I am a mature and responsible 28 year old Canadian woman looking to have an incredible experience in Australia. I currently live alone in downtown Toronto and have never had a problem retaining employment and paying bills. I'm looking for a break from my current life in my home city before entering a new university program in September 2018. I have been working in the hospitality industry for quite some time now, and intend and holding down a solid job during my stay in Australia. Aside from that, I have plenty of money saved up to ensure that I can make the most of my working holiday. Looking forward to a change of pace and hopefully a change of perspective!
Pretty chilled out, as long as you respect me we will get along fiiiiine. 20 year old, country town gal (NSW), studying Marketing/Graphic Design at ACU. I am working at a bookstore in my spare time, and when I am not at uni/work there is a good chance I am at home. I just want to emphasise now that I am not looking for a party house (or someone who smokes bc I have been blessed with the lungs of a fish out of water). So if this is you, I wish you the best but it's a no from me today. I enjoy reading, art and graphic design - and of course a good Netflix binge when feelin' a little stressed. Love a good laugh and good coffee (probably too much). Just looking for someone who cleans without having to be 'asked' and isn't a reflection of my last roomies *cries*. I've had fairly horrible experiences in the past with bad roommates, so if you know you are that person please cut all ties with me now! I would appreciate someone who cleans up their shiz, respects their space. If you've read this far and I haven't scared you off, hit me up! I swear I am not an annoying person, just sick of people who don't/won't do their part and make living in Melbourne hell for me 💕
My name is Michael and I consider myself as a tidy, clean, respectful and friendly guy who is looking for a place in the city for the long term. I am looking for great, clean and tidy housemates who are also friendly, with a bubbly personality. My life's principles are quite simple: I love helping others and I always do whatever I can to make others smiling as I love spreading love and happiness around people. I also love cooking and making desserts for people. I'm sure you won't be disappointed about trying some of my dishes. I am looking to move in a place from the 25Th of January, where I can call it HOME for the next few months or probably year. Everything depends on the fact that we like each other or mostly you will feel comfortable to live with me and like my lifestyle and personality. I am also very easy going and consider myself as a funny, friendly. respectful person to live with. I have been living in sharehouse for 4 years and got many great feedback from landlords and previous housemates. As long there is trust and respect between people, any relationship will be amazing and work out really well. Looking for a place where I can call home with nice, lovely and friendly people, either girls or guys doesn't matter to me and also any nationality for me is ok. I respect everyone and I love a multicultural environment. I do care a lot about people as I always try to give my 110% to everyone, so I am not looking only for a place but I would love to live with people who I can consider my friends or at least having a chance to build a relationship with them, otherwise without mutual trust and willingness to help each other there won't be any purpose of living together (that's my personal belief). Some people say that I have a rare personality and heart but I'm just a common guy who loves helping others and I would do whatever I can for cheering up someone. So many other things to discover about me but you are free to ask anything you need/want to know. If anyone knows anyone who is looking for a place, your help would be much appreciated. You will be also "lucky" to try my cooking. I'm not a chef but I do put love, passion and give my 110% of myself in whatever I do. So you would probably be able to try my special dessert "Chocolate Salami". I know it sounds weird for the name, but I can guarantee you will love it. Thanks, MIchael
Hello our potential flatmates !!! I'm 26 and have worked around the globe (half maybe)for my business for last 4 years and now am studying Finance at UniMelb . My partner, Puja, 29, is a LSE graduate, works with BCG, Melbourne in the Professional Development space, loves reading and enjoys home cooked meals ( generally cooked by me)! She likes to keep the common spaces orderly and clean, not a big party person but is always company for a meal (she is mostly pescatarian) and a drink. Also, takes out time for Yoga and fitness classes. I love to play a sport in my free time (squash, cricket, table tennis). You will usually find me cooking (fish or chicken) on weekend if at home, or playing cricket with my club. Never back down from grabbing a drink at the neighbourhood bar. I do my share of house chores on the weekend as I'm mostly staying late at the University on weekdays. Looking forward to some cultural and ideology exchange with flatmates.
Hi all, I'm a 25 year old professional who has just returned home to Melbourne after spending 6 months working and living in Jakarta on a secondment. I'm very eager to move into a house that is close to the CBD. I enjoy hiking, movie nights, live music and sports. I'm clean, responsible and respectful. Looking for housemates that I could hang out with over a drink or a series of West World. Keen to hear about rooms you have available and would hope to move into the perfect room ASAP. Cheers, Dylan
I'm a recent Uni graduate (bachelor of Arts, specialising in fashion) looking to move to Melbourne for better opportunities. My plan is to move, find work doing whatever at first and then go up the career ladder in my own field when opportunity allows. I'm tolerant of other cultures, lifestyles, etc. I mind my own business normally. I'm pretty quiet, I don't drink to excess, I have never smoked and never taken illegal drugs. All I ask for is a room, bed, wardrobe, drawers and somewhere to put my computer. I would prefer a private room in an existing share house. I will consider room sharing but only if the place is VERY CLOSE to the CBD or in it. Sorry, not interested in teamups. I would rather live with people of similar age but age isn't necessarily a dealbreaker. Dealbreakers: - smoker who smokes inside - illegal drug use - intolerant / nasty
Hi guys! I am a 26 years old french girl who have been living in Melbourne for a few months now. I work full time as an architect and I am looking for a new place to call home and for some awesome flat mates ! I love to cook huge meals for the people I love, hanging out with my friends, going to see music live, exploring my neighborhood... I am usually pretty calm during the week and like going out on the weekends. I will never say no to sharing a drink or a meal while having a good chat ! Please get in touch if you think I could be your next flat mate !
Personally I am pretty easy going, am Australian but have lived in the Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, France and Sweden, like music, travel, reading, vegetarian food (I don't care what you eat, though. I mean if it's really weird I might judge, but I promise I'll do it silently), podcasts, trying to keep up my French, running and entertain myself by following the trainwreck that is American politics right now. Professionally I'm an electrical engineer (but one of the ones who talks to people, I swear!) going to be working at Telstra next year - if you've had a terrible experience with them I am so sorry, please don't hold it against me! I've previously house-shared with one other person and 9 other people before so have a decent range of experience, am now looking for either a room in a household where there's some kind of weekly cleaning schedule, or to team up with someone and rent a place nearish the CBD.
Hi! I'm Celeste from the US. I'm looking for a furnished room in a friendly household for the next 9 - 10 months. I love to cook, jog, and read. I am very sociable, clean/organized and conscious of others around me. I'm looking for a relaxed environment with friendly housemates.
I’m italian, I’m a chef and already been in melb last month for holiday. I fell in love with the city and now I’m coming back to work. I'm 26 and I'm a very clean person, love listening to music, reading books and explore the city. I'm a smoker but want to quit, and love keeping myself busy with gym, work, hanging out.
I am turning 21 this year in August and I am new to Melbourne! I am neat, funny (I'd like to think so), and also very sociable, if you are. I think I'd be able to click with mostly anyone! oh! and I'm from Singapore, I'll be studying in the RMIT City Campus for 4 years so I hope I meet fun and nice people! Cheers!
I'm an easygoing, early 30s guy working full-time in university marketing who likes to play a bit of music on the side. Other main interests are politics/current affairs, food/wine, movies/tv shows (especially comedy) and travelling.
Moving back to Melbourne after 2 years in Sydney to take up a new full time role in the medical education field. I am a social person and love to head out for a beer at the local pub, or for lunch/dinner anywhere new. Love meeting new people, can be quiet at first but warm up to people pretty fast. Looking for housemates that like to chat while cooking meals, perhaps hit up a pub trivia session once in a while or have an afternoon of beer drinking on the weekend. I'm not new to Melbourne have lived there many times and in a variety of suburbs. Have lived in many share houses throughout my life in my home town; Warrnambool, Melbourne, London and Sydney. I know how to treat a house and my flatmates with respect and hope to find others who are the same. I have a 2 gorgeous 12 month old black cats named shadow and lunar they are both pretty smoochy and are toilet trained. Whom I would like to bring with me. I'd be happy to meet a few peeps and create a new share house together. I have a whole house of furniture and would be happy share whatever is needed in a share house situation otherwise I can store the items elsewhere.
I am looking for a shared accommodation in the Melbourne area (less than 10 km from CBD). I am a 28-year-old female from Europe studying and working, so I am looking for a place to study and relax. I am not looking for a party house, just a place where I will feel like home. I am quiet and always clean after myself, I do not smoke. On my days off I like to go out for a walk, go to the gym, watch Netflix and read. I also love animals so this is not a problem if you have nice pets to share the flat with. I work in hospitality so I will leave home early and come back late. I am looking for a place around 140-170 dollars a week, bills and internet included, and will be able to move in around 20th February or later. I'd rather share a room with a female. Please email me if you have a place to offer and I will get back to you. Cheers !
I am sociable, friendly and cleanly. I respect personal space, but also am always up for a chat and to meet new people.
Hey I'm Emma, I'm 24 and working part time as a telephone addiction counsellor. I'm looking to move into the inner north near where I work! I'm a big fan of cooking good food and try my best to live a healthy balanced lifestyle. I enjoy riding my bike around Melbourne, getting to galleries and travelling (when I can). I tend to be introverted but getting along with my housemates is important to me, so I'd be keen to have a glass of wine and a laugh at the end of the day. Hoping to find some like minded people to live with!
I have been living in shared house/room for a year, so I know how to be responsible for the common areas and respect housemates’ space. I’m an open-minded person. I will be outside most of the time.
I'm an engineer from Newcastle. I like the outdoors and I'm generally quite active during the week with a variety of sports usually followed by a nice meal or craft beer :) At home I like to occasionally cook something new, play a bit of guitar or just have a chat. I like to think that I'm trustworthy, easy going and tend to equal other people's efforts. Looking to share with similar people who are active and sociable, but also respect each other's space and privacy.
I'm Dennis from South Korea and graduated from Melb uni last year. Currently, I'm working and doing further studies (not in uni) to get a PR. Currently, I'm living in the city and I need new place from 10th of Feb.
I'm an artist from Melbourne. I love painting, gardening and music. I like sharing meals and cooking for others. I'm looking for a place that I can live in and also have a private space to paint and make art. im very respectful of others spaces and try to keep clean and enjoy clean environments. I'm responsible with making sure payments are made on time for rent and bills. I'm obsessed with flowers and gardens and love filling my space with greenery. I don't have pets but love animals. Looking for somewhere secure and hopefully longterm. Ready to move in asap pretty much.
I work full time in hospitality, as well as studying Animal studies at Box Hill Tafe. I’m a fun and outgoing person who enjoys meeting new people. I’m a busy woman, but enjoy my down time, weather that’s chilling with my room mates watching a movie, or chilling by myself (after I have got all my assessment done) hehe. I’m a fairly clean person, expecially when it comes to shared living spaces (maybe not so much my room hehe)
