Bills are additional - we have unlimited internet which is $30/month and electricity (from memory it's been about $50/month of late). I have Netflix and Stan accounts which you're welcome to use. You'll be sharing with me, Leith - I'm completing my PhD in public health and working part-time at UQ. I also need my alone time sometimes and respect others need for theirs :-) While I do enjoy a good beer, or wine, or gin, I'm not a big partier anymore (although I may make an exception when I submit my phd). Looking for an easy-going housemate. Someone that can become a friend would be great as the place is too small to not get along! I'm not a clean freak but do expect the communal areas to be kept clean and tidy. I do enjoy sports and watch a fair bit of it, so liking sport (or at least not hating it) would be good. Hello everyone I am just about to sign on to a new lease for this gorgeous two bed apartment in New Farm. My current housemate is moving in with her boyfriend and I am hoping to find a new awesome person to share this little gem with. The property has its own little private courtyard and off-street entrance. It also has the benefits of a pool and a big outdoor deck, perfect for bbq's in summer time. Located in central New Farm, it is 1 min away from the bus stop and walking distance to the shops and central Brisbane. The move in date is fairly flexible at this stage – my housemate is able to move out basically at any time and we are hoping to have this all organised as soon as possible before Christmas and the holiday season comes around.
