Hi,
We're Thekla and Patrick. We're studying marine biology and biological oceanography in Germany, and will come to Horbart for a three-month intership at the IMAS between August and November.
Thekla is 24 and I'm 28. By living together and separately in different shared flats, we have gained a lot of positive experience from both. As we both study in different cities now, we went back to a share flat situation, which makes it great to have to oppertunity to go together to Hobart.
I'd say we're a very open, communicative and respectful people.
In order to contribute to a positive living atmosphere, respectful interaction with all roommates is incredibly important for us, which of course also includes the general cleanliness of the flat. We would love to spend time together with our future flatmates. Of course, each person has their own life, but we would be very happy about joint activities in the shared flat. In our free time, we like to do our own kind of sport. While Thekla enjoys playing sports, I like playing football. As Hobart offers great hiking opportunities, we would also like to take advantage of this from time to time. At home, we usually enjoy spending time with our mates, going to the beach or the park as well as to a café or a nice breakfast place.
