Preemptively looking for a new room as the share-house I'm currently in is up for sale. I work full time in the public service and am aiming for somewhere fairly clean, relaxed and close to work. Would also strongly prefer an en-suite or own bathroom, but otherwise am fairly flexible. I mostly just read and watch movies at home, so will generally keep to myself, but do also enjoy the occasional chat/drink/baking session/Netflix binge/games night (and not averse to a good party either if that's your thing)! I'm originally from Melbourne, so would be keen to reconnect with any fellow Melbournians, but that's definitely not a requirement. Otherwise I'm a pretty tidy, easygoing person, and a non-smoker.
Hey! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane for work as a consultant. I'm an always doing something kinda guy, so I really dig going out to the mountains or parks, checking out the city I live in and am really sociable. I don't smoke and I'm not the kind of person to get smashed on drinks every night of the week. I more just chill drink with mates every now and then. I'm a really clean-oriented person so I'd like housemates that are happy to help keep the common areas neat.
I am moving to CanberraMid-October to start a new position in the public service. I am friendly, tidy and love a good chat over a glass of wine at the end of the day. I am currently studying externally, so will often be required to lock myself in my room and study.
I am a health professional currently looking for a property and a suitable housemate to share within close proximity to the Canberra Hopital. I am quiet, clean, friendly and hope to share with someone who is similar. I spend most of my time at work or at the gym and enjoying the simple things in life. Ideally looking for a place to live I can call home and feel safe and secure.
I‘m a sportsman (rowing) of switzerland. At the moment I’m preparing for the olympics 2020 in Tokyo. In Canberra I will be training with the australian national team for 2 month. Beside the sport I would like to improve my English. I‘m an openminded man, who is looking for a room/ bed to have some nice chats/ diner in the evening together with you. In my leisure time I like to hike, ride the bike, chill at the beach, cook, barbecue,... Would be great to meet you! Hopefully see you soon All the best Roman
Fun loving girl from Wellington, New Zealand currently living in Toowoomba moving to Canberra for a job at Canberra Hospital and would prefer somewhere close or a short commute. Looking forward to making Canberra home and trying to find the perfect place to settle in. Going to be moving for the long term and already have a full time job secured. Would prefer a room to be furnished, for the short term at least if possible :) I will be moving to Canberra around the 26/27th September. I love being active, having fun, exploring, travelling, cooking and have lived in lots of sharehouses before for the past few years. I enjoy having a good time but also respectful during the week, as I have a full on job. Look forward to hearing from you :)
I’m an honest, reliable, clean and tidy professional. Pretty relaxed but do prefer a clean home and to share with others who like the common shared spaces to be kept tidy. I’m friendly and quite happy to share a meal or a glass of wine and have a chat on occasion but I do like my own space. I’ve shared with 2 girls in their early 20s the past 2 years; it’s been fun to hang out and it’s worked because we respect each other’s privacy and individuality. I am open to sharing with people of any age if they are mature, respectful, trust-worthy, self-aware with a positive, can do, friendly attitude. Art, hiking, cycling, Pilates, Netflix, great food, coffee and wine, board games, authenticity and honesty are all up there as things I enjoy and value. Despite this site requiring preferred suburbs to be listed I’m open to considering anywhere in ACT. ** I’m flexible with length of time to house share - between 3-7 months starting mid October (I’ll be housesitting from May 2019)
I'm a 23-year-old Filipina. I'm currently working as a part-time RN (Registered Nurse). I will be looking for another health facility to do casual or part-time job once I found accommodation. When I'm not at work, I usually stay home to do self-study. I'm passionate about my career so I always take time to develop my skills and knowledge. I have lived in other shared accommodation before so I'm very much aware of the protocols involving shared accommodation such as paying bills on time, keeping the place clean and tidy and respecting other tenants' privacy. In saying that, I'm also easy going. I love to chat/socialise at times in any way (movies, nightout, walking, window shopping or even sharing when going through tough times). Being clean and tidy, especially in the kitchen are a big deal to me. In the rest of house, I'm not too OCD. Please feel free to message me if you think I'm suitable to be your housemate.
I’m about to be transferred to Canberra and will be working full time. With this being my new home, I’m going to explore try to be out on the weekend exploring all what this city has to offer. Non smoker and have no pets. I’m fairly easy going, non confrontational, and not too loud. Responsible and reliable with rent. I am respectful of my flatmate’s possessions and space. I try to keep fit with cycling and a bit of running. I am clean and tidy, and happy to share the household chores.
I am a quiet person. I don't go out much or have many people over. I am a non smoker. I am a very relaxed person. I have no pets but I am a pet lover. I am out of the house around 9-6 weekdays. Usually away every second weekend seeing family. I am pretty tidy. I don't leave dishes around the place or random bits and bobs. Would like to find a roommate who is clean but not ocd clean. Looking for a room to rent or another flatmate similar to find something together. Ideally looking for one other roommate to rent a full property.
I'm a current honours student at ANU studying Psychology and working part time in functions. I'm open to pretty much any housing situation. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the gym and the odd video game.
I'm a third year university student, preferably looking for some other students or young people to live with. I'm pretty laid-back, clean but not a neat freak, and like my own space - although I'd love a place where I can hang out with my housemates every now and then!

Hi, I'm a 29 year old hospitality professional. I've lived in Canberra most of my life and I manage and run a cafe in the heart of Manuka. I'm an easy going guy, I'm social, clean, tidy and organised. I tend to live reasonably quiet but thrive in the social aspects of my work. I'm passionate about the service industry and personal development. My hobbies include food & beverage, gaming, exercise and sport. I think i would make a great housemate because I will respect personal space, but will also be available for good chat. I only drink when it is appropriate and i don't smoke. I pride myself on being a fair person and I have lived in many share houses.
20yr old apprentice electrician. Quiet through the week, enjoy going to the gym or just relaxing after work. Enjoy spending weekends with friends mostly or travelling home to see family on the odd occasion.
I am generally a quiet person. I like binge watching Netflix. I like reading, writing, drawing and working hard. I do enjoy conversation but can be a little cautious to begin with. I come from a big family, so privacy is important and I am tidy and respectful because of this. I don't go out, don't drink or smoke but I have no issues with people that do. I'm a little bit artsy, and like to bake on occasion. Very easy to get along with and generally a happy, calm and kind individual.
I'm a full time engineer, and I'll be making the move down from Sydney in early October. I'll be heading back to Sydney fairly often on weekends so you can expect me out of your hair during those times. I'm pretty easy going, friendly and like to keep areas neat and tidy. You can expect me to keep to myself, I enjoy my quite nights in but I'm happy to explore the food options in area. I don't drink or smoke but I have no issues with people that do.
G'day, I'm James! I'm originally from Adelaide, but moved to Canberra mid last year. I work full-time as an engineer, but I also study part time as a postgrad at the ANU. I'm pretty sociable and will happily have a chat or a couple drinks after work if thats your speed; otherwise I more than willing to give you your space and keep a low footprint at home. Between work, gym, uni and my partner I keep pretty busy so I like to keep my space at home tidy and try not to be a burden on anyone else. Feel free to get in contact and have a chat, I'm pretty easy going.

Hey there - I’m a journalist moving to Canberra to cover politics. Looking for somewhere close to Parliament. I’m very clean, very friendly, and possess an adorable Scottish accent. Plus I alway pay bills on time. The only downside is my cooking, but I'm working on it.
Hello, I am a working professional moving to Canberra for a new job in the public sector. As a friendly, clean, respectable and helpful father of 2 who also live in Canberra, I hope to find accommodation alone or with just one other to share. I enjoy visiting art galleries, museums, classical music, wine tasting and walks.
Hey! My name is Taylor. I work full-time for Defence and moved to Canberra for my work. I am social and enjoy making friends, so I would prefer to be friends with my roommate(s) and am down for household meals etc. though I do value my down time. I work Monday - Friday and in the afternoons I enjoy listening to music, cruising the interwebs, going for a run/walk and am more than happy for a chat. On weekends I enjoy hikes, grabbing coffee or finding random activities around Canberra. My ideal household is a laid-back environment mixed in with some light banter. I'm also clean and tidy and will contribute to household chores. As they say: Teamwork makes the dreamwork. Both Male and Female roommates are welcomed. Look forward to meeting you!
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
HI, I'm Krystel and currently looking at finding a room for the next 3 to 6 months starting end of September. I'm originally from France but have been living in Australia for the past 7 years so it's pretty much home. I am moving from Sydney to Canberra for work, and was hoping to eventually get my own place, but it'll be easier to get a room to start off with. I'm super easy going, very tidy, a vegan but I don't care what you eat (no joke! I'm not one of the crazy vegans), and don't intend on bringing the part home. I usually keep to myself but happy to hang out and have a chat every now and again. I am very busy outside of work, so don't spend much time at home so you'd barely ever see me yet I would pay rent! Win Win! I'm also looking for a place for 6-9 months as I'll then be trying to get my own place. Any questions, please ask :)
