I recently moved to Sydney from Brisbane on the 15th of February. I graduated from uni with a double bachelors degree in marketing and creative industries in December. I now work in luxury retail full time doing 38hours a week = 5 days a week shift work. I’m extremely clean and tidy. I’m very friendly and always up for a chat but also love my own space.
Recently renovated, huge built in wardrobe, Netflix, balcony, Close to restaurants, bars and not too far from Coogee beach (30 minute walk or 6 minute drive), 10 minute walk to the Spot Randwick, close to Randwick Hospital, right near UNSW, 600 metres Anzac Prd for direct buses into the city, Nice quiet area out of the hustle and bustle but still a close and easy location to get to! Street parking is free between 6:00 PM and 8:00 am so if you work a normal 9-5 job this is perfect for you if not a permit is no more than $50 a year (i think).
I am looking for a spot to park my campervan where I can pay rent to use the living spaces. Depending on the place, I would pay up to $200 per week. However, am aiming for something around $130 per week. I have lived in Sydney for 1 year and have been treating my campervan as my room for this time, while sharing a 1 bedroom flat with a lovely gent and his dog. However, it's time for a change. I'm looking for a good fit. And if the right place comes up, i'd be able to move pretty much immediately. Oh the joys of #vanlife. I'm not as much of a hippy as I seem. I have a full-time job in advertising. I have rent history and references and can pay bond if need be. I’m 25, and travelled across Aus from Perth to move to Sydney. I spend my free time rock climbing, doing ballet, and painting. On weekends I try to get outdoors hiking and camping. I'm a friendly and easy going housemate. I don't cook much. Happy to hang out and chat over a beer. Also happy to do my own thing. More than happy to help keep the house clean. Send me a message if you'd like some extra dollars towards the rent!

Originally from Melb, I moved up to Canberra over 2 years ago and have now moved to Sydney for a job in public health research. Looking for a homely vibe. Somewhere I can come back from work, cook dinner and watch my latest Netflix obsession or debrief about my first world problems with my housemate(s). When I'm not out catching up with friends, I like having a couple of mates over for movie nights or dinner occasionally. I am pretty chill. My room will probably be a bit untidy but I'm all about those shared spaces staying clean (especially kitchens and bathrooms). Looking for a considerate household, where I happily have your back if you forget to wash a dish and vice versa. Interests include: Anything vaguely public health or social justice-related Reading (currently reading Sapiens and before that Difficult women by Roxane Gay) Films (I'm quite into those independent films that make you feel but also did recently watch Spice World and was thoroughly entertained) Music (I have just come back from the great festival that is Golden Plains) Currently trying to get back into swimming and dancing and just be more active. Have left a solid crew behind in Canberra but looking forward to seeing what Sydney has to offer!
Rent includes all bills, wifi, house supplies and fortnightly cleaner. Large bedroom in a shared house with 4 other university/recent grads. The house is located in a quiet street with a few students and families. Perfect for anyone going to UNSW or wants to live near the beach. The house also has a dining room, and a lounge room (with a TV and Optus TV), and a mango tree! Close to many areas around Kingsford - 15 minute walk to UNSW. - 10 minute walk to Anzac Parade + Bus stop - If commitment is your thing, Light rail to be put in by 2019. - 2 minute walk to oval (great for running laps, has a playground too)
I'm a PhD candidate at UNSW, currently in Switzerland but will need a room as soon as I get back to Sydney on 23 March. I can guarantee 3 months stay but not sure for longer terms as I will graduate in June. I normally like outdoors but would prefer a clean and quiet place at home.
