Large room with in built office available for rent in Kedron Queenslander. It is fully furnished with a queen bed, cabinets, desk, whiteboard and filing cabinets. $160/week rent with bills another $20/week including Wifi. 3 weeks bond required with 2 weeks rent in advance. It's a month to month lease with 3 weeks notice required if you need to leave. Room is available from now. I've had a great time living here because the house allows an environment that's social but you still get your privacy. The living room and kitchen has natural lights and is all well spaced and easy to share. There's a basic gym under the house and a pull up bar in the backyard. I'm keen to get someone over who will be fun to live with, respectful and clean. Currently, it’s myself, Sam and Abi living here. We are looking for a fourth. We are all in our 20s, work full time, social but enjoy our privacy and get along great! Come around and inspect!
I'm a very tidy bubbly outgoing gal. Part-time at University. I'm always happy to cook dinners and a sneaky wine. Big fan of dnms and respect solitary.
Great open plan 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. Internal laundry and balcony. central location about 5 minutes from Westfield Chermside and 20 minutes from the valley. Heaps of natural light and an awesome kitchen. Water and Electricity included in rent. Undercover visitor parking available plus plenty of street parking.
I've just finished an exercise physiology degree at uni, work in sports and remedial massage, and work a lot in footy. On weekends I’m usually at the beach, catching up with friends, or watching some type of sport. I’m easy going, happy, clean and friendly. I’m usually always up for a chat, but also love my downtime and chilling out! Feel free to send to me a message if it sounds like I’d fit into your home or if you have any other questions :)
I'm 25, very neat and tidy. I work mainly full time hours. I'm very outgoing so I would love to move in with someone who enjoys company but also enjoys their alone time! I have a big dog named Wally, he is very friendly and loves to cuddle, he is a mainly outside dog however I do let him inside every now and then. Preferably looking for 1 or 2 other people to move in with. Looking for someone neat and tidy, cleans up after themselves, social but enjoys their own space, easy going and doesn’t mind my dog!
Will be starting work in Burpengary. Very easy going, friendly and enjoy socializing/meeting new people. Enjoy being active - whether it's at the gym or playing sports.
Hey, 32 year old male who's studying full time and working part time. I'm pretty easy going, quiet but social. I consider myself a good housemate. I cook, clean and tidy up after myself and try respect everyones space.
Studying in final year at QUT 2020, looking for accommodation with other students. I am a nursing student who enjoys the outdoors, running and movies, is quiet, clean, easy to talk to, can keep to self and respect personal space but enjoys chatting, having a couple of drinks and socializing at home.
Hi, my name is Alannah. Im a 29yo female aussie and im looking to find a new home at the end of my lease in early march 2020. Im a great cook and im a gamer not a partier. You won't find me coming in at 3am, drunk after a night out. I enjoy having movie nights and hanging out with my housemates instead. I have a small dog and a cat who would be moving with me so im looking for somewhere pet friendly. I work full time as a vet tech so I can bring free veterinary advise to the table. Im hoping to find a place I can feel comfortable with my housemates, enjoy spending time with them and trust them to treat my pets as well as I do. My only request of my housemates is that they respect my wishes to keep my cat indoors and be mindful when opening doors and keeping doors shut. In that sense your listing would need to have screens on the doors and windows. Looking forward to hearing from you. :)
I'm a tidy person, organised and responsible. I like cooking, watching movies and have some drinks sometimes. Hope I can find a place that I can feeling like home! I have been living in Australia for 4 years, majority of the time in Brisbane. I forgot to say... I'm from Brazil!!!
Hi Potential New Housemate, My name is John, I'm a 24yrs old Dutch guy who's in Australia since May 2018. To give you an impression of my time in Australia I decided to devide my stay here into periods: - May 2018 - October 2018 The first five months of my stay I have traveled the whole continent by car, together with a friend of mine. After he went back to Amsterdam I decided to stay in Australia for a longer time. - October 2018 - May 2019 To make this possible I had to fulfill my 88 days of farmwork requirements, which I did in the Sunshine Coast. I lived together with the couple Tommy & Jon (40+) in The Glass House Mountains for seven months. A one week AirBnb-stay turned into a small gay household for more than seven months, the best period of my life! - May 2019 - November 2019 Back home in The Netherlands I have worked as an IKEA Sales man for 4 years, so it was an easy step to work for IKEA in Brisbane as well. As soon as my farmwork requirements were fulfilled and my Visa extension was approved I moved to Camp Hill, Brisbane. I've worked as a CheckOut coworker for 6 months at IKEA Logan. - November 2019 - Future At the moment I'm working as a Sales Coworker again at IKEA North Lakes. I'm living in the beautiful area of Lutwyche together with my housemate. Unfortunately the lease of our appartent will run out in January 2020, so I need to search for another place to live for the last 4,5 months of my stay in Australia. My contract at IKEA North Lakes is 40+ hours, what means that I'm away for work a lot. I have my own car as well, so that makes me fully independant. At the moment I've a 24hrs / fortnight contract as a Sales Co-Worker at IKEA Logan. Although this is not a full time contract, I am taking over a lot of shifts from my colleagues. So I will be away for work a lot. I have my own car as well, so fully independant during my stay in Australia. I'm aiming for a place to stay at the Northside of the river where I can stay till the end of my Visa period (May 2020). Are you the potential housemate who can offer that? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About myself: My spare time consist of a lot of social activities, because I like to catch up with people and learn from them. I'm not a party type at all, but am always in for a casual drink and a chat. That's also the reason that I don't want to live by myself. It's simply too boring. Unfortunately it's still a necessity to mention nowadays.... I'm gay. All my former housemates were very open minded and also accepted me to invite friends to come over for a casual drink and a sleepover every now and then. Please know that I'm someone with a 'professional'-mindset, what means that I am aware of my housemates, their privacy and happy to adjust myself where possible. It's common sense for me to take part in the house hold tasks. A clean and tidy environment is a must for me. Maybe a bit stereotypical, but that's why I rather live with professionals than with students. I'm very curious what you think about my background and my vision of life. Preferably I want to move in as soon as possible, but am open to dates a little bit further in the future. Wanna grab a coffee to discuss the possibilities? Would like to hear from you. Dutch greetings, Gr. John
Hey, I’m Rebekah (or Bek). I am a really friendly, chilled person - - I love dogs, plants, a comfy home (with cushions and blankets), good food and good vibes. I am a very organised and clean person, and am very conscious of my impact on the environment. I am looking to ‘teamup’ for a new sharehouse. I am currently living in an apartment by myself and I am sure you can understand, it is both expensive and lonely. Looking for 1-2 people who are down to earth, clean, non-smoking, are interested in living a green sustainable lifestyle (or at least in learning more about it) and are ready to have awesome housemate dinners, outings, board game/movie/wine and cheese/anything nights. Property-wise, I am looking for either an apartment or house that is either on the newer side or has been recently renovated, accessible, has parking, and preferably close distance to a train. Please let me know if you are interested!
