Hey hey hey. I'm a full time worker. But I don't work the average 9-5 hours. Start a little later and therefore finish a little later. I'm incredibly tidy and clean. Like to think I am easy going. Can provide a washing machine, fridge, television, dining table and other communal furniture. Not looking to share with more than one other person. Any further questions don't hesitate to shoot me through some questions!
Hi there, I'm Liza and I'm looking for a long-term rental for 2019. I'm 24 y.o. studying physiotherapy full time at the University of Canberra. I have lived independently in a number of share houses in the past. I'm very flexible and always down to chat/hang out. I enjoy the outdoors, I'm a non-smoker and I'm pretty easy going, tidy and clean. I'm looking to find a place with chilled room mates, close to uni and just general positive vibes. My current lease ends on the 31st of Jan but for the right place I'd be happy to look at starting an earlier contract.
Hi, I’m moving to Canberra from Adelaide to start a new job as a research scientist. I enjoy playing sports (especially tennis) and being out in nature. I’m friendly, respectful, and tidy.
Hi there! My name is Teaghan, im 21, from Sydney originally and currently studying Public Relations at UC (2nd year), i currently live on res but am looking to move off next year ! I'd consider myself a pretty social person with a positive laid-back personality. Ideally, I'd love to move in with someone around 18-26 who doesn't mind having a chat or hanging out and sharing a drink here or there, however am also respectful of others privacy as i like time to myself too. I am a clean person who is always happy to chip in with chores around the house and help out in any way i can. In my free time i love to get out of the house and do something, whether it be going for a walk around the park/lake, going shopping, watching a movie or just getting some lunch. Although i am also a bit of a homebody at times and am happy to have a day at home just chilling out. I'm looking to move in around January next year, so a bit early to look but shoot me a message if you think we would get along !
I am a single full-time working professional about to progress in a graduate APS role in Canberra. I'm quiet and keep to myself mostly but the experience of moving out and sharing a place will help to change things up and get me more active.
Hello, I am currently looking for a place close to my workplace in Lyneham. I am very quiet as I work full time and have an early start in the morning. No pets of my own but up until recently was volunteering at a veterinary clinic so am animal friendly. Non-smoker and rarely drink.
Fully furnished room in Kaleen from 24 November to 2 January. Great location with walking distance from Bus stops (for buses to UC, ANU and city center). Coles in 2 mins walk. All bills are included. Central Heating, Air conidtioner in the house.
I'm a cheerful, laid-back country girl studying makeup. I'm quiet and tidy but is always down for drinks and get-togethers. On arrival in Canberra I'll be looking for part-time work but as of right now I'm unemployed.
Hey there! I'm moving to Canberra the first week in January to commence Study at the University of Canberra under the Vision/Health Science Degrees. I'm an easy going person that has lived in shared accommodation before both with and without students so definitely have some experience on that part. I will be working Part-Time in Canberra around my studies as well and potentially a smaller second job and will be studying at home and Uni most of the time when hours are free so if you are looking for a quiet roommate that will be no problem. Most of the time I enjoy listening to and playing a variety of music as well as acting in stage and musicals, I also enjoy a good Video Game (I have most of the latest systems so they will be coming with me.) I also love any activities that allow me to socialize and enjoy spending time in other peoples company. Feel free to send me a message if you are interested in a team-up or wanting a roommate and we can get to know each other more!
Fantastic share house in one of the best streets in Kaleen, nice views over the mountains and close to shops, Canberra University, Belconnen and AIS. The bus stop is at the end of the street so you can be in the city or ANU in 15mins, Belconnen in 5 mins or ride your bike to Canberra Uni in less than 10mins. A Coles supermarket with cafe's and the kaleen indoor sports club with a large gym is about 100m away. The house itself is beautifully designed; it is a two story house over three levels. It has a nice lounge/dining with reverse cycle air conditioning/heating with an open plan kitchen on the top level. The second level has a large second lounge room with tv, couch and coffe/side table and the bottom level has two bedrooms (one rented) a separate bathroom and toilet with a large laundry. The house is fully furnished including a new fridge, washing machine, dryer and the kitchen has all cutlery, plates, glasses, pots and pans you will ever need. We also have VDSL at 60/30 download/upload speed so pretty much the fastest internet you can get in Canberra. The bills are split three ways evenly and we are very economical. Everything is provided, all you need to bring is your suitcase and move in! I am looking for friendly individuals; Sorry no couples or pets. Call me for more information Thanks for looking!
Nice quiet family home, currently occupied by mother and daughter. Must love dogs as we have two of our own, both rescues. Ghost is a Malamute Cross and loves people more than anything. Millie is a mixed breed and is wary of new people, so she may bark at first, but once you charm her with food and belly rubs and she gets used to you she's your new best friend. House is equipped with cooling and heating. We have a dryer but prefer to hang our clothes up, so it's really only used when something needs drying ASAP. Have started a herb garden, so if you like cooking you're welcome to use the herbs available. However, they're only in early stages at the moment. We have a Treadmill, Rowing Machine and Exercise Bike that you'll have free use of. Spacious backyard with deck, 5 minute walk from UC, 10 min to CIT Bruce campus, 15 min drive to the city and 5 minute drive from Belconnen Mall. Buses come hourly on Maribyrnong Avenue and regularly on Baldwin Drive. (Have added a picture of approx location of house and points of interest, including bus stops) Looking for quiet roommates so no loud music at night, and must be respectful of personal space.
Hi! I'm a full-time uni student at UC who works part time and looking for a place in 2019. I'm looking mainly for 1 other student female housemate although 2 would be my max. I'm super chill and really easy to get along with. As a housemate, I'm neat and tidy, enjoy cooking, and always clean up after myself. I love a good movie to watch or have a few chill drinks, but I also appreciate time by myself. I'm fairly flexible and easy to accomodate so I'm not too hard to get along with :)
I have been living in Canberra for six months so far. I work full time with the ACT public service, and am based in Belconnen. I like cooking, sewing, singing, painting, and movies! I'm tidy and respectful, and not really into big parties. I have a two year old white-and-tabby indoor cat in Melbourne who I am looking to bring to Canberra. She's sweet and happy, doesn't really bother people, and has a rear joint displaysia which means she can't jump onto kitchen benches, and can't free-range outside. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a quiet, laid-back house. Ideally with heating and cooling, off street parking, and some kind of outside space. I have a tv, freezer, and bedroom furniture, and am happy to provide any other furniture if needed.
I'm a 23yr old part-time animal science student. Am about to begin my placement and looking for somewhere to stay from end of October through till early January. Not a partier, but love a beverage and to socialise.
I'm a full time student at the ANU studying a double degree in linguistics and archaeology. I am quiet and stick to myself, however I won't say no to an evening socializing with my housemates or a spontaneous grocery trip. I have previous experience sharing a house and am very keen on creating a welcoming environment. In my free time I enjoy watching Netflix, baking, reading, playing video games, and listening to podcasts. I would like to take up gardening, so if you have one that would be a big plus! I am more than happy if you have pets, and am very good with cats, but if you have a big and/or energetic dog I would like to meet them first. I do not have a car and cannot cycle due to medical reasons, so it would be great if there are bus stops nearby. NOTE: My maximum budget of $300pw includes bills. I look forward to meeting you :)
I'm an easy going, fun 23 year old currently working full time in event management. I've been in Canberra for 5 years and just returned from exchange in the USA. I'm usually pretty busy but in my free time I'm usually at the gym, catching up with friends or binge watching Netflix. I'm fairly easy going, love a clean house and have lived in previous share houses so I appreciate other people's need for quiet time!
Hey there! I'm Eryn and I'm quite the dynamite gal. I've just completed my Cert IV in Musical Theatre but will not serenade you with broadway songs if you do not wish for me to do so. I'm a pretty arty person and love to draw/get my art on and obviously perform. I'm currently working 3 jobs in children's entertaining/educating and customer experience. I'm a fully grown child and love to watch anything disney (classic and pixar), As a theatre girl, I would consider myself outgoing (but not whack job crazy) but I do respect that some people need privacy/quiet time :) I appreciate the casual wine and cheese nights, although I appreciate the cheese more so than the wine. Let me know if you have any more questions!
Just another bloke at the pub. I'm a former ANU and UC student and have done several sharehouses over the last 6 years odd, so understand the nature of various households. I'm flexible and able to adapt myself to the requirements of housemates, having lived with men and women of various individual natures. I am a Football (soccer) enthusiast, refereeing football and futsal regularly. I'm also playing local level (social) cricket on Saturdays, enjoy lawn bowls, pub trivia and local gigs. Anything fun, its all an adventure. I'm generally a sociable person, but have days where I'll disappear into a book or tv show in my room, as we all do. I'm Just a regular pleb frankly. I quit my previous job to travel to the World Cup in Russia, so I've been in Port Macquarie with my parents since returning from Europe. Currently on Newstart but I have 5 nights a week refereeing football/futsal lined up in Canberra so I will be able to readily afford essential living expences while looking for more regular work. Geographically flexible in Canberra area, mainly returning to Canberra for the purpose of cricket season. Trying to keep it on the cheaper side. Happy for a furnished or unfurnished room, any size. Any questions just give us a shout! Cheers, Matthew.
Hi All I am a neat and tidy guy looking for shared accommodation. I am a permanent worker in disability. In my spare time I like gaming, chess and playing music. At home I always play acoustic and then practise with my mates elsewhere. I have early starts and late finishes so I am not into partying. I also plan on returning to study and working next year. I tend to keep to myself a bit but also enjoy a chat over a glass of wine occasionally. Look forward to hearing from you.
I am an international student doing his master’s in management and information systems from ANU and working at a cafe. Generally, I'm pretty chilled out and of helpful demeanour and get along with people quite easily. I like to play, follow and watch sports, also some drama and sitcoms. I'm a vegetarian (not a problem if you aren't) and I often cook my meals and love to share my food. Also, I don`t mind a beer or wine every now then and always up for a good chat. I'm pretty good with my bills and rent payments as well and I like my surroundings clean and organised though not obsessed about it. If there's anything else, you would like to know about me please feel free to message me. 🙂
Hey there! My name is Olivia and i'll be moving to Canberra January 2019 to start a BA in museum studies and conservation. A little about me is that I currently work within the entertainment industry as a costume/props maker. So I love to sew and make things! I'll also be moving with my 1 year old cat Lucy, who is very sweet, loves treats and prefers to do her business outside. When I move I have a preference for a house/townhouse rather than a apartment (just something with a yard for Lucy, she likes to climb trees). Another preference is a larger room as I will be coming with a bed, dress mannequin and a pretty large desk which I use for sewing an such. Im not fussy when it comes to a place that is already established or not (i.e. furniture, kitchen stuff). Location Im looking for a place that will be within bicycle ride of Canberra Uni would be amazing! But I also have a car so not a priority :) Any other questions please don't hesitate to ask :D
