We are Tha 24-year-old and Gig 22-year-old. We both have lovely smiles and big laughs. We're looking for a place that's close to our English school at Auburn Road, Hawthorn. For our details, I sometimes exercise (running and dancing) and cook some healthy foods. I often study in my room, but Gig usually goes out and works almost every night. We always keep our area tidy and clean. We’re respectful of others space and privacy. It would be great if we sometimes can go out for dinner or shopping at the supermarket together. Best of all is that we love pets!!
Hey! I'm Kurt, I'm currently in Shepparton trying to move to Melbourne to study a Cert 4 in patisserie at William Angliss so cooking isn't a worry 🙂. I'm currently working Part-time at Woolworths and aiming to get a transfer so I have a solid income source. My boyfriend who will be living with me is named Will, he will also be studying but a Bachelor of science at Deakin university. We both love to cook, game and have hella good times with hella good people
Relatively clean and quiet single looking for a place closer to work (in Camberwell). I work full time and my passion is drinking red wine and watching terrible reality TV.
Hi there! I'm a 29-year-old professional wrapping up my PhD and moving to Melbourne from Adelaide for new full-time permanent position on St. Kilda road. I'm currently looking for a sunny bright room with enough space for a double bed, desk and chair, preferably furnished and preferably with an ensuite, nearby St. Kilda road or close to public transport. I'd also prefer bills to be included in the rent. I'm tidy, hardworking and determined but also friendly and easy going. I've grown up and lived in five countries and I enjoy exploring new places and experiences. I enjoy jogging, swimming, camping, soccer and cycling. I also love cats. While I'll be focused on a new job, that won't stop me from being a social flatmate who is keen to chill out and relax. Always respectful of space and privacy, clean and willing to help out and listen when it's required. I enjoy having a place with the right atmosphere where we eagerly look forward to coming back to at the end of a long day Looking forward to meeting you and checking out the place! :)
Hi there, My name is Ashley, I'm a 28 year old female who is looking for a place to share with 1 to 2 other females (not interested in living with males, no offence guys :P) I am looking for a large bedroom and two bathrooms in the house if sharing with two others. I work as a counsellor and study Masters of Psychology part-time. I am a friendly and easygoing person looking for a relaxed household. I enjoy film, music, podcasts and going out with friends.
I'm clean, quiet and classy. I like cooking big dinners and spending my days off rugged up in bed with the internet or doing some arty farty stuff. Im really laid back and respect privacy. I definitely lean more towards being introverted. I love movies, games and reading. I'm also looking for a place that's close to a train station. Drop me a message if you have a good room with lots of light!
Hey I'm Dom! Grew up in France but now living permanently down under. Currently working for vicpol and switching stations into the city. On a day off, brunch and coffee places for good chats with friends is my go to thing. Always up for a game of any sports and am always keeping up to date with my favorite TV series (in desperate need of a GoT fix!). On a work day I'm usually either sleeping or acclimating to my shift schedule and keeping to myself, still up for a chat nevertheless! I'm currently looking for a semi spacious room with desk space and ideally an en suite bathroom but can forgo it if housemates are clean :). That said I am tidy and clean and hoping my fellow future housemates are considerate in that regard too! Big no no's: Student accommodation, drugs, criminal records. Look forward to hearing from you !
Hey I'm Jonny, 25 years old from Nee Zealand and working full time in retail. I'm a pretty relaxed guy, always up for a chat and a few drinks on my days off but I also work long hours so may not be around that much.
Hi everyone, I am moving to the city from the outer south east for work. I am looking to move sometime around Jan-Feb. Hoping to find somewhere I can call home for the long term. I work in consulting full time and will be fairly quiet during the week. I am easy going and stay clean and tidy. I am a foodie and in my free time would love exploring Melbourne and also enjoy cooking.
I'm Nitha 24-year-old and my friend Gig 21-year-old.
Chill and easy going, like to keep things (mostly) tidy. Don't mind keeping to myself or socialising, love a few drinks on the weekends, not looking for a party house. Here in Melbourne to study economics at RMIT, but also working casually (25hrs) in the city during the week. Able to bring some of my own furnishings. Prefer a longer term stay (~1 year +).
Hello my name is Marlon. I’ve recently moved back in with my parents whilst looking for a house to move into. I don’t want to rush moving into a brand new place just for the sake of it. I do however, want my own bedroom as I’m crashing on the couch atm! I work full time in the city, in the printing industry. I’m into my gaming(ps4), exercise, cooking, hikes, bike riding, reading and I’m usually pretty flexible with my weekend activities. I’d like to think I’m clean, organised and friendly. I don’t mind the occasional beer or wine on the weekdays over dinner. I’m open to meeting over coffee or beer with potential future house mates. Ideally I’d like to move in sometime after the 17th of Nov and stay around mid to late Jan. I am flexiable with the dates. I’m flexible with the suburb so long as it’s easy to get into the City. If you think I’d be a good addition please don’t hesitate to contact me. :)
*Please note before you get in touch - I am not available to move until the end of December. I'm starting my search early because it's important to me to find the perfect fit :) I'm Grace, I'm 26 and I'm moving back to Melbourne after two years in freezing cold Britain and a short 6 month stint in Malaysian Borneo. I am an eternal procrastinator so I'm still studying my undergrad at this ripe old age - but I am experienced enough to know the taste of a regular salary so I work quite a bit too. A little about me: I'm a total bookworm, bordering on nerd. I'm on to my second major now and I actually love going to uni (most of the time). In saying that, I love to head out for a drink, and am always looking for new adventures. If you're looking for someone to accompany you on a pilgrimage to eat boiled sheep's head in Iceland - I'm your girl. What I'm looking for in a Roomie: People who don't take life too seriously! People who are looking for a new friend in their life not just a person to share the rent. I love a home where the lounge-room is where everyone gathers, the kitchen is well used and the bathroom doesn't have little beard hairs all over the sink cos Bob was late for work this morning. I am (sadly) too old now for a 24 hour party pad, but say hi to 20 year old me while you're there! The usual suspects: Of course I feel I should mention that I have lived in share houses for several years, and so understand the importance of pulling my weight around the house, paying bills on time, respecting the privacy of my housemates and the other standard lines you see in these ads. I expect my new housemates to have the same values. Get in touch if we sound like room-soul-mates. :)
I’m Singaporean, born and raised in Singapore. I’m in my late 20s. Generally a private person, but enjoy company from time to time too. I’m going to be on my Work and Holiday visa and will need to find an accommodation in Melbourne for 3 months while I teach at a university there. I’m neat and tidy, and love a clean place to come back to. I’m not much of a cook, but good enough for a square meal.
Heya! My name’s Lauren, I’m an arts school graduate from Brisbane who moved to Melbourne a year and a half ago. I I’m 22 and an aspiring actress, but pay the bills by working casually for the local council in their offices. I enjoy taking care of my plants, roasting my own granola, and browsing niche kitchen items on ebay (got my eye on a good looking veggie spiralizer at the moment). I'm easy going, clean, and enjoy hanging out with my flat mates but know when to give people their space! I'm keen to make a house a home with the right people.
I am a Canadian uni student coming to Melbourne for an exchange trimester at Deakin. I'm easy going and love meeting new people! I am clean and respectful. I have lived abroad in Spain and Italy with host families. I enjoy yoga, the beach, trying out new foods, and going to see live music. I love both nights out and nights in spent watching Netflix. :)

Pets considered as its an animal loving house, but please note we do not have a backyard but there is a grassy courtyard downstairs. It's a bright and airy unit, with a spacious bathroom and kitchen, comfy couches and a washer and dryer. We have colourful decor, and its the perfect place to crash or call home if you are down for a holiday or visiting family/ friends over this period at all! Camberwell Junction is a 20 minute walk, or you can hop on the 72 just up the street along Burke Rd. You can also walk to Tooronga Station in 20 minutes, be at Camberwell Station or the numbers 70 and 75 trams in no time! We also have a bus somewhere on Tooronga Rd. Anderson Rd, our street, runs between Burke Rd and Tooronga Rd and is about two blocks back from Toorak Rd. There is also a Coles shopping centre within a 10 minute walk.

Huge, beautiful and well-maintained Anderson Park is across the road with tennis, basketball, football, cricket, BBQ facilities and amazing views of the city skyline and sunset. 5 minute walk to Burke road tram stop (72 tram), 20 minute walk to Tooronga and Gardiner stations (Glen Waverley line) and 25 minute walk to Camberwell station or 10 minutes' walk + tram (Alamein, Lilydale, Belgrave lines) -- all of these train stations are 15 minutes' ride from the CBD. There is one secure, covered car space, intercom entry to building, 3 other units in building, up one flight of stairs, set far away from the street, in a safe, leafy area with lots of young families and cute dogs. We only have allowance for 2 street parking permits and both are used by my housemates so the off-street car park is the best available option. Bedroom and lounge are furnished differently to the pictures for privacy reasons... That’s how the house looked when it was on the market. Our decor is much more colourful and delightful :) Looking for a responsible, mature, clean and tidy housemate who doesn't want a party house but is open for a communal dinner or a few wines every now and then :)
21 year old student at University of Melbourne. Social and outgoing, working mostly nights in hospitality. Interested in music, sports (footy and NBA), and travel.
Hi there, I just moved to Melbourne for work and I am looking for a nice furnished room for myself. I am working full-time in finance and would appreciate sharing an apartment/house with full-time professional(-s) as well. Apart from work, I enjoy bush walking, swimming, staying active and hanging out with friends.
Hi all, I moved down to Melbourne from Queensland at the start of last year to start work as a physiotherapist. I love what Melbourne has to offer so would prefer to be closer to the city. I've lived in share houses for a few years and have been lucky enough to share with some pretty great people. Happy sharing responsibilities but am a terrible cook.. I'm always up for adventures and exploring and ideally would like a place that feels like home, so would love to find someone social to move in with that could become a friend rather than just housemates. I also have a car so I would be looking for somewhere that at least had on-street parking. If anyone is looking to team up I'd be super keen as well. Preferably in a 3 bedroom place to split costs more but open to anything. Ideally looking to move January.
I’m a graphic designer and artist to,from Chile. I spend my free time painting watercolor and I would love to find a place where I can feel comfortable doing it. I work full time during the week in hospitality. I’m very caring and always up for a good chat and laugh at any time. I’m very tidy and clean and I always think of the people around. It’s important to me to be in a place where I can feel home.
I'm a 27 year old Mechanical Engineer. I have just returned back to Australia as I was working in Germany for the last 2 years and also travelled as much as I could during this period. For the past 3 years I have been living in sharehouses and really enjoyed the company. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, keeping fit, playing social sports and being outdoors. I'm easy to get along with and like to keep everything tidy.
Hey! I’m Caity and I’m moving to Melbourne end of January! I’m looking for 6 months with potential to stay indefinitely if I like it. I’m a pretty flexible housemate and tend to match my style to the people I live with. I keep communal areas clean & tidy but am not going to nag you if you leave the dishes for a day or two. I’m a bit of a workaholic but enjoy my downtime over a glass of wine, baking, going to the beach/for a hike, or spending my days off watching Netflix. And I’m always down for a night out! I am after my own (unfurnished) room, preferably in a furnished house. I’d prefer my own bathroom but happy to share. I also bake cupcakes and cookies and you are more than welcome to help me eat them! (:
Hey there! I'm Chris. 30 year old kiwi, been living in Melbourne for 2 years now. I work 9-5 in St Kilda as an Area Sales/Account Manager. Being a kiwi, I'm pretty laid back and drama free, tidy, respectful of others and their space.. Standard stuff really after flatting/house sharing for 10 years! Looking for a new place to call home, happy to sign on a lease. I own all bedroom furniture etc so looking for an unfurnished room :) Looking for like minded people to live with, maybe share a meal or beer with too heading into summer! Weekends are a mix of sport (watching) exploring Victoria, gym, socialising, netflix and sleep! Pretty flexible weeknight schedule, hit me up and we can make a visiting time work for me to drive to ya! Cheers
Originally from the great ocean road, I've been living in Melbourne for 3 years now. Part- time radiography student, part-time hotel receptionist. Non-smoker, no pets but so open to a household that already has some furry occupants! Relatively quiet during the week, enjoy my own time and space but want to find a house that feels like a home with people who are open to spending time together and sharing meals once in a while. I am definitely a very social person so would like housemates who are interested in being friends rather than just living together! Would prefer to be in a 3 bedroom sharehouse or larger. Will need a place that can offer parking (happy to get a permit if necessary).
Here to visit our daughter who is graduating in December and we will be in Australia from 7 Dec to 14 Jan. We are an elderly quiet couple and won't be in the house most of the time as we are touring Australia.
I'm friendly and an extremely respectful person and resonate that your home is your castle. I also know that everyone needs their down-time (chilling out) and get people need their space. in saying that, should you wish to, I'm also always up for chat & a good convo, sharing a meal and binging on trashy tv when the times right too. I'm quite a positive person, an Avid yogi, animal lover, sun chaser and like to have good vibes and get along with people. I'm a personal assistant and studying Financial trading and investing. I'm super easy to get on with, open minded and just pretty chill in general. I'm a HUGE fan of cleaning (is that weird?) and things being tidy but my down side is i probably need to spruce up on my cooking abilities- I'm not going to lie they are far from good!! I'm a QLD girl, born & raised and looking forward to familiarising myself with Melbourne & all the wonderful things she has to offer (including the cold).... feel free to ask me any questions. Look forward to speaking with you :) Cheers T PS - I'm quite flexi on the move in date should I find the right pad

Looking for min 6 months with the possibility of extension Bit about me: Busy IT professional working full time and working on a couple of personal side projects - Laid back and easy going - Definitely not a party animal. Not much of a drinker and don't smoke, but don't mind drinkers - Love movies, short courses, cycling, trying to exercise more - Landmark Forum graduate :-) Calm and level headed - Travelled overseas and lived with diverse group of people - Born and grew up in the lucky country - Prefer room for a bicycle (indoors in a bike cage or garage or bedroom) Quiet but social, easygoing, laid back. Not really looking for anything specific, just people I can get along with and have a chat with every now and then. Would be great if they're into cycling or movies. A movie/tv fan. No specific requirements with food. Prefer to organise my own, but more than happy to share food every now and then. Would prefer 2+ flatmates, but not a deal breaker! Can do 6 or 12 months
I’m a private person but enjoy having company nonetheless. I’d like my house to be calm and clean, so when I want to have fun I’ll go out!
We are both here on working holiday visas. I am from Canada and Julia is from America. I am currently searching for work and Julia is a Teacher! We are both super chill and down for both drinks and movie nights. We are very respectful of privacy and know that everyone needs some alone time every once in a while.
