Greeting and salutations. I work full time for a not for profit organisation in city and I am also studying a degree online. I work hard during the week and relax/study on weekends. I am friendly and low maintenance, respectful to others and their space and finance (i.e. rent and bills) are always on time.
Hi I am a clean, friendly, healthy person and am looking for somewhere peaceful as I work full time and study part time. I am the kind of person who likes to study at home with pots of tea and food at hand. Our lease is coming to an end and my lovely flatmates have their contracts ending early in the new year, so I am looking for a new home. Generally I like to go to the markets, swim, explore Litchfield , kakadu, yoga, chill with friends. I don't smoke or drink. 😊
FOR RENT: * Master bedroom with private ensuite. * Built-in wardrobes, split system aircon, queen-size ensemble (good comfortable mattress, BYO linen & bedding) * Two dedicated side-by-side undercover off-street car parking spaces. * 200 metres from both inbound and outbound bus stops * 1.6km to Darwin City centre Communal areas are outfitted with a 520Litre fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a 7KG washing machine, and all the usual household furnishings. Perfect for couples! Additional lockable ground-floor storage space can be made available upon negotiation. No Pets No Smoking
AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!! ** Clean apartment and friendly flatmates ;) ** One spacious bedroom, available to rent in a 3 bedroom apartment. Air conditioning, built in wardrobe and basic furniture if needed (base, mattress, desk and chair). We rotate with the underground parking as there are only two spots for the three of us. Two weeks in, one week out. Parking on the street is free and very safe. The building has a pool for you to enjoy after a long day at work! And a small gym if you like to keep fit! We are looking for a professional, ideally working full time so it matches our own schedules. Who is; socially competent, respectful of his own space and others, with an understanding of living in a shared space. We’re not just looking for another flat mate, we’re looking for a character, someone with who we could share things and learn from each other! Sorry, but we are unable to accomodate couples. The apartment is kept clean and tidy at all times. We try not to party too often as it is an apartment building and we like to be considerate towards our neighbours, however when we do, the party needs to move outside by 10pm ish. The bond is 800$, and will of course be given back to you in full as soon as you move out, as long as the room is left in the same way as you found it. Please, don't hesitate to give me a call or send me an sms on my number as I'm out working all day! DON’T MISS OUT!!! Cheers, Eliot.
Hi I'm Samantha, I'm from Sydney, I study law at the University of Sydney. I am coming to Darwin for 6 weeks to do an internship at the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA) from the 7th of January-15th of February. I am very easy going, looking forward to discovering Darwin. I like cooking and reading.
The place is very new (rent was $700 per week back in 2014) and situated in a fantastic location, about a 10 minute walk to the CBD in one direction and the famous Mindil Beach in the other. The room itself is 3.3m by 3.6m, fully air-conditioned and includes a walk-through wardrobe and an en-suite. The pictures on the profile are of my room (due to my room being slightly cleaner) but both rooms are identical. The room can come either completely unfurnished, or my current housemate has offered to leave the bed/mattress/desk depending on your preferences. Rent is $250 per week and includes power/water, unlimited high-speed internet and a secure off-street parking space. I should make it known that the table tennis table is only temporary (unless you think you could beat me).
I am a single 24 year old recent graduate who is moving to Darwin from Perth on February 3rd 2019 for a new job as rehabilitation consultant with iPar in Darwin. I am very athletic and enjoy playing indoor soccer and volleyball in my spare time. I am easy to get along with and looking for accommodation for 6 months+- with fun housemates who enjoy going out in the evening but also value my and their own space.
As of November 30th, we have one fully furnished room to rent in a three bedroom apartment on Smith Street. The room is furnished with a queen sized bed, full length mirrored double wardrobe, air conditioning, fan, and bedside table. The rest of the apartment includes a spacious living area and balcony. It is also fully furnished and air conditioned, with everything you’ll need from cutlery to a TV, to WiFi. You’ll be sharing a bathroom with one male - 28, but you will have your own mirror, basin, and cabinets. Our apartment has two allocated undercover parking spaces, as well as a few unallocated spaces. On top of this there is always free on street parking available right in front of the apartment block. Appartment is a 3 minute walk to the supermarket, and a 8 minute walk to Darwin city. Rent is $200 p/w which includes water, internet and Netflix. Electricity, is split three ways. I'd prefer someone who is planning on staying six months or longer, but happy to compromise for the right housemate.
The Place: The place is pretty awesome if I don’t mind saying! I purchased it just in May and it was recently renovated before I bought it. Close to the CBD, Mindil Markets and the golf course (aka perfect location). Your room is 4.35m x 3m (BIG!) that is not including the built-in robe! Your room currently has a two-seater couch and a queen bed (mattress and frame) The pictures show a single bed however it now has a queen bed and mattress. Appliances and Utilities • A push bike that you can use whenever you want as I walk to work every day. • Breville glass kettle (I love it because you can see through the kettle ‘simple things ay’) • Nutribullet. • Washing Machine. • Electrolux robot vacuum, I’ve named him ‘Dusty’ and I have scheduled him to clean the floors whilst I am at work. • A dining table / pool table (see the photos) • Top floor unit with no elevator so you can keep fit by climbing two flights of stairs. • 65” Smart TV • Baccarat stone cookware with an induction stove top that heats up super quick! • Dishwasher, microwave and oven. • Unlimited NBN internet with fibre to premise however currently it isn’t the fastest internet. I intend to change it to the best we can get, this is included in the rent. • Wi-Fi scale, so you can track your weight on the Garmin app if you wish. • Awesome brand-new Samsung fridge with built in plumbed ice maker! Bond is to be 2 weeks rent ($225 x 2 = $450) and two weeks’ notice is to be given if you intend to move out, in return I will give you 4 weeks’ notice if I deem the dynamic is not working, therefore giving you time to find other accommodation. I will pay for the internet and electricity however I have a consumption monitoring device so I can see how much electricity is being used and as long as your not going crazy with it then we are all good :) Get keen and hit me up!!

Hi, I've moved up from Katherine, currently working as an apprentice chef, looking for a place close to my work in the city. I'm pretty quiet and clean, not a big party person, only flaw is that I'm a smoker, tho I do promise to keep it outside the house and clean up after myself. Looking to move in sometime in the new year, I don't need a fully finished room but a place with a bed would be great since I don't currently own one.
This is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in the best building in Cullen Bay at Myilly Terrace. There are 5 air con units and 5 fans in the unit as well as a lap pool. There is security only access to the floor of the apartment.
Hi, We're a couple from Ireland who have been in Darwin for the last year and a half, I'm an electrician and my partner is a teacher. We will be on holiday in Ireland over Christmas but need a place to live when we come back and I would like to get it arranged as soon as possible. We are both very friendly, very clean, very easy to live with and respectful of our flat mates. We'd be pretty active and like getting out and about and also like to do a bit of cooking. We will be in Darwin for the foreseeable future so a long term place would be good but happy to take a place shorter term at first to see how it is working out for everyone. If you think that might suit you just give me a shout. Thanks
Recently moved to Darwin from Melbourne for work. I’m a health professional and I work full time but enjoy a glass of wine and chats after work and like to keep active, always up for a gym buddy! and go out on the weekends. I'm new to Darwin, and I'm looking for a room in an apartment or house with not too many people. I'm flexible with pets (I don't have any), and I'll require a parking spot (either on the property or on the street) but not until March or so (it's not immideate) I require the unit to have a dishwasher and dryer. I'll be working full time so I won't be home during the days.

I love the outdoors and am really looking forward to going bushwalking and camping in the NT, as well as getting to know Darwin and its surrounds. I'm available to interview/move in from Jan 4 onwards. Please feel free to contact me if you are looking for a housemate.
