Government veterinary moving down to Canberra for a temporary transfer for 6 months with working for the RSPCA starting in June. Easy going, tidy and social. Love a cheeky wine but mainly just love chilling at home or getting out for a hike. I have an adorable long haired cat named Casper that I'm hoping to bring with me, he is very lazy but loves attention.
Hey! I've just come back from a working holiday in Queensland and looking to settle in Canberra for a while :) I am a very friendly person and respect others space. I am also keen on dinner and wine nights and the occassional adventure.

Just want something comfortable and flatmates who are respectful of privacy but social as well. Good vibes are so important to me. Im very friendly and respectful , keep mainly to myself but not I'm not shy of socialising at all. When I'm home I enjoy cleaning , cooking , working on art ,Meditation , reading ect . I hope to hear from some friendly faces soon ! Ideally looking for a furnished place . Hello! I'm currently working full time for ACT health. I'm an easygoing and tidy flatmate. I've lived in share houses for the past 5 years. I enjoy catching up over dinner/drinks but also respectful of others' space. Please feel free to message me with any questions and we can chat further. Thanks!
Hi there - I’m an APS person with wide interests outside of work. Looking for a cozy place to live and I hope to make some friends on the way :-) Bonuses of living with me are that I like to make art, share my cooking, and love a chat over coffee or tea.
2 Bedroom Apartment, with 2 Toilet and Bathroom (Master Bedroom with ensuite - vacant from May 22. Big space and clean apartment. Furnished. Rent is including unlimited internet use. 1 indoor parking space available 2 minutes walk from bus stations Convenient and close to city, airport, hospitals (Woden, Fyshwick, Civic,) if you have car. In between Manuka shops and Kingston Shops 5 minutes walk to nice restaurants and fast foods Have a lovely cherry blossoms view (from bedroom) during spring season
The apartment is cozy and bright, and while the address is Griffith I’d still argue it counts as Kingston. Apartment is quiet, and we’re friends with our neighbours. Balcony is perfect for morning cuppas and afternoon beers. Walking distance to pretty much everything going you need - Manuka and Kingston shops, the foreshore, ~15mins to parliamentary triangle, ~10 bike ride to Fyshwick markets, and the Kingo is basically rolling distance. Bus stop just round the corner and unlimited on street parking. Washer and drier already in the apartment. Housemate is taking the couch and dining table, so if you have furniture we’ll have plenty of room to negotiate. Also please note, housemate has already sold his bed frame, hence the ratchet floor-mattress situation in the photos. The place is clean and respectable I promise.
I work Monday to Friday.. I enjoy listening to music and prefer just to chill out on weekends. Looking to join a friendly and welcoming share house. If you have any questions just drop me a message :)
My name is Thomas, I am 38 years old, single, without children, nurse, and French. I'll be living in Canberra until July for a full-time english courses, at the CIT. Because I arrived in Australia one month ago my "english" is still at an intermediate level but I'll be improving pretty quickly. I am very easy-going and flexible to adapt to your way of living. I am looking for a flatmate in the area around Kingston. I'd be happy to meet you and introduce myself a bit more. Thanks
Hey there, I'm Sami! I have recently moved back back to Canberra after living in Melbourne for two years. Despite having just moved back I've decided I'm well overdue for some soul-searching travel so I am looking for a short-ish term rental (somewhere between 3 and 6 months but potentially longer - if you're looking for at least 6 months and I agree to this, I will of course stick to that!) while I save up and practice my Spanish before heading over to Latin America. I work in hospitality in the CBD/Braddon area so am looking for a house that isn't too far from there so that I can cycle as much as possible! I'm a big fan of plants so more than happy to help your indoor or outdoor garden thrive while I'm in your home! I am also very passionate about environmental sustainability and was about to go into my second year studying this at ANU before deferring so that I can travel! I'm great to live with because I am super accommodating! Ideally I'd love to be part of a more social house with a bit of a community feel but I'm also totally happy to be in a more quiet and reserved home too. I am tidy, respectful, always promptly clean up after myself, a non-smoker and always pay rent and bills on time. Please chuck me a message if you have any questions!
Hi! My names Martina, I’m 28yrs old and moved to Canberra 18months ago from Queensland. I’m an easy going, quiet and polite person who spends a lot of time at work. I’m respectful of others possessions, belongings and personal space. I’m hoping to find someone with similar traits to live with, who isn’t opposed to hanging out with wine in the evenings or whenever suits.
Hey there, I'm Rhys! I have just returned from 8 months in England and now looking for a place in Canberra. Not entirely fussed on location but my budget is up to $200 per week for a room big enough for a queen bed. I am 24 years old and will be returning to my full time job as an apprentice plumber once I come back to Canberra (currently living in Sydney with my parents). I'm not boring by any means but I guess I am a typical 24 year old guy - I work hard, I love a beer after work and a few more on weekends, I'm into gridiron and I spend most of my time at home watching Netflix or playing the PS4. I am also quite clean and tidy, can be sociable but can also just keep to myself at times. I'm looking to move to Canberra some time between very late May and early June so would love to find a room available at that time, preferably with some people similar to myself. Thank you!
My name’s Cherisse and I’m looking for somewhere to live in the ACT or Queanbeyan with housemates who are easygoing and fun. I’m pretty busy so I mostly keep to myself, but I’d love to live with people who share a few drinks or go out from time to time (I love love love karaoke). I’m a freelancer and often work from home, so I need a room with a reasonable amount of privacy and housemates who don’t mind helping me procrastinate through my writers block. Everywhere’s a twenty minute drive from everywhere else in Canberra, so the most important thing for me is finding housemates who are a good fit. Otherwise, I’m into fitness, don’t smoke, like animals and have a healthy fear of spiders. I come with an eight year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Dexter. He’s not very active, so he doesn’t need much space, but he does need secure fencing. He’s adorable, housetrained and loves cuddles and other dogs. I’m open to any sort of lease for any length of time. I’ve got my own furniture, internet and Netflix account, so all I really need is a bedroom. Hit me up if you’ve got a room that might suit me.
27 male, respectable individual. Working Professional, who mostly keeps it to himself but enjoys casual chats at times. Love star gazing - have my own telescope. Recent engineering graduate, so have been a student myself and I will be great with students. Happy to help with your coursework as well at times ;) just ask me nicely. HaHa
Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
Hi! I am a 24yo male working full-time as a corporate management consultant. I am social, clean (maybe a bit overly hygienic). Looking for long-term stay, my own bathroom, preferably a garage space. Would like to discuss if pets can be an option for the future :) I am looking to get a doggo.
Hey my name is Anthony. I'm the type of person who says thanks to bus drivers when alighting. I work as a Government Lawyer during the week and enjoy hiking and volunteering with conservation projects on the weekend. I'm a lover of all things jazz, history and Stanley Kubrick. We'll get along if we can talk about politics and podcasts. Looking forward to hearing from you!
A newly renovated apartment furnished with brand new essential household appliances. Your sun-filled, spacious room is furnished with a double bed (may consider removing it if you prefer to have your own). Although located in the main street, the apartment is north-facing and your room is very quite with a nice window view. The shower in the bathroom is all yours but the toilet is sharing (there is only one toilet but two showers in the house). There is plenty off-street parking available near the apartment. Transportation is not an issue with accessibility to a good network of public transport as well as close to the Manuka, Kingston and Griffith boutique shops.
I'm moving down to Canberra from Sydney in early May to start work as a government lawyer. I have normal hobbies, usually up early during the week to go to the gym. I'm very easy going and sociable but usually have busy weeks so like to relax after work. Don't mind a drink on the weekends, and like to get outdoors when I can! Have lived in share houses for the last 6 years, so know how to share, respect people's space and generally live hassle free. Feel free to message if you want to know more

I graduated high school last year and I’m looking to move out of my parents home and into Canberra. I enjoy reading, cooking, aikido (martial art), and going on road trips. I’m a bit goofy and up for a good banter every now and then. Currently, I have been offered a full-time position starting within the next few months, but until then I am working casually.
Available from Thursday the 2nd of May 2019. We have a housemate shaped hole in our three bedroom sharehouse and are looking for the right person to fill it! Maybe it's you? The room is unfurnished and cosy. You'll share a bathroom with one other. The house is large and lovely, with polished floor boards, plenty of space and a sunny front lawn - there's also a pretty sweet patio out the back if that's more your scene. We have central heating for the cold Canberra nights and all the internet you can consume. The gardens are low maintenance and there's plenty of parking available. The house is fully furnished, but you are more than welcome to bring your own things along. We also have plenty of locked, weather-protected storage for anything that doesn't quite fit.
