Clean, quiet and furnished room in Hawthorn for rent to a single female above 24. Available for rent for 3-6 months. If the ad is still here, the room is available. Unfortunately, I am unable to accomodate males, couples, or pets. *** If you are repying to this ad, please let me know as much about yourself as possible, including your age, background, lifestyle, routine, and interests, to give me an idea as to whether we would get along enough to live in the same household. Replies with a one-sentence description of yourself ("I'm 24 and want to move in ASAP") are unlikely to receive a reply because they give me no idea as to what kind of person would be moving into my flat. *** You would be sharing the flat with 2 female working professionals (nurse and psychologist). It's a quiet, even boring, but safe and clean household. Ideally you'd be studying or working full time, able to pay rent on time, consider yourself clean, healthy, and independent, and able to interact appropriately in a shared household. ** PLEASE NOTE: No outdoor shoes are allowed inside the house for hygiene reasons. ** The flat itself is 1940s Art Deco, and unrenovated but reasonably clean, cosy and fully furnished. The room for rent is carpeted and comes with a bed, desk, chair, lamp, and a set of drawers. The kitchen and bathroom are shared. It's located on Coppin Grove, just off Burwood road, on a broad, picturesque street lined with period houses and old trees. We are just across from the Yarra river and surrounded by parkland. Transport wise, tram stops 48 and 75 are at the end of our street, taking you either to the city or into the eastern suburbs in 15 mins or less. Hawthorn train station is 700 metres from our doorstep. There's a supermarket, pub, pharmacy, post office, and other shops metres up the road. Free street parking available. Being in Hawthorn and next to other great suburbs like Richmond, Abbotsford and Kew means we are close to a great spread of lifestyle options: Melbourne Uni's Burnley campus, Swinburne Uni, Glenferrie Rd's Lido cinema, Aquatic centre, cosmopolitan restaurants and shops, and Bridge Road's cafes and pubs. Ikea and Victoria gardens are also within walking distance. The rent is $250 a week, payable fortnightly. This includes electricity, gas and water. There is a bond of $500.
Open This Sat 11:30-12:30pm Come in and have a look, if it’s not to your taste no worries, but if you like what you see feel free to stay back for a chat - I’ll be around to answer any of your questions. Otherwise I’m happy to set up an additional private inspection. RECECENTLY RENOVATED Impeccably-presented ground-floor apartment with everything right at your doorstep. Pristine interior comprises two double bedrooms (both with BIRs) and updated central bathroom, light-filled lounge/dining area and adjoining kitchen with gas cooker. Add to this split-system heating and cooling, polished hardwood floors and internal laundry facilities. Walking distance to Hawthorn Station and city-bound trams, popular parks and riverside trails, Swinburne University and renowned cafe/shopping precincts. The photo of the room available is the one with the wardrobe space extending the length of the room. It’s the 1st bedroom photo displayed in the list. Additional features include: • Telstra Cable Broadband • Apple TV with Netflix & Stan • Communal Laundry with Dryers - my apartment does have a washing machine, but the communal dryers come in handy during the colder months. • On-street Parking - permit easily attainable.
In our humble opinion, it's the centre of the world. A 10 minute walk to the nearest station, even closer for tram - 25 minutes to the city via public transport. Walking distance to Hawthorn and a short tram ride to Swan street or Bridge Road in Richmond. Rooms are all fitted with aircons. You get to live with two great blokes. Modern Kitchen that goes out to a little backyard. You also get to live with two great blokes. Surrounded by great food and coffee spots. And you'd get to live with two great blokes.
Hi there, due to a move to the flat above we're looking for a new person to share the ground flat. Move in date is flexible, but ideally by first weekend in March. Rental period is also flexible. With Yarra river proximity and Parkland views the flat is ideally located in one of the most convenient parts of Hawthorn. The flat is open-plan living room and kitchen, plus a dining room with full length windows facing directly to the Yarra River and parkland. The flat is also located close to the 70 and 75 tram lines and quite close to Hawthorn train station. You'll be sharing with a 30 year old male professional working in radio who is fairly quiet during the week and usually out and about on the weekend. Rent is $934.00 per month, plus bills. Let me know if you'd like to come and meet me and view the flat. Couples welcome. Phoebe and Matt.
Hi Everyone! we have a huge Art Deco mansion room with a fireplace to rent in Hawthorn. It's an old house, freshly renovated with new furniture and we are first lucky tenants. So the room includes a double size bed, desk and a wardrobe. Very minimalistic approach. So with a little bit of creativity you'll be able to turn in into own little kingdom also it's a very bright place because the windows are facing north, west and south. Other features of the house include 1 bathroom with shower, large kitchen, central heating (winter is coming, it's about time to prepare yourself), laundry/ shed, little back yard with a porch, we also plan to start a herb garden - perfect for a lazy breakfast or summertime bbq. The house is primely located on Carson Crescent street, 750m away from Hawthorn train station, 1km away from Glenferrie station, 1km from Swinburne Uni and 350m away from the nearest tram stop. The 75 and 70 tram are a 3-5 minute walk away. It takes around 20 minutes to get to CBD . Quality restaurants and a great cafe less than 10min walk with plenty more in nearby Hawthorn and Richmond . A gym, swimming pool, Lido cinema, post office, and 7-11, Woolies, Coles, Chemist wearhouse are within 10-12 minute walk. There are several nearby parks for a run, cycle or a walk. House is being renovated at the moment. Those pictures were taken before and we will provide new pics within a week time. We are getting the house on 19th February and we would like to hold all inspections on that day. It would be perfect if someone could move in next day or the following days. If your're really interested in living with us, it would be cool to meet before for a pint or a coffee but it's not a must.

Hi, i'm Henry! I'm a full-time Law student undertaking my final year at VU. I work at a Pharmacy in between that. I'm a avid lover of sport, movies and books. I'm a clean, tidy and respectful housemate. I enjoy socialising with other housemates, but also understand that everyone needs their own space. Looking for anything from 6 months - 1 year, but that is open to change if I really like the place! Any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!
I'm dependable, trustworthy, a little quirky, and honest (although it might take a little while for me to fully open up to people). I'm a quiet person in general but I'm also friendly and will become more talkative and excitable once I've gotten used to the people I'm around. I'll admit in my personal spaces I can be a small bit messy but otherwise I consider myself to be clean and organised. I'm willing to negotiate and compromise and would rather talk problems out than argue. My hobbies include reading, watching Netflix and anime, and a whole lot of drawing and painting, as well as playing console, computer and tabletop games. Also, and I'm not entirely sure how relevant this is, but i really love Japanese culture and language and so i can read and speak beginner-intermediate Japanese. Well, that pretty much covers it without giving an entire life story, ahaha. Please consider me!
Hey there! My name is Eeman and I will be moving to Melbourne in February and I am currently looking for people to team up or share a house with. I have been enrolled in Swinburne University, Melbourne for my Bachelor degree and I will be working part time as well. If one were to ask my friends to describe me they would describe me as a very pleasant, friendly, diverse and intelligent person. According to me one of my most distinctive characteristics is the miscellany of experiences I possess. I am a science student with panache for arts. I am a girl with technical aptitude and amazing management skills. I also hold a passion for travelling and understanding different cultures throughout the world. There is a special place in my heart for literature as I love to read and write occasionally as well. Photography is one of my hobbies and I absolutely love to capture the precious moments that life offers and preserve them as unforgettable memories. I consider myself to be a person who is great to live with since I happen to be very friendly and flexible by nature. I don't have any requirements and I myself am very neat and tidy and neither do I have any such activities that would bother anyone. I am expected to be busy with University and work mostly and won't be home for quite some time. I am only looking for good friends to stay with me, have meals with me, hang out and enjoy. I am a very independent person who appreciates time to herself - and I am respectful of other people's space. Therefore, I won't be causing you any trouble or invading your privacy. Also, I don't mind sharing house jobs AT ALL. :) I assure that whoever stays with me will have a memorable and trouble free time. If you feel that you've found the suitable person to live with, please leave me a message! Cheers! x
I am really easy going and tidy. I work Monday to Friday 9-5 and usually gym outside those hours. I am looking to begin a masters so I will likely be studying if at home or taking care of my Rabbits. I have two rabbits Alfy and Cookie who I take good care off. They live outdoors in a self contained area. I love animals, health and fitness, brunch and meditation. I enjoy a chat in the evenings and also happy to give others space.
I'm a recent Uni graduate (bachelor of Arts, specialising in fashion) looking to move to Melbourne for better opportunities. My plan is to move, find work doing whatever at first and then go up the career ladder in my own field when opportunity allows. I'm tolerant of other cultures, lifestyles, etc. I mind my own business normally. I'm pretty quiet, I don't drink to excess, I have never smoked and never taken illegal drugs. All I ask for is a room, bed, wardrobe, drawers and somewhere to put my computer. I would prefer a private room in an existing share house. I will consider room sharing but only if the place is VERY CLOSE to the CBD or in it. Sorry, not interested in teamups. I would rather live with people of similar age but age isn't necessarily a dealbreaker. Dealbreakers: - smoker who smokes inside - illegal drug use - intolerant / nasty
Hi! I'm Georgia. I'm from the country and moved down to Melbourne three years ago for uni. I have just graduated from the Academy of Design Australia with a bachelor of design majoring in communication design and am currently looking for full time work since finishing my degree. I am pretty clean and don't leave my stuff lying around. I do not mind friends/partners of other housemates visiting as I myself have my boyfriend over a few nights a week and enjoy having friends over for drinks on the odd weekend. I am very respectful of other peoples belongings and would never do anything to damage anything. I like learning guitar and listening to music. I love animals and am cool with there being pets living in the place!
Hi, I'm Jeremy, I'm moving into the area due to work. Flexible with the move date, happy to move in earlier or later if I find the right place. Looking for min 6 months with the possibility of extension Bit about me: Busy IT professional working full time and working on a couple of personal side projects - Laid back and easy going - Definitely not a party animal. Not much of a drinker and don't smoke, but don't mind drinkers - Love movies, short courses, cycling, trying to exercise more - Landmark Forum graduate :-) Calm and level headed - Travelled overseas and lived with diverse group of people - Born and grew up in the lucky country - Prefer room for a bicycle (indoors in a bike cage or garage or bedroom) Quiet but social, easygoing, laid back. Not really looking for anything specific, just people I can get along with and have a chat with every now and then. Would be great if they're into cycling or movies. A movie/tv fan. No specific requirements with food. Prefer to organise my own, but more than happy to share food every now and then. Would prefer 2+ flatmates, but not a deal breaker! Can do 6 or 12 months
Hi my name is Paulina, I have been living in Melbourne for about a year now! Im looking for a friendly and respectful place I can call home with housemates I hope to soon call my friends. I work full time, I am clean, I love to cook! I'm am a true Cancerian (star sign) who also likes to socialise! I can talk for days however I'm very respectful of personal space. I'm looking for fun, easy going clean house mates who like balance and wouldn't mind the idea of sharing stories over a glass of wine! Please feel free to ask further questions! xx
I moved from a small, far south coastal NSW town in 2016 to start at Melbourne Uni in a science degree. I'm hoping to get into med (scary) to become an orthopaedic surgeon! I also work in a foodstore/cafe in South Yarra. I'd like to find a place with a few people (preferably late 20s, mature and not into drugs and smoking) who are either full-time workers or full-time students and have lived in share houses before because I don't want to live in a "party" house (however, I don't mind going out for a drink once in a while). I have lived in share houses before and I'm very considerate, polite, very quiet and a bit of a clean freak and respect everyone's private space. I'd like to find similar people to live with! I enjoy studying (weird, I know), hanging out with friends, exploring Melbourne and going to the gym. I binge watch stupid youtube videos, Friends and obviously Harry Potter. Also, I'd love someone to go to the footy with me! If someone wants to take me to the beach as well I won't decline the offer :) My ideal place would be near a train station since it's a bit of a trek to uni, especially in the mornings! (no share rooms)
Hey I'm Kaitlin! I'm 20 years old from Queensland and been living in Melbourne since 2016. I was studying Arts at Melbourne Uni, but this year I'm starting an Animal and Veterinary Biosciences degree at La Trobe. I'm tidy, considerate and sociable - enjoy a chat or a drink with housemates but also value personal space. I'm currently working casually at Subway in the city. I'm also vegan and love animals so much, but very easygoing and totally happy living with non-vegans! In my spare time I like cooking, going to the gym, doing yoga, binge-watching Netflix (/tv shows like Bachelor) and going for drinks with friends. Send me a message if I sound like your kind of housemate!
