LinkenIn Profile via message so you can find out more about me. I can also provide a range of references in New Zealand.

I study law and psych and I do cheerleading and play a little social soccer at Macquarie. I work 9-5.30 most days so you'll only see me at night. I'm clean, tidy and respectful of other peoples property and communal areas. I'm warm, outgoing and social I'm looking for a house with a sharehouse-family feel.
Moving to Sydney from Canberra, starting a new job at St. Leonards by September. I might look for something relatively permanent, but short-term stays are fine too. I'm looking to adopt a (relatively) minimalist lifestyle as I make the move so staying neat and clean should be with less effort. I can be relied on keeping the rest of the flat/house clean as well. I'm a non-smoker and would prefer meeting my friends outside rather than do house parties. In my spare time I usually try to be active - I'm looking into joining a badminton club and possibly have an indoor road cycling setup with Zwift (not brave enough to ride on Sydney's roads lol). I'm also keen to learn new sports/activities and join any after hours/weekend clubs. I also game on PC a little bit and a huge fan of the NBA. I'm still learning how to cook more food, but am keen to share whenever I make something nice. I'm pretty social and keen to meet new people, so I'd be down for a few drinks (in a relaxed environment) once in a while to unwind.

* I'm very respectful of others * I've matured into a very reliable flatmate (references can be provided) * I've worked F/time at the same company for 11 years - stable income * I 'honestly' don't mind pulling my weight in weekly cleaning duties. I like a clean place (but not OCD hahahaa) * I am a person who can give my flatmates space and content keeping to myself OR can enjoy a chat as well I have been renting with others for 10 years and i believe i am a reliable/respectful person who has a reference from my previous landlord to confirm my rent paying punctuality. I'm a guy who no longer parties (at my age) so you will not get any ugly surprises from me.
Hi, My boyfriend, Nick and I are looking for a team up to get a 2 bedroom for $450-$550. We currently live on the northern beaches, but am looking to be closer to a train line to lessen the commute. We are not home during the week very often due to work and usually leave the house around 7 and get home at 8. However, when we are home, we're usually pretty relaxed, however like the house to be clean and tidy. Happy to spend a night at the movies or watch a season on Netflix with you. Nick cooks a lot of meals, and we usually go out on the weekends, but are respectful of others. I also have heaps of furniture from my past apartment and would be happy to help out where needed. I would love you to get in contact with me if you think we would be a good match. Kind regards, Georgia Rose Andersen
Hi! My name is Olivia, I am a 3rd year nursing student studying at Avondale College. I also work as an assistant nurse at the SAN. I used to live in the nurses residence at the SAN but am now driving back and forth from my home in Newcastle. I have been doing a few house sitting jobs in Sydney until I can find a suitable house to move into. I am very reliable, tidy, organised and respectful of others. I tend to keep to myself but do enjoy socialising when I'm not at uni or work.
Hi there, I am looking for a place for my boyfriend. Stjohn is 22, very introverted and loves his own privacy. He is by no means a party animal and would prefer to find a quite place to rent. Of course he would understand if you would like the occasional gathering and friends/family over and will respect you and your own wishes. He is looking to move out ASAP due to unforeseen circumstances at his current home. Stjohn moved here from South Africa around 10 years ago, he enjoys playing guitar and video games in his own time. He also likes to train in Mixed Martial Arts, attends University at AIM and works part time at Aldi (as well as teaching guitar on his days off). If you think you have the perfect home for his, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you :)
