Hi! My name is Robyn and my girlfriend is Aisling. We're both Irish, but we've been here in Australia for the last year and a half on a working holiday visa. We lived and worked in Perth in 2024. In January this year we set off driving south from Perth and continued all around the south coast and up the east coast as far as Mackay. And that's where we are hoping to settle for the foreseeable future. A little bit about ourselves. I'm starting work as a project engineer in Mackay. Aisling is an ecologist and has a masters in marine and coastal management. She's currently tying down a job in Mackay also. We enjoy relaxing in our free time. Getting out for a walk or a cycle is our idea of time well spent. And obviously being new to the area, we're excited to get out and explore any hikes or cool beaches. Around the house we are quiet, neat and clean. We're both good for tidying up after ourselves in the kitchen. Any downtime about the house we generally just spend it reading or watching a bit of TV. Also I usually can't keep myself away from doing any DIY handyman jobs about the house if they need doing.
