Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time! :)
10 minute walk to Chermside mall. Right near Gympie rd but faces onto Alice street. Has air con in every room. The kitchen is nice and big which includes the laundry but still has plenty of room to cook. The apartment is brand new and I am the first person to live here. Plenty of off street parking or if you can grab a visitors park then go for it. Is located on the 2nd floor with west facing balcony. I have the room with the ensuite and the other bedroom is right next to the main bathroom. I dont have internet at the moment since my work plan covers me for all the data I need but am willing to get an internet connection. Bond is 4 weeks rent but am willing to negotiate depending on length of stay and if you cant afford it up front Im sure we can work something out as Ive already payed for it. I have only been living here for 3 weeks so I havent fully set up the apartment but maybe we could get some wicked Feng Shui going on.
Trying to get my priorities right, one of which includes moving closer to the northside so I can enjoy a few more extra minutes of sleep - because everyone knows that a nurse enjoys that head to pillow-shut-eye time. I'll happily raise my hand and admit that I am an a happy little extrovert because I love meeting new people and have been sharing and caring since I was ten. Just to elaborate on that a bit, I was at boarding school, then did a bit of backpacking, decided I wanted to use my head again which involved living on campus at college whilst at uni and well now I am here in a share house looking to share again. Don't fret though I know the classic signs and symptoms of someone that needs their own space and will happily oblige. I try and make the most of my days off and am always up for an adventure, whether that is a market trip, off for some vitamin D and sea, trying to complete a 1000 piece puzzle or discovering funky new nooks and crannies to eat, drink or watch movies at. If you have any questions just type away.
- Big kitchen - Your own private room along with own bathroom (Big shower) - Perfect covered outdoor area with BBQ and outdoor setting - fully furnished unit apart from your bedroom, I am getting a new couch within the next week or 2. - Quiet little street close to shops - Chermside shops are only a small drive away - Coles/woollies are less than 5mins drive - Built in wardrobe - A/C in living room - spare bedroom has ceiling fan - Dishwasher - Washing machine + Dryer - Off street parking but its first in best dressed. Otherwise there is on street parking. - Will be getting internet soon - Will have to be added to the lease

Hi my name is Albany. I am from Venezuela, I was living with a beautiful Australian family but they are moving out and I need to find a place soon. I am working part time as a barista at the Holy Spirit Hospital while studying accounting. I am happy, friendly person. I am usually out of the house working or at TAFE. I enjoy staying at home and watch a movie or read a book. Don't like parties that much and I do not smoke.
The room will be available on the 26th of October. The house is on a quiet street in Kedron, close to the Kedron Brook, the soon-to-be-opened Coles Kedron and relatively central to everything. It's got polished timber floors throughout, a modern kitchen and bathroom with separate toilet. There's plenty of space for furniture in the living room, if you need extra space. The backyard is big and shady, great to enjoy the upcoming summer months! We are looking for someone that is happy to be on the lease for 12 months as we will be renewing it at the end of October. Sorry. No Pets or smokers.
Hey hunters! This place was our home since 25th of Jan 2016 until my partner got a job in Sydney recently, so it is just me now, and I will be moving down to Sydney slowly but surely! It is a really cosy unit and pretty big for only one person so I am looking for someone to share the space who is willing to call this nice place home! It is a new building and we were the first to move in with my partner. The spare room is only used for one month while my parents were visiting us, so your bed has only been used for a really short period of time and the bed itself is not even 1 years old! There is a wall to wall built-in wardrobe!! House is fully furnished, it has a massive balcony, a nice BBQ and a great view of the Bradbury Park! Kitchen has everything you would need; a massive fridge (which is brand new), dishwasher, kettle&toaster, sandwich press, coffee machine, blender, and some other small goods - I love cooking so I have many things here. I have space if you want to study with a spare monitor, Bluetooth keyboard, mouse and a white board :) . Living room is very big so we both can have our own space. You will have the main bathroom but don’t worry no-one else will use it but you, if anyone visits me they will use my own bathroom. I have a brand new washing machine, so the fridge and the washing machine are only 9 months old. there is many cupboards and little storage things everywhere so you will find living here quite handy I promise! I have Netflix so you are very welcome to use it as well and also unlimited internet is $30 monthly but we can have a chat about that. There is aircon in every room and fan in the bedrooms and you will get a secure car park for your car. I know I get really excited while I am talking about the place sorry but you feel happy when you wake up here! LEASE ENDS on the 23rd of JAN
I'm 18 amost 19 and am looking for a place to live. I work part time Monday to Friday. I am a receptionist for a real estate agency in Hamilton and am looking for somewhere close to a train and bus line. I am fully independent as my mum lives in the UK and my dad has moved interstate so I'm all alone in Brisbane :( I'm really respectful. I am very neat and tidy and love to have a chat but can leave you alone when you need privacy. Please message me only to suit my budget of $170 inc bills, thank you x I'm also every keen to start a house share and get together 3 or 4 people
Were two young guys (one student, one working full time ) looking to move to brissy at the end of November start of December. Both very socialble easy going people, love our sport, nights out and in and anything in between. We both currently and have lived out of home before so we are very courteous of personal space and clean individuals. We're always up for an adventure and good times and can literally get along with anyone! If there's anything more you need to know be sure to flick us a message!
Hey there future housemates! I'm moving up to Brisbane early next year (depending on finding a place) and so I'm looking for a room! Would prefer something in an existing share house with something big enough to fit a double/ queen bed. I'm clean and organised so keeping the place tidy is no problem for me I'm often the one picking up after others! I mostly keep to myself and will respect others' space but wouldn't mind a drink or two and a chat every now and then! I'm generally pretty laid back and relaxed (not about that drama) and looking for likeminded and social housemates. Ps: would be a bonus if I can have my family or friend stay in my room if they came to visit me from Adelaide! Please don't hesitate to message me for any questions or find me on Facebook! Thanks in advance!
Hi my name is Fin, I work in Hamilton as a jeweller. My cat Luna and myself are looking for a place to live, preferably close to Hamilton. I'm a very quiet and tidy housemate who works full time five or six days a week, and I'll always pay my rent and bills on time. Please make sure your place is pet friendly before you message me.
I am fairly quiet and tend to keep to myself but happy to hang out for a chat. I rarely have people over as I prefer to visit friends instead. Will never have loud music or tv going. At most will watch netflix on a tablet and be quiet and respectful when others are sleeping. Accompanying me are two bludgers who sleep most of the day and normally only talk when hungry. These two cats are clean and will usually stay out of the way unless you are offering attention/ pats (they are open to food bribes). I do not like having toys etc scattered around the house so their impact should be minimal to the household. While I am disabled I have no issue paying bills on time and helping keep common areas clean. Will pick up after myself and also happy to do odd jobs at times to help others out. No house modifications required as do not need mobility assistance. I'm a non smoker and do not drink. I prefer long term stay but am flexible at the moment and happy to have a trial period if required. I am looking for anywhere in Brisbane at the moment.
Easy going full time working professional (IT / Projects) looking to house share within Brisbane region. Clean and Tidy and social personality but also always respect my flatmates space. Good with pets (especially dogs! lol) and easy working in with flatmates when it comes bill sharing, etc. I commute to CBD daily for work so would be great to find a place close to train lines. Originally from NZ and been in Brisbane for almost 3 yrs now, during the week i'm pretty boring (lol) normally just busy working, gym, and a little study or TV comprises my daily routine, but on weekends love to get out to the Sunshine Coast or GC when is sunny, or hit the local and watch rugby / sports. As mentioned I'm super laid back and respectful as a flatmate, and looking to fit in with a cool bunch who would hopefully end up awesome mates as well as flatties! Feel free to ask me any questions.
Clean, easy going, tidy, friendly Hi :) I'll be moving to Brisbane from Adelaide to work as a Veterinarian in late Nov 2016. I will be working a lot but also be new to QLD so will still enjoy chatting, having a laugh, friendly banter and joining in on any household activities occasionally as well as enjoying my own space too and keeping very busy with work and study. I've lived in a share house with 3 males for 2.5 years so I know how to respect and tolerate others. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends, running, hiking and cooking. I have a 25kg, 18 month old mixed breed dog (called Mowgli) with me. He never barks and is friendly with dogs, people and children. He lives outside while people are working but inside at night when I am home. He has done obedience training and has very good manners, although he is energetic and enthusiastic. He will sit at doors until you enter if asked and will stay out of any areas you don't want him to be, if you let him know. He also loves to cuddle and knows some tricks :) He is walked for at least an hour (by me) every day, is well trained an very well loved by all. If necessary I can provide references for him from my current housemates. I am generous, open minded and easy going with a sense of humor but also tidy, clean, respectful. I can am pretty tolerant but I generally appreciate cleanliness as the default and happy to contribute my fair share. I'm looking for somewhere pet friendly with a decent sized fully fenced yard walking distance to a park or the kedron brook bikeway with at least 2 friendly, relaxed but clean and tidy people.
Looking to join an existing share house or start a new one with the right sort of personalities. I'm a friendly, respectful and aware individual who is equal parts social as I am independent. Flexible and considerate of others, I've spent over a decade house sharing and know what it takes to coexist harmoniously. I have a creative side and would ideally like to find a place with a little space for me to work on paintings, some furniture reno's etc. I have a rag doll cat Herbie, so must be pet friendly. Any questions don't hesitate. Happy to answer :)

Hello peeps! If you are looking for the most chilled out and awesome flatmate ever, look no further, you have found her! I am a 22 year old engineer and mathematician from Mumbai and I am moving to Brisbane by the end of October 2016 for a job. I am fun and talkative, an avid reader, in the process of discovering yoga and a big TV series and movies buff. I love meeting new people and hence I wish to live in a flatshare where everyone chills together, cook occasionally, go out for meals, party and hang out. At the same time I also value the privacy of an individual, so you do your thing and I do mine. I am also extremely good at following recipes of the internet and making some lip-smackingly delicious food. I am a vegetarian, non-smoker and a social drinker but I have no qualms in sharing a living space with people with a different lifestyle. So, If you feel I am the kind of person you could live with, don't hesitate to contact me! Cheers, Maddy
Hi there, My name is Amanda and i am looking to find people to sign a lease on a property with. I am looking at 2 or 3 bedroom places in most parts of inner Brisbane. I have a small dog called Indie too. She is a black and white Beagle x Cocker Spaniel that is super chilled and loves all people. I have all the furniture for the house including couch, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine, outdoor furniture and all pots and pans and things so you would only need your bedroom stuffs to move in. I would need a place with a courtyard or outdoor yard for my dog so i would be looking at either townhouses or houses mostly. I would like the house to have 2 bathrooms and aircon is a must. I work full time as a Personal Assistant and do Yoga and Dance on a few of the week nights so this takes up most of my time during the week and i am only rarely in the house to eat, sleep, and a little bit of TV. On my weekends i like to get outside with the dog and friends and love my red wine and good eats. Not much of a party animal anymore. I don't smoke and don't do drugs. If this sounds like you please be in contact and we can chat about future living arrangements. Amanda
Jake works 8-4:30 for BUPA in the CBD. He keeps to himself, is tidy and would rather stay in playing video games than going out on the weekend. Drew works shift work for Miss Kay's and keeps to himself at home. Jake has a car and Drew relies on public transport. Both of us go to Goodlife on Queen Street and we usually do meal preps of 2-3 days worth of meals at a time. We're both Xbox people and have a washing machine and full kitchen, lounge and dining set ups ready to move. We're looking for a third so we can move somewhere a bit bigger than our current unit that also happens to be closer to a train line. We're after 3-4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1-2 garage. We need to give 4 weeks' notice to our current landlord.
MODERN - BRAND NEW APARTMENT 🌴 I have been living here for a couple of months and i've decided i will be moving out with my boyfriend into a house so that my two pups can have a backyard. I am the first tenant to live in this apartment and it honestly is amazing. It is close to anything you may need, Westfield Chermside, countless Gyms, the City, Public transport etc. The greatest benefit i have found is that they are extremely pet friendly with a dog park 5mins walk! I am wanting to move as soon as i find someone to take over my lease, asap! 😊 May also have furniture for cheap sale that i won't need to be taking with me! Love to hear from anyone interested ASAP, Milly
21 year old full-time worker looking for a place to live closer to the Brisbane CBD. I am very clean and tidy, I do like to have a wine and cheese on the weekends and also like to keep to myself. I am an outgoing person, however can mix with any type of person.
I am Griffith Uni student and working part time in customer service. Have my own vehicle. Clean, friendly, considerable. Love to give respect to others privacy. I would love to get some relaxed and chilled flat mates preferably close to my which with whom it's possible to enjoy a weekend chat.. Cheers
Hi There! My name is Krishneel and I am 21. I am currently working full time in logistics having moved from Sydney for this job near the airport so I would preferably like to live closer to work. I would consider myself to be an easy going relaxed person who enjoys socialising with the people I live with but at the same time understand people need their own space too :) I am a clean and reliable person who always pays rent on time. If there is anything i've missed please dont hesitate to ask :)
Bubbly personality, easy going and down to earth. I work in a warehouse 25-40 hours a week. I'm into gaming and TV series like any normal 24 yr old. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. I have my own car so I tend to be the designated driver. I will only be at the house Mon-Thurs as I stay with my partner over the weekend.
Hi guys! I'm Sam, and I'm currently studying Education full-time at QUT Kelvin Grove. I currently live an hour and half away on public transport from uni, so I'm looking for something closer to uni. I work part-time and play sport on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings! I'm tidy and like to keep to myself, but I'm always up for chill evenings and the occasional night out.
Light and breezy upstairs room available in quiet 2 story Kedron house. Available now! I lived in this fantastic share house for 18 months and have only just recently moved out as I bought my own property. Looking to find someone to take over my lease which is signed until January. There is a perfect sized single room measuring 3x3.6m with large built in wardrobe. Extra space in a shared study nook outside bedroom, perfect for a desk. The bathroom is only shared with one other housemate, and it is a separate toilet and bathroom. There is a large communal living area downstairs with an open plan kitchen. The stove top and dishwasher have recently been updated. The communal areas are furnished, but there is plenty of storage space in lock-up garage and under stairs if you have extra furniture or boxes. The house is situated in a quite neighbourhood, and all rooms have a leafy outlook. There is a very productive passionfruit vine in the garden! Perfectly located - 10mins drive to Chermside shopping centre - Short walk to frequent buses going to the city - Multiple supermarkets within 10mins drive - 20mins drive to city - 5mins walk to local cafe with excellent coffee!
Hi! We are a couple looking to team up with someone AWESOME to find a new place to live. We are pretty easy-going people, we we'd like to find someone else who is too. I (Shari) work full time in HR, sometimes long hours so I'm pretty much a home body during the work week. Jon is from the US and studying full time at Uni. We are very interested in team ups to look for a pet friendly house within 30 minutes of Kelvin Grove, which is where I work. We need a pet friendly house because of Basil, our black labrador. He is a beautiful, friendly boy and is well trained (even if I do say so myself!). Send us a message if you want to have a chat!
