    Dayana

    $260/week31 year old woman

I’m from Korea and will be staying in Melbourne for one year on a working holiday visa. I’ll be arriving in November and I’ve joined Flatmates to find a place to stay. I don’t smoke and I’m not a fan of drinking. I’m not into loud conversations or parties, and I don’t talk on the phone all day. If any friends or family visit me, I’ll make sure to get your permission first. I’m a calm and tidy person. I'm also bright and positive.😆 The space I live in is always kept clean and organized. I will keep your home clean and treat it as if it were my own. I value following rules very much. Since I also value good manners, I’d really appreciate having housemates who think the same way. For example, not being too loud at night, and avoiding cooking or running the washing machine too early in the morning or too late at night. And don’t worry—I won’t scratch your frying pan or damage your furniture!😆 When I first arrive in Melbourne, I plan to take walks around the neighborhood to get used to the area. Once I find a job, I plan to work full-time. On my days off, I enjoy watching Netflix, visiting cute cafes, reading a book, or taking naps. I respect the personal time of my housemates and landlord. If you like Korea or want to learn Korean, I’d be happy to help you. I also hope you don’t mind me cooking Korean food. I’m really hoping to find a great place to stay. Thank you in advance!😊

    Marty

    $350/week35 year old man

About Me Hi, I’m Marty — 34, friendly, and easy to get along with. I work full-time and keep a pretty balanced lifestyle. Outside of work, I’m into concerts, car events, camping, and catching up with friends. I enjoy hands-on projects and have a heap of tools, so I’m often tinkering with something in my spare time. I’ve got a well-trained, friendly dog named Cash who is an inside dog and great company. I’m tidy, respectful of shared spaces, and considerate of other people’s routines. I value a home that’s comfortable, well-kept, and relaxed. What I’m Looking For – Renting a Room A clean, comfortable, pet-friendly home where Cash is welcome indoors. A bedroom big enough to comfortably fit a king bed. Ideally with secure parking or nearby street parking for my two cars. Easygoing housemates who are respectful, tidy, and drama-free. A place where everyone can relax and feel at home. What I’m Looking For – Starting a New Share If teaming up to rent a place from scratch, my non-negotiables are: Garage/Workshop Space: I have two cars and will require all, or most, of the garage space for storage and workshop use (I’ve got a large collection of tools and like to work on projects). Bedroom Size: Needs to comfortably fit a king bed. Pet-Friendly: Cash lives indoors, is perfectly trained, and well-mannered. Location: Safe and convenient for both housemates, ideally near shops, public transport, and with some yard space. House Style: A decent-sized living area, outdoor space, and good natural light. Household Vibe: Friendly, respectful, clean without being overly strict, and bills always paid on time. If this sounds like your style, I’d be happy to have a chat and see if we’d be a good fit.

    Missi

    $250/week20 year old woman

Hey, I’m MJ. I’m 20 years old, and looking for somewhere for me and my dog to live. A bit abt me and Arlo: I’m doing part time Uni, and also working part time doing youth work. I do occasional tattoos every now and then aswell, so if you aren’t comfortable with me tattooing clients in the house that’s absolutely okay and I can do it elsewhere! I love the outdoors, playin music, and a good snack. Sometimes I’m a social animal, and sometimes I don’t speak to the world for a week, so looking for somewhere where it’s okay for me to hide out and just chill every now and again. I’m also apart of the queer community so I hope that isn’t a problem. I’ve had Arlo for about 5 years, and he’s a great dog. He’s extremely friendly, well trained and obedient, and I’d like to think he wouldn’t interrupt your space too much. He’s good with other pets, but there would obviously have to be an adjustment period. It’d be ideal to live somewhere where he’s welcome around the house, and the backyard so he’s not cooped up in my room all the time, as he is very social. A bit more info: I’m clean and like to respect mutual spaces. This also includes cleaning up after whatever mess my dog makes. He does this thing where he chews his toys into little bits and leaves plastic crumbs in a pile. He also shed’s a lot. So apologies in advance! I have a van, so would ideally like somewhere to park it lol. It’d be good to get to know new housemates, and create a good relationship with eachother. But if you literally just want someone you don’t have to talk to, and have your rent covered that’s chill too. Let me know if this works!
