Adaptive. I fit the house rather than the house fits me. I've lived in many situations, with many types of people. Just back to Melbourne after living in Beijing and Manila.
I am Alicia, 21 yo and from Germany. I am looking for an apartment from September till mid / end of October. I am an easy going girl who prefers to drink some beers with friend instead of clubbing. I like to play tennis and badminton, but just for fun I'm not good in that :D. I love baking and cooking. I am working as a babysitter in hawthorn Tuesday - Friday 7:30-2:30pm. Sometimes mondays as well. I hope you're interested even if I will stay for only one/ one and a half month. Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers Alicia
Hey I'm Jess and I'm 21! I'm after a new place to live by the end of this month. Originally from Indonesia + Queensland, I moved to Melbourne 3.5 years ago. I also have a cat! His name is Puffin, he's a handsome chap (wears a tuxedo 😉) and he's two. He's a cheeky boy but super friendly and non-destructive (still in training though!). In addition, I also drive a car and would require at the very least the ability to get a street parking permit. I'm mostly introverted and enjoy a lot of time to myself however I enjoy a glass of red and netflix sesh with good company on occasion. Sadly (if you see it that way), I am mature minded and don't have a lot of time for Disney movies/rom coms/The Bachelor and the like. I am experienced in share houses and can share the load no worries. I have a sick TV and some furniture so I'd prefer a non-furnished room. Looking for other respectful, friendly people who are aware of boundaries and personal space. LGBTI and sex worker friendly, I don't discriminate.
Hi! I'm a clean and reliable full-time student at Swinburne University (Bachelor of Arts - Chinese and Professional Writing) I mostly keep to myself but wouldn't be apposed to chatting or hanging out! During my free time I'm either watching TV, studying or working. I can cook, whether I can cook well or not really depends. My schedule consists of some early starts and some late nights coming back.
Hardly been in Melbourne for about 8 months still kinda fresh off the boat, Im 22, 23 this month yaay~~ currently studying Business Masters degree and working part time as a bartender well not sure what more roles I might be doing later, quite easy to get along with people but I'm also good at staying out of the way. mad respect to everyone's private space(idgaf✌). Im clean tidy considerate person who has great sense of humor, watches lots of netflix plus some Korean drama but no time for it anymore uni is killing my inner soul already. My only request is to make sure the house is nearby train station or trams because Unfortunately, I don't have a driving license to own a car any sooner :(
Hi I'm Allistair. Grew up in Melbourne. Working Full-time. Clean, organized, relaxed, social, honest, outgoing and responsible. Looking to share a place with people who are easy to get along with. I'm very active and enjoy the outdoors. Love a good movie or doco. Enjoy good banter with friends and eating out.
Trust in God, faith is what makes me proud to be a good gentleman. Crave for movies, love to watch movies at Hoyts Cinema. Interested in Teaming-Up, would love to find someone to move in a new house together. See you then 😊
Study abroad student from Germany looking for a nice and friendly flat. I'm not a party person but I like to hang out with people for conversations, a shared meal or just to watch a movie together. I study Primary Education at Swinburne for four months. I chose Australia for a study abroad semester because I thought Australia is warm. haha. But I still like it here and I'm waiting for it to get warmer so I can explore Melbourne and the rest of Australia. Vegetarian. Please write me for further informations about myself or if you think i'd fit in your flat!
Hi My name is Jack. I am currently studying at the Swinburne University of Technology as an International student from Germany. Despite my 22 years age i am a clean and responsible guy. I am the kind of person with whom you could have a relaxing time watching movies. I will be working a lot for my study and therefore I will have to focus on working for the university. The best way I get in my "focus zone" is by having a clean desk. I like it when it is clean and tidy because then my concentration is on a whole different level and i could get work done. That is the reason why garbage has to be cleaned up and thrown away. As well as keeping the dish washer clean and in a good state. Like everybody I am enjoying while hearing music. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hello, I am Kane, international student pursuing Masters from Australian Polytechnic in the city. I have been literally not very old living in Melbourne and looking for a share house wiht people aged between 21-35 years old. I'm 27 though. I moved from Adelaide and been working their part time and studying MIB (Masters in International Business). I find myself as a nice guy looking for great housemates who sometimes don't mind having a get together, BBQ etc, I am a non smoker and drink very often if mood is okay! Right now staying at a share house with 2 other girls and thy are happy with me. Have to give 2 weeks notice before I get another. I'm a pretty easy going/chilled out person who enjoys watching/playing football (or soccer as i'm told its called) and going to the gym. I'm also always in the mood for watching a film or two. I have got 1 car on me and i don't mind parking it on the side of the road or street. I would love to have a house which has got 2 toilets at least and well built. I work full time with uber and i have my own transport business here in Melbourne. I don't mind sharing my food with others, i cook food, but mostly go outside to eat. I go to DOHERTY'S GYM and try to eat clean a bit. Got universities every Wednesday so need to come and go from UNI quick so i'm looking a close by area and where can park my car on street with no parking restrictions. Hope you guys find me a great house mate
Hi all, I’m an accountant at a small firm in Malvern and am looking at moving as close to work as possible as I am currently commuting from Berwick. I have lived in both share housing and a studio apartment in the past. I pay my rent on time and keep thing tidy. I’m pretty busy at the moment as in addition to working full time I am completing my CA qualification. When I get a spare moment I generally head to the gym or just relax watching tv/ movies (don’t mind a drink now and again too). I’m happy to come and inspect properties and get to know people either after work on Mondays & Wednesdays or on a weekend, whatever suits best.

I like foreign films, bikeriding and I'm a foodie. Kiwi lad, My lease is due to expire end of July and i am looking at changing it up from my current situation. Work keeps me busy during mon-fri. I play cricket, golf and also train muay thai which takes up most of my time outside of work. I like most sports and enjoy socializing over a drink from time to time.
Oh hey, my names Bree. I'm 28 looking for a place closer to work. I am a full time manager for Nike. I'm active but I also like to have a few beers and throwing shakas around. I am social but like my own space. I have lived in share houses for over 6 years so it's safe to say I know how to be a decent human and tidy up after myself. I enjoy trashy tv, watching footy, having funny banter and travelling. I do have a cat and turtle. They go alright.
Hi. I'm Shahram 37 yo. I'm very easy going, clean and tidy. I'm after a place to call it home. I respect other ppl's privacy but also happy to share a meal and have some chats even outdoor activities if you like. I have a full time professional job and just finished my master degree. I have a car and a parking spot would be great. I love cats and puppies but not indoor, so I can't join if you have indoor pets. Thanks.
Hi, my name is Vicky! I am 26 year old Japanese female who works in the city. I am looking for a short term private room where close to Melbourne city. Anywhere less than 10km from the city would be perfect but not west side please! I will be able to stay in the house/flat for 3 months and half as I need to go back to my country in late November. I prefer to move to a place in very early August but it is flexible! A little bit of my self. I am easy going, happy, friendly, tidy, honest, and respectful. I like spending time with friends and have good laughs though I also love "Me time". Party out not in! I have lived in sharehouses last two years so I reckon I am well house trained myself. I dont mind my future housemates' gender and nationarities. I love meeting new people from all over the world! Looking forward hearing from you soon :D Vicky x
Hiya :) I'm Hannah and I am a delight of a human seeking a new home! I've been living in Brunswick for a little while and I'm preeeeetttyy keen to branch out from my little inner-North bubble (also my housemates are both moving interstate/overseas, and I'm not so keen on being without a home). I'm currently studying a Masters course in Criminology in the city at RMIT and work part time for a community health not for profit in the Eastern suburbs. I come with car, witty banter and a pretty good lasagna. And a slightly concerning obsession with dogs.... Pretty quiet, and there are days when I am deep in the study cave, but I'm always down for a cuppa... or a drank... or a trip to the supermarket... or any kind of procrastinating really. Would love a house that has a bit of a social aspect to it, but where everyone is happy to do their own thang. More than happy to pitch in with those fun communal aspects, fully house trained and pretty darn good at paying bills on time! (Also, not really in a rush to move... it's pretty important for it to be the right housemate fit, right?)
Hi everyone , I'm looking for a place to call home for at least the next 6 months if not longer! I'm 21, I love make up and having a few drinks and good night out every now and again but also love a quiet night in. I am a very relaxed tidy person who is social (but needs to make new friends) but also loves some down time relaxing or watching a movie. I do have a car so I would need some sort of parking. I'm happy to share or cook my own food would love to sit down catch up and have a meal with each other ever now and again. I also loving going out for brunch, lunch or dinner and exploring what Melbourne has to offer. I have a job at a nightclub and I'm still looking for some extra work for my days off and have afew interviews coming up this week. Please no cats (I'm allergic) but I'm fine dogs and love them! I am looking for a private room something that is close to public transport and not to far from Swinburne, I would love a room that can fit a double or queen bed and a desk, I don't mind if the room in furnished or not, I have afew furniture items and a goldfish but happy to leave them behind. Around $1000 per month anything cheaper would be great! Message me if you have something that will suit, would love to come and have a look at your available room and meet you! 😊
Hiya!! We are a couple in our late 20's moving to Melbourne at the end of September from Auckland, New Zealand. We are looking for a nice room/home to rent when we first arrive. Ideally for the first 1-2 months while we find something permanent but would consider something more long term if it worked out!! We are both pretty chilled, very considerate, super clean and tidy and pay rent and bills on time. We have been to Melbourne a couple of times but are looking forward to really getting to know what Melbourne has to offer!! I (Jamie) will be starting a new job with a company in South Melbourne, working full time Mon-Fri, Thomas is a musician/producer/DJ and has a few things lined up when we first arrive but given his line of work his working hours are flexible. We are looking for more of a home vibe rather than a party flat, respectful of people's own time and privacy but do enjoy a glass of red wine and good chats from time to time!! (and we are both animal lovers if you have a furry addition). During the week we are pretty quiet with work, the gym and chilling at home. In the weekends we love going out for meals, heading to the beach and when we move exploring our new city!! Ideally it would be great to be near public transport so we can find our way around when we first arrive before we buy a car. Any questions just let us know!! Also happy to Skype/facetime to meet before we arrive! Thanks:)
