Hi, I am looking for a room to rent in Mackay. Semi-local, originally from Bowen and have been living here for almost 2 years. I am clean, tidy, quiet, non-smoker and don’t drink. While I am more of an introvert, I also like getting to know my housemates - having a chat, watching a movie, or having a games night every now and then. I have experience living in share houses and can appreciate a cleaning schedule to share out the chores. I am hoping to live with similar housemates. I work full time as an Embryologist and am able to supply an employment reference and housemate/landlord references if needed. Happy for a shorter term or 6 month least to start with to make sure I’m a fit for the house but ultimately looking for long term. Hoping to keep to a $250-300/week max budget (including bills), but am flexible for the right place. Ideally I’d prefer an ensuite or own bathroom but am open to sharing. Aircon is a must. Off street parking preferable, but I am ok with on street as long as there’s availability and no restrictions. I have my own bedroom furniture and a fridge + bar freezer as I like to meal prep. I love dogs (will spoil them with plenty of pats, treats, play and toys 🥰) but am allergic to cats. My Mum may visit on occasion. Flexible on move date, open to team ups.
