Modern looking (only a few years old) in the best location and in the best position for transport in any direction, next to Kooyong Tennis Club and shops and around the corner of the Kooyong Train Station and the Glenferry Rd Trams. My place is contemporary with large French windows, modern furnishings and anythings and everything's you need or want, a good home light and bright and if you used to stylish suraundings, you be at home here. Fully carpeted and on top of them some Oriental rugs, modern granit kitchen and granit dining table. New washing machine and dryer in a separate loundry, marble double bathroom with bath and Jacusi and shower. Your room has a double mattress on a single size bed and if you get cold there is bed heater, and to help to get dressed, a large full length mirror and enogh cabinet space. Throughout the house there are lots of large Full length mirrors plus a very large outdoor veranda with big leafy trees outside your bedroom windows (at night you can watch the “purfing” possums) outside your windows looking at you- In short, you will be hard pressed to find a nicer place to call home you going to share with easy going people to like.
We are a ground level apartment. Our kitchen overlooks a large and well looked after garden. We also have a small balcony which is perfect on those sunny mornings or balmy evenings. We are close to tram stops and a 3 minute walk (250m) to Kooyong Station. It's about 15 minutes door to door to Flinders Street. The Monash Freeway entrance is a 1 minute drive away. There is a small strip of shops a very short walk away with a pharmacy, post office, milk bar, bottle shop and cafes. Malvern and Glenferrie shopping strips aren't too far away. The room has a large window so plenty of natural lighting. The wardrobe is in the passageway directly opposite the room. Rent is $677.66 per month. Internet is $26.75. Bills (gas and electricity) are split evenly. Bond is $650.
I work for an awesome 'for purpose' organisation, im into coaching, mentoring, volunteering, studying, having wine with great people, luv the great outdoors, looking for a great person who is looking to rent a room with no fuss !
Very social guy, neat and tidy, happy to hang out but also to keep up some personal space, currently studying my undergrad in nursing and working in hospitality. I'm looking for a place to live preferably near public transport and hopefully with a room large enough to fit a desk, and also queer friendly, more than happy to pull my weight around the house and also to lend a helping hand when possible!
Hi! I'm a 24 yr old PhD Student at Monash University, currently moving into the beginning of my second year. I work from home 1 day a week so can keep any animal friends (dogs, cats, rabbits) company for that day. I am pretty clean and tidy and love to cook so I will always try and make sure the house always smells and looks lovely :) Any other questions/getting to know me can definitely be done over a coffee, which I drink religiously, so I hope to hear from you. x Hyab
I'm easy going, friendly, clean, polite, honest and reliable. I was born in Tasmania, and recently moved over for university. I'm a farm boy and enjoy cricket, snowboarding and travel. I'm a huge camp goer and spend every summer volunteering on kids summer camps.
I love making food and listening to jazz. Can easily demolish a bottle or two of wine and would love a place that have doggs!!! Studying Event Management at Swinburne and I work part time in retail and hospo. I'm currently into making jewelry and eating every pickled thing I can get my hands on!! Im sociable but respect downtime but i would very love to have house mates that are not only someone to live with but to chill and gossip and drink lovely cheap wine with :) also VERY allergic to cats, so i cant live with a cat, sorry!
I have plenty of 'life experience'. I'm a lover of food and wine (and beer and gin), and an easy-going, people-person who likes trying new things when not preoccupied with study and work. Plus I love cooking when its not just for myself and I'm super tidy (most of the time).
38 Years old male, professional manager, works in Project Management firm in the Docklands. Also a MBA student. Clean, tidy, organised and responsible. Quiet and want to have my private time, although I always like to have good chat and solve the world's problem over a drink :-) Regards
Hey, I'm a pretty down to earth guy working in I.T. Generally a pretty quiet personality but I like having a laugh when I can. Very tidy in shared spaces, but not always my own room. I like gardenin', chilling out with a beer or some red wine and... yeah, otherwise I'm probably just skewing around on the computer.
Hi I'm Sarah! I'm a biomedicine student and I work part time in childcare. I like yoga, running, being social and being creative. I also like getting out of town and spending as much time as possible in the ocean and hiking. My move date is flexible.
Hi, I am a full-time student, in my second year of university. Studying Law at Deakin. I am a very active and driven 19 year old. I am looking for a house which enjoys socialising and hanging out together, but also allows 'me' time. I am an extremely clean and hygienic person to live with. Easy-going and can compromise with almost anything
Hello! i'm looking for a place to live for 4 months before i move overseas. I'm also looking to move in as soon as possible My current housemates have described me as the greatest housemate they've ever had, super handsome and just a general legend. ....Well, at least i assume that's what they say when i'm not around. Anyway moving on, i'm a super laid back guy who's very easy to get along with. I work full time as a bartender in Hawthorn and spend most of my time there. If i'm not working i'm typically reading, riding my bike or cracking into a nice beer (or 4) I don't smoke and have no pets but i'm happy to live with people who do. I'm as clean as they come and very reliable with rent. I'd love to discuss a potential roof over my head with anyone lucky enough to have me. I look forward to hearing from you all. Thanks in advance
My name is Annabel, I’m 20 years old and I’ll be studying a Bachelor of Arts/History at Swinburne this year. I work at least three days a week in Malvern, and I love cheese platters, reading, singing, op-shopping and the occasional wine. I’d love to meet some housemates who are keen on being friends, sharing meals sometimes and binge-watching new Netflix series. I’ve lived out of home for over a year now, in two rental properties with housemates of similar age, I get rent in on time and love to help out around the house. Can’t wait to hear from you!
I am a chilled person with some unwise stories about myself. Enjoy Netflix and gym. Not that they go well together but I wished they did. In spare time I am either st gym or hiking in Ferntree gully. I am a bartender at crown casino. Part time
I am a quiet 28yo male who works full time in the healthcare industry. I am on a 12-month assignment in Melbourne. My home, male partner and a dog are in Adelaide. I will be travelling frequently to Adelaide and my partner will be visiting me every few weeks too. Not a fan of loud music or wild late night home parties. Would be nice to share the place with someone (male or female) who is mildly sociable as I am going to miss my partner and dog quite a bit in the initial months.
Hi, my name is Rebecca. I’m wanting to move to Melbourne around the end of January to early February as I’m studying part-time at Swinburne in Hawthorn, in Animation. I’m 29 and have been working full time as a Primary school teacher in the Western suburbs for the last two years and was working as a Casual Relief Teacher before that, since 2012. I’m hard working, easy going, LOVE to cook; making pizza and flat breads are my jam; love listening to and going to see live music, love to share a wine or three and I’m, and always have been, a massive cartoon nut. (Rick and Morty!!!)
Hey guys, I'm a Personal Trainer who works at a local Hawthorn gym, I'm super active and energetic! You'll find me out for walks most mornings and just generally outdoors especially when the sun's out =] I try to bury my head in books most afternoons if I have the time, and am a podcast nut! I'm known to order a disproportionate amount of uber eats but also love to cook when I have the time, which unfortunately isn't often these days. A couple extra fun facts include, that I worked as a professional Tennis Coach at Melbourne Park between 2010 - 2014 and completed 7th grade Violin whilst at Melbourne High School. I absolutely thrive off interpersonal interaction but am not much of a party type. I'd much prefer to enjoy a nice bottle of red over dinner with friends and stimulating conversation. Thanks for taking the time to read through, hope to hear from you soon.
Hi future flatmate, Danielle and I are both young professionals that have just relocated from Perth to Melbourne and looking for a place to call home. Danielle (from Perth) is a qualified teacher currently working for the council in Camberwell so a place near there would be ideal. I (from England) work in retail and previously managed a store selling outdoor equipment. We like to come back after work and enjoy a healthy meal and maybe a walk in a park. We love sports and outdoors so generally incorporate this on our weekends. We are both very clean, tidy and respectable, always cleaning up after ourselves and can provide many references from previous flatmates, landlords and even houseowners from housesitting. Ideally we would like a place that is clean, reasonable size and sharing with a single person/another couple. We can commit to at least six months but with the possibility of extending. Shorter leases would be a plus. Preferably furnished, or at least everything but the room furnished, and it would be nice with our own bathroom but not a necessity! We have also considered renting a two bed and getting someone else in the other room which works out very cheap. Let us know if you have anything that may suit us or want to find a flat together! Cheers, Maria
Naomi- “Nomes” (like the garden gnome), I’m 22. I’m looking for something around the Kew/ Malvern/ Richmond/ Carlton/ Collingwood/ Fitzroy area and for around $150- $170 a week. Close to PT so I can head to work at Officeworks (cbd). Things about me! When not working, I love going to gigs and having a pint or two so will accompany you to some live music. You can often find me listening to music/ binge watching series/ reading scripts for upcoming short films etc. I also love to cook/ bake and will make you scrummy things (whilst ALWAYS cleaning up my messes!) I’m a super respectful person and will understand your need for space/ cleanliness/ noise volume etc so would be a P R I M E housemate if I don’t say so myself. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
My name is Andreas, I am 22 currently studying Physics at Swinburne. Easy to get along with, play soccer, love the gym, enjoy watching sports, playing video games, clean and tidy and not a hermit but can definitely respect private space as I have lived with other people before. I own a TV, fridge, washing machine, couch etc. My only requirements is a room big enough to fit my queen and desk and a place to park my car :) If I haven't said something here and you're not sure please don't hesitate to message me and I'll get back to you ASAP! :)
I am an animal lover, vegetarian and looking for a relaxed, comfy and clean place to live. I am currently finishing cert III in childcare and working at a cattery, a cafe and dog walking! I am clean and always pay my bills on time. I am after a housemate/housemates who respect privacy as do I, are clean, friendly and who are up for a chat once in a while! In my spare time I love to watch Netflix, go to galleries, go on coffee dates with friends, go on day trips and I also love doing makeup and dressing up! My ideal place would be a room that is at least 3X4m and situated near the 75 tram and close to the city. I am flexible with stay length! 😊😊😊😊😊
Hi I'm Victor, 25 from Stockholm, Sweden. I'm a law student attending Deakin University for a trimester. I'm really looking forward my time in Melbourne, I have only been visiting the city once a few days back in 2013 when I backpacked the east coast. I would prefer to share a flat with people not speaking Swedish, to get the most memorable time in Melbourne. I love to make new friends! I would say I'm a quiet (even though I'm pretty outgoing as a person) and responsible clean/organised housemate. I love to cook and hang out over drinks and food. I would prefer to stay at one place during my time in Melbourne and my stay is founded by student finance and of course a lot of savings. Hope to hear from you!
