Considerate non-smoking, drug free, quiet individual who is well out of my party life but definitely up for a drink and a feed at the pub. Currently getting my bachelors at uni in science. Can drive. Pet is a single almost year old female desexed cat that is the silliest, sweetest thing who high fives for dinner. I volunteer animal rescue and welfare in my spare time. I have an almost whole house worth of furniture (need a new fridge but i do have a bar freezer).
I work full time and study by distance. On my weekends I enjoy catching up with friends and exploring Newcastle. I have family only a few hours drive away so visit them often.
We have a big house located in Lambton in a friendly neighbourhood. Large lounge room, large kitchen, large living space and plenty of storage. Close to university, shops and not too far from Newcastle's beaches etc. We have air con, and dishwasher too. No pets sorry :(
Hey, I'm tayla! I am moving to Newcastle to work as a paramedic in April. I'm posted at Birmingham Gardens station so anywhere within reasonable driving distance is sweet. I'm easy going and sociable so looking for someone likeminded. I've lived in share houses and always enjoyed the social aspect of doing so. Ideally I'd like to live with someone I can get to know and have a laugh with. Give me a yell for more info :)
The unit/townhouse is in a brilliant location, only 5min from the Uni, Jesmond shops and the John Hunter Hospital and 15min from town/the beach. There is a park within a 2min walk and it is a quiet and friendly neighborhood. The unit itself is spacious but not too big, so easy to maintain. The living, dining, kitchen, bathroom and laundry is already furnished. The kitchen has a dishwasher, large fridge, stove, oven and microwave. There is a small, low maintenance yard. There is also air conditioning for the living/dining area. The available bedroom is light, spacious and has a built in wardrobe. It also has air conditioning. There is also a garage which is available for use, which will reduce insurance costs and keep your car in good condition. The shared bathroom has a separate shower and toilet with 2 large linen cupboards for storage. There is also a second toilet in the laundry. There is also a small spare room which has a study desk and used for storage. Also handy for the occasional visit from friends or family. Bills and internet are not included but I estimate it would only be an extra $20-25/week to cover this.
Hi I'm a full time student studying IT/business while working part time. I'm clean and tidy and fairly quiet. I enjoy doing things like having house dinners and other social things like that. I keep fairly busy with sport outside of work and uni which can mean I'm not home often.
Hey l'm John :) I'm 24, working full time as a disability support worker and studying law part time. I'm an easy going guy looking for cool people to live with and a nice house to live in! l'm gay so it needs to be LGBT friendly :) message me if you have something you think l might be interested in!
Hi, my name is Emma. Living in cairns in my first apartment I purchased. Working as casual as a flight attendant I am moving back to Newcastle (home) at the end of April for work and am looking for a new beautiful room to rent that I can call home. I work a lot, both mornings, nights and working away. Non smoker, quite, who enjoys my time off relaxing with family and friends.
My name's Mitch, I'm 19. I'm employed full time in IT I work a shift roster. 4 on 4 off, totaling 48 hours over an 8 day rotation. When I'm at home I enjoy relaxing. Usually at my computer, listening to music or reading a book. I'd like a casual and laid back living environment, yet clean and social :)
Hey :) My nickname is Chel. I am looking for a new humble abode as my current house is going on the market and the 2 girls I live with are going separate ways. Would like to live with 1-3 girls that are around my age. Ideally I would love to become friends or at least get along well. In other words movies and wine nights are welcome. But also like having my own space too. I recently finished studying a diploma of business majoring in events management. I have two jobs. One in reception and one in retail. I like bing watching shows like Gilmore girls all the way to Breaking Bad. Favourite foods are lasagne and a good o'l greasy burger. I am all about keeping the communal sections clean. I already own a couch, washing machine, small dining table and small fridge. For team ups. If you choose me I will let you be my guinea pig with the baked goods I make on my days off. I am up for a coffee to see if I am a compatible housemate :)
Hey, my name is Zoe and I'm eighteen years old, I'm currently searching for a place to move whether that be to a share house or a new house where I can find roommates of my own to move in as well :) I'm extremely friendly, I'm quiet but social, I'm very clean, I don't party rarely ever, same goes with drinking and I don't smoke or do drugs of any kind, I'm very much into makeup, piercings and tattoos, I don't currently have a job but I am looking for one and am receiving help from a job provider for that, I get Centrelink money and my grandparents will be helping me out financially until I have found a job, I love animals of all kinds, I have a boyfriend who I see quite frequently and who stays over night once a week and visits during the day twice a week, but he will not be living with me, if anyone is interested in finding a house with me or if anyone has a spare room I can rent please send me a message, I'm happy to answer any questions :)
Hi! My name is Kim, I'm 28 and work as a Beauty/Laser Therapist. I'm looking for one or two people around the same age as me to rent a house. I own a dog, a 20kg groodle named Sunny. She's well behaved and has heaps of energy. I'd prefer to live with someone who doesn't have any pets - we've lived with two other dogs at one stage and it was too much! Cats are definately a no-go because Sunny loses her mind over them sorry. I'm very clean and tidy, respectful of other's space and super friendly. Love having a laugh, make a mean cheese platter, love a glass of red and I'm always down for a chat. I like to entertain every now and again or get dressed up to go to a bar. I am by no means a party animal (I'm saving to buy a house) and don't want to live in a party house. On weekends I like to get outdoors, go to the beach, go to cafes or markets, take Sunny for walks and just generally be social with friends. Looking for someone who is a normal, functioning adult that is a non-smoker. I own bits and pieces but no larger items such as fridge, washing machine etc so it would be great if I could team up with someone who has those things already! I work full time so $$$ is no issue and I always pay rent on time. If you're interested send me a message :)
Hi there, my name is Celeste. I have a fat rabbit named Hugo and a small sausage dog cross named Lola. We're looking to move out pretty soon. I work 9-5 Monday to Friday at a financial planning firm so I have a regular income and I'm pretty quiet when home. I have no problem with people who like to party or people who just like to come home to relax. I have also been known to pick people up from town at ridiculous hours (if that is helpful for you). I play the violin and I'd love to hear from you.
Hey guys, Looking for a room or also keen to team up and look for a place. Im 25 years old moved over from Auckland for footy 3 years ago but decided i like the area so want to settle down here. I work full time mon - fri plus weekends as a bouncer haha. Im hardly home due to work & footy commitments so i don't make a mess. Hi there, I'm Blake. I am currently in my final year of studying a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Newcastle. In my spare time I enjoy rockclimbing, kayaking and swimming. I am tidy, quiet, clean, and love cooking. Rental needs to be LGBTI friendly, unfurnished and non-smoking 😎. Looking to move ASAP. feel free to send a text and tell me a bit about the room, and who I would be living with.
This will probably be the most brutally honest flatmate add you will ever read. I am a full time employed person who love my own space so I will stay out of your way a lot but I am happy to have a drink and spend time with a fun flatmate. I love to cook and look after the space. I am pretty house proud. Here is the thing, I am looking for something very specific. I am single and would like to have fun without judgement. I will give and give to the house and the people in it but here are the things I need. A flat mate who ... Must be ok with - sex sounds - muffled screams - lesbian action (I am bi and sometimes enjoy the company of ladies) - jelly wrestling parties - group sex (it's ok, you can join in if you like!!) - BDSM themes Must not be A prude Also, no vegans. Sounds silly but I have loved with people who wouldn't let me cook meat in the house before soooo ... Nope. As you can see I am honest and straight forward ... What you see is what you get !! Male flatmate preferred. Purely because I usually get a long with males better, but I am happy to be proved wrong !! :)) Peace and love
Im 20 years old and am an extremely social and friendly person, but I also enjoy keeping to myself at times. I am very clean and have to live in a tidy area. I'm looking to move in with females only. I am a very creative and artsy person, and I sing and play some acoustic guitar and piano so a room mate would have to be ok with that. I like to get out of the house a lot, and spend most of my time at the beach. Im also starting at Newcastle uni this feb. That's pretty much it!
I'm friendly but not intrusive, quiet but not dead, neat and tidy but not to point of OCD. I can cook but I wont take over the kitchen and I clean up as I go. I am happy to share cleaning duties on a roster. I'll even take out the garbage bins and bring them in. I can chat about anything if that's what you need and I'll leave you alone when you need space.
Most of my hobbies revolve around using a computer so I tend to be pretty quiet in my day to day life. I don't like having lots of stuff (like - possessions) so I don't spread out much into shared areas. I am a really good communicator, if there are interpersonal issues I am totally OK with sitting down and working it out.
