Hi guys, I'm a 23yr old nurse, working full time at Monash Children's Hospital. I'm looking to move into a new place as I say goodbye to my current flat. I'm originally from country NSW and moved to Melbs to attend boarding school. I'm super independent, organised & clean (almost OCD), having lived out of home since a young age. I'm a really great cook, and bake practically whenever I am bored. I live a pretty healthy lifestyle by going to the gym(Kaya on Chapel st) and eating well. However, I have a massive sweet tooth and will cave for anything tsweet. I love to entertain and enjoy having friends over for dinner and drinks. I'm incredibly social, and like to hit the town on weekends when I'm not working. I'm not home all that often due to working shift work and also catching up with friends during the week. In winter, i spend most of my time at the MCG cheering on the Bombers and in summer, I spend a lot of time at our beach house in Anglesea. You'd be welcome too! I'm looking to move in with people who are ultimately very fun & social, happy to entertain, share a bottle of wine with, share a meal here and there and who love watching netflix. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hey there! I'm Chloe, 22, originally from Tassie - been renting in Melbourne for over 3 years now. Have just graduated from uni with a bachelor of business :) I am tidy, reliable, and always down for a good chit chat. I love to cook. I am considerate and respectful of others and their things. I love music and going out to gigs. I have a bit of furniture etc that I have collected over the years that I am happy to share with my future flatmates – open to the idea of team-ups.
I am reliable, easy going and very tidy. Happy keeping to myself but do enjoy having a couple of drinks, sharing meals and having a good chin wag with my fellow housemates. Looking for a room for myself and my fluffy cat, Doagy. I am a vet nursing student so rest assured, I clean up after my cat and she won't be any bother. In my spare time I enjoy watching bad movies, drinking warm beer and going out to see live music. Not too fussy on location, would like to be based towards the city if possible. As long as I can drive to my jobs/school (located in Ringwood, Fairfield and Bayswater) within an hour then I'm happy. Wanting to move A.S.A.P. If you would like to know more about me or if you potentially have somewhere for me to live, please send me a message.
25 year old accountant from South Africa, recent arrival to Australia on a working holiday visa, looking to meet some decent people. Preferably looking for a one bedroom or studio flat, clean and will respect fellow flat mates privacy.
I am really easy going, super tidy and I am looking for somewhere I can call home rather than somewhere I'm renting. I love to meet new people and I am very approachable. I have an active healthy lifestyle and try and eat well ...... just dont put biscuits near me or thats it! Im the type of girl who'l put the kettle on when your having a bad day and listen to it all :) I like all kinds of music ...just not that heavy metal ish... and love a good car karaoke (think more smelly cat than mariah carey). I love exploring new places and enjoy a good road trip, I am looking at living with single gals ideally :) I will be looking to move to Melbs 4th august onwards from Brisbane, I have a full time job in the city as a consultant :) Please note- Only interested in living with females Not interested in sharing with a couple Not interested in sharing a room Not interested in student housing Thank you :)
I'm a really easy going, down to earth person looking for somewhere to live while I try and figure out what to do with my life whilst working somewhere between part and full time. I am a respectful housemate who understands that a balance between alone time and roommate fun is necessary for a harmonious, happy house! I would love a room in a house with some other like minded individuals who I can share a wine, beer or pretty much any alcoholic beverage with from time to time and have a laugh with at the end of a long day! I can often be found either lounging in trackies in front of the tv with a cup of tea or lounging in front of the tv with a ripper hangover. I'm a lot of fun to be around but also like to be a hermit every now and again. I would love to hear from you if you think A) we could get along or B) you could at least tolerate me!
Hey! I'm a chilean guy living in melbourne for more then 16 months. I'm currently studying commercial cookery and working in a lovely cafe in Hawthorn. I consider myself a really reliable and easy going person. Not fussy at all and very respectful about living with others. I'm clean, tidy and orginised. If I am not working I love to spend a lot of my time at gym. I'm a healthy person, trying to maintain as much fit as I can and I'm quite active. Even when I love to watch movies and stay at home, I much rather prefer to going out for dinner, meet new people and try not to stay most of my day at home. I'm vegetarian, love cook dinner and chatting.
28 years old grew up in Melbourne, but have lived overseas since I was 19, have just returned and bit over a month ago, currently in a short term sublet and now looking for a new place to call home from end August/. Ive always paid my rent and bills in time, and tidy and respectful of everyone I have lived with. Im not looking for a party house , but for sure im up for some social beers at home and at the pub, plus I love my sport so always up for going to match’s and would for sure be up for getting involved in things with the house, I also like going to the gym a couple of times a week. I also love playing some FIFA with my current & previous housemates, . My main job has been in major musicals around the world, currently Performing in Jesus Chirst Super Star at the arts center for till mid August, then back to working 9-5 in the CBD till the end of the year. I have a car so need a car park or a parking permit etc. But would be up for doing shopping runs for the house! Im really looking for some sort of Creative house, but open to other things as well. Looking for a approx 6 month ish contract, but also flexible with that. thanks and looking forward to hearing from you! Alex

Hiya!! We are a couple in our late 20's moving to Melbourne at the end of September from Auckland, New Zealand. We are looking for a nice room/home to rent when we first arrive. Ideally for the first 1-2 months while we find something permanent but would consider something more long term if it worked out!! We are both pretty chilled, very considerate, super clean and tidy and pay rent and bills on time. We have been to Melbourne a couple of times but are looking forward to really getting to know what Melbourne has to offer!! I (Jamie) will be starting a new job with a company in South Melbourne, working full time Mon-Fri, Thomas is a musician/producer/DJ and has a few things lined up when we first arrive but given his line of work his working hours are flexible. We are looking for more of a home vibe rather than a party flat but do enjoy a glass of red wine and good chats!! (and we are both animal lovers if you have a furry addition). During the week we are pretty quiet with work, the gym and chilling at home. In the weekends we love going out for meals, heading to the beach and when we move exploring our new city!! Ideally it would be great to be near public transport so we can find our way around when we first arrive before we buy a car. Any questions just let us know!! Thanks:)
Hello there potential flatmates of Melbournia, I am a full time young professional who will keep the fridge stocked with hummus. I've been living in the heart of the city for quite some time now but as anyone who has lived in the city knows...you must work to live. So I am ready to move out of the hustle and bustle and into the outer suburbs. As a flatmate you can expect Netflix marathons, a bit of a laugh and someone to go out for coffee with. If I sound like a good fit for you feel free to message me!
Hi, my name is Lissa and I will be in Melbourne for student exchange from the end of July until midth of November. I am half japanese, half german and currently living in Munich, Germany. I would describe myself a social person, who loves to have a chat while having a drink, but I also respect other's private time and space. I love food and sports, so if you are looking for someone to test new restaurants or sports with, I will be pleased to join! :)
Hi, I am Ben. I will be commencing uni on 9 October at Monash clayton campus. Looking for a bus that goes to Monash Clayton. Will be spending most of my time studying, but don't mind going out for a meal or drink occasionally. I am a tidy and quiet person so I won't make much of a noise in the house. But, I am also quite chatty when we get to know each other better. Will pay my rent on time. Will be looking for a room to myself, no sharing of room. Not looking for a party house. Look forward to your message or queries :)
Hi, I'm Rob, 29, Currently studying Project Management at Swinburne and working part time in the sports and events industries. Outside of work and study I'm quite active and try to get out mountain biking on most days. I'm clean, respectful of others and financially reliable Love animal's so that would be a bonus if you had any :)
I'm a Southern Californian native born and raised, have the greenest of thumbs, and the literal definition of a jack of all trades. Ain't nothin I can't do! Got my BA in Radio, TV, and Film, owned my own business for a while before moving to Japan for 4 years to teach English. I love-love-LOVE languages. Aspiring to be a true polyglot. I'm currently a bartender and I LOVE it (my one cool trick is pouring rainbow shots, so heeeeey), and I'm on a work and holiday visa for the foreseeable year (get into Melbourne on August 10th). Looking to find someplace to call home, not do the backpacker thing. I'd love to stay long term somewhere, just put in 3 months to give me wiggle room for snatching up a job. I'm no stranger to the city, spent a few weeks there in the summer about 3 years ago. LOVE it. As a Californian, I know all about fire season and droughts, so no worry about being Eco-conscious here! I'm clean, organized, and very self-aware. I highly respect quiet and alone time, but love a few beers and a night out, or sharing a home-cooked meal (I like to bake...I hope you like to eat). My go-go dancing days in Osaka might be behind me but I still know how to have fun, whether in a group dynamic or by myself. If you wanna settle in for a movie night or board games I'm SO there! I've just learned how to make a mean egg foo young, and my butt has a costco card so heeeeeey ya'll live-in bartender with perks here! :D **My one caveat for full-disclosure: I haven't entered the country yet so I'll be coming in without a job (obviously, though I'm working on that on this end) but I'm bringing enough cash with me to give me wiggle room while I look (we're fine and dandy for a while folks!) but I'm hoping to find full-time employment either bartending... or just anywhere to make a wage! :D I -am- concerned about signing longer leases (just planning for the worst) in case it's impossible to find employment and I have to credit-card a plane ticket back home like a failure-face. Though if I hit the pavement running then that shouldn't be a problem! Just wanted to get that out there, I don't feel cool not disclosing that :) Ideally I'd like to spend my entire visa year in one place to call home :) -Need a place with internet -Private, furnished room -Short stay (~4 weeks) with room to increase stay (I shouldn't sign a longer lease if I can't find employment first, right? :D Hell if you know a place hiring then I'm down to sign a year lease!) I've been around, held all kinds of jobs, have all kinds of hobbies, and love all kinds of people. I'm animal-friendly and super easy-going; also open to more places than those general suburbs I've listed, and willing to pay more on rent if bills and internet are included, just an FYI. :) If you think we'd get along then I'd love to be your housemate! :) Any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask! I'm an open book :)
Hi there, I am seeking a new home! I work 9-5 during the week in HR. Usually have pretty low key weekdays, yoga/ gym or dinner with friends. I like exploring coastal tracks on the weekend, the odd event, party or a couple of drinks out and about in Melbourne. Originally from Perth, have been in Melbourne 2.5 years now. I am easy to live with, social, non-smoker and very clean.
Hey. My name's Will and i'm looking for a new home. A few things about myself. I'm clean, respectful and polite. I'm always up for a chat or a bite to eat in town. I can cook. I like listening to music and reading. I'll have a glass of wine every few nights and a beer here and there. I'm not big drinker. I'm studying Science at Swinburne. And I work in hospitality part time. Please don't hesitate to contact me for further information. Have a nice day!
Hey there future housemates! I'm Charli- a 21 year old vego looking for a new place to call home. I'm working full time now after studying plant bio/linguistics at uni for a couple of years. Working and studying was way too hectic for me so I'm putting the degree on pause for a little bit. I work at Dangerfield (which of course means I have a groovy wardrobe you can share, as well as a mammoth CD/book collection, if we're talking about cool things you might like to borrow. I also come with fancy pots and pans, a bright yellow toaster, a guitar, an easel and a PS4, a big beanbag, among other things). Also, I've lived out of home for over a year now, so I have a rental history and all that jazz. When I'm not working, you can usually find me seeing local bands (Old Bar, anyone?), perusing market stalls, playing guitar and singing (badly-ish), embroidering, binge watching TV shows (any it's always sunny fans?), or cooking up a storm in the kitchen (if there are other mouths to feed, that is. I won't lie, I definitely eat mi goreng and chocolate for dinner sometimes). I'm a super hygienic person so I'd really like to find housemates who like living in a clean house. Like, if you need a cleaning roster to remind you to wipe down the benches we probably won't get along haha. I like buying fresh flowers and having pretty tea towels and nice teas on display, so I'd love to live with people who get around that. I'm by no means a neat freak, creative chaos is good from time to time, but I want my house to feel like a home <3 I really want to be living with people who I can hang out with from time to time, too. We don't have to be best buddies, but I'd really appreciate having people to jam with, cook/bake for sometimes, or just watch stand up on netflix with over a cocktail or a nice cider. Not opposed to singstar competitions/karaoke. I'd really like to be living within walking distance to one of the train stations I've mentioned in my profile, too. Convenient public transport is a big priority for me. I'd also like to live reasonably close to a grocery store if that's not asking too much. I think that about covers everything! If you have any questions, or more importantly think I'd be a good fit in your home, please don't hesitate to send me a message! xx
