About me: I'm a youngish professional, working full time.
I have lived in Summer Hill, Dulwich Hill and other parts of the Inner West, in sharehouses since leaving school.
I had moved to Newcastle for 2 years, but have recently found a new role in Sydney, in the city. Am looking to rent a room in Summer Hill, Dulwich Hill, Marrickville, Earlwood or somewhere else in the Inner West, so I can stay there, during the week. I often still go back to Newcastle to see extended family on the weekend.
Outside of work, I also teach English as one of my hobbies and write poetry and sometimes dabble in art. I'm fairly friendly, low-key and creative. I'm considerate and very quiet to live with, as I have lived in share houses for a number of years.
I also have a passion for travel. I just got back from a short trip to Japan. I head to Europe and the US shortly and go to Peru and Mexico at the end of the year.
I'm looking for either a short or long rerm room with my preference being long term.
You: In your late 20's, 30's or early 40's, working either full time or working part-time; studying full-time, friendly and considerate.
House-Vibe: I am ideally looking for somewhere that is not just a house but also a home. I usually spend part of the week in Newcastle so will usually just be here say 4 days a week for work, though sometimes a little more. I'm usually pretty busy during the week with work, but still down for the odd shared dinner or quick chat or a cheeky beer or glass of wine.
Previous places were where we all led fairly busy lives and needed our own space sometimes or to hibernate in our rooms at times to knock out this or that for uni, but when we did have free time sometimes we had the odd shared dinner or shared the odd glass of wine and hung out. Issues came up from time to time but we just politely raised them, sorted them and moved forward. I am looking to be a part a similar vibe in my current place.
