Update: I've just got my own 3 bed house half way between normanhurst and waitara train stations. About 10 mins walk to both. It's a large home and I'll have 2 bedrooms available for rent with off street, out of view parking for everyone (not garaged). I just moved in 24/02/18, so need a week to setup the house. One bedroom is really large with full wall mirrored built-ins and the other a bit smaller with a small cupboard but no built-ins. I'll put up a listing once I've got the house setup. Preferably share with other full-time workers of any age. Budget is approximate + expenses. I'm a full-time Finance/IT professional, been in my current place by myself for 13 years. Unfortunately Landlord needs his place for his Son and I can't find a new place for the same rent so looking to teamup. Somewhere less than 10 mins walk to a train station. As I've been living by myself I have furnishings and house stuff for everything except a 2nd bedroom - washing machine, couches, cooking, home entertainment etc. (open to sharing an existing place but I have a lot of stuff, so need more than just a bedroom - minimum of off street parking plus secure storage for my bike and car things). I'm nice, friendly, easy-going, non-smoker, non-drinker, and vegetarian (I don't care if you're not :)). I'm clean, but far from fussy about things. I just need to sleep at night - so expect people to be respectful of noise late at night. Don't mind people coming over but I'm not a huge party person. Non-smokers only please. I'm not around much most weekends. I spend more time editing photos in my personal time (part-time photography business) than anything else, intertwined between cycling, guitars, gym, motorbikes and race cars.
I am a friendly and outgoing girl who is always happy to help out my housemates or have a chat, while keeping the place tidy and respectful of others' privacy and schedules. I will be working full-time and mainly spend my weekends and free time reading, the gym and with friends. Non-smoker but happy with Smokers-welcome and pet-friendly places.
Hello there, My name is Hamaka and I am looking for a place to stay in Sydney CBD and or surrounding suburbs. About me: ⬛ Maori/Croatian/Irish. ⬛ Career driven. ⬛ Single. ⬛ Gay. ▪ Cyclist ▪ skater ▪ long distance runner. ▪ Muso ▪ bibliophile ▪ Adventurer. ▪ Prone to losing my train of thought and answering questions in essay form, subconsciously. ⬛ Barista/bartender/sales person/creative ◼ I drink on very rare occasions so will likely be writing, hiking, cycling or skate boarding. I am currently living in Liverpool, Western Sydney, and am staying with friends - I would like to secure a place to stay, which is closer to work. I manage a non-for-profit café for a company which manufactures games; Aristocrat technologies. I commute to work each day, which happens to be a 2 hour trip each way. I would like to cut that commute down significantly by moving closer to where I work, haha. I arrived in Sydney 3 weeks ago so am still finding my bearings, geographically. I am from a small village in New Zealand located in the Waikato region, specifically, the Coromandel Peninsula; located on the North of the North Island of NZ. I would like to move into a place immediately for then I can comfortably settle into Sydney and start exploring. I treat people the way I would like to be treated, with kindness and respect. I am considerate and empathetic in relation to living in shared accommodation. I come from a family of 11 so cleaning up after myself is a given, and I would prefer the same. I am aiming to get another job working on the weekend, either permanent or casual freelancing work. So, I will likely never be home. I enjoy getting out and being active, for I am perpetually bored, haha! I enjoy keeping fit and living a healthy lifestyle. I hope that gives you a general idea of who I am. #chill Thank you so very much for taking the time to read my novel (profile). I have uploaded my social media platforms to give you further insight into my life/mind; who I am. Thank you again for taking the time. Kindest regards, Hamaka Murray
Hello everybody :) A few facts about myself: - I'm an Italo-Australian; - I work full-time in the city; - I am bubbly and enthusiastic, as well as, very organised and respectful; - I love reading, cooking and travelling. I'm currently living with my grandmother. Looking to move out, meet new people and be more independent. Thank you in advance to anyone who'll be able to help me make this happen! Mel :)
I have just returned from working in London as a land surveyor and am now working here in Sydney. I taught scuba diving in Cairns for many years. I am 49 and like to think I am fun, easygoing and friendly as well as tidy and respectful. I’m keen on exercise, quiet and prefer early nights. I don’t smoke and drink only occasionally.
Hi there, I've just received a new role in Surry Hills and am looking to move half way between my home and new job. Anywhere in the Hornsby/ Upper North Shores area would be great. My partner and I are two quiet, young professionals who are clean, easy going and respectful. We would enjoy socialising with housemates but absolutely respect privacy and personal space. We are currently looking for a studio type apartment or a granny flat.

A calm view to a leafy valley that is habitat to exotic colourful birds and wildlife is inviting to unwind and relax. The area is also great for bicycling, hiking and bush walking. 3. Pool 4. Convenient public transport options 5. Flexible room/rate options Single: $250 (one person) or $320 (two persons) (I can add another single bed) Double: $280 (one person) or $360 (couple). 2 Double rooms available. Queen: $300 (one person) or $400 (couple)
I am looking for some place where I can have a relaxing evening after a long day of work. Love cooking up dishes but have to admit not always the best. I enjoy travelling and exploring new places, even if its just within Sydney... there's always something to see! I like having a quiet night in and just relaxing with a good book or a movie! Not really a messy person! Would like to find a place with flatmates that are relaxed, respectful and Social.
Our house is nestled in the bush. It is such a beautiful area, you feel like you are on holidays! The house is large, with plenty of room. We are fairly close to Hornsby train station, and Westfield. If you enjoy bushwalking and nature, there are plenty of tracks near by.
I work full time (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm ish) as a course admin for an education and training provider in the CBD. When I get a chance, I enjoy reading, cooking and bingeing on Netflix. Not a total party animal, but enjoy catching up with people for after work drinks. I'm friendly, neat and considerate, and I'm looking for flatmates who are likewise! 2 or 3 flatmates max would be ideal.

Respectful to others, clean and tidy. I’m not a party animal and occasionally head out to gigs. I prefer to go to the gym and I have weekly training sessions for rugby. I work full time and I’m a qualified pastry chef. Food is probably my first love. I’m adopting a kitten this weekend so I will have a pet but at the moment I don’t know much about his temperament.
Hey, Im Sam, 25. Im currently living with my father, but things are going to shit again. I suffer from major depression, borderline personality disorder, i have anxiety as well as ptsd. Im looking to share with people who understand, or who in fact themselves suffer from mental illness. I am quiet, tidy and i prefer to keep to myself, although i dont mind a good chin wag. I receive disability support pension so im guaranteed an income. I cant handle living at home and id just like to be somewhere that im accepted, for who i am. I have a dog, he is fully vaccinated and desexed, well behaved, but not friendly with other animals. He loves attention, and if you play ball with him he will be your best friend for life. He loves to swim, chew tennis balls and lay in cardboard boxes (then eat them lol). Anyways, im desperately looking for somewhere, as i do not want to have to give him up. Im comfortable with anyone as long as we all respect one another. Ive exhausted all other avenues, so here i am. Chuck us a message if you think you can help/are interested to meet and we can go from there. Cheers
I'm a nursing student and currently working as an undergraduate nurse at the Sydney Adventist Hospital. Needing to move from Newcastle, as at the moment I'm driving back and forth most days. I'm fun, friendly, clean and respectful
I'm a 26-year-old Iranian woman looking for a clean room with tidy and clean flatmates close to the train station (Max 15 minutes walk). I arrive in Sydney only 5 days ago. I look for a professional job.
My name is Fio, I am a full time worker who develops templates in Microsoft Office in Chatswood. My working hours are usual office hours. Mon-Fri 9am - 5:30pm. I am Peruvian born but have been in Australia for 10 years, so I also consider myself aussie. I am more on an introvert person, so I enjoy my quiet alone time but also enjoy to have the occasional glass of wine while watching TV or just having a conversation. I enjoy reading, on Netflix binges, handcrafting and board games!. Im not too much of a cook but will definitely try and make some peruvian dishes for you to try! I try to stay fit so will go for a run every now and then if you'd like to join me.
It's a ground floor 2 bedroom unit, about a 10-minute walk to the train station, 8 minutes to the local Westfield. It's a nice quiet street, just up from a park. The garage is currently taken up by my project car, but street parking is easy to come by. I'm pretty quiet, happy to keep to myself, though I'm open to watching TV together, or just hanging out and chatting. I work full-time Monday to Friday, usually away from about 8-6 each day. You have a choice of rooms depending on your budget. It's 240 p/w for the smaller room, or 260 p/w for the larger room, which features an ensuite, a built in wardrobe and a walk in wardrobe. Current roommate just moving out now, so if you'd like to plan ahead and contact me about moving in, please do reach out, I'm happy to organise an inspection. Room has a desk, chair, lamp, chest of drawers and single mattress left by previous roommate.
I'm a second year student at UTS and need somewhere to live as I'm not able to live with my parents anymore. I have a small dog named Yuki who hardly sheds. I'm happy to live in most places in Sydney as long as public transport to the city is easy enough.
