About me (Maria) I recently graduated with a degree in Journalism in 2022, and worked as a journalist until moving to Australia. I’m now pursuing an online second degree in Graphic Design as well. I've been working as a Barista and as a costumer service in a bottle shop in Sydney. I’m passionate about sports and love staying active—whether it’s weightlifting, running, or climbing. I’m also eager to try new experiences like surfing and diving while we’re here! About Abel He is a software engineer who graduated in 2021 and has been continuously learning through various courses and training programs. In his stay in Sydney he ha been working in restaurant's kitchens and in an ice cream shop. He’s also a fitness enthusiast, so staying active is a big part of our routine. Our Lifestyle We live a healthy and balanced lifestyle—neither of us smoke, we don’t party much, and we both value a good night's sleep (eight hours is our sweet spot!). We’ve come to Australia not just for work or studies, but to embrace a new way of life, new adventures, and to learn from this enriching experience. We are in a Work and Holiday Visa so we expect to work around full time hours.
