Hi there! My name is Suelin and I'm looking for a room in a friendly sharehouse. I'm relatively new to Melbourne, having relocated from Newcastle in pursuit of career and other opportunities, and I'm looking forward to seeing what this city has to offer! I grew up in Sydney and then lived in Newcastle for most of my adult life, which I loved, but always wanted a chance to live in Melbourne. I love everything about this city! I still have so much left to explore. I will be studying nursing at La Trobe next year, and this year I'm going to focus on working, volunteering, and exploring the city. I'm friendly, easy going, and reliable. My most important values are honesty, compassion, and respect. I'm sociable but also quiet and clean. I have a few friends here but I prefer to go out and do things outside the house, so I don't have friends over often. And I'm always open to making new friends too! I love pets, especially cats, so would welcome a place with pets (cat in photo is not my own). My other interests/hobbies are music, film, gaming, exploring nature, riding my bike (although I'm out of practise), science and maths, plants, playing keyboard and guitar (again, out of practise), just exploring the city, comedy shows, trivia nights, card games, and reading. I'm not picky with location, but I'm hoping for a place near public transport. Either furnished or unfurnished works for me. If you think I would be a good fit for your home, get in touch and I can answer any questions you have and hopefully organise a meetup.
I'm very friendly! Working full-time with a gig that ends in mid April. Mostly keep to myself but happy to chat. I like cats, dumplings, watercolours etc.
Hi there. I am a professional single woman, no kids, 60 year old, looking for a quiet non-smoking, pet friendly mature independent female to half-share a 3-4 bedroom home in the Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Heidelberg Heights, Rosanna, Macleod, Watsonia area with a rental range of $600-$800 a week ($300-$400 each). I am fit, active, loyal, reliable, trustworthy and honest, clean and tidy. I have a small dog and cat, both well house trained. I enjoy the theatre, the arts, movies, catching up with friends for a walk, Sunday brunch, going to the markets. Love to walk. Walking/hiking is my thing. On the home front I live quietly, potter around the home, gardening, reading a good book. I am enjoy clean food, although I indulge when the occasion is right - Christmas...and love my hot cross buns. Looking for someone with similar lifestyle and interests to share a home with. I work full time in the CBD (Melbourne) in an executive administration role in the Victorian government. I have all furniture and whitegoods but can easily put into storage if needed.
Hi, my name's Justin, I'm a 38 year old barista, and musician in my spare time. I'm pretty quiet around the house, but like to make a little noise with my guitar when no one is around (I have weekdays off, so this usually works out pretty well). I've been renting with a married couple in a house they own for nearly 4 years, and moving on due to upcoming renovations of my room. Always considerate, tidy, clean, think communication is important (like to know if I'm doing something that annoys others around the house, yet pretty tolerant of other's quirks). Always on time with rent, and like to keep on top of my share of house chores. Friendly, love a chat, but sometimes keep to myself for a while to rejuvenate after a day of working with people in hospitality. I'm looking to move within a month, and am free to move pretty much as soon as something suitable comes up. Thanks, Justin.
I’m caring , trustworthy and also a very clean and respectful person. Have been looking after my grandparents for the last three years and now are in palliative care , So I’m looking to either share or team up with someone for minimum of 12 months . I’m quite busy with work and other commitments - usually work 7 days a week , I will also be going back to study part time mid year, I also volunteer for the RSPCA . I have 2 (cats) /fur babies of my own they are well behaved/trained and like to be outside, so somewhere with some greenery would be nice. I prefer to live with mature people/students/professionals/animal lovers
Hi there. I'm Sinead, moved to Melbs from country NSW. Looking for new place to call home. I'm with my beaaautiful blue heeler pup Billie. Shes the greatest dog ever born. Need a place with backyard and close to parks. We love nature and want to be really close to it! Hoping to find someone chill and friendly. We don't know anyone here so also hoping to find a friend in a housemate! I like beer a lot and chillin in the arvo sun eating good food and enjoying the finer things in life. Beer; tunes; wine + cheese; nature; walking in nature; picnicking... that kind of thing! I work shift work and long hours, but have 4 days off at a time. So would need someone that doesn't mind looking out for my pup while I'm at work. But you wouldn't mind. because shes a damn good dog! Ok. Hit me up if your keen. SEEYA
Hi! I moved to Melbourne in February of last year and have lived on campus for the past two years. This year I moved into an apartment with some other students, and we've had a great time living together. I'm clean, happy to do my share of cleaning and housework and pay my rent and bills on time each month. I do tend to keep to myself sometimes, but I love a good chat over some TV or while cooking. I'm friendly, considerate and clean up after myself. I'll always respect your privacy and leave you alone if need be. I understand that everyone needs time to themselves sometimes. I'm currently studying nursing at La Trobe and will be finishing my final year of uni in 2018. My classes are at the Austin Hospital, and so I'm hoping to live in a suburb nearby thats easily accessible by public transport. I also work casually at Big W, but am hoping to get a second job in the next month or so. I'm excited to finally live off campus and move in with some friendly roommates!
Hi! I’m a theatre nurse by profession and work really long hours so I’m looking for a neat and tidy place with lots of natural light to stay at which could be a sanctuary for me. Non-smoker, cleans after herself and respects others. Loves good food, pinot noir and movies. 😊 Not a big fan of yellow, amber or dim lights (however you want to call it) So if the room has that, take me off ur list of prospect housies. As much as I like chatting, please don’t expect much socialisation from me after a 12 hr shift. On any other days, feel free to even knock at my room. 😆
Hey Guys, i am Robert from Germany. I am going to study at La Trobe University in February/March. Looking for some nice flatmates to share a house or apartment. I am sporty, friendly and a clean person who accept the rules.
Hey :) I've just moved to Melbourne from the Sunshine Coast QLD (currently staying at my grandparents until I find a house). I'm working as a registered nurse in Heidelberg and looking for a house to call home not too far away from there. I love Mexican food, music festivals and a glass (or bottle) of wine (or vodka, cough) on the weekends. Being a social person, I would love somewhere where the house is like a bit of a family, but I also appreciate time to myself. I've lived out of home since I was 18 (including a little stint in Canada) and in that time I have never missed a rent payment. I was in my last house for 4 years and I only left to move down here so I'm pretty reliable as well. I do have a car, so somewhere with a place to park is necessary (even if it's just on the street), and I will need somewhere with a wardrobe as I managed to bring quite a bit of clothes down with me. Any questions (or medical advice), feel free to ask me but I'm an easy going, clean, fun young gal looking for the perfect house to start my life here in Melbourne! x
FORGET THE BLURRY PHOTO, IT'S THE BEST WE HAD! Haha Hey, it's Paddy and Emma and we're looking for an extra special housemate to join us! We haven't found a place yet however have been looking hard over the past two weeks in the areas stated above. We are keen to move out ASAP! A little about ourselves. Paddy is studying his Masters in Secondary Teaching this year and is currently working as a Paediatric Nurse. He is a sport fanatic and a passionate Carlton supporter. He loves travelling (34 countries and counting), keeping fit, hiking, reading, cooking and a good Netflix binge. Emma is as osteopath who also teaches dance! She is extremely social, loves meeting new people and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face each day. She loves travelling, always planning her next trip. We are both extremely efficient when it comes to cleaning so you’re guaranteed to have a tidy housemate. As much as we love a chat, we also enjoy my downtime. Although we promise not to be hermits. If you want to know more please contact us. We look forward to hearing form you!
Hi, I'm Sean, 24 years old, I work full time at my university and I also study full time. I'm into health & fitness, trying new restaurants, going to the movies, socialising & TV show binging. I'm a pretty chilled out guy and would be happy to make friends with whoever I end up living with.
*Update* Brass tacks: I'd pay max! $250 pw if that includes either bills, perfect location or both! - internet's just a bonus. All depends on the details! Fitzroy's my home so anywhere where there's a station or the city's within walking distance is blitz for me & my furbaby Taco! Taco is medium in size, house-trained, loved by everyone & will be my roommate -esp inside of the night- cos if someone was trying to break-in he would be a greatly appreciated asset in your eyes & he wouldn't be able to save your ass if he was kept outside! Add to that, he never stinks cos he thinks he's a cat & so cleans himself as such. Is great to live with; quiet & gentle & fun! You'll fall in love with him right from the start!^_^ Me, well recently, I was studying Visual Art in Bendigo (2017) which is from where we'll be moving. I want to come back to Melbourne cos I've missed the place &;the people much! I'll be studying at CAE + finding part-time work this year - I always get what I want from life cos I let nothing stop me. - Ideally looking for a 6 month stay or more. Clean, easy-going, friendly & like my people much the same & enjoy my own space ;) Love cooking communally every now & then- it's well fun! Enjoy happy-go-lucky/spontaneous/fun/chill people; love music, art, playing with my furry baby, being active, dancing, adventures, reading, & playing guitar, etc. Always cover living expenses on time! Can handle myself. - I've never been in debt & have paid rent etc since I was 17 years old; took care of horses since I was 9 (for the hard work appreciated I got to ride them at a cheaper price) & cared for all other animals since even younger (naturally I love them); first started paid work at 15; sold artwork at first exhibition aged 16; volunteer work with rescues/op shops/RDA; teaching guitar freelance; working behind bar, etc. & have always studied both in & out of school. So there's my work ethic all laid out for you, & for these reasons, I guess- lazy & boring people are a total turn off to be around for a second- let alone live with. So if you're boring/apathetic or think I'm gona split with Tac' don't even waste my time. Thanks much. Need to know any more, ask.. Naturally, if you don't love dogs there's no way -so in that case- don't ask ! Want to get back to melb asap ^_^ Advocate against animal abuse/cruelty & never buy products tested on animals - you'll be surprised by how many are!! See & share this link with your family & friends♡☆ N.B. fm wont accept urls so just search 'animals australia animal testing list' if you love animals & want to help put an end to the cruelty! Passionate about social justice; LGBT friendly; "perfect tenant" blablabla lalalove! ;) Luna♡☆ You can msg my mobile ~ wait no you can't cos flatmates is a whore (they'll prolly censor that too like free contact info) whatever. Fuck this. I'll upgrade later. Can't just move-out right yet anyway - but soon
I’m a Canadian exchange student. I love socializing and getting out for adventures, but also love having time to read and pursue creative endeavours. Looking for some mates to share a great place with!

It s large home beautifully situated at the top of a hill, with views over the local neighbourhood and to the city (from a small pocket of the backyard!). It would have been architecturally designed home in its' heyday, but now has a little bit of a retro vibe about it! A two car carport out the front leads through the front door into a large, bright living room with steps down to the dining room. The two bedrooms are at separate ends of the house, each with its' own bathroom. A spare room is used as an office/bike/board store and the laundry and kitchen are fully equipped. Great access for the North, South East, East and Central Melbourne positions!
Hey there! My name is Eeman and I will be moving to Melbourne in February and I am currently looking for people to team up or share a house with. I have been enrolled in Swinburne University, Melbourne for my Bachelor degree and I will be working part time as well. If one were to ask my friends to describe me they would describe me as a very pleasant, friendly, diverse and intelligent person. According to me one of my most distinctive characteristics is the miscellany of experiences I possess. I am a science student with panache for arts. I am a girl with technical aptitude and amazing management skills. I also hold a passion for travelling and understanding different cultures throughout the world. There is a special place in my heart for literature as I love to read and write occasionally as well. Photography is one of my hobbies and I absolutely love to capture the precious moments that life offers and preserve them as unforgettable memories. I consider myself to be a person who is great to live with since I happen to be very friendly and flexible by nature. I don't have any requirements and I myself am very neat and tidy and neither do I have any such activities that would bother anyone. I am expected to be busy with University and work mostly and won't be home for quite some time. I am only looking for good friends to stay with me, have meals with me, hang out and enjoy. I am a very independent person who appreciates time to herself - and I am respectful of other people's space. Therefore, I won't be causing you any trouble or invading your privacy. Also, I don't mind sharing house jobs AT ALL. :) I assure that whoever stays with me will have a memorable and trouble free time. If you feel that you've found the suitable person to live with, please leave me a message! Cheers! x
My name's Carolyn 🙂 I’m a 27 year old, full time student. I study Speech Pathology in the city. I've recently moved out of a full time care position. I’m looking for something soon, long-term, and a safe place that feels like home. I've had previous sharing experience, so I come house trained. I’m neat, friendly and easy-going... And an open communicator. I enjoy BBQs, going to gig’s, shared TV watching, reading, tennis, films, playing and listening to music. I love nature and the outdoors... Music is very much a love of mine, I have a few instruments and play them, but I'm considerate with timing and noise (have headphones!) I'm very much into respecting others, their space and peaceful living. I like to be involved and contributing to a community feel of a place, but also really enjoy my alone time some days. I have a cat called Froot who'd be coming with me. He’s fully house trained and mostly an indoor guy because he’s scared of birds. We go for outside walks 🍃🐈 🐾on his lead... He also turns into a good alarm clock if you ever feed him. I'm a relatively busy person that likes focusing on my studies. I volunteer at the Children First Foundation, and have a boyfriend who's place I stay at sometimes. I'm financially reliable and pay my bills on time... I receive government funding while I'm studying that covers rent. As well as currently looking for a new job on top of this. I'm not looking for a party house. I don't smoke or do drugs. I like a scotch every so often with a movie. I'm LGBT+ friendly. Easy to get along with. I like being environmentally conscious, but don't push my views on others. NRSA approved. Have a valid police check... ? I'm looking for places with aircon, dishwashers, etc... Something easy to clean. With a small garden if available. I come with: - My bedroom furnishings. - L shaped couch. - Small coffee table. - A rug. - a coffee machine. - A desk. - A bookcase. - An outdoor table (could be used as a dining table). - Small outdoor bar fridge. - Sound system. - TV. - TV unit. - Playstation 2 & 3. - Heaps of 64 games. - An extensive DVD collections. - Kitchenware. - Plants :) (these can be kept in storage if space doesn't permit). Anything else you'd like to know please feel free to ask! So yeah, send me a PM and we'll grab a coffee or something It would be great to hear from you! Thanks, Carolyn.
A pretty chilled individual. Final year law student at La Trobe University. Working part time for a firm in the city. Likes the outdoors and country. Been share house trained. Ideally I want to find a place with a long term lease where I consider home in the north eastern suburbs. I enjoy looking after a place and keeping it clean, warm, and welcoming. I have great references from different real estate agents and housemates with whom I have lived with over the years in the area.
