I've been renting for 5 years now and am quite easy to live with. I am respectable of others around me and like keeping my place tidy. I would ideally prefer finding an apartment to share between 2 to 3 people, preferably close to the city. My main interests are travel, dance, music, photography, art and sport, and am eager to get back into a fitness routine. I'm learning to speak Portuguese/Spanish, so bonus points if you can teach me.
Clean and respectful. Always up for a laugh. I work as an engineer Monday-Friday, so am generally out during the day, but do work from home at times. Have been in Melbourne for 3 months after relocating from Tasmania. Was previously living in Southbank on a short term lease and now looking for a new home.
I'm currently working full time and studying some nights and looking to move somewhere more central and closer to the city. I’d describe myself as an easy going guy who likes to have a laugh and socialise with housemates but also likes and appreciates my own and others space. Not much into partying and I'm a non smoker.
I'm very easy going and respectful of other's privacy. Always happy to have a chat. I like cooking at home, and most importantly, like to keep everything clean and tidy. I also enjoy a coffee in the morning, exercise and reading. If I'm the kind of person you would like to share a home with, please let me know!!
Hi, my name is Rhi. My cat Vinny and I need to be out of our current house in September due to our existing housemates all growing up and pairing off so we’re looking for some new ones! I am 28, employed full-time, and have been living in share houses since I was 18 so I know the drill. Things get paid on time, communal areas get kept tidy, and my work schedule means I’ve never clashed with anyone for the bathroom. I’m a bit creative (I draw and paint and collect dumb eclectic things) so hopefully my housemates won’t mind the decorative mishmash of things I intend to hang on our walls! I have got a house worth of furniture (sofas, wall units, large TV, fridge, washing machine, etc.) which I can either sell or bring with me. I like my homes to be chill places where people are comfortable to be themselves. Whilst not expressly looking for a party house I believe that friends and lovers should always be welcome. I am invaluable at pub trivia nights. I am rainbow friendly and bigot unfriendly. An older character place full of music, blankets, fairy lights, plants, books and snacks and with at least a small yard is my dream. Vinny is a small ginger rescue boy with the sweetest face who is super skilled at sitting juuust out of reach and stealing food literally from your mouth. He is stupidly obsessed with a big plush Rastafarian banana that I have. He is plucky and I have seen him interact well with other animals. Looking forward to talking to you soon!
I'm a 19 year old guy from Italy, looking for a place to stay in Melbourne. I love football, travelling and watching movies. My move to Melbourne will be for improve my english and find a work. I will be needing a place for my first month in Australia, but I may stay more than 1 month.

I am completing my Bachelors of Business in Information Systems and finance and Entrepreneurship as minors. I just transferred from La Trobe University to RMIT city so I need to move closer to city and nove from Bundoora. I like traveling, self development, adventures, gym, healthy lifestyle, music and food. I like to have drinks or dinner with housemates once a while. Thumbs up if you also like traveling. I have a car so I need reliable parking arrangements where I move. I am often going to road trip on my car. You can tag along if you are a good dj.
Studying Digital Media at RMIT and need to find a place ideally in the city "area".. I'm a Canadian Israeli who just just moved to Melbourne after travelling all around the world. (lived in 5 countries and traveled over 30 haha..) I like to run, hike, cook, read, drink, and simply have fun. I'll definitely be an entertaining addition to the apt. Looking for normal fun peeps! ;)
She does taekwondo and he is a musician, currently working in the city. We met in Ecuador and are in Australia launching an NGO that engages communities in the Amazon. We are open people who are hoping to find affordable housing and meet great people. If you want to hear more, shoot us a message!
Just returned from long trip OS looking for an immediate short term base with secure parking for 4-8 weeks while I sort out an apartment and next gig (corporate). Friendly, easy going, clean, low impact, reliable and although I've had a great 12 months off funds are fortunately a non-issue. hope to hear from you. thanks.
G'day Flatmates.com, I'm Angus and I'm 28 years old, Australian and I work full time in the CBD for an engineering company. I don't drive so don't need a car park, I don't smoke and am not looking for a place that does and I don't have any pets (though love dogs so would be happy to live with one!) I'm friendly, social and easy to get along with. I'm quite relaxed with my attitude to most things, it's just in my personality (reflected in the fact that I sleep like a rock) I'm looking for a place with more girls than guys, I just find girls easier to get along with but the important thing is that I'm looking for some housemates who are my own age, not too much younger or too much older. So I'm clean, pay bills and rent on time and am all round good dude so hit me up if your looking to fill a room! What I'm really looking for, is a place where I can get along with my housemates and be friends with them. You know, chat after work and share responsibilities like shopping and cleaning and stuff. -Angus
Hi There, I am Teju (TJ). I am relocating from Germany to Australia. I am a positive person, friendly, Happy and a tidy girl who loves Shopping, cooking and trying out new things. I am a Software Engineer and I'll be working in Melbourne CBD Area. Due to the nature of my work, I am looking for a place which is closer to office. I am a friendly, clean, responsible person looking for a place to call home.
ME BRIEFLY... I'll love my current Housies forever but our freezer-home has frozen my feet to the floor and I need a warmer home ASAP. I'm open to short-term options but would prefer a forever home. I seek soulful souls for housemates; new friends who live and laugh and love this luxury we call life... --- ME BROADLY... Hi possible-future-housemates, I'm Lane. And I'm looking for a happy, healthy, humble North or Westside home (Carlton, Collingwood, Brunswick, Thornbury, Fitzroy, Footscray, etc.). 🤗🏠 I'm a clean, considerate, creative kind who's also all the friendlies — gender, orientation, environment et. al. I lean left, arty, and non-binararilly. I'm house-proud, house-happy, and open to short-term or long-term options. I'm looking for a warm, welcoming, inclusive, creative, clean, open, and honest home; I co-live well and I respect my own time and space as much I do that of others. I love the usuals — arts, film, photography, music, people — and I'm fond of the ukulele, Rubik's Cube, and learning new things, because, this is how we grow. I'm trying to improve my sign language skills too so if you can help me I'll love you forever. By day I work out of NEST (co-work space) in Thornbury and by night I sometimes do the same! I don't do TV though I love documentaries and film. I'm an environmentally-considerate car owner so parking is a consideration for me, and I have a small social enterprise I'm about to launch so a room with desk-space would be helpful as I sometimes work my night away — if I have to — or even a workspace somewhere else in the house. PERSONAL QUALITIES I'm an open and honest soul and seek the same in those around me. I believe communication is the key because communication is the key, as hard as it can sometimes be... FOOD, SHARING, & FURNITURE I'm an uber-minimalist and I come furniture-free. I'd prefer a furnished bedroom but it's not a deal-breaker. PETS I love animals but don't have any of my own. I steal all my pet pats when I'm out and about and/or running, stopping to pat and meet every four-legged friend I can.
I'm an easygoing, super friendly gal from Glasgow/Scotland moving to Melbourne to work full time in A&E as a doc. Always excited to meet new people, and always keen to go for drinks, food, any activity in general but appreciate my own space to recharge. Very into my music, and love house/techno clubs in particular. Equally a lover of a lazy quiet night in with snacks and netflix. Enjoy racket sports, and like to keep active. Brunch is the best meal of the day. Looking to meet some relaxed open-minded people that like to socialise as much as I do, but will also contribute to making a nice home! I am a considerate housemate, and would hope to have similar considering the shift pattern of my work.
Hi! My name is Ross, and I'm just returning to Australia after working in a foreign aid project in Tuvalu (small Pacific nation) for a little while. I am 31, friendly, social and work in the city as a water engineer. I would imagine i will be out of the house through the week from 8am ish to 6pm ish. When I'm not working I like to go to the gym, meet with my girlfriend or friends at a cafe or bar, walk around with a camera, or just be at home reading a book or watching a movie. I am looking for a respectful, tidy-ish person who likes a chat in the evening, but also likes their own company.
Located 10 min walk from flinder station and 5 min from the MCG and Fitzroy gardens, this is the perfect spot to live in Melbourne. The room has in own ensuite bathroom and will you all the intimacy you need. But if you want to share some good laughs and moments with your news roommates, the living room we’ll be the place to be in your new home.
Hey guys, My name is Balázs, sorry in advance for the difficult name, but I'm from Hungary so I guess it necessarily comes with it. :) I'm currently finishing a 6 months lease in the CBD, hence I'm looking for a new place to live close to the city. A little bit about me: I'm a 27 yo Hungarian working full time 9-5 in Clayton. Came here on a working holiday visa last October but I just got sponsored for 4 years whohoo :) I'm pretty busy during working days, but I still enjoy a drink and good company. I am rather social, but I respect your privacy if you have a guest over. During weekends I enjoy the city buzz or I reconnect with the nature somewhere in Victoria. (I'm always down for some hiking or wakeboarding) As a housemate: I'm very laid back, outgoing person, slightly extroverted thus enjoying to be around people. I really like when a flat has a good vibe and the flatmates maintain good relationship with one another. I'm originally from Hungary and traveled through Europe in my early 20's. If you are planning a trip there, I can definitely help too. I'm not a neat freak but I do my share of cleaning around the house. I lived in multiple share houses in both Hungary and Australia in the last 5 years and I have a good rapport with my former housemates, so reference shouldn't be a problem either. Cheers!
Seasoned flatsharer that makes epic brownies and lemon drizzle cake, very tidy and sadly, actually enjoys cleaning - tidy house, tidy mind and all that jazz. I like songs with words, meat and veg, lifting heavy things in the gym, travelling, dogs over cats, bingeing on TV/Netflix as required and generally being chilled and happy. Looking to make new friends as I move to Melbourne to share home-cooked dinners, maybe a few cocktails, a home and some baked treats! I'm in Melbourne now so we can meet up to check our music and cake tastes don't clash too heavily! I work as an IT consultant and clients could be in the CBD or surrounding boroughs - this will keep me busy Monday to Friday with weekends to chill and play tourist.
I recently moved from sunny Brisbane to Melbourne and at present pursuing my masters in Public Health. I am pretty low key on weekdays and will be looking for a part time job in my field apart from keeping up with my classes. I am looking for a new home that is neat, clean and comfy. I spend weekends with my bf, friends and family when I am not out exploring this beautiful city. New to the outdoors and loving it and keen on the occasional fun night out. I am respectful of space and privacy and love love to share food. Would be down to unwind with a glass of wine or some good conversations. Get in touch if we make a good team. Best, Sarah
My name is Carolina, I’m from Brazil and I’m 39. I came to Melbourne to study and work. First I’m improving my english and them I’m going a post graduate. I am easy going, clean and focused on my studies.
