I'd love to find a place to stay for a year, hopefully, longer. Ideally near a tram or train station! I'm a full time nursing student at QUT. I'm pretty tidy, clean, and very easy going. I enjoy spending time with my housemates, but I do like my alone time too. I absolutely love dogs, so if you have one, you better prepare it to be smothered with lots of love. I'm always down to chat and binge watch TV shows or movies together. Especially, if you like Brooklyn nine nine, we will get along extra well! I'm a massive foodie, a pretty good cook and I bake a lot so you definitely won't go hungry. I do have a boyfriend so you'll have to get used to him being around sometimes. Looking forward to meet you :) p.s. please forgive me at being so terrible at responding to messages, I'm abroad at the moment, but I will get back to you as soon as I can x
Hello! My name is Cherie Thorpe and turn 39 next year. I have recently left an eight year relationship in Perth which was emotionally abusive and controlling by my exfiancé. I am searching for a quiet and relaxing environment to call home where I can emotionally heal, become healthy, independent and happy..mind, body, spirit and soul. After studying Behavioural Science at UWA for a while I decided to focus all of my energy on my writing (my passion in life) and am nearly about to get a book I am working on (which entails collecting qualitative data using the Grounded theory as used in Sociology circles). At the moment I am on the Disability Pension as I suffer from anxiety/social phobia. For the past month I have been staying at my parent's home in Coombabah/Runaway Bay. My parents and my brother’s family all live on the Gold Coast which is great as family is very important to me. At first I may appear to be extremely shy and quiet but when I get to know you, I will come ‘out of my shell’ so to speak! I value kindness, generosity, compassion, empathy, responsibility, respect, trust, honesty and personal privacy. Extremely hygienic and a very clean and tidy person who (although it may sound strange...) actually enjoys cleaning!
Hey! I'm Anna, 24, originally from Sydney and half Hungarian. - I would like to move in in the first week of January, possibly earlier (let's discuss it!) - Budget: maximum $200/week for a private room, strongly prefer $120-180/week. - I'd like a furnished or partially furnished room with a double bed or bigger and windows. - I would like to have guests over sometimes, family and friends up from Sydney for a few nights or stuff like that. - I will probably travel often and be away for 2-7 days regularly. - I will 100% be working full/part time, and possibly going to TAFE. - Closeness to shops and cafes would be preferred, plus closeness to TAFE. - I'm a non smoker, don't mind if you do (not indoors please). - Love pets, am LGBT friendly, prefer no kids. I'm not vegetarian but respect you if you are. - Would like friendly room mates who chat/hang out together at home, but respect one anothers alone time too. We can sometimes have a movie night, play some board games, make pizza together, grab a drink, stuff like that. - I wouldn't fit in to a full on party house -or- a very quiet house. - I'm neat, tidy and clean and would prefer to live with others who are as well. - Looking for a 3 month lease to start with, but am looking for 6-12 months stay. I'm happy to sign a 1 year lease in the first few weeks if everything is great and we all get along! A bit about me: My hobbies include outdoor rock climbing, kayaking, swimming, bike riding and going to the beach. I play the ukulele (not very well) but love making music, especially with others. I enjoy drawing/painting/lino printing, am heavily into video games (mostly PC) and watching movies, shows and documentaries (anything but horror). I usually attend a few festivals and love going to concerts too. I love travelling and have travelled a lot (around Australia, Asia and Europe), and will most likely be going away regularly for short trips throughout the year. Although I love a good party, I wouldn't be suitable to a party house with constantly blaring music and crowds over multiple times a week. On the flip side I do love having a chat, little get togethers and social time, so I wouldn't want to live in a kind of sterile, very quiet place either. I would like to have guests over sometimes (friends over for an afternoon or staying over for a movie night, or friends/family visiting from Sydney for a few days and stuff like that). This is important to me, so it's important that that would be OK with all of my flat mates too! :) If you think we would be a good fit please message me! Thank you for reading, and happy holidays! :)

Hi there, I’m from Malaysia, Chinese. I’m studying at TAFE Ashmore until end of 2019, but will continue studies after that. I study three days a week and have a part time job on other days. Other than that, I go for a motorcycle road trip somewhere if there’s time and good weather. My bike isn’t loud if you are worried. I keep stuff as tidy as possible, a tidy place is more comfortable than a wreck, right? Am not a night life, party person. But will go out with friends once in awhile. I don't mind a small room, single bed, medium wardrobe. But will need a decent wifi, a proper desk and place to park my bike. Will appreciate if it is living with house owner condition as I have a pretty bad experience with leased houses. Thanks.

Hi, I’m moving to the coast from Brisbane to study. Looking for a place to live while I settle in and find my own place. I’m clean and respectful of other people and their belongings. I like to keep fit and live a healthy lifestyle, but I still enjoy the occasional beer. I love travelling and all things music. Looking for positive friendly people to share with. Cheers Mary
I am a very well travelled Australian having visited 31 countries around the world. The room is ideally suited to a university student studying at Griffith University, Gold Coast campus or a full time worker under 40 years of age.. I have had foreign students, both male and female stay at my home from many countries including, United Kingdom, India, Nepal, Korea, Japan, China, Libya, Iran, Colombia, Brazil, South Africa and New Zealand, in the past 11 years. Race, religion and nationality are totally unimportant to me. My home is within walking distance of Griffith University but I am happy to drive my students to University in the mornings free of charge. I always help my students with English if they require that. The room has internet which is available free. The kitchen is available to be used at all times. The room is furnished with a single bed and bedding, small bedside chest of draws, computer deck , wall mirror and large inbuilt wardrobe. It has accommodated 2 students at times as it can have 2 single beds in it or one double bed . If 2 students shared the room, the rent for the room would be $ 230 a week. I enjoy an occasional cold beer or glass of vintage red with my guests and enjoy trying their national foods if they cook. I'm a very quite person who has a large library of books on all subjects and is always up for a chat so I can learn all about their national culture and maybe teach them about Australia and it's culture. I enjoy showing my foreign students around the Gold Coast and hinterland and also learning about the country and customs in their home country. It is in a very quiet Cul de sac and has a small garden front and back.
Hi, I'm a 26 year old English guy (on the left) studying and playing soccer in Coomera, i enjoy health and fitness and being social. I am easy going and tidy. I am looking for a relatively quiet easy going house.
I’m a quiet, carefree gal who cleans up after herself and always pays her rent on time. 🙃 I work full time as a makeup artist/beauty therapist on Hope Island, and I’ve only recently moved to the Gold Coast from rural NSW 🤙🏻
I'm a friendly open guy from Switzerland :). At the moment I'm studying at Shafston school in the Gold Coast. I like to have discussions about the world or lifestyle. In my freetime I prefer to do a lot of different sports, to travel around or reading informative books :) My friends say that I'm open-minded, love to meet new people and have the mindset of a optimist. :D I'm looking for an apartment (if possible with an own-room) from the 04.01.19 until 24.03.19. I like it ordinary and clean! Don't hesitate to contact me! See yaaa Mate! :P
