Room available in East Melbourne sharehouse. Rent is $806 a month plus internet/bills. Please note, only apply if you are looking for long term rent and you would need to go on the lease. Move in date is September 29. The room available is quite big, has good sun light, huge built in wardrobe, and can easily fit a queen/king size bed with heaps of room to spare. The apartment itself isn't luxurious but has everything you need including a shared living room with heating/air con, balcony, kitchen, bathroom/laundry/toilet, and garage or off street parking is also available. We like to keep the place clean and tidy and hope you can do the same. The apartment is super cosy and is in an amazing location, right next to Fitzroy Gardens, Melbourne CBD, Richmond, and Collingwood - Flinders Street Station is only a 5 minute tram ride! Only a 1 minute walk to Jolimont station and the number 48 and 75 tram stops. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants around the apartment but Bridge Road is also a 5 minute walk away that contains a haven of shopping, bars, and restaurants.
My housemate and I have been sharing for 2 years coming up this December but unfortunately (for me) she has been offered a position in England. Therefore, there will be one bedroom available to rent with a flexible start date, any time from December onward. This place is cosy but such a great space, with lots of exciting places to go all within walking distance. The room itself is unfurnished, has 2 built in wardrobes and a large window. There's a shared bathroom, large dining/lounge room and on street parking available if needed. I'm looking for someone to live with who enjoys spending time with their housemate, values a clean shared space and is respectful of others. Following the football won't be a bad thing either! The location of the apartment doesn't get much better, the lifestyle which comes with place is perfect. Key landmarks which are all walking, or if you prefer a short tram ride away, include Bridge Road, Fitzroy Gardens, Smith St, CBD, Southbank, Jolimont Train Station and of course one of Australia's (or the world's) greatest sporting stadium The Melbourne Cricket Ground. Looking forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you may have about myself or the property! Also, I'll upload more photo soon! Josh
I am tidy, respectful and positive. I am a lawyer and also studying my masters. I am currently living in Canberra and live in an apartment which I own. I have lived with roomies and also solo. I am moving to Melbourne for work in early October. I am looking forward to a lifestyle change. I love to have a laugh and enjoy getting to know people. I like to be social and would be looking for a housemate(s) that would like to share a meal, have a chat or so. Maybe hit the town for a boogie or so. In my free time I love trying new restaurants, cafes and bars. I like to keep busy and will make sure to give my housemate(s) some space. I go to the gym most evenings and on the weekends I am usually out and about with friends and family. I also enjoy some quiet time and enjoy reading, cooking or watching movies.
I am clean, neat and tidy but also very easy going - Not much phases me. I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends but also enjoy my own time. I like to contribute to household chores and maintenance and will go out of my way to help others if needed. Some of my interests include live music, playing guitar, playing basketball, baking and going for walks. I am coffee dependent. I also recently discovered an interest in puzzles. I have a few plant babies and will happily care for yours as my own if ever needed.
Hey, I have just moved back to Aus after spending 18 months abroad in London working as a nanny. I am planning on moving to Melbourne within the next month working as a florist. I am clean and tidy, enjoy a lazy day in or going out for dinner and drinks.
NOT INTERESTED IN SHARED ROOMS. I stay in dorm rooms when I’m travelling, but would like my own bedroom at home, thanks! 😳 Hi. I’m Maddi. 🤗 I’m 26, non smoker and don’t have any pets - but I’ll happily cuddle yours if you’ve got any! I always clean up after myself, pay my bills on time and am considerate of others schedules. I’d like roommates who do the same, but are also open to occasionally spending some time together. I enjoy going out to gigs and having a drink or two. But I’m also happy staying home for Netflix marathons. I’m currently studying Content Creation at Collarts in Collingwood (how’s that alliteration?), so I’m looking for a place nearby or with good public transport options. Would love to have wooden floorboards, but that’s obviously not essential. I just really enjoy that aesthetic. My budget is around $200 a week. Approx $870 a month. Can do a little more if the place is perfect though. Flexible with length of stay. Will consider short and long term options!
Hi! I'm Kaihla, I'm 28 and have just made the move down to Melbourne. Originally from Queensland and most recently living in Sydney, I've continued my migration south and am looking for somewhere to call my new home! I work as a Bid Manager in the insurance industry, so just the usual Monday to Friday deal. I can work long hours, so weeknights are usually spent at work or home eating a quiet dinner and watching some TV or Netflix. My weekends are usually spent brunching, shopping, being out and about, watching sport, going to gigs or catching up with friends over some beers and food. Occasionally my weekends are spent in bed watching Netflix, napping and reading for 2 days straight instead. I'm a well-practised house sharer, having lived in arrangements like this for over 10 years. I'm quiet and tidy, respectful of people and their belongings. I usually become quite good friends with my housemates and like having a chat, but I won't force my friendship on anyone who doesn't want it!
Hi, my name is Olga and I am looking for a room in an apartment (NOT a party house) with own bathroom (preferably) in eastern suburbs (not necessarily very close to the CBD I don't mind to live 30 min away, as long as there is a public transport near by) I am very tidy, clean and respectful housemate. I have a quite busy lifestyle, but when I am at home I prefer to relax and chill, watch tv and Netflix. I am sociable and will be happy, occasionally, to share a dinner and cheeky wine or go out for a couple of drinks :) I am looking for a place to call home and prefer to live with 1 or max 2 housemates, mature and respectful. NO pets please, as I am allergic to cats! If you have any questions, please send me a msg:) P.S. as I am overseas until 5th of October please contact me via website msg:) thanks!
CLEAN, TIDY, RESPECTFUL, CONSIDERATE, TRUSTWORTHY and FRIENDLY. I'm someone who has an OPEN MIND, a FRIENDLY PERSONALITY but likes their own space. I am easy to mingle with , understanding , caring , reasonable to live, kind of a person. I don't go around poking my nose into other people's business , but if anyone needs my help, I'll be there first one to help. I just completed my bachelor of engineering in India and I'm planning to do my masters in UniMelb, Feb 2019 intake. During my free time, I usually hang out with a couple of friends and have some beer and chill, I love watching and playing football. I love socializing and exploring new places.
Currently working in Adelaide but moving to Melbourne to commence study ( fashion marketing course f/t) in Collingwood next February. I am an easygoing, friendly and respectful person who is looking to share with preferably another girl who is friendly and sociable however not a complete party animal. I enjoy playing sports ( tennis and volleyball ) but also into fashion so love shopping! I enjoy going out for coffee and looking forward to exploring more of Melbourne. Please email me if interested - ideally would be looking for another person to share with but will consider sharing with 2 other girls.
29 year old professional working 9-5. Recently moved to Melbourne looking for a place in Richmond/South Yarra area. Easy going, tidy and housetrained. Don't mind having a few beers and a cook up in the kitchen during the week but generally keep to myself at home.
Hi all! My name is Thomas and I'm a 20-year-old exchange student at Swinburne Uni from the beautiful Netherlands! I am looking for a spot in a shared apartment with a bunch of fun roommates to spend my days here in Melbourne. Besides studying, I like to go out running, play football (the real football ;) ), explore the country and have a few drinks or dinner with friends. As a roommate, I do value being on my own from time to time, but often enough I'm up for any of the actvities listed above :) Let me know if you have a room opening up for the upcoming months! As long as the apartment is somewhat near Hawthorn, I do not have many demands and I'm very flexible concerning moving in and out dates.
Hello all💕 My name is Holly Colvin and I'm now looking to rent a private room in a houseshare/apartment/flat etc. My budget is $170 a week including bills. Looking for accomodation for at least 6 month lease or more 🙂 looking to rent anywhere close to Melbourne City/CBD and the outskirts of the city north/east/south/west Melbourne. I'm fun, kind, easy going, clean, respectful, organised, always down for a chat but also happy to keep to myself if you like. I'm 20 years old, have lived and rented in Melbourne for 2 years and am lucky to have 3 awesome jobs. I work at a theatre restaurant and as a dance teacher and performer. I have a car but would love to have a place where PT is accessible! Love living a healthy, relaxed lifestyle so DM me if you've got a room🌸 Thanks kindly
I decided to move from Canada in November of 2016 and have elected to spend my time in Australia in the city of Melbourne! I'm quite clean but not an absolute neat freak as I don't mind organized clutter in the right places, and I'm remarkably easy going and laid back. I'll definitely be a very social house mate and I'm always down for a vino or six after work. I currently manage MANIAX Melbourne and am going on a student visa November/December 2018. The plan is to finish school and get my PR, so I'm not going to be a flaky backpacker that leaves unexpectedly to chase an adventure. Before I left Canada I was a fitness instructor at a trampoline park, so I'm a bit of a health nut with a pasta problem, and before that I was an antiques consigner, so I love design and really old things. I'm extremely passionate about music, listening and recording, but my favourite pastimes are split between napping, working out and drunk baking. Beyond that I actually own my own house back in Canada (I'm currently renting it out) and I believe that that gives me a different perspective on renting with consideration to getting the rent in on time, as well as taking care of the place. Also, I make a mean batch of pancakes, I can supply the Canadian maple syrup, AND I have a Costco card. You cannot go wrong.
Hi! I’m Nikki, down to earth, fun, clean & respectful. I’m looking to move in with like minded room mates. I generally work 8-6pm and keep fairly busy outside of work, mostly catching up with friends and playing sport. Looking forward to hearing from you.
23 year old, originally from Melbourne, currently returning after working in Central Victoria for a few years... working full time at a Global IT company. Very tidy and respectful, always up for a vino, love live music, exploring the outdoors, and watching sports. I also have a car so will need somewhere to park (on or off street is fine). I work full time in docklands during the week and part-time on the weekend. Very busy lifestyle and barely home generally with having to travel for work also.
I am a final semester Law student, set to be working full-time in October. I also currently work part-time in fashion retail. I am a social and outgoing person who also respects chill time and a clean environment. I am always down for a house dinner or cheeky wine on a Friday! I love cooking, staying healthy and hanging out with friends on the weekends. I am easy going and get along with basically everyone. I have lived in share house situations for 5 years now so understand the ins and outs of living with others.
I have been flat sharing with others for the past 10 years, I am a very good housemate, considerate, clean, quiet, pays rent on time, I am fun to hang out with and also happy to stay quietly in my room. I am a working professional, very driven, active. I go to gym a few times weekly and join online meet up groups for events and activities. Generally a happy easy going Chinese girl and love living in Melbourne.
I'm Canadian, but I've been living in Melbourne for 4 years. I'm extremely tidy, and request others be the same. My background is in Finance and Law, and I currently work full time for a software company with a few side projects on the go. Generally I split my time 50/50 working from home and the office - so I won't get in the way of other activities in the house. But that being said, I do need a house that is relatively peaceful. While I enjoy a nice dinner party, I do not want to live in a party house. I'm an early morning person - generally in the office before most people are awake so I can be home by early afternoon to relax when the day allows. I like to cook when I have the time, so a good kitchen would be great. Looking for a house/flat share, preferably with only 1 other person, and preferably a working professional. Or also a team up - I have enough furniture to furnish the place too. My current apartment has a spare bedroom which we use for storage, and also a spare double bed I have so guests/friends can stay over when needed. It would be great to have a spare bedroom again though it's not mandatory. I'm looking for a move date are mid-November but can be flexible.
