Hello my name is Abi, originally from Wagga NSW, have been in Melbourne a few years now. Studying a Bachelor of Arts (Photography/Film) at Deakin University & working around 30 hours a week at a coffee shop. I keep nice and busy but like coming home to a happy homely environment. Positive energy & honesty are very important to me. I'd say I keep to myself most of the time but am also a lover of a good movie night, a cuppa coffee or a glass of wine and a potential boogie of a weekend. I'm currently living in a share house with some of my closest friends but we've decided to go our own ways from October. I know October is still a little way a way but I'd like to know I have somewhere secured soon. Would love to grab a drink or a cuppa if you'd have a potential spot for me.
The apartment is great, being built in the 70’s there is more than enough room to swing a cat, unlike most modern apartments. There are two separate living areas, the kitchen with a dinning table lounge and room for more and a separate large living room. This means that we will not feel like we are too much in each others space and there is room to entertain. The bedroom for rent is large enough for a double or at a pinch queen sized bed. It was my daughters bedroom and currently has a desk, a single bed and build in wardrobe. The apartment has views and is very quiet and also gets a lot of sunlight as three walls are exposed, Ivanhoe East has loads of cafes, shops and a supermarket that is 50 meters away. The Yarra River parkland is a short walk and I like to go there most evenings/afternoons to get some exercise. If you do not have a car it should not be a problem as there are a buses nearby and the train station is a reasonable walk, alternatively some people ride to work in the city via the yarra trail. The area has lots of large houses and the people are polite and friendly, the flat is a bit tucked away and the suburb has it’s surprises if you are willing to walk it. As the crow fly’s it is 9.3 km from the middle of Melbourne CBD, Ivanhoe train station is 1.2 km walk and it cost me about $15 in a Uber to get home on a Saturday night from the city. Ivanhoe (near the train station), has a shopping centre , pub and more place to eat than I have tried. After speaking with my real-estate agent, unfortunately I cannot sub let meaning you will have to apply to be put on the lease. The rent is $195 per week and provided you are not wasteful bills will be about $55 including; cable Testra internet unlimited, electricity, gas and water. I like to say warm in winter and cool in summer meaning that is I tend to run the Air Conditioner a lot.
Hi, I'm currently studying Physiotherapy at La Trobe University. I'm looking to move out of res to an appartment next year (2019) closer to the city. Preferably a 2 bedroom unilodge I recently moved from Sydeny to Melbourne to study so I'm still new to the city and am keen to meet new people. I would admit I am shy at first but as you warm up. I love a good chat and just someone to keep me company. I would consider myself a clean person
Quiet finance professional seeking a solution to long rental agreements as I resettle from QLD to Melb. Clean, presentable, easy going.
Hello! I am a friendly and considerate 32yo, female. I do enjoy my personal time as well as sharing the occasional meal/cup of tea with my flatmates. I am often busy, and often smiling :D I like to have a quite cup of tea with some chocolate! And mostly cook vegetarian food, although I don't mind meat too much. I am currently working part-time as well as studying. I would like to live and contribute to a clean tidy home
Hello there. I am seeking a home to share with community minded, creative beings who are interested in co-creating a peaceful, harmonious, easy-going, tidy, respectful, loving and nurturing space together. I am currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and as well completing my Kundalini Yoga training program. My hobbies and interests are in : spirituality, philosophy, healing, well-being (meditation, yoga, nutrition, kirtan, natural therapies, etc..), conscious dance, sacred music, films, art, reading, being in nature, eating out, travel, singing and pretty much any workshop or book on self-development that allows me to learn more about myself, others and improve who I am as a person. I am honest, mature and respectful of others space, and also seeking the same from others. I am also drug and alcohol free, and would prefer a home of open, authentic, conscious connections and communication with one another. I am not fussed about living with others who enjoy a wine over a meal, but definitely not interested in a party house. I am interested in a quiet space where I can study, as well as, re-charge and unwind. I would enjoy a conversation, meal or outing with fun-loving housemates every so often. As well as a tidy space, where we all contribute in keeping the environment clean and tidy for all. A home near public transport services is a necessity, preferably train and tram services. An unfurnished room and additional storage space would be ideal. I am vegan and would prefer a vegan and/or vegetarian household. I have lived with meat-eaters before though that are respectful and understanding. I also volunteer in assisting with and marketing events within the conscious Melbourne community, as well as activism for the welfare and rights of animals. I am more than happy to live with cats, and the more the merrier :)
I'm 22, studying a Bachelor of Environmental Social Science and working part time as a barista so I'm usually up and about during the day. I'm pretty laid back and tidy, I enjoy a wine and a boogie every now and then and I'm big on gardening, reading and recycling. I have a little cat, Flo, she keeps to herself most of the time but gets along with most other humans and cats.
We all claim to be house trained right? I'm financially sorted, committed to my studies and my job (at a food rescue program) and I'm looking for my forever home :D I'd love to live with someone who has a cat, or someone who's ok with me adopting one, but this isn't a deal-breaker. I'm looking to move in September, but this is flexible - I just want to find the right person or people to live with :) - I'm happy to move into an already established home, or start a new tenancy. I don't smoke anymore, but I don't mind if you do. 42o friendly - My idea of a party is a bushdoof.
Hey guys! I'm a friendly, laid-back, outgoing personal who studies communications and PR, and works at an indoor trampoline park/nannies part time. Between uni and the two jobs I'm hardly ever home and when I am, I like to balance privacy with the occasional dinner/drink/catch up. I clean up after myself, am organised and respectful and love animals, so there's absolutely no issues if you have pets! Also a vegan, but don't mind if you cook or eat meat yourself!

I'm a Bangladeshi and migrated to Australia recently. I'm married, but relocated to Melbourne alone. By profession I'm a biotechnologist with a love for travelling, reading and trying new cuisines. I'm a friendly person, who has flat shared previously while studying in Malaysia and UK. I usually stay out of everyone's way, but am always up for a cup of coffee and chat.
Hi :) I’m Andy, in a nutshell: - Domesticaed Sound Engineer/Musician - Work full time, weird hours - Chipper, but introverted. - Coffee addict. - Funny, sacrcastic (but the good kind) caring, open minded politically lefty. - Non smoker/not into substances I once wrote on a job application that I could fit five marshmallows in my mouth. I once drew a cat on a VCE exam in an attempt to gain extra credit. I've lived out of home for about a year, so I know how to make my own toast. I pay my rent on time and as a techie I can fix your internet and tv when they break. If there's a message thread for house business I may flood it with cat and dog memes, fair warning. Move date and budget are somewhat flexible. Cheers :)
