I'm Malthe, 23 yrs, out of Denmark 🙂 I'm a likeable and outgoing person and I have my feet securely planted on the ground, to put it short I'm easy-going and flexible when it comes to how much contact to have with flatmates. I like being social, cooking together or the like (I cook a mean curry!), but I do respect a closed door, as I myself from time to time need some alone time. I'm orderly and neat, having lived with my girlfriend and other flatmates away from home for three years I'm used to taking care of a household, though I'm by far not a prune. I like going out for drinks once in a while but I respect it if my flatmates need a quiet evening. Back home I study full-time at Aarhus University. I study Digital Design and I'm really interested in the way so-called digital artifacts shape our reality, and how designers should be concerned with finding a sweet-spot between aesthetic quality and pragmatic usability (I like to call this 'technopoetic design'), but I figure we'll talk a lot more about that once we meet in real life 😉 Hope to hear from you!
**ROOM AND UNIT DETAILS. Just secured the lease to a 3 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Unit in the Italian Forum. We are offering an unfurnished double room that shares the main bathroom with 1 other and there are only 2 flat mates in this apartment. $270 includes all bills (Unlimited NBN internet, Gas and Electricity). The unit block also has a fully equipped gym and we have a car spot for rent if you have a car- its underground and secure. This is an extra $30 per week. If you have furniture that's great the place is currently unfurnished and we will be fully furnishing it over time. If you have major items like a big screen TV, fridge, washing machine, dinning set or couch we can negotiate the rent. ** TRANSPORT Super convenient for transport to the CBD with the bus stop 50 meters away. Buses come every 7 minutes and take 22 minutes to get to Central station. (M10, 438, 439 or 440). If you prefer trains Petersham Station is a 10 minute walk and takes 14 minutes to Central. University of Sydney is 12 minutes by Bus. ** SOCIAL You have Norton St at your doorstep full of restaurants / cafes / coffee shops / pubs / cinema / Coles, Newtown is a 30 minute walk or literally 4 minutes on the train from Petersham station, Surry hills is 30 minutes by Bus. Ashfield is just up the road and will fulfill your dumpling needs and Summer Hill has a bunch of cafes. Both are 15 minutes away. The Bay Run is a 20 minute walk or 10 minute run. ** WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Prefer someone looking long term 6 months+, who has shared a house and bathroom before, can clean up after themselves, who likes to be involved within the household and partake in dinners or beers/wines every so often and can pay rent on time. This is not a party house and we like to come home to a relaxing house hold. If this sounds like you please shoot me a message. This is also a non smoking unit.
Here's pretty much what you need to know about me: I'm a dude who works and goes to school often, so the only time you'll probably see me is when I'm using the microwave at three in the morning. (Jokes. I'm actually pretty quiet.) I like to play music and have really gotten into Simpsonswave recently. I'm going to hog the washing machine and do laundry often. Gotta smell fresh. Plus, I make a mean meatloaf. Also, I suppose I should mention that I'm from Canada's Mexico. Contact me for more info??
Hey, I'm Sophie, 34 yo from France. After a few years spent in Asia, it's time for me to start a new chapter of my life in Sydney. I'm easy going, food passionate, traveller explorer and enjoy sports and good company. I'm looking for a double and furnished room with an ensuite bath centrally located. I'm easy on the type of property. It can be a studio as it can be a house full of life. I'm looking for a little nest to settle down and hopefully make great friends along the way. Hoping to hear from you soon, Take care, Soph
Hi there! it si Paco Sola. Just arrived to Sydney to work and study until 2018, at least. I´m working in caterings or restaurants until I could find a job in IT (as I have been working as a Project Manager last 4 years). I´m easy-going guy who loves sports and chilling with friends. I´m looking for a room, sharing a terrace, or a house or a flat instead, with nice people who could share beers, wine and bbq some days. Also, I am clean so I would like to be in a clean and respectful house, with not many parties in, but some parties out. I´m in early 30´s so I had many parties back in Spain, so my main purpose is not to go on party every day, or weekend, but I wouldn´t say no to a nice party every 3 or 4 weeks. In addition, I would like to go traveling on weekends if possible some day. So it would be the best if I can find some people that likes to travel around on weekends. I have been traveling around SEA last 6 months so I have many stories to tell, so I promise nice talkings and laughs. anyway, I just want to get a room in a shared place with nice people who could have some talks and be my friends at the end. No asking to much, I think.
Hi, my name is Liz and I am 25 and currently live in Redfern but am looking to try out somewhere else in the inner west. I work full time in marketing in Pyrmont and when I'm not working I enjoy marathons of the Netflix variety, coastal walks, markets, wine bars and brunching. I enjoy going out and being social but also enjoy my down time and would like my home to be a chill place where I can relax. I'd love to have catch up over drinks and cook the occasional meal together but also enjoy have a healthy respect for my own and others' privacy.
Spacious bedroom with huge built in wardrobe, en-suite bathroom and balcony. We are flexible with the furniture as it will be empty once the current housemate will move out and we are happy to fully furnish it if needed. The house is located just a short stroll to Norton Street's restaurants, coffees, supermarkets, medical center, and several shops (Everything within 2 min walk) yet very quite and surrounded by trees. Pubic transports available just in front of the house. We're available for inspections every weekday after 7pm and by appointment in the weekend. If interested, please leave a message here on Flatmates. Daniele and Kimmy
Hi there, I am looking for someone who would like to combine with me to share a lovely 4 bedroom house anywhere in the Inner West, allowing us each to have our own bedroom and our own work space. I am a hypnotherapist and tarot reader who has been running home practices since 2006. I’m looking for someone who would like to share a house where you could work from home, either as a therapist, practitioner, sole-trader or even student. Together, we could look for the right house that works for us both and move in somewhere over April or May. I was thinking of rent between $350-$450 each and of taking a 12 month lease. We would share the usual rental costs and living expenses and we could also unite on business costs if you're interested. This could suit any form of self-employed person who wants a combined home and work space. If this sounds like something you may be interested in, please send me a message. I’d love to chat! Thanks :-)
Prepared to spend more for the right space. 35 years young, single, simple respectful gentleman. Easy going and able to get along with people of all ages. I'd love to team up with someone clean and hygienic to rent a place as I am relocating for work. I exercise regularly (trying to get rid of this spare tyre) at the gym, I'm a professional in the property industry and find Krispy Kreme doughnuts ironically liberating. I'd prefer to live with a female mainly for hormone balance. I do try to eat well and am an amazing cook. I respect privacy, can take a joke, occasionally smoke (never inside) and maintain a clean criminal record for security vetting reasons. I have a kind heart and believe in being fair to my fellow humans. Don't do drugs or party hard so prefer that sort of behavior be kept away from our home, am totally up for socialising though. Would be awesome to make a new friend and hang out during mutual down time. I'm reliable and respect privacy so looking for the same. A secure parking space would be ideal. Oh, and I cannot stand when something smells in the fridge, if it's rotting, lets chuck it out shall we?! Best of luck to you all. Cheers :)

I'm in my final year of a nursing degree at Sydney Uni and I study full-time. I'm really passionate about what I'm learning and encountering in nursing and can't wait to join the field. I grew up on a property in Berry NSW so I know a bit about gardening and love animals. It's been a good day for me when I've enjoyed a coffee or beer with friends, listened to a riveting podcast or read for pleasure. I've lived the share house life for a few years now both in Canberra and Sydney so understand the importance of being a kind and considerate housemate who shares the various responsibilities of a household. At my current place the lease is ending and we are going our separate ways. My housemates are all 30+ years and despite our age gap we have lived harmoniously for 12 months :)

I keep things neat and tidy, especially the kitchen. Love animals of any kind. Always up for a Netflix marathon especially if chocolate is involved.

Hello! My name is Christina, I currently live in Stanmore but the owner of the house is selling up so now looking to find somewhere else to live. I am studying graphic design and working at a theatre. I think I'm great to live with because I'm a quiet person but also social. I'm very clean, considerate and easy to live with. I'm creative but not flaky and have a pretty busy lifestyle between working and studying. I have a preference to living in the inner west of Sydney. The owner is selling the property I'm currently living in which is why I'm looking to find somewhere new to live. I look forward to meeting you! Best wishes, Christina
