Friendly and respectful. I tidy up after myself and I am happy to keep things quiet and keep to myself if you need it. I'm also happy to socialise with the more outgoing types, I'm flexible with people! I will be out of the house most of the time during work hours to work and study and will only be around on evenings and weekends. Not one for house parties so you can count on things being safe if you go out for a weekend or anything of the sort. I am moving from Perth to commence study and work with Siemens in Bayswater. I have never been to Melbourne so it's all new to me! I like to game and don't mind going out for the occasional social event. Looking for a place to stay while I get on my feet, may have to stick around a bit longer than 3 months but this will be a minimum!
Hi! We're looking for a female housemate. When responding to this ad, please tell us a little but about yourself, including your age, if you're studying/working (and can prove regular income), and a bit about who you are and what you're looking for in a house etc. Our house in Mitcham is spacious and features a large living area, with comfortable sofas and polished floors throughout. The house was recently renovated and has central heating. The kitchen layout is a great one with a breakfast bar and a meals area with a dining table. The kitchen has a gas cook top and wall oven, a pantry and plenty of storage cupboards and drawers. The main bathroom provides double vanity, large shower, toilet and a lovely big deep bath to soak in. With double doors opening onto the front verandah, the lounge room is large with views to the front garden and easy access to the rest of the home. With a large rear entertaining deck (3.5 x 8m approx.) we can simply sit out there and enjoy a cuppa or invite friends over for a BBQ. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the local train station, and including the walk, about 50 minutes to Flinders St station by train. Also only 5 minutes drive to Ringwood (Eastland, Costco and choice of supermarkets). Parking is free behind gate / on street parking. The house also has a remote controlled gate providing security. Utility bills (gas/electricity/water) and cable internet bills ($80/mth total) will be split evenly between house mates. We have solar power panels, so our bills are generally cheaper. Mowing & garden maintenance can be done ourselves, or we pay our friends to complete it when needed. Occupants: Hi, I'm Marie and I am 30. Hi there, I'm an easy going backpacker from the UK that will be in Melbourne for the next 6 months. I am a quiet, clean and tidy person who likes getting out and about in the great outdoors. Whether that's walking, running, cycling or just exploring the surroundings. I enjoy trying new things (whether I'm good at them or not...usually not!) I have a good sense of humour and when I'm not spending my time outdoors, you'll find me either watching some good tv, watching some bad tv or with my nose in a good book.
I am a very neat and tidy person who loves to hang out with people .Currenlty doing masters from deakin and working part-time in eastland shopping centre. I am someone who loves meeting new people and getting to know about different cultures. I am a very easy going person and an animal lover. Hi, I am a masters student studying marketing from Swinburne University. I work part time in retail. Super easy going and clean and I hope for a friendship with my housemate. Interested in almost every sport. (Mad about Manchester United) In my spare time, I attempt to go to the gym. I am always up for a chat but very considerate of personal space.
I'm Virginia, a quiet, keep-to-myself tidy type who loves TV, reading and dining out. A few notes about me and what I'm looking for: - I'm only looking for a woman of similar age to start a share house with - I'm retired so will spend time at home, as well as out with friends and appointments etc. - I'm looking to have my own defined space: my own bedroom, bathroom and living area - happy for this to be a third bedroom though. - I have a small house's worth of furniture, fridge, washer/dryer etc, happy if my housemate is the same and to compromise, keep some in the garage or shed etc if it doesn't all fit! - I have one adult daughter who's left the nest but we're close - no partner and no other family in Melbourne - I currently have no pets, but love all animals, especially dogs! I'd ideally like to get my own dog in the future so if you have pets and we find a place that is happy with them from the get-go, even better! - I would like to keep to myself mostly, but happy with some social interaction! I'm a kind, big-hearted person and a good listener who loves telling stories. - My lease is up in March so that's when I'm looking to move in the outer East or so - if you think we could get along, send me a message!

Hey everyone :) 26yo guy moved back to Melbourne after living in WA for a while. Looking for a long term room ideally in the eastern suburbs but I'm not all that fussed. Maybe interested in property rentals with a few friends if the opportunity came up. $150pw incl bills is my highest rent price. Trying to get settled with employment asap so someone who is fine with my situation is necessary. 85% sure I'm entering full time study in 2017. I'm the quiet type but in no way anti social, tend to spend most of my time between home/my parents/with friends, not a party person, enjoy the odd glass of wine here and there, and I'm an outdoor smoker. I tend to get along with everyone I meet. If I sound like someone who would fit into your household, don't hesitate to email anytime (if I'm slow to reply, that's because I didn't get an email yet letting me know I have a message). Thanks. Richard :)
So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to work each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
I work full time in banking and In my spare time I'm a powerlifter! I train early mornings so I'm usually pretty quiet especially during the week. I'm single and a non smoker. I'm tidy clean and organised. I love my own space and respectful of others. I have an indoor cat Molly, she also likes to keep to herself. I love dogs too but unfortunately other cats is not an option as Molly just doesn't get on with other cats. I'm looking to lease a place with 1 other and preferably a property with an ensuite and garage as personal space is important and I have a car.

Friendly, trustworthy and relaxed 30 yr old professional. Grew up in NZ but recently moved to Melbourne and working 40hours a week as a Surveyor in Wantirna. Very easy to live with - super chill and always clean and tidy, respectful of others space and preferences and I don't mind doing my share of the household chores. I enjoy the outdoors/hiking, gym, video games, make and listen to music, love board games and poker. I would like to adopt a rescue kitten so looking for somewhere ok with pets. I have lived with and get on well with people of all cultures and backgrounds, and have had a lot of experience living in a shared space environment. I've migrated to Melbourne from the UK, had a lot of great homes here in the past but seeking a great friendly environment to call home for at least 9 months. I look for a clean environment, fully furnished with a relaxing atmosphere. Being 33 I am very responsible as I have always kept my surroundings clean and tidy. I have respect for others privacy and property. I look forward to finding the right place to call home.
Available from March, your room comes with great privacy, it is semi-detatched from the remainder of the home with it's own designated entrance. Big enough to be used as a bedsit, you can set yourself up completely if you like with room for a Queen bed, wardrobe, desk, couch and TV. The room also has immediate access to under-house storage for even more space. In addition, common areas upstairs include kitchen (with dishwasher), laundry (with washing machine) and a spacious split level lounge serviced by ducted heating and air-con. There's also a generous backyard for lounging on sunny days with a cold beer/wine/cider/soft drink and a north facing balcony from the lounge to get some sun without the wind or insects. Lush lawn and well maintained gardens are yours to enjoy without any of the work. An east facing dark brick wall keeps the room warm in winter, and being on the lower level keeps it cool in summer. Getting around is easy with either Heatherdale or Mitcham train station being a 2-3min drive or 20 minute walk. This connects you to the newly re-developed Eastland entertainment/shopping complex or to the city for work or play. Eastlink access is also a breeze for those with a car. Very green area with lots of parks to relax in. Friendly family neighbourhood. This room is great as a crash pad when you want to relax, or as a launching pad when you want to get out and about. Sorry, couples not considered.
