Beautifully designed 1930s Art Deco property, just across the road from the magnificent Fitzroy Gardens, only 5 minutes walking through the gardens from Parliament station and the CBD. Within a boutique block of only eighteen apartments, this spacious one bedroom creates instant appeal with timeless character features, open interiors and sun soaked spaces. The apartment is quite large. The bedroom is huge and has a queen size bed. The living room is large too, has a sofa that is super comfy to sleep on (one person), a dinner table and is nicely decorated with art from various places in the world. The entire house is quite bright too with lots of sunlight coming in through the beautifully 1930s styled windows, yet quite comfortable in the hot summer days due to its high ceiling. I live here and only rent it when I'm away, so you'll have a full home for yourself, nicely furnished with good quality furniture and with everything you might need, from washing machine, dryer, dish washer, juicer, soda stream, pretty much anything you can imagine. WiFi too, of course. The pictures are from a few months ago, now it has a TV in the living room and a few plants. Everything else looks the same. It comfortably fit up to 3 people. It's available from December 14th to January 27th.

Hi there! I'm 21 and currently working full-time in admin, but also do some creative freelance work on the side! :D (My length of stay/move-in date/suburb is flexible!) I'm a very relaxed and open-minded person, and I get along with many types of people. I've got plenty of sharehousing experience, and you can always rely on me to be clean, respectful and pay rent on time (I used to rent for $300 a week!) I like having a warm home atmosphere where everyone feels relaxed and is happy to socialize but also respects each other's privacy and need for alone time- having housemates you feel comfortable around and can get along with makes sharing a space together perfect. (Oh and i'm not a neat freak but I definitely appreciate folks who can keep the place clean,- which I make a point to do as well) My hobbies... there's alot of those! I like being outdoors, meeting new people, film, gym, art, video games, music, sport, studying (not at uni, I just generally like learning about heaps of topics), pop culture, crafting (I make clothes too), learning languages... I could go on for a while. In short, I like to enjoy as many things as possible and i'm always looking for new things to do! If I sound like someone you might like to share a house with, reach out and we can have a chat over the phone or over a coffee to see how we get along. :) (I can provide references if needed! ) -private room only, no shared rooms thanks
Hello! Looking for a nice place to live that won't break the bank and is close to the CBD. Moving down to Melbourne in January permanently and looking for somewhere to stay- though happy to sub-lease for the first month or two. I'm an independent person, no noise, no mess. Need parking as well.
I am a 20 year old student from Europe. I will spend my exchange semester in Melbourne at ACU from the beginning of February until the middle/end of June after that I plan to travel around Australia a bit. I plan to work as well, since I love coffee and I have worked as a barista previously and Melbourne has always been my dream. I am not smoking and I won't bring pets. I hope you find me a good person to live with!
Hi! My name is Kylie and I am a recent college graduate from Manitoba, Canada! I'm here in Australia to expand my career in event management! I am an outgoing person who loves a good joke and never afraid to try new things. Some of my main hobbies include dancing, reading and exploring nature. I am very organized and mindful of money. I am looking for a place to stay that offers a comfy bed and great memories. I am open to any roommate, as I would love to meet friends during my travels!
I’m clean, conscious of others and love to be social. I can cook and enjoy doing activities and things with others around my new Melbourne home. I would say I have a good sense of humour and don’t do things like set houses on fire or play side-trance at 3am on Sunday night. I’m a professional in a creative industry and will often be found doing photography, illustrating or going to a festival or gallery whenever I get the chance. Love reading and watching movies but also a good night out once in a while. I am also British so if you do anything wrong/annoying I won’t put up a fuss and carry on (one simply couldn’t say anything). Instead I’ll hold it bottled up for years until I have a stroke in my 80’s (like most good, considerate British people do). I have been sponsored by the company I work for so I am here until atleast May 2020 when it gets renewed. Hopefully longer :) I am only looking for 1 month (5th Jan > 5th Feb)
Hey guys, We are looking for a place for towards the end of the year or start of next year to move into. Brayden is from South Australia and will be moving down at the end of the year. Emily is from Melbourne and has lived in different parts of Australia, including remote cattle stations. We are both well mannered, polite and clean up after our selves. We get along well with people but also enjoy keeping to ourselves. We have been dating for two years. We are both nerds and love gaming, watching tv shows, and things like that. Both of us are still studying and are looking for work. Emily's top priority is school while Brayden focused on finding work, while finishing school.
LOOKING FOR A ROOM TO MOVE ON FEBRUARY 8th 2020 Hey! I´m Cristian from Chile. I'm outgoing, reflective, open to feedback and I really like to make the most out of life. I'm also very sociable, open mind and very happy with my life and about who I am. Don´t smoke, drink socially and I'm really clean with my stuff. Oh and I'm gay so if you are bothered - please don't :) PHILOSOPHY: Life is not doing what you want, but wanting what you do. Hobbies? I like to travel a lot, to learn about different cultures and new languages (I can speak spanish, english, french and portuguese) and of course to make new friends and share experiences. I also like to cook, dance, sing, listen to some music and play sports like weightlifting, biking, swimming, surfing and snowboarding. I'm molecular biologist and science/mindfulness teacher. I have worked at underserved schools (as a teacher, teacher trainer, and principal), universities, non-profit foundations, and the chilean government for the last 12 years. I also had the opportunity to travel the world having participated in international leadership programs in education. I am looking for a place to stay during my 2-year Master of Education (Policy in a Global Context) program at The University of Melbourne.
I'm a 29-year-old working full time in Collingwood who is looking for a place to share with like minded housemates. I am an easy going house mate and I clean up after myself. I am always up for a household dinner and beer as well. On the weekends I enjoy hanging out with friends, cycling and running and I'm equally as comfortable heading out for dinner and drinks as I am staying at home home having a glass of wine and watching a movie. Looking for a place for 12 months+ and am available to move from mid December Let me know if I sound like I’d be a fit for you! Thanks!
Fun and cool to live with! I’m a pretty laid back person, but also very clean, I like to and always clean after myself and also organized girl. With me you won’t have any problems with cleaning. I'll be flying to Australia with working holiday visa on February so looking for a short-term staying couple or for few months. Ready to share a room with someone or to take care of someone’s apartment for that period of time. As a person I’m very bubbly, I like to talk a lot and be around people but not always, most of the time needing space aswell. But I come along with anybody and everybody I consider myself sociable too and very playful, so if you having a game night every weekend I’m in! For fun I love to have indoors evenings with friends just hanging out or cooking making dinners or just going out. Flying from Finland that’s where I’m from and going to be in Australia about a year or that’s in my plans and figuring out what to do. Right now i work at a clothing shop and a Pizza restaurant in Helsinki, so I’ll looking for the similar type of job there Melbourne (if you any tips pls lemme know). I would like to have furnished room that would be very awesome and don’t really care that much about the area, as long as I get to the beach or the city easily. I would appreciate if you guys are willing to help and let me know if there’s anything suitable for me! Thanks&Cheers :)
