I have been back in the UK since July 2023 and am looking to move back to Brisbane end of September/beginning of October. I wont have a car and so need somewhere that is easily accessible by public transport. I am a nurse and plan to apply for jobs over the next few months so that I will be employed when I get back to Australia. This means I will be doing shift work so ideally need a housemate who can be respectful of this. I am friendly, clean and tidy. I love to travel and see new places. But also enjoy spending days off relaxing at home and binging the latest series I am into. Happy to socialise but also enjoy spending time alone. I won’t be out partying every weekend but don’t mind the odd night out/a few cocktails. As I will be coming from the UK I would ideally like a room with air con (otherwise I may die) 😂. I also pay attention to small but important details that help keep a home in good condition — for example, I leave the washing machine door open after doing laundry to prevent mold, and I avoid rinsing leftover onions before storing them to prevent spoilage or attracting insects. Although I haven’t started working yet in Australia, I already have plenty of money, and since I hold both a sommelier certificate and a bartender certificate, I can find a job quickly.
