I'm 23 and just finishing up my degree. Working part time at the moment, and about to start working full-time at the end of the year. I love to travel and am searching for a place to live in August when I get back from a year in America and Europe. In my spare time I love to go out with friends, do brunch, drink wine, and watch trashy TV. I love animals, especially dogs, and would prefer a pet-friendly house (although I don't have any pets just yet). I am friendly and easygoing, and would love an environment I can relax in but can also have fun with everyone when we feel like it. I'm looking for flatmates to become a little family with seeing as I don't know that many people in Canberra any more. I'd love to either join a current house or start a new house with like-minded people. I'm looking for a preferably mixed-gender house full of people who would be happy to have a chat after work and share some wines over dinner. I also love to bake desserts so would love people who would eat what I bake so I don't end up eating it all myself! Please feel free to send me a message if you'd be interested in living together

I live in the inner-south of Canberra, in Griffith. The apartment is centrally located - it's walking distance to the Parliamentary triangle + Manuka shops. It also includes a car spot and is mostly furnished (except for the room). For more details, please message me. It would suit a public servant, uni student, or staffer.
I am wanting somewhere to stay that is a self contained, one bedroomed unit or granny flat where I will stay ( mainly Sunday to Thursday) each week. Sometimes my husband will join me. We live in Wagga; I am a professional person, quiet and live in a spotless home in Wagga (our own) so would want a bright and cheerful place with light and off street parking if that was possible. I'll be working in Deakin, ACT.
I'm a 26 professional moving to Canberra from Brisbane in the next couple of weeks to start a new job. Looking for a clean, tidy place ideally sharing with 1 or 2 other females. I am friendly, quiet, considerate, tidy. When I come home, I just want to relax and wind down... so sharing with someone with a generally calm nature like myself would be ideal. Would also love to share a chat and an occasional meal or wine together.
My name is Mike, I'm originally from Toronto, Canada. I've been living in Australia for 4 years and received my Juris Doctor from UC - I graduated at the end of last year. I'm currently working in Kingston and would love to find a place close by. I'm easy going, mostly keep to myself, but don't mind a chat, tidy, respectful, reliable. Just an all round decent guy really haha kidding...but seriously.
Super cozy Kingston apartment, close to everything you need - 5 mins walk to the Manuka shops, 10 mins walk to the Kingston Foreshore, ~20 mins walk to Barton APS offices and Parliament House. Buses 4&5 stop right outside, ~15 min trip to Civic. Free 24hr on-street parking right outside. You get the big room with a built-in wardrobe. No central heating, but the panel heater warms the room up to a toasty temperature in winter (and there's a split-system in living area). Bedroom gets the morning sun, so warm mornings in winter and cool afternoons in the summer. Bed in the photos is a Queen, so heaps of room for all your things! My housemate is taking some - but not all! - of the furniture when he moves out, so if you have furniture we can make some room, or if you're furniture-less it gives us an excuse for a quick trip to IKEA (jokes, there's no such thing as a quick trip to IKEA). Apartment has a fridge, washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher.
I'm sadly leaving this great apartment in an awesome location and looking for someone to take over my share of the lease. This spacious apartment is in the Killara building which is within walking distance to cafes, bars, shops and gyms at the Kingston Foreshore, Kingston shops and Manuka. Features of the apartment: - split system air conditioner in the lounge room - modern kitchen appliances including a dishwasher - heaps of cupboards for storage - huge living area - Internet $30 per month - underground car park, visitor car park and plenty of street parking You will have a bedroom and bathroom to yourself. Your room has a built in robe, heaps of natural light, direct access to the balcony and a lovely view of the trees on the side street. The apartment will be partly furnished so you're welcome to bring any furniture you may have. There is secure underground parking and plenty of free street parking available. The current lease ends in mid Jan, so would anticipate that you'd take over my share of the lease for the next 6 months.
Hi ! I'm a full-time professional who's looking to find a place near work. I'm clean and tidy and hope to find someone who's the same. But more than anything else I would like to find someone I get along with. I'm hoping to start a new place. Hopefully with someone with (or a willingness to purchase) a refrigerator and washing machine. I should have everything else (TV, couch, coffee table, dining table etc.)!
Hey !! Looking to move into a two beddy in the kingston/manuka/griffith area.. super easy going, clean and respectful. I went to boarding school so living with people is second nature. originally from the south coast, here for uni, studying a double degree of sport and exercise science and science psychology, while working as a bar manager. I enjoy a wine or two, good food, all the lafs, and easy going like minded people.
Am an easy going chilled guy, respect to be respected, tidy and respect people's privacy. studying in ADFA starting July and work full time. if you have any question feel free to contact me. Would be good to team up with other like minded people that enjoys a friendly dinner, a social drink, good conversations, and when needed some "me" time. Sadly the time has come to find a new home....however this is awesome news for you!! I'm looking to share or team-up with some awesome people in my quest for a new pad. A little about me: Originally from the South Coast, I'm working full-time and studying post-grad in Canberra. I'm an avid adventurer who enjoys fitness, hiking, kayaking and anything outdoors. I'm extremely socialable so hoping for like minded housemates who enjoy life!
Hi, my name is Jamie and I've just moved up to Canberra from Victoria to be a public servant and looking for a place to live. I enjoy reading, comedy and improvisation, maths, music, playing/watching sports and generally doing new things. I've lived in 3 share houses before and never had an issue with any of my previous roommates. If you would like to know more about me, get in touch.
I am looking for short term accommodation between July and August. I am currently working at the New Zealand High Commission part time and returning to New Zealand in September where I will be working for the New Zealand Ministry of Defence. I just finished my masters in strategic studies at ANU. I consider myself fairly social, but I do like to have a relaxing space to come home to. I love cooking - especially pizza and Italian food. I consider myself tidy and relaxed. I wish I could have a cat or a dog so if you have one I will treat them as though they are one of my own.
My name is Bella, I'm 22 and I currently work full time in a consulting firm in Fyshwick. I love to cook, am clean, and love to socialise, but can understand if people need their own space. I am in need of somewhere new to live in Canberra for me and my fatlord of a cat. I'm trying to see if there were anyone people out there who are happy with living with said fatlord, who would be interested in seeking out a new lease in a pet friendly property. Alternatively, if you have a friendly house with a bedroom than needs filling, please let me know! I'd be happy to live with 1-3 other people, and live anywhere from inner north to weston creek or woden, or queanbeyan. I also have a toilet trained boyfriend who will visit. Hope to hear from you soon!
I am currently cycle touring around Australia (since March) and will be coming back to Canberra in August. I am looking for a place (preferably furnished) in the Inner South as I have put all my furniture in storage. I work full time and am reasonably mature. I can be quiet at times but do also like to be social and enjoy the occasional drink with flatmates. I think I am reasonably clean and neat and would hope for the same with anyone I an sharing with. I'm fairly keen on cycling and a large part of my social life is taken up with that. The only thing I need space for is 3 bicycles (2 of which could probably go in my room). I don't have a car (do all my commuting by bike/walking or car share - so a car space is not an issue for me. Oh and that terrible hair growth on my face goes when I get back from my trip. Having never gone more than 3 days without shaving I was curious to see what would result. :-)
Moving back to Canberra from Sydney for public service work. I am independent, tidy, and considerate of others, having lived in shared accommodation my whole adult life. I like having a good convo, watching lifestyle tele, or sharing a laugh or listening to music, and being generally excited about looking forward to going out and doing things. I also look to keep fit, and eat well. I don't usually cook elaborate food, but open to trying. I am looking to move fairly soon, by around end June, and would prefer living in inner suburbs. If you have a place in a house, or want to team up to get one to share, let me know.
I'm east to get along with and have a lot of different interests. Love playing sport, going for trail walks, morning coffees, good chats & learning about different things. Although I'm a crap cook I'm trying to get better, and have to admit I'm pretty bummed about the lack of surfing opportunities in Canberra, but aiming to make up for it with the odd weekend trip to Perisha! I work in R&D management and have to relocate to Canberra from Perth for a new job. Ideally looking for a 2 x 2 to share, but feel free to msg me if you're interested in a bigger share place. Cheers!
My name Samantha. I'm looking to share with friendly respectful, creative people such as myself. I am aiming to live in the inner suburbs of Canberra, but, I'm flexible on that. I do have 2 older and wiser house trained cats who would like to spend their days living outside in the sunshine and their nights cuddled up in bed. Much like their owner. I love to cook, as much as I like eating good food, and draw my inspiration from my travels. I'm looking for a home to settle, so I hope your room is available ? Or you are scoping to set up a place? On My Ultimate wish list is a lock up garage : ) Please Text me if you have a room. P.s I'm open to negotiations on price, however I have a budget that ranges, relative to storage availability. My options are : Either Shared housing with lock up storage garage. Or setting up a place with someone. In the latter case I won't need a lock up garage. - I have lots of furniture in storage that can be pulled out to set up a place. Kitchen appliances, crockery, cutlery... the lot!! If anyone is interested in setting up a place with me? - I have lived with housemates in share house before and am house trained and Domesticated. Not interested in party houses or drugs at all. - Happy to share cooking on alternate nights ... or not . Pretty easygoing as busy lifestyle often dictates decisions on the fly. - About to start studying part time and work casually. I'm Seeking to share with someone who is open to the world, good humoured and doesn't mind the odd night watching TV or Movies. -

I'm moving back to Canberra for work after 9 months in Sydney. I'll be working in Deakin Mon-Fri. I can cook, I can clean and I like wine. I enjoy living in a busy house - I'm quite social. On weekends I'll be out and about or travelling to visit friends. Essential - walking distance to decent coffee :) Would prefer close to the city, don't mind North or South. I love animals so a pet would be amazing!
