Hey hey! I'm Nesceda, and I'm currently studying theatre and performance at Monash Uni in Clayton. I'm potentially looking to move somewhere in 2018 in order to be closer to university, and closer to the CBD as I spend quite a bit of time out at shows, rehearsals, and also work casually at Athenaeum Theatre. My other occupation is once a week near where I currently live (Essendon), as a venue manager for Australian Girls Choir. I'm very independent and self-sufficient, and enjoy spending time alone. However, I'm always up for a laugh, philosophical chat or Netflix binge. I'm good with housework too, and like to keep things neat and tidy. I'm guaranteed to contribute by responding with bad dad jokes and always being available to give advice. I'd prefer to stay with people close-ish in age to myself. Not a massive party animal, but do appreciate a good time and good company.
This accommodation is located in a quiet, neighbourly, safe street in leafy Toorak. It offers prime access to various modes of public transport and is walking distance to nearby suburbs including Richmond, Prahran and South Yarra. Toorak Village and popular Como Park are both a 3 minute walk away. The apartment is modern, well maintained and very tidy and the spacious, well-lit, bedroom comes with city view. The apartment contains central heating, laundry facilities, car space and large storage area (in garage). Off and on street parking is readily available. Rent is extremely reasonable and bills are shared. Excellent internet access and cool apartment balcony. Ideal for someone looking to live in a fantastic location. No min or max stay. Move in date negotiable/flexible.
Hi i'm new to Melbourne! I'm a Perth girl who's working full-time as a flight attendant so most of the week i'm usually away on work trips. Hello potential housemates, I'm looking for accomodation in Melbourne from the 8th of July onwards as my current lease in not being renewed. I'm currently studying a master's degree in Clinical Audiology at the University of Melbourne. Originally from Sydney but lived in Adelaide for 2015 and have lived in share-accomdation/ with house-mates for well over 5 years and understand the importance of living with like-minded legends. Open to living with either males or females and have done both in the past four years so am comfortable living with a pretty wide range of people. Will be studying and at uni fairly frequently so not likely to be a particularly loud housemate but still love a couple of drinks on the weekend and enjoy being social. Already living in the South Yarra area so can't see moving being much of a problem. Open to a teamup or share-house so feel free to let me know If you think I might be a good fit.
Hey everyone, I’m relocating to Melbourne soon- and would love start a sharehouse or move in with some chilled-out, open-minded people! (move date is flexible for the right people) It’d be good to move in with people who I’m on the same page as- however we don’t need to have identical personalities, since most of my friends are very different from me and I like diversity anyway. :) I respect people’s need for space as I often require my own, however I’m also really social and would love to be living with someone who I can also hang out with- which would be the most comfortable and ideal setting for a home. As for my (personal) interests, I adore music and all things fiction- books, movies, TV and comics are what my hobbies revolve around… and my other interests revolve around socializing, live music and similar events. I’m very open to new things and people, and would love to hear from you guys- don’t be shy to swing me a message! :) (Note: my preferred suburbs and move date just close estimates and are flexible.)
I'm a born Melbournian, worldly travelled, which I love...and enjoy the outdoors and keeping fit. I have my own business and am very busy during the week. I am looking for a housemate/s who seeks a little company at night, wine or meal together, but also busy with their own life and career etc. I am clean ( prob a little too much ), respectful, happy to cook and share the household chores. I am social, love to laugh, and enjoy a good time on the weekends. Looking for someone like minded.
Beautiful little house on a quiet street. House is open plan, floorboards throughout, carpet in bedrooms. Super close to Hawksburn village, with supermarkets, cafes, etc. 8 min walk to both Toorak station and Hawksburn station as we are pretty much in the middle. 2 min walk to Malven road and the 72 tram. Round about 15min walk to Chapel street so easy stumble home. House has heating/aircon, cute fireplace and little courtyard out back. House is furnished, room is unfurnished. If you do have some furniture we can consider it as we are in the middle of replacing a few items the previous housemate is taking. New person will need to go on the lease, lease finishes next Feb.
Hello :) I'm Becca I'm 25 and from the UK and work as a recruitment consultant in the CBD. Currently living in southbank and have been for about a year now, looking to find a new place in the South Yarra, Prahran, Toorak area. There is just zero going on where I am, its extremely convenient for work but pretty boring! :) I'm from the UK but have been here for about 2 years, work full time and sponsored :) I'm pretty chilled in the week and am a big gym goer so try to be pretty good when I can Monday to Friday! I'm very neat and tidy and social and enjoy a glass of wine and heading out on the weekends somewhere but Monday to Friday I would say I'm pretty chilled and like my downtime and space too due to my job being quite stressful! Ideally looking for a team up with female/s that are similar age to me and are keen on those locations!! Message me if you want to know anything else! :) xx
Hi There, Currently looking to move to Port Melbourne or closer to the area, as my work is based here. I currently work full time for a Fashion Company during the day. I'm in the mid 20's, enjoy my social life and enjoy catching up with friends for brunches, activities and all that fun! I also do enjoy my own down time. Im quite easy going, and easy to get along with, Im hoping to find some housemates that enjoy a chat, and get along, rather than being just an acquaintance. You can also trust that I'm respectful , neat and tidy! :)
Hey all My girlfriend and I are looking for a room in an established house. We are both Irish. I am an Environmental Scientist and Rachel is a Teacher. We have both been sharing houses with friends and strangers for years now so I reckon we have good house etiquette. We are social people; we enjoy going out for dinner or for drinks but don't go mental student style anymore (only once in a while!). We both love going to festivals and gigs; a bita house, indie, electronic or brass would be our cup of tea. Reckon we are clean living sorts. We try to eat well and exercise. Rachel loves yoga and I rock climb as much as possible. We are both born and bred country people and love nothing more than getting out of the city and going hiking or just chilling on a beach. If we happened to get a house with a garden we would be out growing what ever we can. I'm in Melbourne already Rachel wont arrive until the start of July as she has to see out the school year in Ireland before she comes over. If you want to know anything else about us send me a message. Thanks all.
Hi everybody! We are an Italian couple looking for a 2 or 3 bedrooms house from the 1st of July! We work in Chadstone shopping center at the moment, so we would like to live around here but not so far from the city. We are very responsible and clean persons, we can provide references if needed. We would like a multi bedroom haouse because our families could come to visit us. We can confirm 1 year at the moment. Thank you so much! Grazia and Waheed
Usted to sharing, quiet, clean and friendly.
Born and raised in Bangalore. Moving to melbourne to do my masters in Monash. I hope to gain a lot of experience in and off campus. I am an easy going and fun loving person, but at the same time I like my space. I'm a bit of a clean freak, I like to keep everything in order. I'm open to new things and I'm looking forward to have some great adventures during my stay.
Hi, I am looking to team up with someone, preferably female (my current residence is going up for sale). I will be looking in Toorak, Aramadale, South Yarra, Prahran, Malvern area. I would also be very interested in signing a lease together for a new place if we are suited. I work 9am-5pm Monday to Friday in the cbd. I am quiet, clean, respectful, I occasionally go out for drinks or dinner on the weekends, I travel to QLD a few times a year to holiday and visit family. Ideally I would like a home where we are both comfortable going about our day to day routines. If you think we would be a good match or I would fit well into your household please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you, Bianca
Hey guys, Looking for a place for me and my fat, cuddly cat called Trips. I'll be moving to Melbourne from Brisbane around mid-July to start my Masters of International Sustainable Tourism Management at Monash (Caulfield campus) so move-in date would be anytime between 10th and 20th of July. I'm super laid back and sociable, but can also really enjoy some personal time. I'm an Indonesian-Australian who grew up in France/Switzerland and love meeting people from all over. Looking for housemates that enjoy sharing a meal, a beer or a glass of wine (or three) from time to time and who can spark up interesting conversation! I'll be new to the area, so would definitely appreciate living with people that are easy to get along with and happy to show me around a bit. Bonus points if you're a fan of furry creatures and would be happy to give Trips a cuddle/feed if I'm home late from work or uni. My room is usually a beautiful mess but I like to keep/see common areas clean and cosy. Also looking for a room that's furnished with a bed and a wardrobe as I'll just be coming with a couple of suitcases. Send me a message if you think we'd get along! X
Excellent, spacious and modern apartment in the heart of Toorak Village. Very conveniently located with a shopping centre directly opposite with Woolworths, pharmacy, etc. There tram to the City stops right outside also and it is just a 2 minute ride to South Yarra, where there is a train station also. The room available is clean, modern and spacious with a large private balcony, en-suite bathroom with a large shower and all furniture included including double bed, bedside tables, lamp and large built-in wardrobe. There is a brand new AC unit fitted also.
Hi there, My name is Mix, a 20 years old boy. I'm a university student, major in architecture. Anyway, I come to Melbourne for taking an architecture courses during my university summer holiday! As a housemate I'm a pretty relaxed and easy going person, who likes to chill out plus I'm tidy, clean, and respectful. One of my hobbies is taking photos but if I have a lot of free time, I always be active (running, rugby, cycling), play piano, explore local exhibitions, enjoy a good cafe and I love cooking sooo much, especially Thai food!!! I'm also an animal lover so that would not be a problem at all :) Send me a message if you think we'd get along! Cheers,
Hi My name's Gizelle. I'll be moving to Melbourne early June to study and work. Ideally I would like to find someone to team up with a rent as it seams to be a bit cheaper than just renting a room but I'm open to offers. I'm hoping to move into a place with someone that I get along with really well and will consider a friend more than a house mate. I'm new to Melbourne and would love if I could find someone to show me the ropes a little bit. Feel free to text or message me Thanks ☺
Hi, my name is Suzie, I'm a 35 year old fitness professional who loves to travel, cook, try new cafes and restaurants and has a passion for health and fitness. My partner, Matt who's 39 and a finance professional loves to travel with me, enjoys exploring new cities, adventure sports and great food and wine. We have both travelled extensively and recently took a couple of months off to travel to New Zealand and the UK. Since returning to Australia we have relocated to Victoria and are enjoying experiencing what Melbourne has to offer. I would describe us as an extremely considerate and respectful couple. We come with excellent personal and professional references. We enjoy trying new restaurants and a glass of wine but definitely not party animals. We are ideally looking for a place to share from the first week of June in the Toorak, South Yarra and Armadale areas. Thanks, Suzie & Matt :)
Hi there! I'm a postgraduate student at Unimelb, and I'm looking for a private room. Looking for something that's close to public transport - this is pretty important to me. A furnished room is preferred, as I haven't got furniture with me. Move-in date is flexible. I do have to study a lot, so I'll need a quiet place because I'm one of those people who just can't study with noise :( but in my downtime I'd love to chat and have a laugh with my flatmates! I'm looking to make friends and not just to fill a room :) I'm a very positive and friendly person. I love a good laugh and enjoy dad jokes/puns/memes :P I keep my stuff (and the house) neat and clean. When I'm not studying (which is hardly ever) I'm reading, or watching TV shows or movies. Huge cricket fan, and will watch and enjoy pretty much any sport :D I'm new to the city so I'd also like to explore the place but haven't really got round to it yet haha! I hope I've covered everything (these things are hard to write!). Please message me if there's anything you'd like to know :) Cheers, Ally
