I am a considerate and happy person working FIFO currently 2 weeks away 1 week back, which makes me an ideal housemate as I wont really be around that much! I do have a beautiful Mainecoone Cat - Mozart - who will also be looking for his little space in the house. He is super cuddly and full of character ideally looking for a place that Mozart and I can call home for at least a few years. I have lived in sharehouses for over 10 years in Melbourne and Perth and never had any issues. I have references if needed. If you are looking for teamups for house hunting too I am keen and pretty much have enough furniture for a fully furnished house if you need that.
Built in 1904 by a local school teacher, this Federation cottage is a gem in the heart of Guildford. The teacher’s son, an ANZAC soldier, marched off to WWI from this house. It sits on a 372 square metre block, has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, parking for two cars, high ceilings, lounge and dining rooms, and a galley kitchen. The house has been extensively and lovingly renovated. It has been brought back to federation colours, with jarrah floorboards re-varnished and the garden simplified. It also has modern comforts, namely insulation, air-conditioning, alarm system, Crim-Mesh doors and a gas-electric water system. The front garden boasts a dozen rose bushes which bloom several times per year. The rear garden is easy-care, shaded in the afternoon, with places to sit and relax. The soil is very fertile and there is room for fruit trees or a vegie patch in the rear garden. Bus – 40 seconds’ walk Train – 7 minutes’ walk Shops, schools, hospital, café strip, restaurants, wineries , chocolate factory, airport are all close by.
I am currently studying Full time (3 days), and working part time at Coles. I am easy going, shy at first but social once you get to know me. I love art, crafts, nature and am a big fan of dining out! (and cooking). I love travel, relaxing with Netflix and wine, and would love to live in a house with pets! I'm studying Fine Art, so a big place with somewhere (garden maybe) I could work on uni projects would be great!
This is a 124 year old character house with high pressed tin ceilings. The best part is that it is very central to Guildford. Only a 5 min walk to The Guildford, Rose and Crown and so many little restaurants. Close by is the Polo ground which is great for those who like to run and the river and Lilac hill reserve are close by too. There is a lovely little back yard which is a sun trap but shade during the hottest part of the day. My lease is until October but am likely to extend. I do have two Kelpie Crosses who are indoor pets. If you have any other questions dont hesitate to ask
