Hi, I am an international PhD student . I have been Australia in a year and a half. I am taking care of my friends house now but he is coming back Australia at the end of this month so I have to find new accommodation in a week. I am a quiet and easygoing Chinese girl who is working full time as a student. I like playing Pingpang game and have got a champion in a school tournament. I also start to learning yoga for exercise. I like to keep my room clean. At the weekend, I like learning cooking. Best
Started full-time work as an office manager this year. Enjoy going to the gym or chilling at home watching netflix after work. I like going out for coffee, brunch and to the movies on the weekends.
Hi, I’m looking to join an existing sharehouse or start one. I’ve been lazily lurking here awhile to see what’s what, but I’m now getting my butt into gear and am actively looking. I’m a non-smoker and am looking for a non-party household. I’m fairly tidy and enjoy a good book, Netflix, going out for coffee and food, Reddit, YouTube and video games. I’m a night owl but I don’t make too much noise. I enjoy a good movie night or family dinner every so often. I manage a retail store at Westfield Belconnen currently and am looking for full-time professionals or reliable students to share with. I’m keen to make a home, not just a house. I’d prefer to live with 1-3 women in their 20s/early 30s but am flexible. I’m okay with including a guy in our house too. If we’re starting a sharehouse, I’d love to get a newer place with larger rooms and a bit of light, but obviously with uni starting back the competition is stiff right now. I come with bedroom furniture and random other bits and pieces for the common areas, though I can get rid of them too if necessary. Shoot me a message to meet up/show me a room. Cheers, Scarlett
In a furnished house independent room with Attached bathroom is available for rent. Room is semifurnised with two mattress and a chair. I am a vegetarian so kitchen utensils are available only for vegetarian cooking. For non vegetarian cooking kindly get your own utensils. There is a huge hall and a big dinning space. House has also got a gym cycle.
One of your best housemates garenteed; even a new good mate 😁😁 Respectful, reliable and honest. Really easy going, fun and down to earth. Moving from Jindabyne nsw
Hi. I'm Sarah. I'm 21 years old, and I'm looking for like-minded people to live with. I am a chill, friendly, easy-going person to live with. I am tidy, respectful and I enjoy a good household hang out. I am a musician (flute, piano, guitar and vocals), and I love attending live gigs wherever possible. I also really enjoy cooking (for myself and for others). I love films, pop culture and reading. I spend a lot of my free time reading, or watching Netflix. I am a newly converted (wannabe) gym nut. I am focusing on getting healthy and being active. I have an 8 year old White Russian cat named Milo who I would absolutely love to bring along.
Hi potential future housemates. My name is Meg, and I'm a beginning teacher. I'm looking for a pet-friendly place to call home, preferably in the Belconnen area. About me: I'm a 28-year-old female. I'm vegetarian, but don't mind what you eat. I'm fairly left-wing and non-religious. My interests include art (mostly sculpting), walking and running, reading, writing, watching TV/movies, drinking tea, discussing politics/philosophy/the meaning of life, chilling with friends, outdoor adventures, board games, and experiencing new things. I'm starting out in my teaching career, and will probably be focussed on work over the next few months. I am fluent in Auslan (Australian Sign Language). I have a car and a motorbike. About my pets: (it sounds like a lot, but you'll only really see the dog) 1 Dog (young bichon frise) - Micky is a small, hypoallergenic (non-shedding) dog who will probably live with me part-time. He is young (8 months), and training is ongoing, but is friendly and loveable. He is an inside dog, and will need a dog door and a small yard. He is attending puppy school. He would probably love another dog for company, but I would have to see how he gets on with other pets before committing to a place. I have no idea how he would get on with a cat. 2 guinea pigs - Titian and Smudge are male guinea pigs. They live exclusively outdoors. They will need a semi-sheltered section of yard for their hutch. Beyond that, you won't notice they exist unless you choose to interact with them (in which case, they are quite cuddly). 3 cockatiels - I have three cockatiels that live in a movable cage. They are used to living indoors, but could be relocated to a sheltered outdoor area (such as a covered verandah). Cockatiels can be quite noisy. Again, you would not have to have any interaction with them unless you chose to. I'm looking for: A room, granny flat or studio in a place with a yard and a small dog door. I have a car, a motorbike and a pushbike. I'm happy for my car to be parked on-street, but would prefer my motorbike and pushbike to be out of sight of the road. I'm looking for laid-back housemates who are happy to hang-out occasionally and have a chat, but are also happy to do their own thing. My budget is up to $200/week, but would pay more if bills are included. If you're interested, you can contact me on *oh for to five nine three oh seven ate ate* (written this way so it's not picked up by spam bots).
I am a Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer so very active and will be travelling back and forth to the house a few times a day as my work hours are all over the place. Very chilled and easy to live with. Will spend most of my time at home watching tv and chilling with my dog - Raven. She is a Great Dane with the most beautiful nature and easy to get a long with. She loves her cuddles and may accidentally sit on your lap from time to time
I'm very accommodating and friendly. I am currently living in a shared house, but the people I am with whing all the time and make me feel like I'm walking on egg shells. I'm just looking for friendly laid back people to live with.

I have recently moved back to Canberra after living away for about 4 or 5 years and am looking for a new place to move into. I am a 23 year old veterinarian who is moving to Canberra to start a new job. I will be moving to Canberra at the beginning of March and am ideally looking for somewhere to stay for 6 months. I am a polite and tidy person and enjoy cycling, hiking, reading and baking when not working. I am looking for a share house with some friendly flat mates who don't mind the occasional evening chats over a glass of wine.
I'm an ANU student studying physics and economics, currently working part-time at a leisure center. I'm used to busy youth hostels and shared accommodation situations when traveling, have a huge respect for privacy, am very relaxed, and enjoy cooking! I'm a huge arts lover, so I guarantee you'll never have a shortage of solid movie and music recommendations. Enjoy contemplating life, chatting about space exploration, or just chilling over drinks? I'm your guy. Moved from Washington DC, US after graduating high school early 2015, and am accepting the inevitable broke university-student-life in Canberra. I'm looking for similarly-aged people to share somewhere close to either Belconnen Center or ANU, but am interested in joining existing housemates if you're looking for one!

One large queen bedroom (3.6m x 3.4m floor space), unfurnished, built-in robes, separate bathroom. Another bedroom available to store additional furniture, or use as a separate study/sitting room. Three bedroom house (main bedroom separated from other bedrooms); living spaces in between. Ducted gas heating. Transact cable internet wi-fi. Garage. Covered rear deck. Small, low maintenance garden (no work for housemate). Neat, tidy, quiet home - with music usually playing in the background (eclectic taste). Short walk to Dickson shopping centre (including Woolworths and the many restaurants), and two gyms (Flames and NextGen). Suit a mature, social, open-minded housemate. I prefer a sociable environment: a mate sharing a house, rather than a tenant. Sharing a drink and chat after work, the occasional meal, sitting down and watching the footy/TV/DVD together; not someone who spends every evening in their (bed)room. A fellow tennis/squash player or beach-goer would be great. Non-smoker requirement. Stable professional job who can pay rent on time. About me: 50, Public Servant. I walk to work most days (weather permitting), and keep regular hours. Non-smoker, and prefer quiet nights in or catching up with friends in a cafe/bar/restaurant rather than clubbing or partying. Love sports (prefer playing, but also watching) ... tennis, squash, soccer, netball. Enjoy beach (regular trips to the Coast on weekends in summer), cooking, theatre, reading, sci-fi movies/TV.
I am a lively 52 yr old from Adelaide who moved here recently and I need stable accomadation. I am clean, can cook and I smoke. Love music, reading, tv/movies and generally am quiet.
I am a professional business person seeking another mature minded person who is employed, and has a cheerful disposition, to share with myself and two others. The house has four bedrooms, with 3 living areas, one of which I partly use as a home office. The layout of the house is conducive to both socialising and privacy. Located next to the reserve and lake at Nicholls, it’s only a few minutes’ walk to shops; restaurants; Club Lime gym; free out-door gym; and bus stops. Your bedroom is large (4.2m x 3.6m) with a generous sized built in robe, and is fitted with professional picture rails so you can hang what you like, where you like on the walls. No long queues for the bathroom space as you will be sharing with just one other considerate male. The house has evaporative cooling, and the tiled areas of the house have under floor heating. We generally share the cooking. Although you don’t need to be a gourmet chef, knowing your way around a kitchen is an advantage. There is no extra charge for all household expenses which includes House Cleaner, Electricity and NBN. Food and your personal requisites are extra. In the past, other people that have stayed long term have been Professionals, Semi-Professionals, Working Students, Military and Tradies. No couples please, but your overnight guests are most welcome. This is a non-smoking household, but outside smokers would be welcomed.
It's a big house, plenty of space. Large kitchen to all cook at the same time and not be ontop of each other. Two lounge rooms to chill out in and Plenty of parking spaces. The bedroom available has a king single Bed and desk but can be removed if necessary. It could probably fit a double bed and a bedside table. We have another spare room which is slightly bigger and can fit a double bed and bedside table but doesn't have a wardrobe. We would like to keep this one as a spare room for when we have family visit but can negotiate if necessary ☺
