Hi Guys, have a room to rent in a quiet 3 bedroom apartment. Within an older apartment block, so the size of the rooms are great. Two minute walk from closest train station and situated in a nice and quiet suburb. The apartment is fully furnished at the moment, but always can change things around.
Originally from the great ocean road, I've been living in Melbourne for 3 years now. Part- time radiography student, part-time hotel receptionist. Non-smoker, no pets but so open to a household that already has some furry occupants! Relatively quiet during the week, enjoy my own time and space but want to find a house that feels like a home with people who are open to spending time together and sharing meals once in a while. I am definitely a very social person so would like housemates who are interested in being friends rather than just living together! Would prefer to be in a 3 bedroom sharehouse or larger. Will need a place that can offer parking (happy to get a permit if necessary).
Hey! I’m Caity and I’m moving to Melbourne end of January! I’m looking for 6 months with potential to stay indefinitely if I like it. I’m a pretty flexible housemate and tend to match my style to the people I live with. I keep communal areas clean & tidy but am not going to nag you if you leave the dishes for a day or two. I’m a bit of a workaholic but enjoy my downtime over a glass of wine, baking, going to the beach/for a hike, or spending my days off watching Netflix. And I’m always down for a night out! I am after my own (unfurnished) room, preferably in a furnished house. I’d prefer my own bathroom but happy to share. I also bake cupcakes and cookies and you are more than welcome to help me eat them! Messages on here or text only please! (:
I am a Swiss professional that recently moved to Melbourne and am working in business consulting. I have previous experience living in a shared flat, am reliable, pay my bills on time, I am reasonably clean (home trained by previous relationships…), outgoing, sociable and open minded. In my free time I like to be active and do a lot of sports, go to the gym, for a run, skiing in winter, possibly surfing in summer and am already pretty addicted to AFL. Nevertheless, I sometimes enjoy as well my down time. On the weekends I like to go for a drink or two, hunt for the latest craft beers or find other reasons to be out and about. I am looking for a flat with like-minded and independent people that don’t mind to as well sometimes share a drink or two. As a timeframe I preferably look for an option for at least 6/12 months
I’m an Australian girl who has just return from living in the UK and looking to settle in Melbourne. I am friendly, relaxed, outgoing, clean, social but also like time to myself. I am looking to make some new friends in this place I’ll call home! I am open to any area of Melbourne and the outskirts, but have been mainly recommended to look Richmond. I am very approachable and would love you to send me a message if your interested! Can't wait to hear from you.
Hello! I am a new PhD student of Swinburne Uni. I am a calm, easy-going, and tidy person. Looking for a quiet place where I can relax and have some peace. I’m keen to meet and live with completely new people.
Hi! I'm Shanti and I work full time in Residential Project Marketing in the CBD, originally from Brisbane but have loved calling Melbourne home for 5 years now. I enjoy being social, but equally enjoy my own space and relaxing. On the weekends you'll find me at a restaurant/bar with some friends, binge watching netflix or escaping Melbs for a mini break. Clean and know how to share a space with others after years of share housing… hoping to find some like-minded people to call friends as well as housemates!
Chris is a student studying Computer Science in Melbourne and is working full time as part of his degree in 2019. Originally from Far North Queensland Chris has moved to study in Melbourne. After completing one on campus year and one year living in a tiny studio apartment, he's looking for a decent kitchen and a real fridge first and foremost. Generally keeps up with the uni activities and is pretty active on campus with events and clubs. Sociable and forms good relationships with roommates. Has a car and will need to park it somewhere. Also needs a desk to setup a productive working space. Chris would also prefer to have a furnished apartment, but would also be flexible.
Hey there, my name is Brianna (or Bree to my friends) and I'm a 19 year old girl moving to Melbourne in February. I currently live in Gippsland and working as a lifeguard for my local council pools. Next year I'll begin studying International Development at ACU, hence the big move. I took this year off to work so that I could spend as much time travelling as possible. I spend very little time at home as I'm always out on my next adventure, even if that's only down to the local Kmart! I enjoy socialising, will always be up for a chat, a drink or an adventure, but I do also really value time to myself. I'm looking for some housemates to rent a house in the Northern or Eastern suburbs of Melbourne from February onwards. My budget is flexible but I'm not looking to spend any more than $200 a week. I would be happy to either team up with some girls who are looking in the same area as me or move into a room someone has available. If you'd like to get in contact with me a little easier, email me
I am coming back from an exchange in Amsterdam and I need a new place to live while I complete my final year of university! I am studying sustainability and environmental management at Deakin, Burwood. I had a casual job at McDonalds which I'm sure I will be able to get back, but if not, my centrelink payments and savings are more than enough to pay for my rent until I find a new one. I have lived in three different share houses since moving out at 18 and have always paid my rent on time. I am a very organised and clean person and I would like to share a house with just one, two or perhaps three housemates that also know how to clean up after themselves. I also have a pet snake, I always keep her enclosure in my room. I know that not everyone is comfortable with the idea of living with a snake, and if so I promise you will never have to see her.
Hey future flatmate! I’m a student at Swinburne and looking for a place to rent from mid February. I don’t drive or have a car so I’d like a place near a train station and I wouldn’t worry about the car parking space! Doing engineering (Book nerd I guess??? 😅) and super quiet. You wouldn’t even know I’m in the house. Very neat and even more organised (teensy bit OCD?) Would love to have someone to have a chat once in a while (that’s why I’m looking for a shared house rather than living by myself and end up being a cat lady in the future). I’ve been living in Melbourne for 3 years now aaand have been renting places this whole time! Hit me up if you think I’d make a great house mate (or should I say flatmate???) Umanga xxx

Heya! I'm an eighteen year old looking to move to the Melbourne CBD's surrounding suburbs (from rural South Gippsland) in order to study. Myself and my friend Ciara (whom shares an almost identical background to myself) are relaxed and easy going individuals more than happy to lend a helping hand or have a laugh at any given moment. We are organised, charismatic and accountable :)
Hi all, My name is Ashley, I am a 28 year old counsellor doing my Master of Professional Psychology part time. I am looking for 2 friendly girls to live with in a sharehouse long-term. I am tidy and easy to get along with, but also enjoy my own space and respect other's privacy. Looking for a quiet place where I can relax and have some peace, but also have a good chat and share the odd glass of wine or meal with housemates. I'm a pretty easy going gal, i like to go out on the weekends and i'm also pretty social during the week. I like spending time around my house and decorating. I really enjoy making a space a home, cooking for my flatmates (if they like what i eat - im pretty clean, with the occasional pizza) and Id prefer to live with people who like to chat (not all the time, i wont badger you!) and want to spend some time together watching TV and joining friends. I'm new to the state so am looking to make and expand connections with people. Ive also travelled a fair bit and im always up for an adventure when im not at work. I graduated this year from a university in the UK but i am also part australian, being brought up in SA.
Hey! I'm Jayden. I'm currently 20 turning 21 in January and work full time as a 2IC manager at a sneaker store in the CBD. I collect shoes (30 pairs currently TRYING to thin that down), DJ, Produce (i love most genres) and love games. I'm always down for a good coffee and lunch.
