Hello, I'm an international student from Nairobi, Kenya. I am going to move to Melbourne to student a Bachelor in Design (Architecture) as a first year at University of Melbourne. I am easy going, quiet (at first) and tidy - I don't mind sharing out the responsibilities in a shared house. I enjoy some nights out, or days out, and sometimes like to stay in. I enjoy having a laugh and respect everyone's privacy. I would like to live with other students (preferably first year), and would also like to live in an ensuite room. Thank you.
Hi, I'm a full-time philosophy student from Tasmania, relocating to Melbourne this year. I've lived in a couple of share houses over the past few years, and I am a reliable and considerate roommate. My interests are fairly lowkey (my studies, other reading, hiking and running), so I value a clean, quiet, and amicable home environment. Always up for a good conversation or a trip for fresh veg.

Hello guys and girls, Maybe this sounds odd, but I am homeless and I am looking for a place to stay =). My name is Gerhard and I am from Germany. I will start my study at the RMIT in Melbourne on the 27th February 2017. I will arrive already on the 17th February, to have some time to check out the city. In this time, I will be looking for a cool place to stay. For the first two weeks, I will be staying in the "Greenhouse Backpacker Hostel" in Melbourne. Currently I am studying "Systems Engineering and Management" to get my master’s degree at the university of applied sciences in Ulm. This is my last semester, so I decided to go to the nicest city on earth to get to know the Australian people and their culture =). At the RMIT in Melbourne I will take the course “Master of Engineering (International Automotive Engineering)”. During my studies I always lived in flat shared households. If my current flatmates would describe me, they’d say, that I’m entertaining, sporty, well organized and uncomplicated. I like to go out in clubs or bars with my friends and flatmates. I also like to stay at home and have some beer in the kitchen as well. My hobbies are mountain biking, jogging, snowboarding and climbing. I heard, that Melbourne is a paradise to go jogging =), so I am really excited! I think my flatmates describe me as a well organised person, because I like to have a clean and tidy room. In my free time. I also like to chill and hang out in my room on my own. I think that this is important when living together with other people. You will not get on each other’s nerves =). Are you looking for a new flatmate? Then send me a message, so we can get to know each other better. Best wishes Gerhard
Hey! We're an Australian/Canadian Couple moving to Melbourne from Newcastle! We were living in London but our visas expired so now we're in Australia looking to settle somewhere in North Melbourne!
Full time visual merchandising TAFE student at TAFE seeking house or flat share situation with one or two females. FIrst time living out of home but well versed in the basics of running a household and being responsible. It will be a new experience living with people other than family for the first time, so having a flat mate/s a couple or so years older would probably suit well. Will be mostly studying during the weekend but using weekends to let hair down and be with friends/interact socially. Personality is a bit quirky (in a good 'sense of humour' way), creative and articulate. Picture is of mum 'cause she set up the profile to help find the right flatshare.
Outgoing, bubbly, friendly and very ready to start a new chapter in my life. I work hard to make a house a home, I tidy where I live every day and properly clean every fortnight. I like to meal prep for the week (vegetarian/vegan) but also love cooking for friends, and I only choose to drink on special occasions, but I don't care what other people choose to do. I love a good party and have an active social life, but I prefer not to bring it home. Don't mind having friends over for dinner and drinks, but home is usually where I spend "me" time and relax. I am seeking somewhere with extremely close public transport (preferably somewhere along the free tramline) and close to the city as that's where I work full time, and as I don't have a car I won't need a parking space. I love spending my down time watching movies, having a good chat with mates, reading, writing or painting or surfing music channels. I'm keen to make a new life, new friends, and a housemate/s would be a great start!! 😊😊
Hey there! My name is Delisa, I'm 18 years old and from Germany :-) I am on a working holiday in Australia for 4 months and currently doing in internship in Melbourne. So I look for a place to stay for two months (January - March). I would love to live with people around my age to spend a nice time together! I am a really tolerant, open - minded and helpful person ;-) I would love to hear from you! xoxo Delisa
Very easy going and organised guy working at local firm whilst doing masters of architecture. Have been in share houses since moving from country NSW so pretty well trained that way and everything gets paid on time. Complimentary white goods and furniture if there's a hole where the washing machine or couch was. (They can go elsewhere if not) Up for making a good time of things, Drop me a line !
I’m an easy-going 25-year-old female, working full-time as a paramedic. I work a roster of 4 days on followed by 4 days off, which means sometimes coming home between midnight and 3am, but I can assure you I’ve become very good at sneaking around so I don’t wake anyone! I keep pretty busy socializing with friends, hitting the gym, and going out for brunch/dinner. When at home, I keep a clean and tidy space, and enjoy cooking healthy meals, sleeping (love a good nap), binge-watching Netflix, and sharing stories over a bottle of wine. I am looking to move further in towards the city to take advantage of the city lifestyle.
Hey flatmate world, We're a fun loving couple looking for some new housemates in Jan/Feb 2017! We both work full time but are definitely up for getting together with our roomies for a social drink or bite to eat whenever possible. We both love going for brunch, playing different sports and watching trashy telly in our spare time. While we are a couple we are also great at doing thing separately. We are both super clean and as an added bonus Max is a tradie so he's super helpful with jobs around the house. Together we also have all the furniture needed to furnish a new house so if your's is missing anything we'll have it. This is also perfect for anyone wanting to team up. If you want to know anything else about us feel free to message!
Seeking a long-term flatmate to share a two-bedroom apartment in East Melbourne. It's walking distance to the CBD and MCG. The room fits a queen bed and furniture (room is unfurnished). It includes built in wardrobes and you will have your own bathroom (main bathroom). There is a secure car park available. The apartment is mostly furnished but you will need your own bedroom furniture. This apartment: - is spacious, clean, lots of light, all the mod cons and a balcony, - has access to a pool, spa and gym, - is near to the city and is close to public transportation (trams, trains and buses), and - has ducted heating/cooling. I'm looking for preferably a flatmate (sorry no couples) who is easy going, tidy and a non-smoker (not at all). The Rent is $275 per week + 4 weeks bond. Gas is free. Water, internet and electricity bills are separate. There is 8 months left on a one year lease. Sorry no pets allowed.
Hey, I'm Rupert. I am moving down to Melbourne from Queensland in February for my first year of university! I've always loved Melbs and I've decided to just head down and begin this new adventure. I'm looking for a nice place with great people. I'm very normal and a non-smoker. I love exploring Melbourne, visiting museums, seeing shows, enjoying a drink with friends and I'm always down for brunch. I'm very much an extrovert but I do like my own space. I'm a very clean and tidy person, extremely reliable and punctual and hopefully I'll make living with me an enjoyable experience. I'm so excited to move down to Melbourne.
Work full-time, currently living in an apparent by myself, getting a bit sick of it, lease is going month to month so I can move anytime. Good rental history, already own sofa, fridge, chairs, washing machine, coffee table, tv and a bed. I can sell these if they're not needed. I play guitar and sing every day but I am always considerate of others about times about level of noise. I play footy over winter, love watching live music and like a good drink every now and then.
My name's Sam. I'm 30 & I've been living in Melbourne for the last 6 years. I currently work full-time in the CBD in customer service, 9-5:30 Mon to Fri. In my spare time I enjoy reading tech blogs, skateboarding, start-ups, Big Bash cricket (carn the Stars!) and the occasional Netflix binge. I'm currently looking to find a relaxed space to share with some friendly people before the end of February (as I'll be visiting Japan for a fortnight mid March). I'm looking to stay long term (>6 months), and am happy to put my name on the lease if needed. I'm share-house trained, clean, respectful, timely with bills and LGBTQ friendly. I'm looking for flatmates who are approachable and enjoy sharing a few drinks over dinner now and then, but understand that everyone needs their own space from time to time. Ideally I'm looking for a home more than a house, and enjoy being social with my flatmates.
I am a professional female working 9-5 job in healthcare and looking for share accommodation in or closer to Melbourne city. My preference is to have a private room with own bathroom plus parking. I moved to Melbourne from Sydney in the first quarter of 2016. I'm an easy going person and I'm looking to share with someone that is house proud n keeps the place clean. I like a bit of privacy at times but mostly up for a chat or have dinner/glass of wine together when time permits.
We are neat, tidy, friendly people who are looking for short term accomodation until we can work out our own rental. I am studying nursing and my partner is working as a carpenter and we will be spending the other half of our time exploring Melbourne as we have just moved over from Perth.
My partner and I are looking for a place to call home in Melbourne after travelling around the west coast for the last few months. A bit about me, I'm Lizzy, 26, from Newcastle and work in sales (9-5) when I'm not at work I spend my evenings at the gym or cooking some new with a glass of wine in hand. My partner Joe is also 26, from London and is a decorator (8-4), he loves yoga, gardening and a glass of red! On weekends we like to socialise with friend, have a few drinks and are keen to explore what Australia has to offer from beaches to national park, waterfalls and whatever else we can find!
I work in hospitality and am in the process of relocating to Melbourne. I've lived in Sydney all of my adult life in shared housing situations, and have gotten along well with a good mix of people. Depending on the job, my work hours will very likely be late, long and on the weekends. I try my best to keep things quiet when I come home late and have never had complaints from the other 9-5ers I live with. While slightly reserved, I'm always up for a chat and maybe a drink or two. I love food and cooking and will spend a good chunk of my free time on that. For exercise I do quite a bit of running.
My name is Hayley, I'm 26 years old, and work full time in child health research in Parkville. I'm very clean and friendly and I like living in positive, peaceful homes. In my spare time, I enjoy eating out with friends, going to the gym, and photography. I like keeping things quiet during the 9-5 working week. My weekends are spent doing relaxing activities such as yoga, socialising, or going on day trips. I'm looking for a private ensuite room with a car space for around $200-250 in the inner east/south-east.
Hey! My name is Lauren and I am friendly, easy going and clean. I am originally from Tasmania but have lived in Melbourne for two years and will be in my third year studying business full-time at RMIT and working part-time. I have lived in shared accommodation for the past three years so I know how communal living works. I enjoy having a chat and sharing a meal or a few drinks with my housemates but also respect people's personal space. Able to move in anytime from 1st of Feb. Please send me a message if you have a spare room or are looking to teamup!
I work full-time hours and study by side, when I'm at home I'm pretty chill and need some down time, but I like to social when I'm around and also respect to your own space. I prefer not living in a party house but do enjoy the odd drink/dinner. I'm very clean and tidy (but not a clean freak type), friendly and open-minded. I'm into travelling, movies, music, sports, photography, arts, food, coffee and cats :) I work in a restaurant as a pastry chef, besides my works, I like to go to the gigs, movies, exhibitions, shows, festivals, exploring the nice restaurants/cafes/pastry shops/markets, and travel when I have holidays. My favorite hangout suburbs are inner east and inner north, bay side in the summer. Although we might have the different work schedules, I'm very respectful and won't bring the party to home. I am happy to share the household as I like to keep the house clean and tidy, I'm looking for the liked -mind housemate who likes clean and tidy. I'm looking for a peaceful home to live with positive people, we can be independent but I'm not looking for just share the house, I like people. *** Allergy of the TV sounds, prefer to live with somebody who is not addicted to the TV (e.g. in need of turning on the TV every minute when at home, and sleep) and enjoy the relaxed quiet home. If your home is TV free, it will be a great bonus to me! Reliable and honest, pay rent on time. Conscious of the wastage of the energy. Looking for a relaxed home, not a party house. Clean and tidy, happy to join the household. Independent, share when I/you want to. Don't mind smokers but no smoking in the house. Open-minded, love multi- cultural, LGBT friendly, 40+ friendly. Pastry chef, occasional sweet treats :) Cat lover, meow in the house is very welcome! Please message me before calling, thank you!

Super chill & friendly guy from Singapore, looking for a place with like-minded flatmates who appreciate a balanced week. I enjoy exercising, eating good food (cancels the first part out), movies and meeting new people. Recently discovered the magic that is red wine so if you appreciate a glass (or 10) of cab sav to slowly wind the evening down that's a major plus. I'm neat & tidy especially with shared spaces and won't mess your toilet up. Always cool with anyone bringing friends over as long as everyone is equally respectful of each other. If you like what you read and want to team-up, let me know!
We are clean, friendly, reliable and sociable people with a healthy, open-minded approach to life. We both enjoy cooking and eating, drinking with friends (this means you), cultural activities and outdoor adventures. We enjoy a good night in as much as a great night out. *We come with Netflix* Katherine is British, 21 years old, helpful, talkative and organised. She graduated in July 2016 with a degree in International Relations and Modern History. She is a whiz in the kitchen (definitely when it comes to desserts) and loves everything that is food related. Katherine enjoys all sorts of cultural activities, from films to museums. Ruben is Belgian, 25 years old, easy going and likes to be around other people. Ruben worked as front-end web developer before we started travelling. Ruben is athletic and interested in all kinds of sports, particularly cycling and soccer. Ruben also enjoys the occasionally beer(s) and used to (try to) brew an own beer together with some friends. Other interests are music, photography/video and festivals. We're looking for a furnished double room. Somewhere on the Eastern(ish) side of the city centre with good transport links. Ensuite is not necessary. 2 months is the minimum we would be looking to stay in Melbourne and depending on work opportunities/demands we could be looking to stay up to 6 months. We're hoping to find lovely like-minded housemates to make our stay in Melbourne extra special.
I’m moving to Melb and looking for a share house to move into. I’ll be working at Monash uni in research, your standard 9-5 type job. I love a good laugh, the occasional night out, trying to stay active and travelling. I’ve been lucky to have great experiences in past share houses and hopefully this will be too! I’m super clean and tidy, respectful, reliable and easy to get along with. I’m good for the money and will always pay rent on time and contribute to house bills. I’m generally pretty social and often out catching up with friends or family, but also like my own space and time to relax. Be great to find housemates that are also interested in going for the occasional meal or drink together. Ideally looking for a place with 2-3 housemates, around 25-35 years, close to the city, car parking, fun suburb to live in and easy to get around. Mostly looking at areas south-east of the city. Rent up to $250, looking to move in around the 21st January but am flexible.

Hey all, 2017 is the big move to Melbourne! Bit about me, I'm a socialable, easy-going, conscious individual, love to keep fit as well as a few casual drinks with mates, play tennis and enjoy most sports. Got my ambitions set on nutritional education and the environment so pretty passionate about themes like integrative health, detox & diet protocols and would like to get into urban farming. Got a pretty wide experience with my previous jobs. Like to live with some flexible guys or girls that share similar values - keep the home safe and like family. If you wanna live with a lad who gets right into his juicing then get in touch. Looking to get a sweet job in my niche around the CBD. Anyways, I'm a Darwin fella too finishing my final two units in my Health Promotion degree and looking to get situated in or around the CBD area. Roadtripping with my own car and will be available to suss out Melbourne from Tuesday 16th. Hope to meet with some great minds while I'm here 😊
