Right in the smack middle of Lygon and Sydney Road, both are easily walk able from the house. House is separated by two floors, upstairs is basically all three rooms + toilet + shower/bath room (we have a shower and a bath in there basically). The room: The $175 p/w room is a relatively small room that can fit a double bed and a relatively small desk, perfect fit for a student! Plenty of parking area outside if you do have a vehicle too, if you need a larger spot for a desk, there is a nook near the stairs in which you can put your desk in too as your allocated that space with the smaller room (the photo with the desk in it) Downstairs is the living area, Pretty big living room area, already filled with couches,tables and rugs etc but we are losing the TV so if you've got one that'd be perfect otherwise we can all chip in to buy one! (i'm not a big TV guy though, so i'm not fussed if you don't really want a TV either) Large kitchen area, plenty of table tops and slide pantry cabinet that can easily accommodate three-four people. We've got an oven, microwave and stove top obviously. Losing our dinner table unfortunately, so if you've got one that'd be perfect! The 2nd toilet is downstairs that leads to the huge outdoor area we've got. Possible BBQ with outside table and all the chairs you probably want to lounge outside either by yourself or with guests. My housemate has a little garden thing, so you can grow your own too with the large patio we've got! We've also got a garage that we basically use as a spare room/storage room as well (this is excluding the parking spot next to the door, it's basically right in front of it) so you can chuck your extra stuff here too. Barkley Square is extremely close which contains Coles, Woolworths, Big W with other grocery shopping needs there available e.g. JB Hi Fi, making it extremely convenient if you need to go shopping anywhere nearby. 2-3 blocks away on Sydney Road is Bunnings and alot of amazing restaurants right near the house. The place has this beautiful gum tree out the front and some old charm. Everything works well, and there's a bit of room for giving some love to the home. There's some nice outside spaces. The walls in the bedrooms are a remarkable pink/purple and the living room is this incredible green. I didn't do it, and it may need some work one day. I'd love for you to make your space your own. There's underfloor heating that works really well, but I tend to use when it's pretty cold. The bathroom has a lino floor and its edges are a little rough, but it's clean. There's a third bedroom that's a little smaller, which I'd love to keep for family & friends to stop by, including yours. I've got a little futon. Otherwise it's open as a study space too. The floorboards in there need a little work, but it's functional. A garage sits out the back, which opens onto the street but at the moment only locks from the inside and is probably mostly for storage. So parking is on the street, which is essentially always available. And there's a bit of space as a back yard, which is bricked. There's a lemon tree and what I think is a lime tree, both learning how to produce fruit. I've got a fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and things like that. Your own stuff is welcome, but we might have to put some stuff into the garage.
