Easy going mature minded individual that is considerate of others space and things. Enjoys cooking and the team effort of keeping the place tidy. The home I see as a place to recharge for the day ahead, some social interaction and time out. Tend to be more social out with friends than at home. Preference for unit style accommodation with some yard & Lug. Thanks, Sam
Hi All, I have a room soon to become available in a quiet area in Hughesdale. (My current housemate returning to Japan.) The house is fully furnished, and the bedroom is a good size with a bed and desk included (Can take out if you have your own), and a WIR (Pics attached) The apartment is a short walk to Hughesdale station, and a bus stop is across the road. Close to Oakleigh shops and Chadstone shopping centre. Nice and quiet location. House has recently been renovated, and has a backyard area. Would suit student or full time worker. All bills are included (internet, gas, water and electricity). Sharing with a professional male that works in the CBD and would be looking for either male or female.
Hi! I'm looking to relocate to Melbourne in early-mid 2017 for a gap year (or two) before going into Uni, and i'm just saving up in the meantime. I'm really into comics, anime, games and writing- but I also like social/music events, just socializing and messing around outdoors. I'd prefer a place with chilled out and open-minded people, and while I do value my own time alot i'd definitely be down to spend time with housemates including going out or having movie nights and things like that. Looking for a somewhat lengthy stay so I don't have to be constantly moving around and to feel established somewhere. Budget, suburbs, and move date etc are all just close estimates as most of it will change by the time I move- which should be around March but i'm just starting to look early. :)
I am clean, respectful, fun and friendly.I love being both at home chilling out but also getting outside and doing cool stuff. I like exercise, trying new activities, exploring and being outdoors. I also love chilling at home with a glass of wine and catching up with my flat mates with some TV or a movie and dinner.
This is a great house,it has a nice back verandah which is west facing and it is nice to enjoy the afternoon sun,it is a nice home in a quiet street with no howling dogs and no noisy neighbours. The kitchen is well equipped, we have central heating and evaporative air-conditioning throughout the house so you can get a good nights sleep There is an extra upright freezer in the laundry (handy) and 2 toilets. The house is fully furnished except for the bedroom, however I can furnish it including a quality double bed ,desk etc as you wish at ten dollars a week. There is a lounge area with tv and surround sound at the front of the house which is great to watch a movie undisturbed, and another tv at the back of the house as well which overlooks the back yard its handy as well. The bedroom is 4x3.5 metres and has room for a desk and has a 3 door floor to ceiling wardrobe, it is a great wardrobe with plenty of shelving and hanging space.unlimited internet can be provided at $ 25.00 per month. The room has new carpet.I like to keep the house tidy ,uncluttered and clean.we don't wear shoes inside so that makes it easy to live in. The Oakleigh and Hughesdale rail stations are both a 12 minute walk and the bus is at the end of the street. The north road bus is also about 5 mins walk.
I've been living in sharehouses for nearly 3 years now and I am fully house-trained. I'm good fun, sociable and a pretty good cook. I clean up after myself and liking keeping things tidy but am not OCD about it. I like having my privacy but don't hole up in my room the entire day. I like coming home after a day at work and have someone to chat with or share some good food and wine with. If it sounds like we can live together, without killing each other just shoot me a message and I'll be in touch.
Hi, I'm Karen. I'm looking for a place closer to work. I am an easy going, non smoker, friendly, respectful and neat person looking for similar person to share a house/apartment with. I'm very responsible and always pay the bill on time.
I'm a science student who currently lives in Warragul and is looking for a place closer to uni. I am a really considerate person and I keep my belongings organised and clean. I'm fairly quiet, bubbly and comfortable to be around. When I'm not at uni (or working) I like to read novels/comics, watch movies, chill out and have some chats. I have put 6 months but am flexible, same with the moving date - it's just an estimation.
I'm a Monash University student and I work part-time as a tutor (both at a tutoring center for stable income and as a private tutor for extra cash). I am quiet but still sociable and easy to get along with. Most of the time, I will be out for uni or at work. I am a very neat and tidy person.
We are extending our lease until January 18th but have a spare master bedroom for 2 months!!! We can put a single bed in the room if you need, otherwise it is empty for you to furnish. The place is great within a 5 min walk to Oakleigh train station and 30 seconds away from a 7/11!! Your room is the biggest in the house and has an ensuite with a shower and basin and a walk in wardrobe! There is a second bathroom with bath/shower, basin and toilet and a second toilet through the laundry at the back of the house. There are 3 car spaces at the front of the house and an eye surgical centre next door with plenty of parking that visitors use. We only have one neighbour and the noise from the road isn't bad as the house is behind a big vine covered wall. We have plenty of room and a big sunny backyard which is perfect for hanging out in summer.
This house is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit. It is cosy, clean, welcoming and extremely close to hughesdale train station (5 minute walk). There are 2 unfurnished bedrooms up for rent, and for such a beautiful house, affordable rent too! This place is in a safe and friendly neighbourhood and close to the supermarkets (Oakleigh centro), cafe's, bus stops, parks...you name it!! It would be perfect for a student or a working professional, as both Monash University and train station is so close by. By train, it takes 20 minutes to the city!
I'm an easy going, tidy, light smoker. I start my bachelor of education next year so being reasonably close to the city is a must. I am looking for a long term residence, but have been fairly ok bouncing from short term house to short term house these past few years. I love animals, witty dark-humoured cartoons, and video games. I genuinely enjoy cooking and cleaning so am more than happy to do both of these things :) I have been living independently since I was 16 because I needed to live closer to the school I was attending in the city. Education has always come first for me, so I am usually studying, reading or writing, meaning I won't be a bother to have in the house!
Student from Perth, Western Australia. Studying Arts, Majoring in Human Rights and International Relations at Monash University. Loves going to gigs, galleries, volunteering, going to the beach, for walks, cafes, bars or shopping. Hobbies include photography, pilates, reading and writing. You can find me out in a park, drinking coffee in the library or looking around NGV. Very focused on studies and busy outside of university, so I keep fairly to myself however always up to socialise and make some new friends. Super neat, Non-Smoker.
Hello! I just finished my first year of University at Monash and I had to move home. However, I want to move to Melbourne for the christmas break before the commencement of university. I speak Italian, French and English and I'm from a town on the border of News South Wales. I'm super easy going, super clean, I enjoy working and studying and I'm looking for a short stay before I go back to college in March.
Hey, I am a 1-year exchange student from Germany with a full working week and hopefully satisfying experiences on weekend! Clean, responsible and sociable. Looking forward to traveling a lot and learning to know Melbourne and its people.
I'm a student at Monash, in my 6th year of studying engineering and law. I'm pretty chilled, I like to socialise and go out when I can but also like a clean space to come back to where I can spend a day reading or binge watching TV. I'm going away in December so looking for a place early January!
Bargain at $200/week, compared to the actual $500 rent. Come and have a look - available now: New apartment in an excellent location: minutes walk from Oakleigh station and the greek eateries. Few blocks away from Chadstone shopping centre. Around the corner from one of the best Bakeries and drive through coffee places in Oakleigh: 'Perasma'. Also perfect location if you catch the train to work or if you walk or bus it to Chadstone Mall, Monash Uni or surrounding areas. I have a bedroom in a two bedroom, two bath apartment. So you will have a modern bathroom to yourself. Room is unfurnished. Photo with the bed is my room, same size as the one available. This gives you an idea of size. The apartment is fully furnished, so just bring your own bed and feel free on how you want to arrange your room. The building has only a few apartments, so it is a quiet environment. Don't be put off about being so close to Warrigal Rd., the apartment is facing away from the road and all windows etc. are double glazed too. The building also has a small gym with treadmill; exercise bike; mattresses and a weight machine. Great to get active before going to work, plus no-one seems to be using it, so you will have it all to yourself :) There is free on street parking around the block.
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 27 and live a pretty clean lifestyle apart from the cheeky cigarette at the end of the day. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 4yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a 4 month minimum stay, but could definitely do a long term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.
I am neat, friendly and a great addition to any group. I love my sports and music and I am studying in an arts degree. I work at Dandenong Pavilion which gets me an in to a bunch of discounts at royal stacks (if you like burgers) Other than that I try to be as helpful as possible were ever I am and never disappoint.
Hello, I'm Charmaine! I'm a PhD student at Monash University, so I work weird hours. I also work part time as a TA and RA. I'm hoping to live with someone I can be friends with, but will also respect my privacy. I love playing board games, discussing theories about my favourite books and TV shows and cake. I also love cooking and feeding people!
Im reliable with paying on time. Im friendly, but also respects privacy. I work full time monday to friday as a billing analyst and most weekends i am out catching up with friends. I do smoke but only outside.
I am Ramin, 25 years and I am full time working in the coolest restaurant in Oakleigh. I just moved to Melbourne 2nd March from Holland. I am here to work full time and to start study in February. I am an easy going person who likes to socialise with people. I am clean and considerable. I have been working in a restaurant for 6 years, so I have passion for food and love being with humans. Generally a happy, friendly and sociable person who loves to have a chat and laugh along the way.
I am currently studying Business at RMIT during the day, while working at my musical and artistic career at night. I am a creative, kind, and open-minded individual. I'm neat, tidy, and respectful of others and their needs - so I hope you are too! I'm always up for a laugh, a chat about the deeper meaning of life, or making mad pizza. My heritage is Lebanese, so if you like a bit of spice in your life, I'm your habib ;)
All the perks of having a dog without the responsibility and cost. Have lived in share houses all my adult life and fully house trained. Love to keep active and fit but also enjoy having food and drinks with friends at the weekend. Would love a home not a house. Somewhere that we can chat about our day but also respect each others privacy when needed. If I was any more laid back I would be horizontal.
Friendly, easy-going, sports/outdoors/music lover. Will be primary school teaching full-time next year and looking for a like-minded housemate to team up and rent a unit/house. Like my own space, but don't mind a chat too! Enjoy having friends around for dinner as I like to cook!

I'm clean and respectful and hoping to move into a share house with like minded people.
I love baking, cats and dogs ( as long as they are clean). I would love to share a room with a kind girl. I am funny, outgoing, but hot-tempered sometimes!
Hi my name is Mac, I'm 35 and work full time as an arborist. I'm easy going and enjoy meeting new people. I also understand the need for people to have their own personal space. I'm not really looking for a party house, I would just like to find a nice quiet place to live.
I am PhD student at The University of Melbourne. A clean, responsible, fun loving person and respect privacy. I am a fun loving person (not a party animal) and I like to socialise with people (don't mind having few drinks). I m mostly busy during the weekdays with studies and gym. On weekends I play soccer and I catch up with friends/ relatives. So you wont see me most of the time at home. Looking for a shared accommodation In Carnegie, Murrumbeena, Hughesdale, Oakleigh, Huntingdale.
I'm happy, friendly and easy going. Very helpful domestically. Will be a full time student, studying a great deal but am also open to try new things and am always up for fun.
I am from Melbourne and I study international studies at Monash (used to do law). i adore foreign language movies, historical fiction books and pop music. Love checking out dumpling places and cooking at home also.
An easy going girl who loves to keep house tidy and clean, cook occasionally and love to socialise and enjoy a glass of wine in free time. I work full time Monday to Fridays .I don't like to hide in my room all the time so looking for someone easy going to share an apartment with. I am currently in India for 2 months on a holiday . Work as an IT consultant in Richmond. I have lived in Melbourne for 9 years . I am looking to rent a place from 10 January onwards
Hi, my name is Jess and I am looking for a place where my cats and I would be welcomed. If you have a garage and would prefer the cats not to be in the house then I'd be happy to set them up out there. I am a smoker but smoke outside. I am looking for a place to stay from 4 months to year. I am friendly and easy going, punctual with payments. Ideally looking for a bungalow but if my cats are welcome then I am happy with anything
Hi I'm Louisa from Hong Kong. Currently studying at Monash Clayton and working part time in the city. I'm looking for a furnished room in a property within walking distance to the public transports. I'm friendly, clean, tidy, reliable, organized, and respect others privacy.
My name is Elizabeth. I am in Sydney. I will move to Melbourne on 22nd of Dec to start my master program in Monash. Since I plan to work at the same time, I will be quite busy. I am tidy and open mined. I respect other's life styles.
I'm a 26-Year-old Mexican student. I really love sports, performing various activities as well watching to them with friends :) I love literature and listening to music, I've been the vocalist for different bands in my country. I love animals, nature and spending time learning from people and going to parties.
I am a second year Monash Student doing a Business/Marketing degree. I was brought up in Brazil but have lived in Australia for the past 7 years, originally living with my Dad. I am a fun, outgoing person to have around, and tidiness and cleanliness is vital in my daily life. I'm looking for some young people to share some laughs with and hopefully make some new friends in a new house, as I am trying to relocate from the on-campus studios at Monash.
My current lease finishes at the end of this year and I'm looking to move sometime in January or February. Next year I will be going into my 4th (managed to stretch 2 years into 3) and hopefully final year of my bachelor of commerce at Monash (Clayton Campus). Currently I am working two jobs (St Kilda and various CBD locations). At present I'm living in Ormond but am ideally looking to move somewhere a bit closer to the city and that will cut a bit of time off my commute to work or uni. My ideal area is Richmond/Burnley/Cremorne, but I'm pretty flexible on that. Quite happy to trade off location (to an extent) to find somewhere that's better value for money. Primarily I am looking to team up with 1 or 2 people rather than join an existing place. I have quite a bit of furniture so moving into an already furnished place would be a bit of a hassle with regards to storing that. What am I like to live with? I'm a bit of a neat freak so only interested in sharing with people who like things very clean and tidy (Don't mind raising my standards, but I struggle to lower them). In general I'm fairly quite and keep to myself. If we get along well I'm happy to hang out sometimes, but that's not a requirement. With regards to the kind of property I am aiming for, I tend to prefer apartments over houses. A reasonably modern kitchen and is also a big plus. That one firm requirement that I have is that it is warm and for dry during the winter (admittedly a little difficult to tell during the middle of summer). Feel free to send me a message if you would like to team up or have a suitable room.
Easygoing relaxed person. Social enough to spend time with roomates indoors but outdoors also.Respect others personal life and space. Living almost alone 18 years now so i know to take care of myself. Love music video games and animals.
looking for a furnished granny flat or studio. Not interested in sharing room/kitchen/bath. Looking for a self contained room with private entrance. Ready to move in by jan 1st 2017
Hi! I'm Lisa, I'm just completed my Nursing degree at Deakin. I have a graduate year with Monash Health starting from late January. I am super organised, and great with bills. I'm tidy, but not overly OCD with cleanliness. Working shift work will mean that you'll have the house to yourself some nights, but it also means that sometimes I'll have to do night shift and will need to sleep during the day. I am easy to get along with, but I'm also all for personal space. I am an artistic person in the sense that I have tattoos, and I love creating different looks with my hair ect. I just want to move in with someone who is super easy going, and will happily watch The Walking Dead with me! :)
