Hey! I'm Joyce from Brunei, but English is my first language. I am 24, very friendly, open minded and easy going. I'm studying Physiotherapy at La Trobe Bundoora and plan on getting a part time job once I've settled into a place. I'm clean and mindful of others, I respect their space and am pretty independent, doing my own thang.
Hi I'm Dana, I'm 27 and currently working full time in North Melbourne M-F as a Client Relationship Manager. I'm pretty social the weekends, enjoy a wine or two with friends and a yummy restaurant ... every now and then I attend a CX works class at the gym and pat myself on the back for the next month. I have been living in a share house situation for over 6 years and am used to sharing space with people and keeping it neat and tidy.
My name's Angus, I'm 24 years old, and I'm looking for a place to call home for the foreseeable future. To make ends meet I work in a hotel concierge team in the city. Think Grand Budapest Hotel with more adventure and intrigue, crossed with Fawlty Towers with more slapstick, & you've got the right idea of what I do. Shift hours for this often means early rises & early bedtimes, but that's fine. I'm a fun, caring, considerate, reliable housemate who and would be a great addition to your home. In my spare time I enjoy exploring the city, writing, telling myself to start reading the collection of books I'm accumulating, crashing bicycles, cooking (devoted follower of those legends, Jennifer and Clarissa), and catching up with friends. I'm not a huge partier, and much prefer a quiet night in with a cup of tea & a good book to going out & raging. I do have a car so somewhere to park would be an advantage, but it's not 100% crucial. Please let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know.
Hey, I’ve just moved from London to Melbourne, arrived on the 18th of March and have three weeks in an Airbnb before I’m homeless! I'm 27, which sounds scary now it's down on paper. I'm a secondary school English teacher and have just been granted a permanent residency. I decided to move in March to coincide with Term Two, so I should begin working within a few weeks of arriving. I plan to do relief work while I get settled and then move on to a more permanent role. I'm clean, tidy, responsible, dependable, try to do one nice thing a day. (Well, one random act of kindness a day, but hopefully more than one nice thing in total!) Aside from my job, which I love, I’m really sporty - a huge football (soccer to you guys?) fan and keen for someone to teach me all about AFL. I love being active, outside, exploring, generally being busy. Not shy of an evening on the sofa or a good competitive board game, after a long day either though. As I’ll know absolutely nobody when I first arrive I'd be grateful for some friendly housemates, who might be able to introduce me to Melbourne and help me get to know some people, just settle in really. So, looking for friends to live in a home with, not simply looking to occupy a spare room. Hope to hear from you, (and meet you!) soon.
Hello everyone! I am Leonard from Singapore I’d decided to quit my job in the aviation industry in to experience how it’s like to live and work in Australia. I would be arriving at Melbourne during September 2018 under a working holiday scheme. I am looking to rent a Private room (preferably with bathroom) in a shared accommodation during my stay. I have a huge interest in sharing and exploring cultures, humble, organised and friendly and looking for like minded mates! My hobbies include travelling, backpacking, trekking, cooking, reading & watching movies. I am open minded and always strive to understand and compromise people in their opinions. I also do enjoy having nice cocktails during weekends. I understand that my arrival date is still premature, hence, it’s difficult to commit a deal right way, but for those who happen to have a vacancy in September, It would be nice for us to keep in touch and make an opportunity for us to be future flatmates! Once committed, I would be considering for a longer stay in Melbourne as it’s my
I came to Melbourne for a startup leadership program. I am originally from Hong Kong, but I moved from London. I am culturally American, but I am not American. I am on Work Holiday visa right now. Just got offered to be coach in residence for incubator program. I am also setting up my business here. I am clean and considerate. I respect other people's space. Since I lived through many cities and continents, I adapt really quickly to new environments. Out of all the places. I love being in Melbourne. I love being in nature, and have a wide range of interests. Looking for a start date at 3/28 or after. Hope to get to know you soon! :)
I am a peruvian student who dreams about studying acting in Australia, and this year I will make it possible. I am organized, accepting and try to have as much fun as I can in every possible way. This will be my first step in my adventure and I am looking for people that will like to be a part of it. I come with a fat cat that follows me everywhere I go
I'm James, a 26 yr old kiwi working in advertising. I have been in Melbourne 2 years and am looking for a sweet room in a central suburb and some cool people to live with. I'm a laid back, social guy who appreciates things to be clean and tidy, but I'm always up for having friends over during the weekend. I work in advertising, so if I'm busy you may not see me for a couple of days, but at the end of the week I'll be keen for a few drinks and a good laugh. I enjoy eating out and going to gigs, as well as making the effort to squeeze the odd run in too.
Hi potential housemate, I'm an architect - I work weekdays. Weekends I chill or take off somewhere memorable. Clean, Courteous/considerate, kind, compassionate... Flexible depending... Good quality food is life. Quote mum: "Knowledge (education) is power". Quote dad: "The harder you work the luckier you get". I would like a buddy who; - knows how to use focus pads... - tai chi/Kung fu/boxing/martial arts... - knows good food... - has an interesting job/likes their job/doesn't hate their life bc of their job - likes good music, travel, plans & planes - a singer (female) or Plays an instrument - generally cool without thinking/or just a laugh - Joyful, happy, funny &/or quirky -doctor, lawyer, psychologist, teacher, accountant, developer, manager, design. Will happily settle for something else - if the shoe fits... Easy going, so hit it me up, now looking for a good match/room/house/home, 👌✌️
I am 21 this year, have just recently got a full time job in Melbourne so looking to make the move. I will be working shift work so each week changes. Needing to rent a room for a few months till I get on my feet. I am super easy going, fun, get along with anyone, enjoy my own time but also can hang out and have some fun. I’m clean and tidy and respectful of others.
Hey I'm Flo and I'm a Registered Nurse from the Gold Coast (QLD). I've been living in Melbourne for just over 2 years now. I'm quite a bubbly person and get along well with other people and their doggos and cats. When I'm not at work, I'm usually binge watching a series on Netflix, at the gym or I'm napping (nurse life). I love spending my time off exploring new places, driving to far places for short distances of time, going out for a few (or many) drinks with friends, attending gigs or festivals or having a lovely picnic at the park. I enjoy cooking and usually like to meal prep for the week depending on how busy my week will be. I love having a chat and spending time with my housemates but I also enjoy my alone time too and respect others and their needs. I have several furnishings which I am more than happy to bring with me if needed. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me :)

I'm currently in Richmond and love this whole (East, south/east) side of town. I work full time for an online Art selling/home decor company in the marketing design team. I work some weeks on Saturdays also. Lived in share houses before so respect personal space and am neat and tidy especially in shared areas. I enjoy anything Art related, spending time outdoors and catching up with friends for a wine or two. Looking for somewhere that feels like a home, ideally with someone/people who I can chill out with cooking/watching tv/having wine with when we happen to be home! Preferred length of stay - 6 - 12 months or longer!
I'm a clean and tidy person with a bubbly personality who loves the occasional beverage. Happy to have chats and go out with housemates when the mood strikes, but also happy to respect other people's space, lay low and chill out. Generally like to get out of the house and catch up with friends (won't say no to a brunch date) when I'm not working, but also don't mind staying in for a Netflix sesh. Currently working in hospitality but have graduated with a communications degree so am looking to crack into the media and communications industry sometime in the near future.

32 year old, full time analyst for the Department of Justice. During the week I have a 9-5 job and during the weekend, I am busy with my studies. I have varied interest: hiking, financial investing, data science and backpacking. I am clean and exceptionally tidy and try my best to be considerate to people that are around me. I am an easy going guy, likes to cook and go out for drinks whenever an opportunity arises. I grew up in Perth, Western Australia - moved to Melbourne for uni a while back and ended up staying here. Happy to meet new people and share experiences!
We have both been living out of home for around 18 months, with housemates. We're always keen to help out around the house. We are both tidy and clean and always leave the toilet seat down (hahaha, but seriously we do). We have been together for over a year and have been living together since the start of 2018. We don't plan to be invisible housemates, but we won't get under your feet either. I'm Jacob, I'm in my last year of Nursing. Currently working part-time as a delivery driver for Coles Online and casually as an in-home disability support worker. I'm fairly quiet and happy to keep to myself, but always welcome a decent conversation and I love getting to know people. Most of my time is spent working, being at uni and studying. I love a glass of wine or a decent coffee and chilling out with a movie/TV. I'm Teejae, I'm studying science at Swinburne and currently looking for part-time/full-time work. I'm a pretty social person but every now and then I like to have time to myself to wind down. I love a good meal and a good beer, and I like to think I know my way around a kitchen. I spend most of my time studying, exploring the parks/gardens of Melbourne, Netflix-ing and seeing my friends/family.

Express of Interest - MID APRIL 2018 Hi people! I'm Natalia, early 30's from Chile, and I'm looking for my next (and hopefully last!) place to stay for at least 6 months, or maybe more. Specifically looking around Prahran, Balaclava, St Kilda East, Windsor, or close to my job, South Melbourne, Richmond, South Yarra, Albert Park, or surroundings. **NOT LOOKING IN THE NORTHERN SUBURBS** I'm a chilled and easygoing girl, studying Project Management, and working in admin close to the city, very clean and tidy (I reeeeally appreciate cleanliness), super respectful, and looking for a place where I feel "at home". I've worked and lived in NZ, Chile and USA, and have shared apts before, so I know how it works ;) ABOUT ME: I have a pretty active life, I have a boyfriend so I stay at his place some nights, I like going out, practising yoga, listening to live music, go for drinks, or picnics in the park, dancing lover, dog lover, and I'm happy to be friends with my housemates, if that flows naturally...I enjoy watching movies, sharing a bottle of wine or a meal, I'm 420 friendly, but also really appreciate the quietness during week nights. I'm looking to have a furnished private room, and don't mind to share the house/flat with two or three more. Not more than 3 tho, I've had enough sharing with more!! lol Willing to pay between $600 and $700 a month. Need to have easy access to public transportation!! If you're looking for someone like me, send me a msg! Thanks! :)
