Heya, I'm a 21 y/o accompanied by my lovely doggo Zephyr (she is used to being the only dog of the house tho!). Working part-time and is looking for a house/somewhere with enough room for my pup. Generally quite and keep to myself 80% of the time after work but is up for some fun and a few drinks when I can
I’m generally conscientious and have over 5 years experience living with roommates. I spent ~8 years in the USA — where I completed my bachelor's and master's — and moved back to Aus about 1.5 years ago. I've also lived in a few other countries. I'll be in Brisbane for at least a year to pursue some projects. I’m social, but I do enjoy my alone time so I’d be looking for a roomate/roomates who would be understanding of that. If there's anything else you'd like to know, feel free to ask. Looking at a mid-May move in.
I have a room available in my lovely, peaceful Kedron home. The house features 2 living areas, a modern kitchen, large wrap-around verandah, a great yard with a fire pit and storage under the house. Flooring is polished timber and there is air-conditioning throughout the living areas. Bedroom comes furnished with bed and desk, (or can be stored) and contains built-in wardrobe and ceiling fan. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet with plenty of street parking. 10 min walk to buses or 10 min drive to the “Park n Ride” Eagle Junction train station. Shops and restaurants are a 2min drive or 15 min walk, and only 15mins drive to the city. I have 2 (friendly) cats, which means I am looking for flatmates with no pets. Sorry No Smokers.
Friendly open minded vegan who is studying and working part time. I enjoy being social and trying new things - more then keen to find some like minded people to live with and learn about. It’s a package deal with my beautiful dog so being a pet lover is a must :)
I’m a 22 year old uni student who works 2 casual jobs, so my schedule is always different! I have a dog! His name is Bentley and he is a 1.5 year old boxer, so he is full of energy. Since having him he has been an inside dog, so I am hoping to find a place that won’t care about that. But I want a housemate who loves dogs as much as me, and won’t mind a crazy boxer running around. I like to be social and hang out with my friends, i enjoy going out on the weekend for some drinks, or staying in with some wine and Netflix. I have lived alone for 6 months so I definitely enjoy my alone time too. I don’t have a specific move out date, I’m moving home for a bit to save some money and until I find a new place to live :)
About me: I am employed fulltime Mon - Fri I am very neat & tidy (bordering on OCD ha ha) I am pretty quiet and like keep to myself. I am a very considerate housemate. What I am looking for: A room with my own bathroom. Ideally I like my own living space. I would like a room to be unfurnished and have access to a T.V aerial. Air Conditioning and/or ceiling fan would be great! I would like to find a housemate who is mindful of space and privacy. And I only want to share with one other person.
I'm a down to earth, easy-going 28 year old guy who wants to meet some new people. I currently work for the council, full-time in Morayfield. It's only a 2 month contract, therefore I'm only looking for a place for 2 months (unless my work contract gets extended). I would love to find housemates I can get along with and have a good laugh just as anyone does, but also enjoy the quiet times that I get to myself to just chill out. I'm looking in any suburb that's within the North Brisbane region. In my spare time I love to play games (video or board games, you name it) and sport (mainly volleyball).
Modern and massive house located in a quiet, family friendly street, very close to public transport, Coles, Westfield Chermside, and all kinds of takeaway places. The house has two separate living areas, a massive modern kitchen, a pool and a nice outside area, and a small front balcony, and with heaps of parking available on-street.
I was raised to be considerate of others and respect others' privacy. I'm introverted so do like my alone time but am happy to be social if you are as well. I like to laugh - I don't take myself too seriously! I clean up after myself and will ensure I contribute my share in maintaining the place. I work full time as a software developer 3-4 days in office and 1-2 from home. I like playing games, digital piano (with headphones!), keeping fit and learning new things. I'm a non-smoker and drink only socially on occasion. My main requirements looking for a place is sharing with one other male and that the place is fairly quiet, e.g. no trainline noise, etc.
Looking for a place to rent while on nursing/paramedicine placement. Currently live with my partner but he is moving back home to Tassie at the end of July so need a place untill I go back. Will be at placement most days and at my job in the chemist but love a hang out and chill when I have time off! Relaxed and easy to get along with but always up for a boogie!
This is such a homely feel apartment, it’s an older apartment but it has been renovated. It has city views from the balcony. It’s so close to the city, main bus station and tunnel ride to the airport. U can park on the premise if u have ur vehicle. The main living room has air on, but I have found I’ve never needed as it pretty cool in summer and warm in winter. If u enjoy cooking the kitchen its quite spacious with a gas stove top.
This is a great little homely ground floor apartment with a location close to everything you need. 2 bedrooms with 2 baths so you have your own bathroom. Kept clean and tidy. It is fully furnished including the bedroom - flexible if you have your own furniture too. Large outdoor area with grass and access to undercover parking. Street parking also available. Access code used to get into the apartment block so well secured. Air conditioning in main bed and living room all rooms with ceiling fans
Hi, looking for a place for me and my dog. I work full time. Im a positive, nice person who likes my alone time but also can be social. Considerate of other people. Will need a house with a yard. Happy to team up with someone to rent a house. No date as to when I actually have to move out but sooner the better.
My name is Maddy and I am searching for someone who wants to find a house together soon. I currently live in Chermside West and am hoping to stay in the same kind of area (North Brisbane anywhere). I am a nursing student at QUT and I work at Coles. I'm friendly and quiet. I'm very clean and like to put things away after use and I would like someone who is the same. I have a bit of furniture already like a fridge. I also have a small dog called Louie. Lou is a tibetan spaniel x chihuahua and is 5kg. He is very friendly and loves other dogs and cats too so if you have a little pet we could organise something. Also I like cute little house plants and have a few.
Quiet. Keep to myself. Outgoing. Easy to talk to. Very open and open minded. Do love meeting new people and making new friends. I’m very Clean. Don’t smoke. Occasionally drink the Bottle of wine here and there. Do have a cat but if I can’t find a place for him too he will move back up north. Have my own car. Easy to get along with and Respectful. Always pay my bills on time.
I am an easy going type of guy. Always up for an adventure or anything to get out of the house. I work full time and go to the gym most days, so I’m not at home a lot. Always up for a chat and a beer but not into partying.
Hey I'm 22, easy going guy, I have a full time job as a metal worker. I love my cars, bikes and jetski, but also like chilling out and watching movies. I'm tidy, respectful and always can give a helping hand. I am a non-smoker.
2 large outside entertaining areas, a massive kitchen, two lounge rooms and plenty of storage space. The room available is situated downstairs in the house, and separately from the other rooms, creating a more private space. The bedroom has high ceilings and a fan. Unfurnished. At the front of the house. Can enter straight into the bedroom without having to go through the house. The property is in a great location, walking distance to a Coles shopping centre (400 m) and also Gympie Rd for buses to the city/valley/Uni. The house is only a very short distance to the Airport Link and Clem 7 tunnel networks or as another alternative, the Kedron Brook parklands and bikeways are just at the end of the street. It is also approximately a 7-minute drive to Westfield Chermside, 8 minutes to the airport or 15 minutes to the CBD/valley. Lawn mowing and gardening are included in the rent. Electricity and Internet are shared by the tenants. This is non-smoking house.
