I'm a 29 year old, Exercise Physiologist working full time in Hawthorn. I play footy for Box Hill Hawks. About Me: Easy going Reliable Fun **Looking for a house that doesn’t mind a BBQ during summer or a Sunday session but understands personal space, is relatively clean and is considerate of other people** Interests - pretty stock standard - Parties, going to the beach, dogs, music (anything from Missy Higgins to Fetty Wap to Daft, tv shows (How I Met Your Mother, The Office)
I'm a marketer by day and salsa dancer by night. While I do have my own thing going on, I'm looking for a social house as I prefer to be mates with the people I live with. I am out and about doing after work hobbies (rock climbing, netball, salsa) but I also like to stay home and binge on netflix for the night. If you're looking for someone easy going, to have deep conversations about Game of Thrones, or just for a chat, I am your girl. I am currently in a sharehouse in South Yarra and hoping to move in by early November.

Hi! I'm on work and holiday from the USA and have chosen to start out in Melbourne! I recently graduated from college where I lived with a variety of roommates, so I'm used to shared spaces and can get along well with others. :) I have a variety of jobs but still like to go on adventures and see the city.
I am a full-time uni student studying mathematics and I work part-time in a cafe. My hobbies include karate, running, listening to music, YouTube, Netflix and having a good time with friends. I like to make awful puns and meet new people. I am respectful of other's people's space and I don't make much mess. I am also quite relaxed chilled out and I know how to have fun. If I sound like someone you want to live with, please hit me up :)
Hi all, Originally from Sydney and spent the last year settling in in a place all by myself! Hoping to move in with someone laid back who doesn't mind the occasional drink (or doesn't mind if I have one?). I don't like to bring the party home, train often - in the mornings, and work fairly long hours so will be a pretty quiet housemate! That said always up for the odd meal and/or chat in the evening. Also love my sports- either live or catch up. Cons: not big on reality TV but you do you! Look forward to hearing from you, and flexible with a move date, anytime between now and Dec 1. Thanks! Maddy
Hi there, I'm Ronny, I'm a 30yo single professional veterinarian new to Melbourne. I'm originally from New Zealand and have recently lived in London for several years. I am looking for furnished accommodation with own bathroom. My location choices are a rough guess and very flexible. I'm also flexible with my move dates and length of stay as I have temporary arrangements. I'm tidy and respect others spaces, can work fairly long and variable hours, quite independent but enjoy a social flat. I enjoy travel, cuisine, reading and sitting down with a glass of wine or gin. Anything else, feel free to flick me a msg :) Cheers!
A shfit worker, so sometimes i work weird hours and have a weird sleeping pattern. Non smoker, friendly but independent. I just came back from a long holiday (5months +) and at the moment I am crashing at my uncle and aunt's place. I'm looking for an unfurnished room, as I have my bed, etc locked up in a storage, ideally 7km from CBD. I will also need a car park as I have a car (off street parking is fine). It would be great to find a place to call home. Minimum stay would be 6 months but I would like to stay longer if everything goes well. I've shared places so many times. I always pay rent and bills on time, clean after my mess in the common areas. I am considerate and always respecting other people's personal space however if the time sycnced, I'll be up to hang out over some drinks or food or movies or even going for a road trip. I like to keep myself active by eithter going to gym, bike ride or beach when the weather is nice. But there are times when i just sleep all day on my day off, recovering from working weird hours. Feel free to msg me if you have a spare room or feel like teaming up to find a 2-3bedroom apartment together. Arianna
Beautiful modern house in East Melbourne! Less than 200 metres to West Richmond train station. Close stroll to Bridge Road and Victoria St, Fitzroy Gardens and MCG. The house is furnished except the bedroom (can discuss if you have existing furniture). If you have a tv that's a bonus as the current one is going :) Bills are split three ways, unlimited internet is $20 each month & we're arranging a monthly cleaner. You'll need to sign onto the lease which will be renewed in February. Please note the photos are from when the house was listed previously so our current furniture is different to the images. The room available is shown as a sitting room in photo #5. The room will be available as early as next week so are looking at viewings this week & next week.
I'm an artist working in film and television production design, fine art photography and creating my own ready to wear retro style clothing. I work part-time in retail, soon to be full time and will begin my Bachelor of Photography at RMIT in March next year. I regularly go to the gym, so I'm definitely one for a healthy and balanced lifestyle. I'm a mature and healthy minded, grounded, very conscious, honest and upfront person. Being an empath, I'm also kind, warm, considerate, reliable and driven. I'm looking to share a home with people who also want a positive, clean, uncluttered, drama free and honest environment. I want to share with people who are positive communicators (no close minded, passive aggressive, talk negatively behind others backs sorts). People who do their own thing but can come together and hang out, have some laughs and even a few mind expanding conversations ;-)
Hi! I'm looking for to move into a new lease or join a place already set up. I have lived in a share house previously, I tend to be out of the house a majority of the time so you would most likely get the place to yourself often. I work full time as a tennis coach and I also work part time in hospitality as a side job. I also study part time. If you need to know anything else at all you can ask me, just contact me.
Express of Interest - December 2017 Hi people! I'm Natalia, 32 yrs old from Chile, and I'm looking for my next "definitive" place to stay for at least 6 months, or maybe more. I'm a mature and easygoing girl, working in administration, super clean and tidy (sometimes too much, lol), responsible and respectful, looking for a place where I feel "at home". I enjoy watching movies, having a glass of wine and a nice dinner, but also really appreciate the quietness during week nights. I'm looking to have my own furnished room, hopefully with own bathroom, but don't mind to share it with one or two more. Not more than 3 ppl living in the apartment, I'm escaping from a 6ppl house! I'm willing to pay $200 per week or max $250 (bills included). I'm chilled and like music, I like going out for drinks or dancing, sometimes have a couple of girl friends over for wine but never too loud, and love a good chat. If your looking for someone like me, send me a msg! Thanks! :)
Hi there. You're probably thinking "who is this person? What kind of housemate would they be? How are their dishwashing skills?" You could probably answer each question with "generally awesome", but I suppose I should give you some actual tangible details about me. I'm a theatre staffer, philosophy student, actor, occasional musician, and attempted swing dancer. I'm working part time in Dandenong and studying part time online. I spend a bit of time in the city so something between work and my usual social things would be ideal. I'm not a party animal, I more enjoy quiet social gatherings with tea and good chats. I'm vegan, but happy to houseshare with people of any diet. I'm a non-car-owner so being within walking distance of a train station is a must. I need something long term(ish), and ideally, would like to move in around early November (but I'm flexible and can move earlier if need be). Aaaaand all the obligatory why-I'm-a-good-housemate biz: I'm super tidy, I'm self-sufficient, I pay bills on time, I'm sociable but also like to keep to myself, I'm respectful of giving housemates their space, I don't make a lot of noise (except when I'm playing ukulele), and I'm a generally nice person. Or so they tell me.
I am a friendly and caring 26 year old female professional moving from Sydney to Melbourne for a new job in the edutech sector around the 4th of November. I taught as a high school teacher for three years, and am currently working in an education not for profit. Although I will be out of the house often for work and play, I am seeking a friendly environment where I can relax after work, interact with housemate/s, and have some down time. I enjoy cooking so am seeking a place where occasional meals with friends and housemate/s is the norm. I have a good rental record lasting 4 years. During this time I have always kept my spaces clean and tidy, and equally contributed to the upkeep of communal areas. The perfect space for me would be within a 5 to 30 minute commute to my new work address in Fitzroy with one or two fellow housemates. I am also open to alternative arrangements. I’m in Melbourne this coming weekend (21st and 22nd October 2017) and keen to meet up with potential housemates. Please let me know if you are interested in applying for a place together or have a room that needs filling?
Hi! I'm 31, from Sydney originally. Trained as a lawyer, I'm moving to Melbourne in November to take up a job with the state government. I returned to oz in 2017 after four years in Europe (France and Switzerland) so naturally I'm pretty obsessed with cheese and French cinema. I have a raclette machine, not sure I need to write anything else... Other big loves include hanging out at all night bookstores, ocean pool swimming, being a creep at dog parks, France, Debussy, Miyazaki and hummus. Having primarily lived in share houses for the past 11 years, I'm a considerate, respectful and responsible housemate. I enjoy a good chat over a glass of wine but I can also appreciate that people need their space. I love cooking so would be great to live in a place with an oven. I'm pretty friendly and easy going and enjoy a sweet house party every now and then but mostly I'm looking for a chilled house with progressive people in their 30s :)
Hello! We have already been living in Melbourne for a few months, but we would like to move closer to our jobs which are located in the CBD/Richmond area. Adam is an English chef whose passion for food knows no bound, be prepared for tasty meals! Caroline is French and works in a high end clothing store, but what she enjoys the most is exploring what the city has to offer: exhibitions, music, coffee, long walks and yoga studios! Most of all, we want to find a place that feels home-y, where we can share drinks/meals and good times with our flatmate(s). But we will always put everyone's privacy and well-being first! Transparency is a must, as we have found it to be essential for a peaceful life in a sharehouse :)
My name is Shaun, I am a 20 year old Filipino-Australian that just moved to Melbourne. I work from Monday to Friday. I live a easy going life-style, I enjoy playing football (soccer), skateboarding, and spending time with my girlfriend. I clean and can carry my own weight when sharing a home.
Hey i'm Adrien. I just arrived three weeks ago from France, and i'm looking for a place to stay. I'm a saxophone/piano teacher. I would like to share a house with a bunch of people ! I 'm a compulsive collector of used Myki Pass . Actually i have over 396 Myki pass now, including a gold one. No. I'm joking :D Sorry, it's a shame but i just match all the regular stuff you can find here: i enjoy cooking, having a drink, playing boardgame, going outside, travelling, having a beer, watching movie etc etc... Buuuut, i also can hold my breath for 5m30s under the water. And i also never watched one single episode of Game of Throne in my fuckin' life; actually, it's pretty more impressive than my ability for apnea. So, yep, say me if you're interested in living together, i will be very happy to share a lot of cool moment with you. Oh, and i need a house very, very quickly (next week) : / Have a good day !
Hi! I've just moved to Melbourne from Oslo, and I'm hoping to find a private room in a flatshare close to the CBD, preferrably walking distance. And hopefully some great flatmates! I'm on a working holiday visa and will be looking to work in hospitality. I will be staying until some time in May. But I do have savings so paying the rent won't be a problem whilst I'm jobseeking. I'm easy going and sociable and would love to live in a flat with a group of people I can get to know, and have an enjoyable year with. I love cooking (and I also clean up after myself), arts and crafts, music. I'm always up for a new adventure or a party! (Allthough I also thouroughly enjoy a night in with a cup of tea, my knitting and Downton Abbey - Grannystyle) Ps. I need friends
Hello! Our names are Rebecka 23 and Laurence 21 and we have just graduated from University in the UK. We are currently living in Melbourne and are looking for our next home. Our current lease finishes on the 27th of November but we are flexible around that date. A little bit about us: We both like movies & music, and enjoy a relaxed evening at home, but we also like to explore places and try new things. Occasionally we like to go out for a drink or two. Neither of us smokes. We plan to stay & work in Melbourne for the next few months. - If you have any questions about us, feel free to ask! Hope to hear from you soon :)
Hi everyone! I'm a newish fella to town, having recently moved from interstate for a job opportunity. Looking for somewhere around the (but not limited too) Collingwood/Fitzroy/Richmond area, preferably with a car space. About myself, I'm a pretty happy chappy - like to meet new people and laidback. I am 22, but I look like I'm 28 and have a mortgage and two kids. Like having my surroundings tidy (though not super anal with it). I work for an airline and get super cheap tickets to travel around, so solid chance I'll be away on some of my days off. I work 24/7, so I can be working at any time. I am super quiet getting up during awkward hours though! Thank you! Ryan
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a room near Hawthorn- flexible with length of stay/suburbs/move date). :) I don't really mind who you are or what things you like doing, the only traits i'm really looking for are people who are laidback, open-minded and considerate of personal boundaries like privacy and comfort zones- if we get along well, nothing else is a concern for me. ...and punctuality with rent/housekeeping, but I suppose that's a given. 😌 I'd like to establish a cosy home atmosphere where everyone can feel genuinely "at home" and not just staying somewhere, and where there's no constant pressure to socialize but the opportunity is always there- it'd be great to live with people who can give you space but also have a good chat with. I love doing things that involve film, music, games and outings such as live events- and especially love it when there's other people to do it with, so flatmates who'd like to do those things are a bonus. If those things aren't really your cup of tea, i'm also open to new things and don't really drag people into my personal hobbies anyway. I don't care if you're alternative, sporty, artsy, introvert or extrovert, it's all totally fine- anyone that's kind and open-minded is good in my books. :) If you think we might get along, send me a message so we can chat- and possibly make plans if we do get along well. :) (Oh, if you're worried about my age and capacity for living independently- i've already adjusted to adult life so i'm fine in that regard, not a big spender. I also have an excellent rental history that I can provide references for upon request.)
