I'm a paramedic student looking to move into the inner west early next year after living in the blue mountains my whole life. Im easy going, very relaxed and love a chat. i will probably spend the weekends at the beach or relaxing at home. Im considerate and enjoy a tidy house. I enjoy being social and am happy to relax with wine at the end of the day! I do have a small dog, a pug named Pippa, I would love to bring her with me but I am also able to leave her at my parents house if the property isn't suitable for her.
Hey there!! I'm an American backpacker currently on a gap year before I attend university in 2018 back in the States. I'm visiting Australia on a working holiday, and as of writing this am travelling down the well-beaten backpacking trail from Cairns to Sydney! I'll first end up in Sydney at around the middle of November, where after a couple of days to decompress I'll start looking for jobs and a place to live if I haven't found one yet! I should have a couple of weeks left on my bedhopper hostel pass to get me through to the very beginning of December. I plan on working over the summer from approximately the end of November to the middle of March, and it's during those three-to-four months of time that I'm looking for somewhere to stay. I'm looking to bartend ideally (although if push comes to shove I'm not picky), so I might come home at odd hours (although I'll absolutely be as quiet and respectful of your sleeping schedule as is humanly possible). I'm primarily looking to save heaps of money over the summer with access to an amazing city to explore (hence why I'm trying to beat the odds and do so in Sydney as opposed to a cheap town somewhere), so I won't be keen on more than the odd night out, which would make me a pretty easy-going and low-maintenance, albeit nocturnal, roommate. Would be much more a fan of board games and drinks on a night in with friends. I'm also trying to learn to cook as best as I can (that's one of my summer goals!), so if you're good with trying a variety of potentially-terrible-but-hopefully-brilliant dishes and dealing with strange smells as I furiously clean the kitchen to get rid of them as I get better at my craft, we'll make a wonderful team :) I consider myself a very clean, chill, and diligent person that would make a lovely addition to practically any group as long as you're keen to have me. My preferences with regards to roommates are around the ages of 18-25ish, clean, looking to talk and hang out (I'd love to be your friend especially considering my social contact is limited to other transient backpackers and my 14-time-zone-away friends at home), and respectful. I'm one of the most laid-back people you'll ever meet for 99% of things, and flexibility is also something that I appreciate in others. Bonus points if you're into indie rock, scary movies, or romantic comedies as those are my three culture passions! Otherwise--I'm a cat lover, wannabe writer, music maniac, budding globetrotter, tea fanatic, and avocado addict who would love to meet you and see if I fit into your place!
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE MESSAGING! We are a GROUP OF 5 university students who are looking for a place with 3 bedrooms to move into as of early January 2019. Our max budget is $800 per week for all 3 bedrooms, INCLUDING BILLS. We will also need basic furnishing such as beds and a refrigerator as well. We will all be studying full time as well as working. *(FYI: Just here for research at the moment, not looking to move until March 2019)* I'm a "late 30-something" man/guy/dude who is looking to move in March 2019. I work full time for a trade union, Mondays to Fridays, doing the 9-5 thing and like having low key evenings at home although don't mind the occasional movie/pub meal during the week. I like going to the party rather than bringing it home, although I do like entertaining friends over dinner or drinks at home. I'm clean, tidy, hygienic, and am not (currently) hosting any alien plagues/beings. I'm reliable and responsible with rent/bills/groceries/dishes/taking the bins out, etc. I'm also sociable and funny, and don't mind having a chin wag but also like my own space and quiet time. I love cooking (when I'm not exhausted) and sharing a meal once in a while. I'm all about personal responsibility, mutual respect, and open communication between housemates and would like to live in a place i call home rather than just rent a room in a house. Most importantly, I am house-trained and not a dickhead.
The house is a very spacious and recently renovated. There is a big kitchen, living room with bathrooms both upstairs and down stairs. Fantastic Location! Only 3 minutes walk to Lewisham train station (less than 15 minutes to Central) and right beside a bus stop which goes to Campsie area and the opposite side goes to city. There is also light rail and the house is just down the street from bus stops which take you straight into Newtown. Right around the corner from Petersham TAFE. Rent will be negotiable depending on which room you take. Only looking to lease five of the rooms available. Looking for students or professionals that want to be near the city without the price tag. Price listed are for 1 person to occupy the whole room. detailed pricing available upon inspection for couples to stay in the same room (some rooms are massive!)
I'm a chef working for a catering company, want to move closer to work. Lived in Sydney for the last 4 years and grew up in Newcastle. Friendly, silly and creative but enjoys the quite as well. Looking for an unfurnished room and a place to call home not just a space to sleep.
Brand new, modern two bedroom two bathroom apartment. Spare large bedroom room with own bathroom. Apartment is fully furnished with appliances etc.. you will need to furnish your bedroom and bring your own crockery and utensils. Looking for a female easy going, tidy, considerate house mate. Non smokers. Female only. Bus stop is on Old Canterbury road 2min walk, train station 4min walk @ Lewisham station. Light rail is right behind the apartment, 2min walk. IGA superstore in Summer Hill is 4min drive, 10min walk.
I'm Ruth, a young professional who has recently moved from Adelaide to Sydney for work. I'm a fun and motivated young person, working in the Community Services Sector, coordinating some pretty awesome projects! Work keeps me pretty busy during the week and outside of work I enjoy relaxing. I love camping, hiking, exploring Sydney and catching up with friends!! I currently am looking for a share flat/house. I'm down for hanging out for a chat (or the glass of wine), but also enjoy my own space to relax, where you'll find me watching Netflix or reading a great book. Cats/dogs trigger allergies, which means I am looking for a pet free place to live. If you think we would be a great match, send me a message so we can organise an inspection :)
I consider myself a cleanly and pleasant person, more quiet than not. I'm an 18 year old part time full time employee and I enjoy art and music, as well as a variety of other creative media's. I don't mind loud music of the afternoons every now and then and enjoy quiet ones, I really like tea and books. I'm not too sure what to put here, but asides from that I do my best to make sure I'm out of the way of other people in the house and keep up with my part of the work. I'm moving from Canberra to Sydney for study and will be looking to enroll once I have established a place to stay. I have a guaranteed part-time/full-time job on arrival.
I am looking to relocate in Sydney sometime early next year. Looking to share with one to two females that are tidy, easy going, respectful and down to earth. I'm quite new to Sydney so still getting to know the areas, but anywhere that has easy access to the city is preferable! I am easy going, down to earth, and always clean up after myself. I work in fashion and study fashion design, and I love the beach, fitness, and listening to music.
Hello. My name is Munny and I'm 24 years old. Moving from Toronto to Sydney for a new job opportunity and I'm looking for a place to stay. Like to stay healthy and active and want to explore the city.
Hi All. I am Kin from Hong Kong. I will stay in Sydney for my master degree in USYD. I am interested in scuba diving and photography. Nice to meet you!
We are moving to Sydney as we have both been offered new jobs. I will be working as a food product development manager and Adam will be working as a professional photographer. Adam is very funny and I'm not funny at all but I make up for that by laughing a lot. I used to be a chef so nothing makes me happier than a spotless kitchen and Adam likes to garden and fix things (he's really amazingly handy!). We’d prefer to live in a house with a little garden so Adam can put his green fingers to work. We both love dogs and are very easily won over by pet owners. We are both non-smokers and very responsible drinkers.
Im an Aussie, who has been living and working around Australia and the world. I am into healthy living - meditation and yoga. I love nature, the beach, Im a foodie and love board-game nights! Im not a party-girl, I like my own space and respect others but do like to sometimes share meals, Netflix, chats/laughs and board-games with my housemates. My current work is stable, with the State Government working on Multiculturalism in NSW. I have family in the suburbs of Sydney so on the weekends I am visiting them, doing volunteer work with young people in Redfern, travelling or at the beach!
Huge, charming and fully furnished 3br, 2 bathroom house sharing with just one other (one bedroom is spare). It's on a quiet leafy street on the Lewisham/Petersham border, minutes from train station, buses, restaurants, pubs and shops (the famous Portuguese tart bakery is dangerously close). The house is older style with lots of character, high ceilings, fireplaces, separate lounge, dining room, big open kitchen, back verandah, a basement ("the dungeon"), a second bathroom downstairs, and a huge backyard big enough to land a small plane. Your bedroom is large and lovely (apx 4m x 4m) with high ceilings, polished floorboards, a fireplace and stained windows. It also doesn't share any common walls and is away from the other occupied bedroom. There’s currently some furniture in the room which you’re welcome to use or it can be removed. (The rent is actually $393pw but I'm flexible for the right person who doesn't have the budget :-) ) As there’s just two of us we can make things up as we go, but I prefer a clean, tidy relaxed home with open communication; where friends/family are welcome but we respect each other’s space/privacy. I’m not a big TV watcher, I do my bit for the environment ie recycle what I can, conserve power etc without chaining myself to trees...

I am a 25 year old engineer (with social skills 😮😂) looking for a teamup for a longer term rental in the inner west from January. I love exploring and trying new things! I'm a relaxed guy, who respects peoples personal space. At the same time I am keen to hang out, have a beer/coffee and a chat/banter. I am a pretty clean and organised guy. I lived in the same room with two other guys for a semester in uni, and none of us killed each other. So I must be pleasant to live with haha. I have a solid full-time job as a Civil Engineer so you don't have to worry about me not paying rent on time. I usually work 7-5 Mon-Friday, with the occasional night shifts. I like to cook, mainly when I can collaborate with others, and I make some bomb ass pancakes 🥞. I'm really into my sports, mainly football (soccer) and basketball, also a bit into tennis and golf. I love to adventure and experience as much of my city as possible, such as live gigs, new parks, cafes, and bars, and also like to roadtrip when I can, my car is kitted out for it! If you've made it to the end, congratulations, I hope I seem like a good housemate, I think I will be! 😊
Enjoy living in a massive house, a super convenient location and with housemates who think they're funnier than they actually are. Our house is really big, with two living rooms, two bathrooms, four bedrooms and an open-plan kitchen. We have a gigantic garage, on-street parking and a lovely courtyard. We're a 3 min walk from Lewisham Station and a 5 min walk from Parramatta Road buses and Taverner's Hill light rail station. The room on offer is large enough for a double bed, wardrobe and desk. Ideally we'd like someone to stay until the end of the lease (until December 2019) but we're open to a three month candidate who was willing to stay until the end of February. Singles preferred but couples are still welcome to apply.
Hey, I'm looking to move into a sharehouse in the Petersham/Lewisham/Summer Hill area. I have lived in various sharehouses in Canberra but am new to renting in Sydney. I work full-time as a lawyer and enjoying cooking for people.
Professional gay male and his trusty dog Gus looking for a place to settle back into Sydney after 5 years living in the Northern Territory. Me - 40yo man, professionally full-time employed, tidy and easy going. Love to socialise with friends and family and enjoy a beer and a chat with almost anyone. Gus is a 4yo Bull Arab X who loves both dogs and people. He is well behaved and acts more like my child than a dog most of the time. He is a big softie just like his owner. We come as a great team and are looking for the right person and the right place.
