Premier Location - at a Fraction of the Price Step into life in leafy Yarralumla in the beautiful Yarralumla Shores Estate, with a beautiful three bedroom home just waiting to welcome you into the heart of the National Capital. The apartment is a beautiful, clean and lovely home with air conditioning, an excellent kitchen with dishwasher and perhaps the best oven that has ever existed (Seriously, it’s worth the rent just to use the oven). Also has a dryer, a fantastic library (which you are encouraged to peruse!) and a pair of wonderful housemates to share with. The house is five minutes walk from both the lake and the local shops (featuring the best kebabs in the ACT, bar none.) ten minutes drive to the City, and half an hour’s bike ride into the ANU. The successful tenant will be moving into the charming upper floor bedroom, which is southeast facing, and gets just enough sun in the morning to help you wake up for work. It also features blackout curtains, for when waking up isn’t a priority and has enough room in it for a queen size bed, office, and more. The bathroom is shared with one other. Bills are split evenly, the last being around $250 (Electricity). Wifi is $20/month. Rent is paid monthly on the 27th, and is $800.
This excellent property is situated in prime location within the parliamentary triangle. Close to all amenities and Manuka village. One minute walk to bus stop, less than 4 km to Civic (Canberra city centre) and Australian National University.
The house is pretty amazing, it feels like it's come off a set of Mad Men, it's a stupidly cool place to live. The house is fully furnished, has cork floors throughout, floor to ceiling windows around the whole back of the house that opens onto an entertaining deck and backyard, the house is filled with light and has beautiful timber panelling throughout. All bedrooms are all queen size, the bedroom has a bed and built in wardrobe, there is one room available it is the only room at this end of the house near loungeroom, it has a built-in cupboard with shelves and a cupboard outside room for hanging clothes also available, it overlooks back deck and the backyard. This will be available end of January. We have 1 girl & 2 boys aged in mid 20's, and me in my early 40's I own a cafe in the city, we are looking for another housemate, we enjoy each others company, eat occasionally together, giggle a lot and respect each other's space. Our household is a fun one! There is also a baby in the household 8 weeks in Mid Jan, so you would need to be ok living with a small child if looking to stay after this date. (baby doesn't cry often if at all?)
Working as a hairdresser full time. Love meeting people and hanging out but know about that personal space lovin. Looking to be in a pretty chilled out environment.
Hi there! I will be moving to Canberra next year working as a full time professional (8am-5pm). I am looking for temporary accommodation beginning February 18th, 2018 till Mid/late April. I'm clean and respectful around the house. I also respect privacy of others but don't mind a small chat here and there :) Hobbies include going on hikes and group fitness classes :)
Hi! I'm moving from Sydney to Canberra due to a job offer. I'm very easy going and have experience with shared accommodation. I always clean up after myself and keep the shared area tidy as my own. Although I'm always up for a good chat, I enjoy my alone time. I'll be working 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday and spend the weekends with my boyfriend so I won't be at home much.
I'm moving back to Canberra after a short time away and am looking for somewhere to live. Working full time time keeps me pretty busy, but when I'm not at work my interests include cycling, mountain biking and skiing. I've lived in lots of sharehouses over the years, am generally relaxed and content to do my own thing, but would be great to live with some like-minded people who enjoy sharing the occasional meal or glass of wine.
Hey! I'm Steph, I'm 22 and moving up to Canberra from Melbourne to start a new job with the public service. I consider myself to be clean, easy going, and am always up for a chat, post work wine and cheese, or brunch on the weekend, but also respect and understand the need for personal space.
I'm coming down from Brisbane to Canberra for a graduate position within the APS starting February. I'm relaxed and laid back, easy going can get along with anyone, love a good laugh. Won't be bringing much down with me so will be tidy no hassles there! Into sports, bit of casual gaming , outdoor activities, and travel so definitely looking forward to seeing what Canberra has to offer in that regards. Show me what you got, Would prefer 6months+, I am flexible with move in dates but prefer to be in Canberra by February the 1st at the latest. Cheers!
My name is Hannah and I am moving down from Sydney for a full-time position with the APS In late January. I am a neat and tidy non-smoker, looking for shared accommodation for a minimum period of 1 year. I live a pretty active lifestyle and spend my free time out and about, hanging out with friends, and hitting the gym but will just as happily binge watch some TV from time to time. For the most part, I keep to myself however, my friends consider me a pretty good cook so I am happy to share a drink or meal some evenings to wind down if that’s your style. (As I’m a Canberra newbie, I’m keen to take any hot tips you might have!)
I will be moving to Canberra in January to start post-graduate medicine at ANU. I have lived in share houses in Sydney's Inner West for almost 4 years, and have lived with a huge range of people. I have an little indoor cat named Eva, and we are looking for a relaxed place somewhere close to ANU or the Canberra Hospital to share with clean but relaxed individuals!

Looking for: -Beautiful new home with some cool cats (allergic to actual cats). Ideally want to be in the house before 8th Feb, but am flexible with move-in dates. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
I have recently relocated from Newcastle to Canberra to study a masters program at ANU. Currently staying in short-term accommodation in Scullin, and am looking to move in closer to Civic before or starting at February. I have about five or so years experience living in sharehouse arrangements. I am neat, clean, responsible and quiet. I enjoy a friendly household where the tenants engage in polite conversation, and I am also conscious of giving people space and privacy.
I am a enthusiastic person who loves to socialize with new people. Nevertheless, I also understand personal space, and will not impose. I am a student of international relations and diplomacy and as such am interested in politics, human rights issues, etc. Before I started this Master I completed my Masters in History as well. So if you like to talk about medieval times, that is absolutely fine by me. Don't worry, I am capable of talking about other things as well. I am staying in Australia for 3 months to conduct an internship at the Belgian Embassy and hope to make some new friends while doing so. Greetings ;) Ine
I will be moving to Canberra to start working full time at the Royal Danish Embassy starting end January 2018. I'm currently a political science student from Denmark. I'm pretty easy going, easy to talk to and very sociable.Since I don't know anybody, I would love a roommate who also want to do something and spent time together (I'm not saying that i am going to be clingy, and I do respect and enjoy privacy). I'm very active. I like to play football/soccer and run or go hiking and explore the city. But I kind of also really like candy and Netflix - I get easily addicted to new series.
Hello! I'm a 23-year-old uni student, moving to Canberra from the Sunshine Coast to study at ANU next year. Looking to move into a furnished room in an existing place near uni in early February. Keen to live with like-minded students/young professionals. I study full-time, work part-time in a bar (late nights) and like to relax and have a glass of wine with friends on my days off. I am really easy going and good at being tidy, making margaritas, paying rent on time and respecting others space.
I'm a 24 year old guy who has relocated to Canberra just over a year ago. Work in the public sector. I am looking for somewhere to live preferably over a year and beyond but anything over 6 months is decent. I'll tell you a little about myself. I especially enjoy time at the the beach and exercise when I can, cooking, netflix and walks up any close by mountains are also my hobbies. I consider myself to be a clean and considerate person. I'm a very social guy and enjoy a good chat and the occasional bev on weekends. However can respect anyone's privacy and enjoy some time spent alone too. I'm also likely to travel interstate quite often so most likely not always gonna be home. I often have a busy lifestyle but find balance to be very important. I'm easy going, love to meet new friends and share experiences. I have also had more than 5 years in house sharing experience. I also have a brand new humungous LG fridge/freezer and new lounge pull out sofa bed thingy with storage that can be of use to the home. My potential roomie must be able to fail a criminal background check, preferably because of time spent in prison, you must have enough pets to classify your room as a small zoo, and you feel the need to explain how your ex screwed you over in your reply email. I'm just kidding. I cook lots of chicken nuggets but can actually cook a decent feed and absolutely love cooking and sharing with my roomie/s every once in awhile. I'm a decent human being often finding myself wanting to help people for no other reason than they are human. If I sound alright, let me know whats up. I don't expect y'all to kick out your significant other/best friend/elderly grandmother to let me move in but. Cheers✌️ Marley
Hi! I'm moving to Canberra from Sydney in late January to start a full-time job with the Attorney General's Department. I'm looking for medium- long term accomodation though I'm quite flexible. I'm tidy, easy going and happy to catch up and relax over board games and a few drinks. I'm also respectful and responsible and would be more than happy to contribute to whatever the house needs. I like cooking (especially desserts), reading, watching movies/TV, hiking and going to the beach. I'm happy to talk over the phone or drive down and meet in person if you're interested!
Hi all, Social and considerate 32 y/o with plenty of share housing experience. I don’t smoke, work full time in a science roll for the public service and throw a bit of study in occasionally. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, cooking good food for myself and others, travel, movies, playing sport(professional social sport ring in) and running trails. Looking to move somewhere from January-February but very flexible
I'm a 25 year old female looking for a place to live with respectful housemates. I'm happy to share a wine or dinner, although also enjoy my own time and space. I've been in Canberra just over three years, and my current housemate is moving to Sydney.
