I am a clean person (not a cleaning freak or anything I just like the house to be neat and presentable). I like to have good conversations and what not, but I also enjoy some alone time. I am currently in Brisbane and I plan to move over to Melbourne by the end of Oct. What I'm looking for is an affordable furnished room for a short term stay.
My name is Dylan, I have lived in Melbourne my whole life. Im not really an outgoing person but i have a fun personality once you get to know me. Im currently studying Game Design which I finish end of this year and as such i enjoy video games. Im not much of a cook but i can cook if theres a need to or if people dont want to cook. I'm happy to move northern or western suburbs. Thank you.
We're clean, quiet, tidy, friendly.
I hope to find a place where the cost of bills, internet and rent total less than $250 a week. I'm not expecting to have to move till late October/November. I have lots of kitchen tools etc, a microwave and my own bedroom furniture which I want to keep, so no furnished room offers please. I do not wish to share a room with anyone either, sorry. I'm neat and prefer a clean house. Don't have a car, so would prefer to be close to a train stop. And I would like the use of a bath and washing machine. I'm very interested in crafts, and need space for both my study and this interest - promise not to spread myself around. I love to garden, bake, ride my bike and enjoy a glass of red from time to time. I am friendly, caring, respectful of others and their space and happy to make arrangements about food, chores etc. I love dogs, hate cats and won't stand reptiles. Happy to live with children. Next year is my last year of study for my P-12 teaching degree. I study at Vic Uni and can be at St Albans one day and Footscray the next. I also work full time in Melbourne's CBD. Happy to answer any questions.
A nice and sociable lady who has just moved to Melbourne. Although i can carry a conversation and am open to all topics, I am also observant and sensitive and will be able to identify if there is a need for time alone. In all honesty, even I would.love time to myself too but of course I am not anti-social in any way :) I do love fitness and eating healthy, but my weight and I seem to have this love-hate relationship *lol* I have a sweet tooth and do love to bake and do cook at times. And it would be nice to share a meal or have someone who has an equally sweet tooth too! I am not really a big meat eater and I dont drink or smoke so that means you can be rest assured that the house will still smell lovely after a long day at work/school. A self-confessed neat freak, well not that extreme, I keep the house clean and tidy and wouldn't mind doing household chores too. I will have family members visiting me one or twice a year and i do have friends who may also drop by for a meal and tea (more tea than coffee person) However, fret not as being mature and responsible, I wouldnt think of encroaching into my housemate's space and turning the house upside-down. I am not a party animal and on the contrary love peace, quiet and sounds which are pleasant to the ears (''p) I have yet to explore the city but am looking forward to do so. If you are someone like me and into good, clean and silly fun, we could start a beautiful friendship.
I am easy going and mind my own business, I am clean and respectful. I like to have a joke around and I do socialise but I also stay out off peoples way. I like to do my own thing aswell. I always clean up after myself and if I see a mess I wont just walk past it because its not mine I will make sure I pick it up and keep the house looking tidy.. I dont smoke and i hardly ever drink if I do it might be a couple on weekend watching the football. I work full time as a sign installer for myself. My business is called Precision Sign Installations. Im currently living with a friend who is selling there house and moving to the country and for work purposes I want to stay in these areas that are at least half hour to CBD..
Hi :) I am a friendly, positive, respectful individual looking to reside in the same environment and start a new chapter. Currently I am a Office Coordinator, but am looking to change careers and go back to study. I'm female, in my late 20s, love baking, animals, being creative and talking about whatever topics you like! I'm fun and serious in equal measure :) I clean up after myself and respect privacy.
Hi - I'm Glenn. I have a long history working in the helping type fields such as nursing and psychology with multiple undergraduate and post graduate degrees. I am very caring, empathic, considerate and have always been compassionate towards others, regardless of who they are or where they've been. I guess humility, acceptance and openness are some of my key values/traits and although my path is not the same as others, I love to hear about other people's past experiences and their hopes and visions for the future. More recently, I have been focusing on my music composing and looking at how I can use my skills to generate an additional income whilst doing something that I have always loved. Initially, I have created alliances with video game developers to provide background music, but I have always wanted the music I write to be more uplifting than to purely motivate people to slay the purple dragon and find the blessed magic brussel sprout (Clearly with that description, I don't play video games - but hey... that is a great idea for a game yeah??) I'm currently liaising with wedding planners and wedding celebrants to provide personalized music that couples can use as part of their wedding day. Songs that not only express how they feel about each other but promote this love and excitement in others. But, the desire to make people feel special goes much deeper than this. Last year, a friend was suicidal and in a very bad way. She had several admissions to hospital, and some very intense treatment. It was heartbreaking that she was unable to see just how beautiful and special she is and just how much she is love by those around her. I wrote her a song titled "We love you" which tried to remind her of that fact. (You are welcome to listen to it). So, I feel passionate about reminding people when they just cant see it - through music - just how important they really are - I hope I can do that more. I'd love to set up some kind of not for profit organisation where I can write individual, personalized music for people purely to help remind them that they are important. I'm leaning towards the name 'Every Note' because when it comes to music, each note works together to create an overall piece of musical truth and beauty. I think that is just as applicable to people. Every person is inherently important and an integral part of the world. Plus, I think music in its various forms, is so influential on people individually, yet at the same time joins our collective souls. I also LOVE animals - and I have two adorable cats. You don't have to love them - but I could never live with a cat hater. I am their carer, protector, food giver (most importantly) - and they rely on me. Having them is a gift and I don't take that lightly. I need somewhere that they would feel comfortable. I also enjoy doing woodwork as a hobby - although I'm pretty bloody useless at it - but it doesn't seem to have lessened my enthusiasm for some reason. Not sure why that is. I pretty much get on with anyone and seem to be able to find something to talk about. I make a point of making people feel comfortable and welcome without being over the top. I'm probably more mature now and settled and stuff and enjoy more quieter times - but I still tend to get excited over someone saying "Hey.... why don't we....." which usually results in a "*#@^ yeah! That is brilliant" I'm very respectful, considerate, empathic and compassionate, and a great listener. But, I'm also sensitive to other people's needs and respect my own and others personal space. Oh and I also make a point of trying to do volunteer work where I can - that has previously included cleaning out, washing dog yards at the RSPCA, being a welcomer/cuppa person for people attending the Salvation Army who are experiencing difficult times, to try and make them feel at ease, Hon secretary for community support group and I am currently volunteering as Treasurer for a not for profit, community support group. As a bonus I also come with an unlimited supply of lame jokes and am the person to have on your trivia team if the subject "Hits of the 80's"ever comes up. Probably crapped on enough. Cheers Glenn
I'm 19 yrs old originally from South Australia and am wanting to move over to Melbourne to start fresh, start studying full time at the start of next year and I'd like to find myself a part-time job once I'm back there. I'm a quiet person and can be really shy at first, but when i feel comfortable i'm really good to get along with
I am Clean and very respectful person. I Work hard and when I finish work I like to come home and just relax, I stick to myself so you wont even notice me around, in saying that I do socialise and like to have the occasional drink.
We are outgoing, fun to be around . We're very respectable, and respect other people's privacy. We're easy to get along with ,and can also ensure that the place is always clean

IMPORTANT INFORMATION READ FIRST We have very strict (but fair) rental rules and conditions. If you are the type of person that loves to have friends over, play loud music and stay up talking with friends until late, please look elsewhere as this property will NOT suit you at all. It’s quite simple; we are looking for a tenant that is quiet, responsible, considerate and respectful, If this is you, we are happy to hear from you. Anyhow, about the property.... The Studio is separated from the main house, it has its own private door, which means that you will have total privacy at all times. Think about that - you are not required to enter the main house in order to get to your Studio, as there is no access from main house to your Studio! That's the ultimate privacy! Studio Layout: The studio has a separate lockable En-suite with modern shower, toilet, hand-wash basin, and a large mirror. Kitchenette Area: In the kitchenette area, you have a full-size Kitchen sink, Electric Hotplate, Electric grill, a Microwave, Toaster, Pots and Pans, Cutlery, and Cupboard storage. Middle Section: In the middle section of the studio there is a full-size Refrigerator, a small Computer Desk, and a small Dining Table. Bed Section: In the left side of the room there is a nice comfortable Double Bed, a Wardrobe, a Tallboy Drawer and a Plasma TV with DVD Player. RENT: Rent is $290 per week and that includes ALL Bills; Water, Electricity, Gas (Hot Water) and Cable Internet Connection. The Studio is fully furnished so you don’t need to buy any furniture. If you are looking at renting in Keilor, the average rent is between $420 - $490 per week (and of course, that’s no furnishings or Bills included). If you have some doubts, don’t take our word, simply contact “Daniel Keilor Real Estate” or “Brad Teal Keilor Real Estate” and ask yourself, or search their websites online. For your convenience, we created a YouTube video so that you can get a better idea of the studio's layout. Interested people can message us via Flatmates and we will send you details of video address. (Flatmates does not allow external links to be included in listings).
Hi I am Aroha. I am 34. I am looking for a room with great, easy going people. Would prefer a place with no cats. I'm fine with dogs. I am a shift worker (I realise this can be a deal breaker for some). I am very tidy and love to chill out and have a beer and a chat :-)
**Please read before messaging me - Need two rooms as I am a single mother with a 7 year old son name Liam. Currently looking for a safe environment and place for me and my son to call home. Have separated recently and our current lease at the moment ends early next year. Preferably looking for a female to share with or even better with a couple with kids or a single parent. I am 30 years old and work full time in the city, so looking for a place not too far from the CBD will be preferred. I do have a beautiful Kelpie X absolutely adorable with kids, people and other animals and also well behaved. You will find me very easy going and easy to get along with. Do enjoy a good chat from time to time, I have a lot of respect for others and their privacy as well. I do enjoy cooking and I am also a tidy and clean person. If you are wanting to know more about me please do drop me a message and I would be happy to have a chat to discuss more :)
