Hello everyone, I am Merve, from Germany, and I’d love to be your new flatmate! I am a master student in evolutionary biology and I’ll be finishing up my mater thesis, starting in October, at the Brocks lab in the Earth Sciences department at ANU. Over the years I got to travel a lot and lived in a variety of places. I fought of monkeys from my sample sites in Hong Kong for 4 months, experinced polar bears and the northern lights in Svalbard for 6 months, went hiking throughout Sweden for 5 months and explored the US for a year. Throughout this time I have lived with many flatmates and enjoyed long discussions, amazing cook outs and meet amazing friends :). What I love most is to spend my evenings sharing some wine, amazing food and great conversation. I am also an enthusiastic hiker and love to explore nature around me. In my free time I also frequent bouldering gyms and I am planing to join the ANU mounteneering club for kayaking. Oh and I also dance some salsa, but I enjoy all kinds of music :)). I am somewhat of a science nerd and looove fossils as well as anything space related, but no worries I can somewhat contain myself ... at times :))). I am an outgoing person and never had problems approaching people, but since I am a student myself, I also respect peoples need for a quite home to study and relax as well. I am also a quite cleanly person since I like to feel cozy and comfortable at home. If you have any questions feel free to contact me anytime! Since I am currently still in Germany I would be more happy to set up a Skype meeting with you :] you can also contact me via email Hope to hear from you soon, Merve
4 Bedroom share house located in Kaleen, close to the Kaleen Plaza and bus lines directly to the city and Belconnen. The property is located within a very quiet and friendly neighbourhood with parking available under the carport. The room available is unfurnished other than a clothes hanger and double mattress which can be used or removed if required. The house has 2 living areas upstairs and a sizeable rumpus room downstairs, with plenty of space to make your own. Bills are split evenly before the end of the due period.
I'm a very easy-going bloke, who enjoys a good yarn. but i also like to keep to myself i enjoy the odd drink and i'm a non Smoker. i will be working part-time so i'll be out most weekdays. and i'm Studying FIlm & Media at TAFE 3 Days a week.
Female, aps contractor, studying law. In my final year and applying for graduate positions. I keep to myself most of the time. Though I do like the regular movie night and training sessions. I have a dog, titan, that's in training for the mind dog program as an assist dog. So he is well behaved, house trained and loving. He gets along with other dogs however he has a medical condition which makes living with xtra large dogs or overly active dogs not an option. Would love to return living in Canberra but it's getting pretty hard to find pet friendly accom as a one person. So keen for team ups and other living arrangements. South canberra would be my preference... anywhere lol. Keen for team ups
Set in the quiet suburb of Kaleen, this share house is perfect for the young professional or uni student looking to share with 3 friendly, clean, sociable young working professionals/students. The property is fully furnished (despite the photos), and has a spacious living area and brightly lit common area/open plan kitchen which gets plenty of sun in the mornings. The house is close to the supermarkets (Coles 2 km away), bus route to Belconnen or the City (2 min walk) and a 20 minute cycle to the City/ANU along established bike paths.

Hi, I’m Dale. I’m a 26yo male who works permanent part time at Canberra hospitals emergency department and I study medical radiation science full time at UC. I’ve been living in share houses for years so you could say I’m adequately “house trained” I enjoy socialising with my roomies but understand the important of alone time and free space (we all need it from time to time) in my spare time you’ll usually find me either sweating over an assignment at the gym in the kitchen or out and about. What I can offer your share house: A well trained housemate (cooks cleans bills and rent always paid on time) A beautiful hardwood dinning room set (will sell if no room) Various cook ware and dinning ware (will sell if no room) And a whooping 65” curved LED 4K smart tv with 5.1 surround sound. The perfect addition to the lounge room. If you like any of this please get in touch and perhaps we can organise a meeting.
I work full time, am clean and like to have a chat yet also respectful of others privacy. Non smoker. Looking for long term accommodation.

I have been living in Canberra for six months so far. I like cooking, sewing, singing, painting, and movies! I'm tidy and respectful, and not really into big parties. I have a two year old white-and-tabby indoor cat in Melbourne who I am looking to bring to Canberra. She's sweet and happy, doesn't really bother people, and has a rear joint displaysia which means she can't jump onto kitchen benches, and can't free-range outside. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a quiet, laid-back house. Ideally with heating and cooling, off street parking, and some kind of outside space. I have a tv, freezer, and bedroom furniture, and am happy to provide any other furniture if needed.
I am a 33 years old IT man and working for a company in Belconnen. I'm friendly and good to chat with. I like to keep things clean and respectful to everyone. I like playing video games, taking pictures, watching tv, reading and learning English. Thanks.
Mature, easy going, down to earth uni student (first year bachelor of finance)/bartender. Born and raised in Canberra, looking for a place in a share house towards the end of the year. I’m a pretty social person but do enjoy time to myself. Hobbies include: going to the gym, eating out and socialising with friends, watching sport and listening to music. Very domesticated (can cook, clean and sort out my own laundry) and have a well paying part time job, will pay bills on time. Feel free to shoot me a message if you want to know anything else!
Fantastic share house in one of the best streets in Kaleen, nice views over the mountains and close to shops, Canberra University, Belconnen and AIS. The bus stop is at the end of the street so you can be in the city or ANU in 15mins, Belconnen in 5 mins or ride your bike to Canberra Uni in less than 10mins. A Coles supermarket with cafe's and the kaleen indoor sports club with a large gym is about 100m away. The house itself is beautifully designed; it is a two story house over three levels. It has a nice lounge/dining with reverse cycle air conditioning/heating with an open plan kitchen on the top level. The second level has a large second lounge room with tv, couch and coffe/side table and the bottom level has two bedrooms (one rented) a separate bathroom and toilet with a large laundry. The house is fully furnished including a new fridge, washing machine, dryer and the kitchen has all cutlery, plates, glasses, pots and pans you will ever need. We also have VDSL at 60/30 download/upload speed so pretty much the fastest internet you can get in Canberra. The bills are split three ways evenly and we are very economical, I would suggest for water and electricity it should cost no more than about $20 a week. I don’t have an all inclusive price so you aren’t ripped off! Just pay for what you use 😊 The bedroom for rent is not massive but it is very nice, comfortable and clean. It’s furnished with a king single bed, side table, lamp, tallboy and a desk. It also has a double built in wardrobe; and a large sliding door out to a balcony, Just bring your suitcase and move in! I am looking for friendly individuals; Sorry no couples or pets. Call me for more information Thanks for looking!
I'm a bubbly, fun-loving person who is also tidy and an occasional introvert! I'm very musical and love anything outdoors or any adventures. I also love meeting new people. Looking for a place to stay by the end of August/beginning of September
