So I've just moved over from Perth and have secured the job I wanted, now I need the home. I'm a professional so I'll be working lots and I hardly make any mess. I don't know many people over here yet so won't be making much noise, I love a good chat though.
If you're looking for an incredible residence with a respectful yet hilarious house mate who consistently blows your mind with greatness, then look no further. I'm a 27 years old professional who has thrown away my best years and social life in order to build a business. I like to cook a good meal and am happy to share (if you peel the veggies). I really love to laugh and have a soft spot for animals (sorry no you can't have any here). Enough about me! Let me tell you about the amazing house we will be sharing. It's big, it's new, and it's fully furnished! Featuring: -3 bedroom + study x2 -2.5 bathrooms -Huge designer kitchen with ice making fridge, overlooking an expansive dining and living area complete with 75" TV and ambient fire 2 further living areas -Double remote garage (complete with turn table!! I know😱) -Heating and cooling throughout -Polished floor boards -Fully fenced -Intercom -Internet -Opposite a park You'll have your own room (one has a balcony so be quick) access to a huge bathroom with shower & separate bath, plus a good sized living area with study (adjacent your room) If you're looking for an impressive lifestyle property with a genuine housemate then send me a text or an email and we can grab a coffee. Ohh and did I mention we have a coffee machine? :) Exclusive yes, expensive NO! I look forward to hearing from you!
Hey there, my name's Alek and I'm headed to Australia as an international student in late June. I'm a Graphic Designer/Art Director specializing in Digital marketing (so I'd make a great flat mate if you needed help in that area or something hahaha). I'm going to be studying in Holmesglen (the Moorabbin campus), so I'd ideally like to get a place close by. I can cook and am quite meticulous with chores, especially in communal areas. Although I do have the tendency to get a little more chaotic in my personal spaces-- I try not to use the whole 'creative brains work best in chaos' excuse... but yeah, pretty much. (Other skills include sewing, cat handling and photography... not sure when you'd need that though.) Ideally, I would like to live with someone LGBT as well, but honestly, as long as you have no problem with my being LGBT, we golden. One thing that might be a big thing for some is that you really ought not have fear of dolls. My hobby is primarily customizing and photographing art dolls. I swear they're not like those creepy dead eyed porcelain dolls, but if you've got a phobia this might be an issue? My other hobbies include D&D and playing boardgames. I'm wordy, but I'm perfectly content to just keep to myself if you're not into that. Though I'd prefer we become friends rather than just a couple of folks sharing a space, at the very least. :)
I am in my mid twenties from Ireland. Working full time as a Gardener Monday to Friday, no unsociable hours. Like to keep clean and tidy. I am easy going, laid back person, respect privacy of others and a non smoker. I like keeping busy by being out and about. But like to come home and relax in a quiet, chilled atmosphere. Would enjoy an evening with my housemate, having a chat and a beer or two. But also respect them and their space. Have been living in Melbourne over a year now and settled here. Have lived in shared houses in Ireland, America, New Zealand, Melbourne can provide references. Looking for a place preferably in Hampton, Highett, Elsternwick, Prahran, Windsor or surrounding suburbs. Looking for a clean place, dont mind sharing with a couple, would like a furnished room if possible. Available to move anytime, preferably as soon as possible.
Hey There, I'm living in Melbourne for 5 months now and am currently working full-time so I'm barely at home to be honest. I need a place to stay at and roommates that are fun to be around, easy going and clean. I have a bit of an OCD myself to the house won't be a mess and I'm always considerate when it comes to living with flatmates. If you're the same, I'll be more than happy to share a flat :) Cheers, Sam
Hi, my name’s Claire. I am 24 and looking at moving out of the family home. I am clean and tidy, and apart from my love of clothes, am quite minimalistic. I work full time in the city so would not be around much on weekdays. In the evenings I like to relax, have a conversation, read, or watch an episode of a TV show on Netflix. I love to travel. I have travelled quite a bit and love talking about different places in the world. I also enjoy going to the beach, going for short hikes, and the occasional glass of red. I do have a cat, Sunshine, who’s a 14 year old tabby, likes to sleep all the time and generally stays away from people. She can however stay with my family if need be. But if you are a cat person, she’s quite friendly and very quiet. I am not a fan of dogs. If you think I would make a great fit then give me a buzz.

"There's A Red House Over Yonder..." Very comfortable 3 bedroom freestanding house in Bentleigh. Large living/dining area with a gas heater. Kitchen with room for a second fridge. Electric stove and other mod cons. Large shed out back with significant storage available - ample space for several bicycles or boxes of other stuff. Very big backyard with Hills Hoist, lemon tree. Lots of room for a BBQ and outdoor setting if you have them. Bus transport nearby. Train station (Patterson or Moorabbin - we're in between, on Frankston line) about 10-15 min walk away depending on how fast you walk. Woolworths closer. Bentleigh shops a short bicycle ride or even shorter drive away, with plenty of cafes and restaurants, and Aldi and Coles. There's room for two cars to be accessible in the driveway, otherwise unlimited street parking. The street is quiet, with a park nearby. If you're into cycling (as I am), Beach Road is a short ride (5 km) down South Road (bike lane). The room is large enough for a queen size bed, bedside table, a chest of drawers. The windows are north facing onto the street. There is a small wardrobe that comes with the room. There is room for a small desk, otherwise there is space in the living/dining area for a large desk. Hi, I'm Dave, I'm 41 and I work part-time in chemistry education for Monash University and study part-time in IT at Melbourne Uni. The hours are a bit irregular but I also do a fair amount of work from home for these, which also keeps me busy. I enjoy cycling a lot when I find the time. I'm not that much of a good cook but I try to eat healthily. I like music of the live variety. I like to chat over a glass or two about a wide range of topics. The other housemate, Rosie, is a photographer. She's in her late 20s and for some reason I can't fathom, really likes penguins. She works part-time in various positions. The other housemate is moving out to a place he has bought. I'm looking for friendly and considerate people. We don't have to be best friends but can maintain respect for each other's space and privacy. I'd prefer not to have a duty roster for cleaning but to merely clean things when they need cleaning. A fair division of labour. I prefer sociable people, who can talk about issues as they arise. Your friends are welcome visitors. The landlord is very attentive to things that need fixing. He comes and mows the lawns and does gardening when they need to be done. There are no pets. Cat's are possible, but dogs are not possible due to landlord's aversion to them. Electricity, gas, internet, and water are shared evenly. We don't have a home phone, we rely on our own mobiles for that. Internet ($20 per month per person adsl2+ unlimited) can be just added to rent to save on hassle. Bond is actually $920.
Eleanor/21/F Moved to Melbourne from Brisbane, looking for accommodation closer to work. I do have a cat living in Brisbane that I'd like to bring down to me if possible. Fairly reserved as a housemate, but respectful and friendly to those I live with. I like cooking occasionally, and am happy to cook for the whole house when I do. Mostly I'd spend my time either working, hiding in my room, or exploring the city.

I'm a nurse at Epworth Richmond and enjoy a quiet lifestyle out of work! I love exercising and hitting the gym. I'm clean and generally keep to myself but would never turn down a chat or movie sesh on the couch This will be my first time living out of home so I'm looking for some easy going flat mates who don't mind teaching me the ropes :)
My name is Natalie Aitken and I am using Flat Mates in the hope of finding a stable and affordable home to share with someone who has similar interests and is reliable. I currently reside in Chelsea with my mum who I take care of. I have my own car and license which provides independence. I have no gender and age preferences to who I live with, as long as we can live together comfortably and happily. Regardless of my age I am very independent and mature and able to cater to my own needs. I am currently studying an Advanced Diploma in Justice at Frankston Chisholm TAFE and also work around 20-25 hours a week, part time as a bartender at Etihad Stadium and also The Arts Centre Melbourne. I love food. I love to laugh and to make people laugh. I love intelligent conversations.
Hey there! I'm looking to move out at the start of June to either a room in an established sharehouse, or in a new sharehouse we create. My ideal suburbs are from Ormond to Mentone along the Frankston train line, and the closer to a station the better as I don't drive :) A BIT ABOUT ME: I'm 18 years old, work in hospitality and am hoping to begin studying nursing within the year. I'm a big triple j fan, love a good Netflix/Stan binge and can cook a couple meals pretty well, but most importantly I'm an easy going and respectful housemate! REQUIREMENTS: I have two (very cute) cats that will need to move with me, but don't worry they are outdoor cats 95% of the time - the other 5% would be in my bedroom for cuddles. So they'd need some grassy area to hang out in and wouldn't mix too well with dogs but could be okay with other cats. Thanks for reading, message me if you have any questions or think we'd make good housemates!
Hi there a little about myself.I am a fully employed beauty therapist working in South Yarra. I work 5 days a week including Saturday, so I get a week day off.My hours vary a little due to working one late night a week otherwise I have the luxury of starting at 10 in the mornings and usually finish around 6. During my working week I tend to keep a low profile.Outside of work I have many varied interests, I enjoy cooking , I am told Im good! I like to potter in the garden,at the moment I have a court yard full of plants varying from herbs to flowers etc. I love social interaction ie movies, exhibitions, coffee, dinner etc. I like a balance of social time and my own space. I have shared for many years and I am very aware of the dynamics required for a happy house hold. I am house proud and like a nice clean environment but I am not OCD. I am reliable with rent, utilities etc. I can provide glowing references. Ideally I would like to share with someone who is not a recluse and has the time to chat about your day.On the other hand I am respectful of personal space. I look forward to chatting further with those interested in my profile. Regards Andrea.
Hi my name's Josh, My job as systems engineer takes me around Victoria and has a new office in Cheltenham. I work mostly in the city of Melbourne Monday to Friday. I enjoy working out a few times a week and love to make people laugh, which is nice when I seperate the two.
Hey future friend! I am moving across from Perth, to start a media contract with the ABC. I have lived in Melbs before and I am super pumped to come back...although moving in winter is pretty insane! I am a super outdoorsy person. I love ocean swimming, hiking, tennis! I also love having a good chat, but I respect down-time too! I have accommodation sorted from July 12th. So I am looking for somewhere to fill a one month gap (June 8th - July 11th!) (one month of FUN!) Feel free to drop me a message if you are keen x
