Hi, This is HongMi Kim from South Korea.
I am an incoming student at UTS in July for commencing my master degree. Thus, arriving in Sydney on July 1st.
I am looking for a place that's within 30 minutes of the school UTS by public transportation.
It would be better if the place is for single occupancy which is private use or a master room with own bathroom in a shared place.
I hope to inspect a property on July 1st and move into as soon as possible, as my university program begins in July.
For your reference below, I believe I would make a reliable and respectful tenant :
- Financial readiness & responsibility: My English-language bank statement demonstrates that I have sufficient funds for the initial months. I’ll also begin working part-time once I arrive in Sydney. If needed, I can provide additional financial documents from my parents to support the application.
- Clear and complete documentation: What I could include in my application are:
1. Completed application form
2. Passport scan and proof of identity
3. Bank statement (and parent co-guarantee documents, if required)
4. Non-smoking status and no pets
5. Any future documents if required, etc
-Strong personal qualities: I am reliable, tidy, and respectful of neighbors and property. As a student, I value peace and will treat your home with the utmost care .
- Commitment to lease & smooth communication:
1. Prospective Move-in date: July 4, 2025
2. Lease duration: Minimum 12 months (extendable if desired)
***My mother will stay with me until July 27 (I will pay any additional rent if applicable, I would be glad to cover them)

I am genuinely enthusiastic about this property—it’s pretty close to campus and ideal for my lifestyle as a student. I hope to make it my long-term home.
