This 4 bedroom house in Kaleen is just a few minutes walking from the bus stop and local shops; one bus to Civic; close to primary, high schools and the University of Canberra. It also offers ample off-street parking in a safe neighborhood.
Great house in a fairy quiet area with an even better location! Close to the University of Canberra and Kaleen Coles (5 minute drive in opposite directions) and Westfield Belconnen and the Civic Center are each about a 10 minute drive away. Rent is $667 per month; approximately $167 per week. All other bills are split three ways ie. internet ($22 per person per month), gas and electricity. It’s a comfortable sized home with an open plan setting. The kitchen is modern and has a electric stove. There isn’t a dishwasher. The house is fully furnished and has a fully equipped laundry. There is central heating/cooling. Your room is cosy, and unfortunately does not have a built in robe but as a plus you’ll also get the ‘study’. The current tenant has converted the study into a makeshift ‘walk in wardrobe’ and has her study desk in her bedroom which seems to work really well! The two rooms (bedroom and study) can either come unfurnished, or you can chose to purchase the current furniture off the departing housemate - it’s all in great condition! The house has a dog; a beautifully minded Kelpie/Labrador.
Room available right now only $125 per week. Apartment has split system air conditioning and unlimited wi-fi. Ideal location for a student, with just a short walk to the shops and bus stop, as well as a five minute drive to UC and a fifteen minute drive to ANU and civic.
Hi there thanks for checking my profile, I am making a big move from sunny Brisbane to cool Canberra. I am very chilled and easygoing guy, always clean after myself. Love chatting with my flatmates and the occasional drink as well as hangout once in a while. I am a software professional and I am working for a Canberra based office and will be moving from Brisbane start of November. Looking for a place to move into with friendly and responsible flatmates ideally a bit close to the city(no particular suburb). I am fairly active and and keep myself busy most evenings either having dinner with friends(although I do not know many people in Canberra yet), going to the gym and I love latin dancing, have been doing that for years and end up going to some of those events few nights a week. I try to play a few sports but but almost bad at all of them(still play for fun)! When I am home I love to watch movies, some TV shows, cook sometimes, relax and have a conversation and work some times. I am not a party animal but like partying once in a while. Please message me if you think I am someone who you would like to live with and have a comfortable room to share :-) We can have a chat and go from there!
Large home with fast unlimited broadband WiFi. Close walking distance to local shops, public transport and University of Canberra. I am a PhD student in Physics and I will be in ANU for my last 6 months of PhD. I am quiet and respectfull of ones privacy and freedom. I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh.
Hi! I'm a 24-year old male currently living in Sydney, looking for a place down in Canberra as I have recently accepted a graduate position with an animal health organisation; I'd be looking to move down quite soon (mid/late October - early November). I'm a pretty laid-back person, and not much of a party-er. Things I enjoy: tennis, bushwalks/hikes, baking/cooking, skiing, jogging, sleeping in, reading (mainly fiction), playing the keyboard (don't worry, I only play with headphones) and days at the beach. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know!
The house is located within walking distance to UC, Institute of Sport, Institute of Technology (Bruce campus); 10 minutes of driving to ANU, City center, Australian Catholic University. Kaleen Coles is within the walking distance. Renovated kitchen and bathroom. Ducted gas heating. Unlimited internet included in rent. Spacious backyard with veranda and barbecue. The room and the house are fully furnished: new refrigirator, washing machine, coffee machine, rice cooker, etc. . The room 1 is situated in the new part of the house, which was built 6 years ago. It is spacious and light, fully furnitured, has a built in robe. The room 2 is a former master bedroom, built 6 years ago. There is an ensuite, spatious built in robe, double bed, big window is looking in the garden. The owners of the house moved overseas due to the work.
I come from China, worked& lived in Beijing,Shanghai and HongKong before. Now I work part-time and am also preparing for an examination. I'm clean, polite, respectful and openminded. Being so energetic, in my spare time I do quite a few sports(cycling,yoga,stretching,hip-hop dance, etc.) ; also I live in a quite healthy way, enjoying yummy and healthy food, tea, coffee, wine, books, music and movies. I am quiet open to talk but also respect each others' privacy as well.
Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously. Criteria: - Built in Robes (with lots of hanging space and shelves). This is non-negotiable. - Room that can fit a Queen Bed, side table, lots of other boxes/things etc. - Car port/ undercover parking with automatic doors. - En suite (preferable, but not a must. Happy to share a bathroom with one other, but no more). - Lots of storage space (inside the house - not a storage cage) - Dishwasher - Housemates that are not hermits - Age of household: 25-35. Ideally, I would like to live with people who are around my age, and are social.
I'm originally from central NSW, moved to Wollongong for uni and then came to Canberra in 2015 for a job in the public sector. I'm a seasoned veteran of the sharehouse, I'm super tidy and respectful of others' spaces. I haven't had any conflicts with my previous housemates to date and while I'm probably a bit more inclined to do my own thing than most I'm by no means a social hermit. I'm happy to accommodate your friends if the sentiment can be returned. I love traveling (actually I'm returning from a trip to the USA at the moment, hence looking for a place), also enjoy cycling and motorcycling, reading, Netflix binges, craft beer appreciation sessions and stimulating conversations about history, politics, society or pretty much anything if you're knowledgeable and passionate about it. If you think you could live with me or you have any other questions, please don't be shy! Cheers
This is a beautiful little house nestled in Kaleen. A short walk to the shops (5 minutes) a short drive to Kaleen Plaza (5 Minute Drive), We're located near GIO stadium and are not too far from Belconnen centre or the city. There is a bus stop near by. Lots of parking at the house. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe. You will need to provide your own linen. There is extra storage space out in the back shed. The gardens are beautiful and the room that is available looks out onto the front garden. It's an awesome view and you can just lay in bed watching the birds on a lazy morning. The back garden is just as nice and come spring there will be nothing better than enjoying a beer out there. Unlimited internet is included in the rent.
Single, 27 year old male. Currently working full time in the public service. I am looking for comfortable accommodation, with housemates that are fairly relaxed and chilled out people. Preferably bills and internet included in rent cost. But this is not a requirement. I am very tidy person and like to keep kitchens and bathrooms spotless. I am looking for a place where I can have my own privacy, which I will respect in turn, however, I am more than happy to socialise with my housemates as well.
The apartment is in a great location 5-10mins to UC, ANU, Belconnen and the City. There are 2 big shared living areas and bedrooms are large, easily fit a queen bed and each has own toilet. There is also a study, storage locker, large veranda, gym and pool. The living areas and kitchen are partially furniturshied but there is room for more.Non smokers and no pets. check out this link with some pictures of the house from 2012
Hi Future Flatmate! I have previously lived with a flatmate and have had no issues with keeping to the rules and guidelines of the premises. I can cook and clean up after myself and do not tend to party. I have a cat who is just the coolest little dude ever and gets along with other cats and dogs after some adjustment. He has lived with a smaller cat, a Rottweiler, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, a flock of ducks and chickens all simultaneously and this was never a problem. He is mainly a house kitten and does go for walks on a lead. He is up-to-date with all his vaccinations. I already have a bit of furniture of my own so I am currently seeking an unfurnished room to share. We can also discuss the remainder of the household items. Fridge, washer, sofa bed couch, tv unit and outside extendable dinning table +2 stools. I know the listing says 6 months but that is my minimum requirement for stay, I'm roughly aiming for 6-12 months. I am currently seeking work but please don't let that put you off. I was previously employed in the Army and am sure I will find a new career path soon.
would like to live in a quite place in the belconnen area, would prefer to live with an owner, or longer term stay, and would prefer an all inclusive rate. please send an email thanks
The house is spacious, modern, open-plan house which is great for entertaining and socialising. We have a deck, BBQ, central heating, and your room has an ensuite bathroom. The house is close to Kaleen shops, Belconnen mall, UC, and the city/ANU. Regular buses connect to the city / Belconnen.
I am a Malaysian born Chinese guy who has lived in Sydney since 2004. I recently accepted a hospital pharmacist role in Canberra and will need a place ASAP! I enjoy making conversation and chilling out, but I also love a good night out. In saying that I still like quiet time so I'd like to think I can be flexible with where I live. I've been mostly an indoor activities person but the plan is to do more outdoors! Currently training for running events and the occasional hike (when it isn't too cold or raining).
