The house is in a very safe and family friendly area, and close to Graceville train station. There are shops and restaurants close by, and undercover parking. The new flatmate will have own room and own bathroom, with some storage space under the house. Internet is already available with Netflix already in use.
I’m Lara, I’m 25 and I work full time as a dental assistant and receptionist. I have a 19 year old cat who comes with me. A secure yard that has some sun and grass is needed for him. Own bathroom would be preferred but isn’t a deal breaker. Large bedroom required as I have furniture.
For the last hour I have attempted to sell myself in a new and exciting way. However everything I come up with sounds super lame and/or cliche. And does not showcase who I really am. So, I apologise in advance... My name is Mikayla; hey. I am easy to get along with. I work for an Insurance company in Brisbane CBD. Prior to that I travelled Europe for three and a half months. In September I'll be in NYC briefly. And I plan on visiting India, Thailand and the Philippines next year. I spend some time between the Sunshine coast and Melbourne visiting family. I am super family orientated, and often escape back home on long weekends. I'm stupidly positive, incredibly uncoordinated, a big fan of 90’s films and secretly obsessed with Asian food. I love to drink gin and boogie, but I also enjoy staying at home with a face mask on, whilst eating various of assorted foods. I spend a lot of my time in my room with my plants, at the beach, vintage shopping, at the local markets, or attending festivals. I love a good chat. The weirder the topic, the better. And yeah, lets live together :) Side note: Ideal I'd prefer mid June. However I am flexible with move dates!
I'm 23 and a full time worker in Brisbane CBD . I would describe myself as clean and tidy without being obsessive. During the week I tend to keep to myself a little as I usually go to the gym after work and then go to bed early, however I'm always up for chats. During the weekend I'm usually seeing friends but I'm always keen to go get coffee or a drink. I'm looking for someone with a similar lifestyle and who is easy going.
I’m a social geek who likes to watch movies, read, and play d&d. Would like to live with people who enjoy movie nights. I have a super lovely cat called Captain Spoons, and while he loves humans he doesn’t get along with other pets. Currently studying full time to become a pilot.
Hello potential flatmate(s)! I am looking for a house or apartment in the Paddington or Graceville area. I need something that's not too far from the motorway as I work in Ipswich. I am from Munich and a youth and disability worker and do shift work (mornings or overnight sleepovers). I enjoy painting, watching the sunrise and of course watching Netflix. Leeroy is about 5 years old and a lovable kitty. He loves humans and will snuggle up to you once he gets to know you. I am looking for a flat with one other person (maybe two other people),wooden floors, preferably with a renovated kitchen and bathroom. I like socialising but also respect that sometimes one needs a bit of space to themselves. I'm not a huge friend of parties, but love the odd dinner party or casual drinks at home. I have my own furniture including a couch,TV and book shelf as well as all the necessary bedroom furniture.
Hi, I am Alex (33) aka the Greek. I just moved to Australia after leaving in the UK for 10 years with a 2-year break away to Germany. I work in UQ as a Post-Doc. in economics and psychology. I love drinking coffee watching the sunrise and I try to exercise at least an hour per day (gym, tennis, yoga, swim, cycling) even if work continuously tries to get in the way. I am always in for the after work beer or glass of wine, and I enjoy cooking. Laura is a veterinarian. She is Spanish, currently living in the UK but she will be joining me in July. Laura is a horrible cook but you do not have to worry about that. Other than that we are very similar, she is always up for a beer and very social. As a couple, we are very laid back and social. We are looking for a house that we can call home with a group of flatmates that we can share a laugh and our dinner with. The place doesn't have to be spotless just fairly clean and reasonably organized.
I work full time and study and I have a little Black Toy Poodle called Leroy who loves people. I'm Easy going, Kind and I just enjoy time with my family and would love to live with people who love animals.
Hey there ! I'm a full time busy working young professional so I like to wind down in the evenings when I would be at home. I am a stable routinely person so you probably won't get any surprises as I'm not a party person. Clean, tidy and easy going character. I believe common areas kept neat and clean. Happy to socialise but also respect space and quiet time. I enjoy cooking, crafting, gardening, fishing, exploring and getting out and about. I love pets also but I don't have one. Non-smoker. Looking for: - commute to city under 30mins - long term rental - own bathroom preferable - well connected to public transport Look forward to meeting you :)
Bubbly and social, always down for a chat and the occasional wine but love my own space. Granny flat would be ideal but would also move into a large bedroom (to fit a queen, small couch and tv). Im a store manager working Tuesday - Saturday and often away on my weekends. Definitely looking for a big room but don’t mind sharing a bathroom. Very neat and tidy, and always pay my bills on time. Would want to live in a clean space. (Don’t mind what you do in your own room but common/shared areas would be clean areas) I enjoy travelling and food festivals and try not to kill my plants, but most of my time is spent working. Don’t mind living with pets but wouldn’t want them in my room.
Mel works part time as a health professional and is a part time post grad student. Xave is working part time in retail and about to start an apprenticeship trade. We are both social, active people who love being outdoors whether it's hiking, camping or exploring waterfalls! We are an easy going couple who have lived in several places with housemates previously. We promise as new housemates to woo you with our cooking skills and great dad jokes ;)
Looking for a quiet street to move to with a secure backyard for my pup. I’ll be at work uni or gym and hardly home. I would need a bed but other furnishing are taken care of.
