I'm a professional in my mid-20s looking for a place to share with likeminded people. I'm usually fairly busy with work and won't be home a whole lot, but am looking for a casual environment with people that respect privacy but also enjoy a chat every now and then. I also play music occasionally (violin and keys) so would need someone who can tolerate my tinkling! I'm fairly neat and tidy and am looking for a place where everyone tidies up after themselves. I'm pretty organised and always prompt with bill paying!
Room available in shared 2-bedroom unit in Ivanhoe East from 26th May - $190/wk or $823 pcm. At 86 sqm the unit is larger than average for a two-bedroom unit in Melbourne (73 sqm), plus there is an 18 sqm garage. Room is about average size (11.4 sqm) with BIR and window to back garden. Semi open-plan living areas. Generous lounge/dining and common areas. Good size well laid-out kitchen. There is central heating throughout, and reverse-cycle air conditioning with inverter (more energy efficient) in main living area. Reasonably modern and decent-size bathroom, separate toilet. Hi there! I'm a 53 year young female. Born and bred in Melbourne, lived here all my life. I'm clean, tidy and respecful of personal space and noise. Always happy to pitch in and do my bit. I work 3 days per week as an office administrator at an engineering company,7 years, and two days per week house cleaning, so there's no issue with cleanliness :) Love animals, socialising, having a drink sometimes, cooking, traveling, relaxing, having a chat and just being a normal friendly caring human being. Nice to meet you 😀
Hi, I’m Mathew, I'm 35 and I study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT in the city. In my spare time I like to watch movies, go to the beach, see a live gig or catch up with mates. I'm also beginning to explore the world of health & fitness. I am financially secure, clean up after myself and respect other people's privacy and personal space. I am quite when at home and my party days are long behind me. Ideally, I am looking to share a 2bdr apartment with one other adult roughly my own age somewhere north of the city. My course moves to RMIT's Bundoora campus next year and I am hoping to keep my commute manageable. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. Any other questions, please ask.

I am moving out of my room to move overseas and I am looking for someone to fill my room! This unit is perfect for students, there is a bus that goes straight to Latrobe University in Bundoora, and is in between two stations on the Hurstbridge line (takes 20-25 mins to get into the city). Also within walking distance for someone working at the Austin Hospital. The whole unit has new carpet throughout, except the kitchen and bathroom. The room available is the smaller one, but it is quite large for a unit (able to fit queen bed, bedside tables, bookshelf easily) and features built in wardrobe. The bedroom is unfurnished. You must be approved by the real estate agent, and be able to pay the bond ($760.50) and one months rent which is also $760.50. There is also the possibility to extend the lease if you want to. The bills and internet are extra from the monthly rent, but are not usually expensive. There is a token cat in the complex that visits from time to time for a cuddle and a sleep. **The photos are from over a year ago and if you would like more just message
A great place to live! 25 MIN drive to the centre of Melbourne city. Walking distance to a number of train stations, buses etc. Plenty of bush walks, mountain bike tracks. A country feel close to the city :) Restaurants, bars, super markets and shops within walking distance. Plenty of off street parking for yourself and friends who come to visit. Amazing neighbourhood with a great bunch of neighbours who are now friends :) Can not fault my little area :) Love it!
**Please note the room that is available is a converted garage for 5 months and has a double bed, large couch TV, fridge, wifi, microwave, storage, its own entrance and total privacy. However the use of the kitchen and bathroom is upstairs.*** The upstairs house is by the Yarra river which fronts onto parkland and Melbourne's scenic bike trail. Nearby shops, public transport, cafes, and walking/bike/artist trails while living in a country atmosphere close to Melbourne City. Relaxing, comfortable, light filled home with outdoor entertainment area. Every window looks out onto natural views with a beautiful garden. Across the road is the main entrance to the parkland area called the Yarra flats with main walks to explore along the Yarra river. If you are a keen cyclist then you can ride your bike all the way to the city. You will be sharing with a mature female who is a professional business owner that works long hours and most weekends and who occupies the main bedroom upstairs with ensuite. Who loves to chill out with a glass of wine. The second bedroom is occupied and is adjacent to main bathroom. The best thing about living here is nature at your doorstep with a veggie patch, BBQ area and large back yard space to chill out. The circle of houses in our neighbourhood is based on a inner community driveway that leads to undercover parking for your car. This is also rear access to the house. The heritage parkland has swings for children and was designed by the famous Architect Walter Burly Griffin who designed Parliament House in Canberra. The house provides you with comforts like an open fireplace, ducted heating, air conditioning, dishwasher, laundry facilities and off street parking. It's fully equipped with TV, DVD player, wifi / internet access. This home is in a very safe neighbourhood. Nearby is a well known Heidelberg Contemporary Museum of Arts called "Heidi". The boulevard street is famous during the Christmas period for the display of Christmas lights decorations. A wonderful oasis to retreat from a the hectic modern world. Hey Hows it going? Im Ash, 26 years old, working full at the moment near Greensborough as a Quantity Surveyor/Cost planner. Working Monday to Friday all day long so potential roomates will have the place to them selves during weekdays. Chilled out guy, absolute neat freak, get along with everyone and always respect people's privacy as I enjoy mine at times.
My name is Ali, I'm 36 and a student. I'm currently obtaining my Diploma in Youth and Community Services. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. My current conundrum is that the house I live in will be up for sale and thus, I have to vacate no later than September. Hopefully I'll be in a new home by then :)
Hi potential flatmates! Myself, my best friend Georgia Lea and her lover boy Jared are looking for a funky abode to call our own! 🏡 We've been on the hunt for a good 5 - 6 months, and Jareds lease is up so he needs a place ASAP. Because of this we aren't too fussy about location, although we're hoping for somewhere north of the CBD. Anywhere with a room for a couple and a room for a single within reasonable access to public transport would be brilliant! A bit about us: Georgia Lea - I study social work at La Trobe, passionate about memes and musicals particularly the sound of music, pun enthusiast, loves a good conspiracy theory, and is generally top notch, bubbly, clean and organised gal to live with! hit us up fam Jared: Just ur typical bloke that works part time at BWS so can recommend some lovely beverages, studies Media at Deakin, and loves him a good video game or wrestling match. Likes music and literally obsessed with movies. Ask him about his simpsons tattoo Georgia Anne: Studying youth work at ACU, as well as working 2 casual jobs to feed her Toblerone addiction. Quotes way too many irrelevant tv shows. Passionate about aquatic facts and SFX makeup. 10/10 will bake questionable sweets for you on her quest to become supreme baking genius When not working or studying, we're all up for a good chat and a few drinks, but also enjoy down time and personal space. We are homeless and sad and cant wait to hear from you!
We are looking for a decent and modern and private room en-suited with bathroom and kitchen . I am IT professional , and my wife is a dental assistant and we are non-smoker , super clean and have no pet .
Hi, my name is Michael. I am 34, been employed full time for nearly 10 years so pretty stable there! Have a car which I would need to park somewhere (not precious about it or where to park). I also have all the furniture I need and would prefer an unfurnished room but can work around anything! Accompanying me will be my dog, Tony, an 11 year old Silky Terrier. He is great with cats and has lived with them most of his life. He is good with quieter type dogs regardless of size, not so good with more active and boystrous dogs however. About me, I am pretty laid back easy going kind of person. Very open minded and love a good chat about nearly anything. In the same breath I do enjoy just doing my own thing from time to time. I like cooking and am not too bad at it at all. I also cook some good Weber barbecue in summer and I don't mind sharing! I am very domesticated and clean. I don't smoke but don't mind living with smokers. Hobbies, well I like watching TV, mostly documentaries these days but also since getting Netflix, all sorts of random stuff. I love camping, 4x4 and MTB (trails, enduro style and downhill). Also like dinners, shows, movies, anything really, will try almost everything once. I am looking for somewhere long term, somewhere to call home. Not looking to hop around too often as I am not a big fan of moving! If I sound like your person, feel free to send me a message!
Hi there! I'm moving back to Melbourne in July. I will hopefully be beginning my Masters and working part-time. I'm friendly, easy going room mate who loves to cook, read & watch Netflix! Would love to hear from you.
Hi, I'm Bridget! 27 year old full-time Nurse! Bubbly and social, always busy working or at the gym so rarely home. When I'm home quiet and mainly keep to myself, however always up for a chat or glass of wine occasionally! Non-smoker and lead a fairly active and healthy lifestyle. my one deal breaker is I'd like is my own bathroom/ensuite haha happy to pay more and share everything else!
Hi! I'm from Italy and I will be visiting researcher at La Trobe University for 6 months, starting from July. I'm clean, tidy, open, nice and friendly. I like good food. I usually don't spent much time at home and I'd like to share the house with young professionals or students. I'm sociable, but quiet :-)
Hi, I am a muslim girl from Indonesia. Been here in Melbourne since June 11, 2016 and will be staying here until August 2018. I am a full-time student studying Master of Chemical Science at La Trobe University in Bundoora. I am a talkative person who love sports, like horse-riding, skydiving and scuba-diving. I am looking for a room without any dogs around and in a quiet circumstance (since I am a student and need a "good" place to study).
We are a Danish couple looking for a nice place to live near La Trobe University, where we are going to study for one semester. We will arrive in Melbourne the 8. july. Anders studies business economics and Astrid studies sociology. We consider ourselves as nice and considerate people, and would enjoy to stay a place with people who would like to share a meal once in while. In our spare time we enjoy to travel, be active and get to know new people.
I am currently working as a nurse in a facility and studying further with my nursing. I am a very quiet person at first but once I get to know anyone you'll find out that I talk a fair bit. I am easy to get along with. I am very respectful person. I have no pets. I don't smoke or drink. I am a very tidy person. Easily adaptable to any living environment. Only want to live with females. No males.
