Looking for an ideal place to call home for at least 6-12 months. I can provide a pet bond, and references if you need! I rise early, walk Taco, do ballet workout, shower, then head out. I'll be studying ballet in the city, an additional course, and working: hospitality, and animal rescue. We need a dog-friendly place where Taco will be treated like a member of the household. I'm training him to help take out the garbage, and German, cos he has the basics down. It'd be wonderful to cheer-up sick children in hospital, so I guess Taco will be working too haha ;p We're quiet, love having fun and sharing happiness lol I tend to do cute character voices for his amusement, so we definitely won't be ghosts, or strangers to you. However, I do enjoy my solitude - the most efficient way to get a lot of study done. Always pay rent and bills on time! Have done so for 8 years, worked since age 9. I'm ambitious, a hardworker. Only on hiatus til I find a place in Melbourne. But will definitely be back in town for meet and greets. Taco is house-trained. Pointer X. Excited to make new friends, and go on lots of adventures. We play catch, cos I'm an awesome parent, and he is so lovable you'll want to rescue every shelter dog! 💗 I take care of Taco 100% + clean as I go, all the usual stuff! I'm easy-going, enjoy good conversation, love to mess around and laugh, but who doesn't! Secure outdoor area. Private room. Anywhere 10 mins (1km) from a station is mint! If you're experienced, friendly and chill it'll be fun! Good communication✅ Boardgames? And if you're a guy, nothing weird please. Finding somewhere by June would be killer! Anything else, just ask Thanks♡☆ Luna and Taco ^_^🐾
Hello I'm Andy, I'm 23 year old professional working near La Trobe University who is respectful and mindful of a person's space. I work full-time hours during the week. I am a clean, quiet and tidy housemate. My spare time is usually spent at home gaming, watching movies/series and cooking.
Hey there, I'm a ex-kiwi, ex-Qlder, long term Melbournite recently returned from two years working in The Netherlands and travelling around Europe every chance I had. I like to swim, garden and get to the beach regularly where my family are now based. I have a 4yo dog, Billy, who keeps me moving and giggling. I’m looking to live somewhere with friendly people who like casual convos but happy to give lots of space too. I’m sometimes vegetarian and make eco-conscious choices with products & practices. A tidy house, early bill payments and live respectfully is just what I do. I have full-time permanent employment in Rosanna so ideally want a 12month lease within easy commute (but thinking even longer term). I am looking for a stable home rather than a transition house. If this sounds like a good match, I’d love to hear from you! Cheers, Katy
Started study this year can only afford up to $150 a week. Will bring own furniture and have rented before. Looking around north or east Melbourne. Room in a share house preferably. Fairly social but loves space and quiet time as well. I'm wanting to move in pretty quickly. I study full time and work almost full time hours. Message for more details :)
Hi! we are looking for a FEMALE to occupy the room. update 19th april - 1 room available in June. this place goes FAST. taking interest now.. The rental INCLUDES everything you need, all utilities etc. etc. Its not a misleading ad claiming cheaper rent and then utility bills and consumables, laundry costs etc. pile on top (and are very high usually -especially with personal airconditioning/heating costs). Neither is it a CRAMPED. STINKY CITY/CHEAP apartment. Its basically a HOUSE with a small garden (by usual aussie standards small that is). Be careful about other ads "too good to be true" - Melbourne is one of the worlds most expensive cities to live in and we're making that part easy and affordable for you in return for the right type of person to share it with us. We hear this story from all who have stayed with us. Each room is fully airconditioned AND heated with personal controls, and ALL amenities available. Modern, fully furnished, awesome cupboard with shoe rack and hangers, desk, PC/Laptop, printer/fax/scanner etc. also available. Pay TV in room and Alexa and google chromecast as well as HAYU (all the trash TV in the world you knew you never wanted) - All this is included in rent. Its like a 5 star hotel room only you serve yourself! Bathroom has a separate bathtub and the toilet is a separate room from bathroom! Big mirror and shelves etc. see photo. Theres 3 full bathrooms with showers. The 3rd bathroom is downstairs so you can share the upstairs bathroom with 1 other, and theres plenty of space for storage of cosmetics etc or use the downstairs one. Parking outside is plenty and free, safe. and easy to access. The best cafes, restaurants, beauty salons, bakery, coles, aldi, chemist warehouse, and 2x 24 hour fitness first/gyms are all a 5 min walk. Heidelberg Station (zone 1) AND Rosanna train stations are a 15/10 min walk too, and the express train gets you into the CBD in 12 minutes. Leafy parks are within walking distance (10 mins walk, and bike riding distance 2 mins, you can use my bike). Bus transport also very very close. Car-wise its pretty good travelling too! We have two adorable puppies who are kept nearly obsessively clean, fully house trained and trimmed (allergy free) - "model" dogs and while we are away, they usually have several people who want to look after them offsite, so don't worry about looking after if youre not used to it, they're very well loved by everyone around us, but they will make you love them! We usually meet up for a coffee in burgundy street. then go to inspect the property. If you are overseas, we can skype, viber, or whatsapp. We're not desperate on having just anybody come in - but we're really easygoing and prefer people who we can get along with and be comfortable around. If we don't respond its likely because your profile is either incomplete or I think you'll be wasting your time as your profile doesn't match what we're seeking in a housie. If you're an expert in winning blackjack/poker or billiards/table tennis its a bonus :) We provide everything: high speed internet, bed sheets, towels, toilet paper, even playing chips for blackjack and it wont cost you extra like other places! if you lose in blackjack, then i'll even throw in a tissue box. hehehee hope to hear from you soon! cheers! Kris and Ant
I have a massive dog who is very cuddly and got anxiety... the more people we have around would be great for him... he also needs a big backyard to play with and secured fence because of his anxiety. Else we are very friendly people who likes some relax time and chill with a few drinks during the weekend
Hey Guys :) I'm From Switzerland and I'll do an internship in Melbourne (Thomastown) for nine months as a wood engineer. I'm looking for a nice sharehouse between Thomastown and Melbourne city for at least 8 months. I'm easy going and love travelling and any kind of sports etc... especially surfing :) Also I like to socialise and share some good food and a glas of wine!
Hello :) I am an Art/English teacher. I have moved back from Brisbane about a month ago..so ideally I would like to move in fairly soon. I have a very sweet, gentle natured, calm and toilet trained poodle by the name of Winston. He is very attached to me so he wouldn't really bother anyone as he is my shadow. He doesn't shed any fur. I am very bubbly, clean and organised person who likes other like minded people. I like the usual things such as; wine and cheese, socialising with friends and sometimes with housemates. But I mainly do my own thing and go out with my friends quite often. So basically between work at 7am-5pm and my social life, I won't be home for more than half of the week. However, I usually take my dog with me, except working hours. This doesn't mean that I will use the house like a hotel either. I just have a very active life :) I would like to share a house with 27+ - 40 year old people (male or female). I would prefer to be in a bigger household as there is more fun to be had in a bigger space. Looking forward to hearing from you! Esin :)
I am friendly and easy going, work Full Time, Mon-Fri. Currently sharing an apartment in Hawthorn close to Swinburne University but need to find a new place due to change in my housemates circumstances. I would like to start a new lease or move into an existing share house offering a private room in Hawthorn. I prefer to meetup in person for a coffee to discuss further.
Hey there. I am a full-time Uni student/part-time waitress looking for a room around Bundoora and surrounding suburbs. I am a neat and respectful housemate, I pay my bills and can provide references. I have a small dog, he's quiet, friendly and good with other animals including cats. I am looking for a furnished room - actually, just a bed and fridge to share would be great!
Hey guys, my name is Kimberley and I'm interested in joining someone on a lease to get this apartment! I fell in love with this apartment the moment I laid eyes on it. It is a 2 bedroom + 2 bathroom apartment located on Burgundy Street. Less than 10 mins walk to the train station, and Austin Hospital is just up the road. Not to mention that supermarkets and cafes are literally right on your doorstep! It has an upstairs entertainment area with BBQ facilities as well as a large balcony to sip tea as you watch the sun set. I'm a full-time computer science student, part-time pool lifeguard. (If you ever need cpr, I got yo back) I enjoy cooking, binge watching new tv series and making new friends. I am very self-aware and pick up after myself. I can be your friend or simply just your housemate. All I ask is that we could be friendly faces around the house and not having to be hesitant when leaving the room. Although having a friend to go for brunch with sounds awesome, I can total respect your wishes! :) Also, I am looking to live with someone who is okay with my bf staying over part of the week as we alternate places. We are likeminded people so definitely no drama there. :) The rent is $450 per week for the entire apartment. And bond is $2,855. I look forward to hearing from you!
Great little two level town house on the edge of Heidelberg and Eaglemont. 5min walk to Heidelberg train station and Burgundy st shops. 1 car park spot so we can alternate but there is more free parking at the back of the property. The house is fully furnished with appliances and has one bathroom but has another toilet downstairs. The room you will have is medium sized with a double door wardrobe and a big balcony that has a great view. It has a queen sized bed frame for $150 from my old housemate if you are interested, otherwise she'll sell it when she goes. The rent is always paid 1 month in advance + bills (gas and electricity) - our water is free! - woo!
I am a Patient Transport Officer (non-emergency Ambulance Officer) and am seeking 'granny flat' accommodation. Requiring furnished 'self contained accommodation' rather than sharing. The house where my current 'granny flat' is situated has been sold and I require new accommodation by mid April at he latest. A 57 yo divorced 'gentleman' who has been a home owner in the past and is clean living, quiet and respectful. Dogs seem to love me too and after all they are true judges of character ;) Michael
I’m a apprentice hairdresser, I’m a country girl from NSW, moved here for work. Bubbly, easy going and a good laugh are what I’ve been described as. Generally clean and tidy, I like to relax but also enjoy good banter. Looking for something around the middle of may as that’s when my lease runs out. Preferably around my age but not fussy. Close to public transport would be very convenient.
Hi there. My name is emma, I’m 28 and I have 2 part time jobs as a social worker & nanny as well as volunteering as a tutor. Im currently looking for a room in bundoora or surrounding suburbs, as that is where i work. I can also provide references to show that i have a great rental history and that I am a friendly, clean, reliable, respectful and easy going person to live with. The thing is that I also have a tiny puppy who is Maltese/ chihuahua and smaller than most cats haha. He is well behaved and he’s ridiculously cute, plus he would be sticking by me most of the time, and I can take him to work with me most days if need be as well... so he wouldn’t get in anyone’s way. And obviously i would always ensure that his presence in the house wouldn't cause any mess, or cause any disturbance or inconvenience to the other housemates. So with all of that said.. If you have a room for rent and your open to discussing it further, feel free to send me a message and we can go from there. Cheers, Emma :)
We are a couple moving back to Australia from NZ on the 30th of April with our pet cat Ninja who is neutered and housetrained. We are easy going, open minded people who love to get out and enjoy life. Also not massive party animals but don’t mind the odd drink now and again.
Hey I'm Lena, 26 and work full time in the CBD. I'm looking for a new place to live in the areas listed and surrounding areas- I'm pretty flexible on where I live as long as I have access to public transport and it's safe! I'm flexible with furniture but if there's a bed available that would be a bonus. I plan to stay 6-12months or longer as I have no plans to move around again in the forseeable future. I've had plenty of experience living in shared accommodation including staff accommodation with complete strangers so I can easily adapt and I am pretty easy going. I know how to clean up after myself and respect the privacy of others and always pay rent and bills on time. I like my 'me' time but enjoy coming together with housemates for a movie/games night or just dinner or drinks. I would hope to live with people that will become friends rather than just a housemate. A party house really isn't my thing and I expect anyone I share with to have respect and consideration for others just as the same would be expected from me. I'm a pretty quiet person and love to read, go to art galleries, binge watch netflix, spend too much money at kmart, attempt baking when inspired (usually at Christmas time), wander around the city, laze around listening to music and petting all dogs. I don't have any but I am totally open to pets and would love them like my own! Send me a message if you think I could be a potential housemate/friend!
A good size bedroom (3 m x 4 m) in a 2 bedroom flat for share. The place is bright, clean and fully furnished. Central bathroom with separate bath and shower. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The bedroom is fully furnished with queen size bed and mattress, bedside drawer, wardrobe, study desk and chair. A green view from the backyard is a bonus for the room. The flat is about 16 minutes walking to either Heidelberg and Rosanna Station, Austin and Mercy Hospital, IHNA; 10 minutes walking to ETEA. It takes about 4 minutes to get to these places by taking 513 bus, of which stop is 2 minutes from the flat. It is just minutes away from the shopping centre, cafes and restaurants. It is also within close proximity to the park and endless bike and walking tracks. We have an extra bike available to you if you need one.
Super friendly, very respectful and considerate, quite easy going and chill, always carrying a positive vibe, professional gamer, interested in every aspect and field of life and love exploring it, keen observer. I'm improving everyday✌🏼
