Hi, I have just moved from Perth, Western Australia to Tasmania. I have 2 friendly cats with excellent rental reference. I am a Graphic Designer looking for work. I am interested in nature, art, photography, gardening, mountainbiking and bushwalking. I am easygoing, quiet and tidy.
NOTE AVAILABILITY IS ACTUALLY LATE JANUARY - I JUST CAN'T CHANGE THE DATE ON THE CALENDAR FEATURE. Off-grid property with solar system/generator backup, pre-pumped gravity-fed rainwater, great soil, productive garden, wood-fire heated, gas cooking, well-insulated, open-plan, great space, large bedroom at each end with double bed and storage. About to renovate an outside room and move into it (hence January availability). One housemate sleeps in their camper van. So you get the advantages of cooking with more people (always results in better food!) with a fair bit of personal space otherwise. Quiet road 15 mins from Huonville, 20-25 to Kingston, 25-30 to Hobart. Nice creek, good neighbours, decent community. Conducive to living relatively self-sufficiently. Patchy BYO internet from phone, and limited sun over winter. Away from the road. Limited secure tool storage. My aim with this place was/is to create a refuge that is low-energy and as self-sufficient as possible without going extreme.
Ideally looking for another vegetarian, but will consider non-veg, Work in Hobart part-time. Respect other's privacy and space, but because of health, must have a fairly non-toxic non chemical type environment e.g green type. Can't be around smokers.
I'm a mature, self-sufficient, responsible, easy-going, tidy, reliable woman. I am well versed in pet and property care and love gardening. As a homeowner myself I understand the importance of maintaining the garden, keeping things tidy etc. I have a number of personal interests including gardening, growing organic veggies, sunrise walks, exploring Tasmania, meditation, inspirational writing, cooking, photography. I own a professional speaker coaching & video creation business which means I work partially from home. I enjoy my own space and I live a quiet life. I have 2 tidy, respectful, quiet teenage sons (I have trained them well) who spend 2-3 nights a week with me. It would be wonderful to have 3 bedrooms in a house so we all have our own space. Over the past 2 years, I have been house sitting on a professional basis and I'm now ready to settle into a home. Living with me will certainly be a delightful experience. I'm looking forward to meeting you Gxxx
Im an extremely easy going person, I like to keep my space clean, I love to cook and can make a house feel like a home. I work at the fern tree tavern Tuesday-Sunday and am looking for a room to rent from the 5th of December for as long as possible. I’m always up for a chat but also understand people’s need for space. I also love animals.
My property is a 3/2 located 10-12 minute drive from the CBD. Set up in a new sub division is ideal for great security. Literally a 3 minute drive to central Kingston. My ideal flat mate has to be clean, enjoys life, takes pride in where they live. So helping around the house with gardening and inside jobs also. Has to be respectful also. I have a pet dog called Marley who is the boss of the house so what ever she does is fine. Also has to be working.
This property is in a super convenient location, less than 5 minute drive to the petrol station, supermarkets and Channel Court shopping Center. Quick walk to the bus stop that takes you straight into town! The house is close to the Kingston Beach, cafes and a lot of eateries! :)
