- Front Villa (shared driveway with the 2nd Villa). - Short walk to both and Nepean Hwy & Bluff Road, therefore short walk to Moorabbin train station, Woolworths, 7-11, coffee shops, bakeries and take-away food, several gyms to choose from within a block or so of each other, Dendy Park. - Well established front, back and side gardens which enable privacy. - Has a porch that almost runs the length of the villa and serves as a well protected outside space to sit in. - The room I am offering is the main bedroom. It has a walk-thru wardrobe; furnished with Queen bed (incl mattress), bedside tables; small wire drawers in walk-thru wardrobe. (Please note, a small portion of the wardrobe contains storage items). - Shared bathroom (bathroom is very spacious) with shower & bath. - The price is inclusive of utilities. - Suit someone who needs a quiet space in a quiet suburb. - Rent is payable upfront fortnightly or monthly in advance (can coordinate with your pay cycles). - Length of stay is flexible and negotiable. - ESSENTIAL requirement: you must like cats - I have a cat who (thinks he) runs the house. He has dog-like qualities in his personality (he runs to people, not away from them, to have a belly rub). If you do not like cats or are sensitive to cat hair then this set-up is not a suitable option for you.
Hi all, I'm Mitchell, a 26 year old Physiotherapist and have been living in Melbourne since March (originally from Sydney). I think we can all agree that Melbourne is the better city of the two! I work in Mornington Peninsula and live within the area, but am looking for something in the lower half of Bayside. I'll be working full time throughout the weekdays. I'm fairly active - most weeknights I'll be training in martial arts (judo) or strength & conditioning. I enjoy travelling and outdoor activities. In my free time, I like to catch up with friends over food and drinks (massive foodie) and exploring more of Melbourne's goodness. Otherwise, I enjoy just being at home too. I don't party. I'm social, easy-going and respectful. I've stayed in 2 sharehouses, so I know how to be considerate of the house and everyone in it. I enjoy cooking, and am happy to share meals and conversation too. I'm an ambivert, or a well balanced introvert; I enjoy the company of others, but I also crave quiet time to myself at times. I hope to find a housemate/housemates who are like-minded.

Hey everyone! My name is Peter, I am currently in the process of moving from Toronto, Canada to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa. Although I will be on a temp. visa, I am looking to permanently relocate and hope to work towards that upon my arrival. A bit about me, I am a young professional working in commercial banking. I'm very transparent and hope to find some mates who have the same values/interests. I am quite flexible with the duration of my stay. I prefer to find a place that is furnished and tidy. Close to public transportation and grocery stores are always a bonus! Looking for a place that is $200/pw inclusive of utilities and internet. Hi I'm Luke Todd, I have been working full time in Melbourne for the past 12 months after finishing studying the year before. I have just recently accepted a new role at a different company that will have me working in the south eastern suburbs. I work as a construction manager for a residential builder. Now I have decided to look for a room to rent, either long term or short term as I need to find a place as soon as possible. As I am currently renting in the northern suburbs as thats where I was working. I am a very independent person, who is also very clean and easy to get along with, I am also a very social person and enjoy to spend my weekends out and about catching up with friends. I enjoy my sport and fitness, so if I'm not busy working ill be either out running or going to the gym. Hopefully I'm an applicant your looking for and your able to offer me a room to rent.

Hello there, I am a full time work-aholic as a Project Manager in Construction. Currently working in insurance construction for the past two years! Been in Melbourne last two years (originally from Sydney/Canberra) living mainly near the SE Suburbs (Malvern East & Chadstone). Looking relocate somewhere in the near vicinity of work in Oakleigh South. Fairly quiet during the week and generally head out on the weekends to catch a gig/show or venture around! Love weekend trips away visiting the family! I'm easy going, big heart, honest, clean and great with bills! I love music and the arts, that is my passion! I'm 34 years young, play guitar and program songs. I also enjoy sculpting, painting and I adore all animals. Hoping to find a place with happy fun vibes with those of a similar lifestyle preference!
I love to socialise with my housemates in my spare time and also respect the needs of the house and other housemates. I love to listen to music, watch a movie, go out to dinner, walk along the beach or play a board game in my spare time! Work full time as a manager at a local pub, free drinks anyone? 😊
Hi all, About myself: I am a professional engineer with Northern-European background, recently moved here to enjoy better climate and way of life. I am cool with most of people and believe diversity will enrich us. I have a more doer attitude than a thinker or chiller. My hobbies include motorcycles (racing, cruising, touring), cars, bicycling, poker, disc golf, electronics, music. My ideal share-house I would join or create: I would prefer a European/western style share house (not a racist, we'll just get along better with similar cultural background). With 4-5 comfy individual rooms (to have more company, some possibly for couples), with an possible extra room for friends/Couchsurfers to temporarily stay in. All for the diversity. Can be male and female mixed. All working professionals (no need to argue about expenditures in range of 10$). Should be a home to live and thrive, rather than cheap accommodation. A big friendly family to share evenings and weekends by choice rather requirement, as of living together. Of course if one needs private time, this should be ok too. Friends coming over in the weekend should be a norm, rather a unwanted exception. Going out together to explore the city and events. Preferably with a paid cleaning for common areas/gardening service (unless somebody is too keen to do gardening by themselves. I guess cleaning in not a hobby :) ). Location: I would prefer living in a reasonable distance from my workplace (Mulgrave, up to 10km radius). The house should have a easy and fast access to the city for both car and public transport, should be located in or near the center of a well established suburb (restaurants, bars, cafes, etc.). House: Preferably new built or freshly renovated. Modern style. Adequate heating and cooling in all areas. Living area: Big living area with comfy sofas and large TV/projector. Console(s), if you are interested. Movie server/Netflix box. Fast Internet and WiFi. Kitchen: Big open kitchen with all the required utensils and appliances(micro, oven, cooktop, grill, etc.). Should be simultaneously comfortably use-able by at least two persons. Shared meals, why not. Backyard: Some greenery, BBQ, large covered sitting/lounge area. Possibly hot tub or a pool. Garage: Double-car garage with all the tools for simple maintenance for cars and bikes ( I am a DIY-er). Although, the actual vehicles should stay outside (except bikes and bicycles). Possibly create a common area there with a pool table, sofas and a fridge for drinks. My current situation: I do not own much property except a motorbike, a bicycle and some tools, but I would be willing to invest to create this kind of atmosphere. Of course, first solution would be to get all the required inventory from Gumtree for a cheap price and upgrade whenever necessary. It might be possible for me to get some of the stuff from a friend (couches, beds, mattresses, pool table, kitchen equipment). If any of this rings a bell for you, give me a message or a text, let's get together over a beer and discuss the possible future. Cheers, Rait
Hi! I just moved to Melbourne for a new job! I'm super clean, friendly and love to chill out with some netflix, good food or keen to explore some cool pockets of the city! See ya soon!
Hello, I'm Charmaine! I'm a PhD student at Monash University, so I work weird hours. I also work part time as a TA and RA. I'm hoping to live with someone I can be friends with, but will also respect my privacy. I love playing board games, discussing theories about my favourite books and TV shows and cake. I also love cooking and feeding people!
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 27 and live a pretty clean lifestyle apart from the cheeky cigarette at the end of the day. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 4yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a 4 month minimum stay, but could definitely do a long term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.
Originally from Perth, I'm currently studying teaching at Monash. I'm a quiet, low-key person at home, and when I'm not studying, I'm either baking or watching the footy. I've been living in a 4-person share house this year and definitely appreciate the need to be quiet, clean and tidy!
My name is Amy and my dog’s name is Gizmo. We are looking for a friendly, tranquil, animal loving share-house to settle into. I am 37 and currently work full time during the day (Monday – Friday). I am returning to study next year (Teaching Masters at Monash) and will be working part-time - receiving Austudy/Rent assistance from Centrelink. I enjoy Yoga, walking with Gizmo, reading, cooking, watching movies/t.v shows and catching up with family and friends. I’m looking for a furnished house with an unfurnished queen size bedroom. If possible I'd like my own bathroom, but would be ok to share with one other person. Non-smoking house please, this also includes outside. Gizmo is a Cavalier X Tibetan Spaniel (small/medium dog) who is predominantly indoors, but has access to an enclosed yard via a doggy door at the moment. He is fed in my room and sleeps with me at night. He is toilet trained, has a loving and social nature and doesn't bark much. I also take very good care of his hygiene so our house would never smell of dog. I'm a creative soul who loves music and theatre and will often randomly sing and dance around the house. I have an electric keyboard that I like to play occasionally as well. I’m happy to spend time socialising with my housemates, but also appreciate my alone time - it’s all about balance. Please feel free to contact me if you have a place you'd like me to consider, thanks :)
I am a neat and tidy person who respects others need for space but I am always up for a chat over a bottle of wine with some homemade bruschetta or pate and I make a mean spag bol, if I say so myself. I am a bit of a geek so will always have access to the latest shows and movies. As such I can contribute a 65" Sony 4K UHD TV, Sonos soundbar & subwoofer, Sonos Play 5, Roku 3, Apple TV v3, PS4, XBOX One and a WD Media Server. I don't watch much free to air TV as I love watching shows like Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, Suits, Breaking Bad and Outlander. I have travelled to a lot of European countries and can share some travel tips if you are considering travelling to Europe. I enjoy art and photography and I have rediscovered my love for exercise so if you need a walking companion I am always up for a walk or a bike ride although I am not much of a gym goer. I have an eclectic taste in music from good old 60's (think Tour of Duty) to Karen Souza, who I hear you ask well go check her out. Other Music/Artists I love include Rock Alternate Birdy Florence + The Machine London Grammar John Newman Tom Odell Damian Rice Stereophonics Rival Sons Paul Weller The Cure I am currently between contracts, I work as either a Business Analyst, System Analyst or Test Analyst depending on the role within the financial services sector, however, finances aren't a problem with regards to rent and utilities etc for the next 6 to 12 months so no need to worry about that. I would like to pick up my next contract prior to Christmas as I am sick of seeing my bank account reducing rather than increasing. Other things I can contribute to the house are a Nespresso machine, air fryer, 3 seater plus 2 armchairs and coffee table outdoor setting as pictured here http://www.superamart.com.au/outdoor/ranges/vivian/vivian-51181/
I am currently living with a couple of mates in Glen Iris but the lease runs out mid Jan! I work pretty long hours but always enjoy a drink or a night out. Very easy to live with, clean and tidy and love cooking when i have time. Not too sure how this thing works but lets see what happens! If needed i have fridges, washing machine and a full kitchen full of cooking/eating gear.
Hi, My name is Andrew and I am looking for a place to live for 6+ months. I am currently between jobs following an injury which I am currently recovering from. I am hoping to obtain employment as a coach driver over the next few months. I have lived in lots of share houses before, am tidy, polite, fairly quiet, and considerate. I enjoy having a chat with my housemates, but also respect everyone's privacy, and enjoy doing my own thing. I enjoy getting out and about during the day, going for walks and cooking (I used to be a chef). Hope to hear from you soon.
Hi I'm Bella (intl - S.A) and I'm looking for a place to stay with my partner, Jim. We work part-time and study full time. Saying that, we don't really have a lot of free time, but when we do, we just like to take it easy, such as watching a movie or just chilling with friends/house mates. We're looking for some where unfurnished, as we already have bedroom furniture. Not really party crazy kind of person, but we're more than happy to have dinner or chill out with a board game or two with you or binge watch a series to two. We're clean, responsible, and easy going :)
To my future flatmate. My name is Jaylene I am a single 42 year old female. Who enjoys the company of others. I am clean, tidy, friendly and social. I like to eat healthy and keep fit. I am currently unemployed due to an old injury I have suffered for sometime. I am on a Centrelink benefit which will be on going until I receive the full and proper treatment. I am currently paying $180 a week but I am looking for something around $200. If you wish to know anything more about me please ask me and I will be happy to answer any question you have.
I'm a Monash University student and I work part-time as a tutor (both at a tutoring center for stable income and as a private tutor for extra cash). I am quiet but still sociable and easy to get along with. Most of the time, I will be out for uni or at work. I am a very neat and tidy person.
