Hi, I'm a design student at QUT and am a part-time swimming teacher. I am a happy, friendly and easy-going person. I enjoy living with people that I can form friendships and socialise with. Something I like to do for fun is to go on surfing trips with friends - which you would be more than welcome to join. I am originally from Adelaide - so people always assume I'm South African because of my accent... Would love to live with people who are likeminded and don't mind having a beer and a laugh.
Stunning master suite bedroom for rent in a HUGE Kelvin Grove home, based in the northern inner city of Brisbane from 27/09/19. MASSIVE ensuite, spa bath, walk-in robe, and car park space available. The house is furnished with my things, however, I will be selling most of them, so you will have plenty of room to bring your things. I am open to selling my bedroom, tallboy and side tables altogether for $300 so you don't need to move furniture. You'll be sharing with 3 young professional women, ages 20 - 22, we are all hard-working and busy women but love to be friends, open and chatty. VERY FRIENDLY girls, and will end up being you sisters. The home has 2 large lounge areas (one is used as a study), plus dining room. The house has lots of room so you never feel like you're stepping on toes if you need space. The City is just 10 minutes away, QUT, bus stops, shops, cafes and parks literally at your doorstep. Rent is $230 per week Bond is 4 weeks and 2 weeks of rent paid in advance prior to moving in. Girls only please.
hey, looking for a housemate to share an apartment with me. I can bring all my furniture. I’m working as a civil engineer in the valley and like to keep outdoors. I also have Netflix that i would totally share with my housemate :)
The house has a massive garden which is great for summer time, having friends over for drinks or BBQ's. Or even just to sit and relax with a book. The house also has a great front area, with wooden seats, cushions and fairy lights which is also great for having friends round. The house is nice and open, with big windows in the kitchen that swing out and a large window in the bedroom, which gives great lighting to the house and the bedroom. I found sitting and having breakfast at the kitchen table very relaxing whilst looking into the garden. The house has the bathroom/shower separate to the toilet which is very handy. With only 3 people in the house this works perfectly and you never have to wait for the bathroom/toilet. There is bus stop on either end of the road, which has regular bus services going to the city, University and Hospital. The bus to the city is 8-10 mins and is very accessible. You can walk to the University and Kelvin Grove main street, where there is a Woolworths, restaurants, pharmacy and other places in 10 mins. There is also a bottle shop just at the top of the road and going the other direction there is an Aldi which is also a 10 min walk. The location is perfect. This house is perfect for students studying at the University or backpackers or anyone working in and around the city looking for a great priced house share very close to the city. The bills are not included in the rent, however I put away around 15-20 dollars a week and that covers electricity, water and internet. Lastly the room is unfurnished, although the clothes rack, shelf above bed and the mirror I am happy to leave at no extra cost. Thank you :)
I'm a new grad student. I'm currently looking for a job and will move with the job where ever it is so I'm looking for a short-term place (around 1 month or less). I'm a friendly and quiet person who loves to cook. I might be a little random but not all the time.
I'm 23 and recently moved to Brisbane from Tasmania. I study part time as an external student and work full time in the city. I don't know many people here and would love to make new friends. I'd love to be able to hang out with flatmates but also have time to myself, so having people around my age would be great.
I’m Jahan, hoping to study a double degree in bachelor of engineering and mathematics commencing Feb 2020. I’m athletic, play tennis and cycle, I’m an avid pianist and composer. I enjoy having a chat but also respectful of other peoples space, I’m neat and tidy and will contribute to house hold chores. Look forward to hearing from you, Cheers, Jahan
