We are looking to fill a large bedroom in a great share house with people who are easy going, friendly and tidy. Situated in the sought after location of Hughes and within close proximity to quality schools, transport, Canberra Hospital, Woden Town Centre, Deakin and Canberra City Centre this spacious home's inviting ambience is appealing to all. The home offers 3 spacious bedrooms and recently renovated bathroom. The property has been painted throughout and new carpet has been laid. There is a separate laundry for added convenience. The bedroom on offer has a large built-in wardrobe, located on the ground floor and shares a bathroom. The property will be ready for the new tenant to move in early January. There is an expectation that the bills will be split evenly. Rent is to be paid four weeks in advance and bond is equal to four weeks rent.
Hi! I'm a nineteen year old gal looking to live with someone of the same/similar age who’s not too fussed about a ‘quite’ home - obviously we all need our quite time which I completely respect however I’d like us to both feel comfortable about having friends over. I work full time M-F and love exploring new things, whether that be a new TV show or a new dinner spot. I’m super friendly (or so I’ve been told) and am pretty clean. Open to existing rooms (private, no share room enquires thanks!) or teaming up with someone and finding a place on Domain.
This is a unique property to find as a share house, as it's brand new, with double glazing and central heating and cooling for all round comfort. All bedrooms are light and spacious, with built-in robes, - most have their own televisions and all are lockable for your safety and privacy. The open plan kitchen/dining and living area has been furnished and offers spacious relaxing areas. Just a short walk from the Hughes shops, where there's a supermarket, bakery, chemist and many other boutique shops. A two minute drive takes you to Woden precinct, where cinemas, gyms, cafes, clubs and other entertainment abound. Suitable for two friends or colleagues to share, the back bedroom is big enough to take two single beds, which will bring rent down $50 each per week. The room currently has one king single for taller person, plus television and heaps of built-in robes.
Looking for a new place as my current living situation is no longer available. I am laid back/easygoing, tidy, sociable, and will respect people's space. I'm currently working as a camera operator/editor for news. Not party fiend but usually down for a drink! I love the outdoors/nature and being active (bouldering, longboarding, hiking), like to go down to the south coast quite often. Or if I'm feeling lazy always down for a movie or game.
Hi folks, I'm Eddy and having lived in Melbourne all my life, I'm finally branching out a bit! I'll be working full time as a public servant but also be studying at the same time at Canberra Institute of Tech. I'd say I'm an agreeable person who makes sure to keep a clean space. I love to meet new people and am always down for a nice hang out, but I also make sure everyone has their own time, space and privacy as that is something I value as well. As for things I like to do, I'm a fan of fast cars, motorcycles and stretching that cardio on some great runs while some of my more sedate hobbies are writing stories and going stargazing.
Hi there! My name is Alex and I'm a full time public servant working in Woden. Im originally from West Australia. I'm a quiet, tidy type who doesn't object to noise an activity around me. I have many hobbies but my main ones are cooking, art, gem cutting and horse riding. I own my own horse so I'm generally out from sunrise to sunset most weeknights - I am very respectful of keeping the noise down for those non-early risers! I'm looking to move to a new place before Christmas and I have based my search on places close to work (Woden Valley) or close to my horse (Bruce/Belconnen area). While I don't mind street parking, if it's all that's available I would like to have parking that isn't time limited throughout the day as I walk or commute to work. Hope to hear from you soon! Edit: apologies for my terrible profile photo, I'm not good with them at the best of times.
looking for someone who can communicate- is interested just as much in listening as in talking; is in late 40's, early to mid 50's; is open-minded with respect to alternative healing modalities such as kinesiology and reiki, and is also open-minded to life being lived on a more spiritual level- meditation, energetic work. I enjoy swimming and pilates. I love dancing, history, making historical costumes, arts and crafts. I am starting to learn about opals and gemstones-where to find them and then how to cut and polish them. I am a tutor for literacy and numeracy- helping people who learn in different ways. I am generally quiet, love music, learning about different cultures, and want to explore Australia in a year or two. I am trustworthy, reliable and expect the same in a house mate, especially regarding rent and bills.
I've spent the last couple of years walking from the bottom of Tasmania to Central NSW (minus the Bass Strait of course). Now I am looking to swap out the tent life in the bush for the city life. I work as a freelance software developer. I am in a van now, and thus it will be my "room". So if you have some driveway/yard space, and are looking to reduce your rent, this would be an ideal arrangement. All I require is kitchen and bathroom use. Thanks!
Easy going, work most of the time, I like things tidy and clean, always up for a laugh and a chat. I’m responsible and will respect your space and privacy as well as any guest you may have.
Hello, I'm Ben. I consider myself to be a fairly regular 26 year old male. Love getting along with people and open minded. Canberra born and bred. Bit of a Jack of all trades. Trying to get back into keeping active after joining the public service. Do a bit of gaming (Won't chew up too much bandwidth though). I also enjoy a drink and being social, although I'm usually the quiet one in a group. Clean and tidy around the house especially in shared areas. More of a 'clean up after myself' type rather than 'everyone has their turn' but I'm flexible and will fit in with established practices. Not much of a cook but willing to learn. Will do my fair share of housework. Would love to find a place with flat mates that appreciate a really friendly vibe. Would prefer to have a 'trial period' but would love to find the right place to stay at for longer. Cheers,
