There is a direct bus to the city which departs from across the road (423) and Kingsgrove train station is approx. 12 mins walk. There is a Coles Express (open until 11pm) two blocks from our house and a large Woolworths (open until midnight) and general shopping area at the Kingsgrove station and we a short distance from Roselands shopping village (which has a Myer, Target, Coles etc.). There is a 24 hour gym less than 10 mins walk from our house and a new Bunnings a few blocks away. The room is $260/week for a single, or $310/week for a couple. It is much cheaper not to live in the city. There is enough public transport to get in and out easily. From Lakemba Railway Station to the City 36 minutes, up to 43 minutes From Kingsgrove Railway Station to the City 32 minutes to 36 minutes 14 Km in a straight line to the city centre. Slightly longer by train. It can take 20 minutes to drive â€“ but not in peak hours. My place is 1.4km from either railway station â€“ Lakemba or Kingsgrove.
