(Looks up from washing dishes) Hello there! My name is Brian. I'm about to start a new job as a graduate engineer in the city. I'm looking for a place to live, and nice people to live with. I really enjoy being in a friendly and social house, and I would like to have fun with my housemates, but without stepping on their toes. I always leave communal areas how I would like to find them. I am a responsible and reliable person, so sorting out rent and bills is never a problem. I'm at work during the day, but I'm usually at home in the evenings. My hobbies include playing card and board games, riding my bike, reading, listening and playing music (I sing and play piano). I also like to cook. I like cooking for others and with others - it's always lots of fun. I'm originally from Ballarat. I've been living in share houses in Melbourne for the past 5 years. I’m currently living a friend’s place, and I don’t have a fixed move date. I’m hoping to find somewhere close to the city and near a train station. I'm keen to meet new people. Send me a message :) Thanks, Brian
Hi, my name is Haitian, and you can call me Ivan. I'm 25 years old. I have graduated from Unimelb last year, and am currently working full time in an IT company. I'm looking for a house to stay from now on (time negotiable). During weekdays, I will be working in CBD in the regular 9-5 pattern. When come back home from work, I would enjoy having a chat with roommates over any topic and then cook dinner and do some study. It will be awesome if you would also like cook meal together from time to time, and that will be fun :p Over the weekend, I will do some grocery shopping, or hang out with my friend. Also on Sunday, I will attend a course in CBD for a whole day. To me, a good roommate will be a person who is friendly, considerate of others and keep shared space tidy. I'm a tidy guy, so I can ensure that I can keep the house in good state, and I'm punctual, will pay my rent on time.
Hey, I'm Cathy! Just another Perth girl here who has moved over to Melbourne. I've been here for almost 2yrs now and I'm looking for a new home to settle into. I work full time in HR. I'm pretty relaxed and love a good laugh, I'm also pretty clean without being obsessive. When I'm not working I'll usually spend my time binge watching some Netflix show that I have either never watched or have watched a thousand times. You'll also find me baking or in the kitchen attempting some recipe I googled...though when I'm lazy, Ubereats come at me! You'll usually find me on weekends exploring, whether it be checking out a local market, brunching at a cafe or going for a hike somewhere. I'm looking for a place that I can call home.
Very social guy, neat and tidy, happy to hang out but also to keep up some personal space, currently studying my undergrad in nursing and working in aged care. I'm looking for a place to live preferably near public transport and hopefully with a room large enough to fit a desk, and also queer friendly, more than happy to pull my weight around the house and also to lend a helping hand when possible!
Hey I’m Breni and I am looking for a private room furnished or unfurnished to share with a 25-50yo to share in an existing home or find a place together for up to 12 months.I have just relocated from Denmark 🇩🇰 to Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 I love sports, travel and going out to cafes and to farmers markets. I am a non smoker and non drinker and live a clean and healthy lifestyle. I like to keep common areas clean and tidy and would like to share with someone that I could be mates with. If you have a garden,I would be handy to have around for the maintenance and gardening. I look forward in speaking with you shortly. Cheers 😊
I am currently working as an HR Project Coordinator at an University. A dedicated Liverpool FC supporter so all things football and other other sports along with the usual catching up with a few friends, films and TV shows take up my down time. I'm quite laid back and chill doing my own thing but also sociable so always up for a chat over drinks or a meal.
Hello potential future housemate/s I'm Lisa (29) I work as a Florist and Craig (29) is currently working part time at BWS and is doing a full time pre-apprenticeship to be an Electrician. We’re both currently living in short term house in Hawthorn (as we’ve not long returned from a working holiday throughout Canada, US and UK.) We’re both clean, quiet and we’re friendly. We’re both non smokers and not big drinkers. After our travels we’re pretty keen to get back onto focusing on our careers, we're both currently studying/working. It's likely we'll be in and out of the house quite a bit. We're both social, like dining out, seeing friends and family on weekends and being active in our free time. We're both really easy going, our perfect idea of a living situation is one where we can relax with a cup of tea and a book without imposing on anyone but at the same time feel comfortable with whoever's around. We have lived in share houses in Australia as well as overseas and always paid rent/bills on time, we can provide references if needed. Craig likes exercising, trying to be vegetarian (succeeds 95% of the time), Joe Rogan podcasts, reading and patting strange dogs in the street. I (Lisa) love cooking, doing various arts and crafts, I love cleaning; find it therapeutic (yes I'm a freak, I know) being a florist it's likely I'll regularly put out a nice vase on display and I’m a BIG house plant lover.
Hi. This is Prateek from India. I will be pursuing Masters degree from RMIT Uni and will be here for the next two years. I am looking for a room / room to share in and around CBD preferably with all costs included in the rent. I am super clean and have shared a flat with others before and I understand how things roll. I can cook spicy Indian recipes which we can tweak to your liking if you like to share food/ cook together. Anyone with a valid occupation is okay. Your privacy will be respected but you will be listened to when you want to speak or need some help. That's what sharing a room is all about other than saving money. It is to understand each other, become friends, take care, become better and make some lasting memories.
Hey, My name is Jhanna (Janet in the office) and I work full time at an IT company as a consultant in the city. I've just started my career and use to work in hospitality. I'm a big fan or my activities like rock climbing, cycling, swimming, festivals, art and crafts, and the list goes on! I'm an early riser (but quiet about it I promise). I've always lived down the beach side but keen for a change. Looking for some fun housemates to share the experience!
Hi future flatmates! I've lived in Melbourne for over a year after moving from Adelaide and currently work in property research with standard 9-5 hours. I have previously lived with 2 other housemates (25 and 29 yo) over an 18 month period. I like to eat out/cook, watch movies and comedy shows in the city, go to the gym, and hang out with friends. Occasionally I'll make the trip home or overseas/interstate for work or a change of scenery. I'm looking for a flatmate(s) who likes to have a few laughs, go out for a beer or two, keep the place relatively clean, and are just overall nice people to be around.
