I am a 33 year old professional and am looking for a room with own bathroom for a minimum of 6 months. I am from Victoria originally but have moved interstate (and overseas) for study and work, I have been back in Melbourne for over 11 years. I'd have to say my partying days are over, however I do enjoy a glass of wine at home or heading out to a nice bar for a drink or two, especially on a Friday night! I am out and about on weekends, I like to keep myself healthy and fit. I tend to keep myself quite busy but also enjoy a quiet night in from time to time. I am looking for a female housemate that is easy going and we can hang out but we also respect each other's space. I have been a home owner for over 10 years so I respect peoples homes and consider myself very house proud so I am very clean and tidy. I also love to cook.
Located in the heart of Hapton east. Very quiet and no traffic passing through this crescent. Close to the Moorabbin railway station (around 10 mins walk) Nice room in a 2 bedroom house. Would be sharing the entire house with another person. great garden space and living space. Bathroom is shared.
Bright, clean, and relaxed 2 bedroom, with 1 bathroom unit. Well located close to the beach, local restaurants and shops, 5min walk to Coles and plenty of outdoor spaces. The place is well kept and tidy, we have a nice garden including a veggie patch (any green thumbs out there?) and a large back patio. The unit is at the back of a small block which keeps it nice and quiet with plenty of street parking. The place is furnished with the exception of the room to rent, which easily fits a double bed and dresser with built in cupboards. Kitchen has a new fridge, the washing machine and dining room table are leaving with my current housemate so anyone with either of these items is welcome if not don’t stress I’m happy to buy them. Rent is $230 per week + Electricity/water/wifi I would prefer someone who would like to join the lease as I am looking for someone who will treat this as their home. It would be nice to have someone in the house who I can call a friend and be social with when we are both around, really looking for someone drama free and not a party animal! Definitely need a full time employed person who I can trust is good to pay the bills on time.

"There's A Red House Over Yonder..." Very comfortable 3 bedroom freestanding house in Bentleigh. Large living/dining area with a gas heater. Kitchen with room for a second fridge. Electric stove and other mod cons. Large shed out back with significant storage available - ample space for several bicycles or boxes of other stuff. Very big backyard with Hills Hoist, lemon tree. Lots of room for a BBQ and outdoor setting if you have them. Bus transport nearby. Train station (Patterson or Moorabbin - we're in between, on Frankston line) about 10-15 min walk away depending on how fast you walk. Woolworths closer. Bentleigh shops a short bicycle ride or even shorter drive away, with plenty of cafes and restaurants, and Aldi and Coles. There's room for two cars to be accessible in the driveway, otherwise unlimited street parking. The street is quiet, with a park nearby. If you're into cycling (as I am), Beach Road is a short ride (5 km) down South Road (bike lane). The room is the largest in the house. Large enough for a queen size bed, bedside table, a chest of drawers. The windows are north facing onto the street. There is a small wardrobe that comes with the room. There is room for a desk, other stuff - a lounge chair if you like. Hi, I'm Dave, I'm 41 and I work part-time in chemistry education for Monash University and study part-time in IT at Melbourne Uni. The hours are a bit irregular but I also do a fair amount of work from home for these, which also keeps me busy. I enjoy cycling a lot when I find the time. I'm not that much of a good cook but I try to eat healthily. I like music of the live variety. I like to chat over a glass or two about a wide range of topics. I'm looking for friendly and considerate people. We don't have to be best friends but can maintain respect for each other's space and privacy. I'd prefer not to have a duty roster for cleaning but to merely clean things when they need cleaning. A fair division of labour. I prefer sociable people, who can talk about issues as they arise. Your friends are welcome visitors. The landlord is very attentive to things that need fixing. He comes and mows the lawns and does gardening when they need to be done. There are no pets. Cat's are possible, but dogs are not possible due to landlord's aversion to them. Electricity, gas, internet, and water are shared evenly. We don't have a home phone, we rely on our own mobiles for that. Internet ($20 per month per person adsl2+ unlimited) can be just added to rent to save on hassle. Bond is actually $920.
The ground floor apartment is brand new and full of light! It is a very short walk to Highett train station as well as the supermarket and restaurants. As you walk in to the apartment on the right and left you will find the laundry facilities and one of two bathrooms. As you walk forward there is one bedroom on the left. On the right is the open plan kitchen and living room. Directly in front of you is the second bedroom. At the other end of the living room to the right are large glass doors that open to the backyard area. This is a lovely outdoor space that is almost as large as the size of the aprtment itself!

Recently moved from The Sunshine Coast in Queensland. I am living with my parents in Mornington initially to make the interstate move much more seamless. I am working full-time in The Mornington Peninsula Wine Region and want to have my own place once again, preferably close to the CBD.
Easy going, likes to cook, hang out and chat. I work Monday to Friday, 9 to 5:30. I like to socialise on weekends. Mostly quiet and gets along with everyone.

I've been at my current job for just over two years, i work Monday to Friday. i work in the CBD. i am currently single, i refuse to do online dating :) (NO TINDER!!) lol my goal is to save my money and go to University. just me and my little cat and my books looking for a home. (i do have a little bit of furniture, i'm happy to sell or store what i don't need) favorably, i will be looking for some where, that is able to store a few boxes; a shed or storage room. Also a house that has no other cats. An older dog or a experienced family dog, that has had some sought of living experiences with a cat before would be considered. Hello everybody, I am Ooshma 22years old. I am moving to Melbourne in September from India to study Pastry. I am clean and understanding person. I like taking walks, cycling, chilling with a glass of wine or two some nights. I understand the need for personal space but I am also up for spending time with my roommates and eventually be good friends with them. I am moving too far away from home so I am looking for people with whom I can have a home. I love baking, so there would possibly be cookies in the house all the time and who doesn't love some freshly baked cookies. Also, I am completely comfortable with sharing house chores, I genuinely believe in working together. Looking forward to living with you and having a ball time future roomie.

Hi there a little about myself.I am a fully employed beauty therapist working in South Yarra. I work 5 days a week including Saturday, so I get a week day off.My hours vary a little due to working one late night a week otherwise I have the luxury of starting at 10 in the mornings and usually finish around 6. During my working week I tend to keep a low profile.Outside of work I have many varied interests, I enjoy cooking , I am told Im good! I like to potter in the garden,at the moment I have a court yard full of plants varying from herbs to flowers etc. I love social interaction ie movies, exhibitions, coffee, dinner etc. I like a balance of social time and my own space. I have shared for many years and I am very aware of the dynamics required for a happy house hold. I am house proud and like a nice clean environment but I am not OCD. I am reliable with rent, utilities etc. I can provide glowing references. Ideally I would like to share with someone who is not a recluse and has the time to chat about your day.On the other hand I am respectful of personal space. I look forward to chatting further with those interested in my profile. Regards Andrea.
