The Apartment: Pretty much a brand spanking new apartment built in the last 3-4 years. The complex is called Luna by Meriton (go on their websites and you can see photos of the facilities) and ours is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. There is the possibility of leaving the room furnished but that is something I have to further discuss with my current housemate. Facilities includes: Pool Sauna Gym Spa BBQ Area(s) Location: Ideal location for public transport with the light rail station visible from the balcony, the Lewisham train station is a 6 minute walk and a bus stop right outside the complex. Ashfield is a 5 minute drive where you can go for yummy asian eats and Newtown and Enmore are just 2 train rides away for all your nightlife needs. The Situation: My current housemate is moving to Perth for work in 3-4 weeks and will be leaving his large bedroom + ensuite vacant. This happens to coincide with the lease end date, so the future tenant will be simply required to send a rental application to Meriton and we'll put your name on the lease. No need to compete with other applicants! The application will be required to be completed 2 weeks prior the end of the lease.
Hi. I am looking for a single room and is MAXIMUM 3 MIN WALK to station or bus stop. My budget is MAXIMUM $200 per week including all bills. Thanks.
Tristan and I are moving from Melbourne to Sydney, and would love to team up with another couple and share an amazing place close to the city. I'm 24 and currently working as a Marketing Coordinator for an executive recruitment agency. I'm also studying my masters of marketing part time online. Tristan is 22 and has recently been accepted into the University of Sydney to complete his masters of physiotherapy (hence the move). We're both very outgoing, clean and organised people. We can't wait to experience the social side of Sydney, visiting all the best cafes and restaurants.
I'm Alex, a friendly, easy-going Perth boy moving to Sydney at the start of March to study a Masters at the Conservatorium of Music. I need a place to stay for about two months while I'm looking for something more permanent. I'm generally quite down to earth, very tidy and will respect the space I find myself in. Happy to share chats over wine or find some shared interests on Netflix but equally would be quite content keeping mainly to myself. I'm very big into arts and culture, film, theatre, fashion and music (I study classical music, so that's my area of expertise, but I also try and diversify what I listen to!). Ideally I'm looking for a cute place with likeminded, chilled out people.
Super fun but quite and tidy! I am an art lover and full time worker. So I will be at home just for sleeping and cooking time to time :) I prefer an apartment instead of a house ( sorry couldnt handle with all the spiders and bugs) Clean, tidy, organized, furnished place would be great! I have been living in different countries for studying so have the experience with crazy student flats but looking more calm place this time. I am a non-smoker, LGBTQ friendly, cat lover..
Hi! My name is Talvi and I'm looking for a room for myself, for a long term stay of 6 months or more. I'm 32 and I work for a small business making custom curtains and blinds. Currently I'm living in Homebush West, where I've been renting for about 1.5 years now with a lovely couple who are sadly moving overseas in a few months time. A quiet and relaxed household is what I'm seeking, without constant parties etc - but I like to have a friend over for dinner occasionally on weekends. I'm a pretty friendly, gentle and chatty person, happy to hang out with housemates, or do my own thing. I like to keep my living space clean and tidy, and always help to keep shared areas in the same condition. I'm not a smoker, and don't have any pets. I'm a bit of a geek and enjoy computers and gaming, and love my sci-fi TV shows - but I'm quiet and always enjoy these with headphones! On work nights I'm pretty chilled, on weekends I'm usually out with friends - I'm also open to sharing a meal and a drink with housemates too. For inspections I can make evenings from Monday to Thursday after I finish work, or anytime of the day or evening on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. If we met for an inspection and found things agreeable I'm also prepared to immediately transfer a bond or security payment, and advance rent as required. My maximum budget including bills is $250 pw.
I’m looking for a place fairly close to Sydney CBD with a private room and my own bathroom. A bit about me: I work in Darling Harbour and have been living in Sydney for the past 6 months (I'm from the US on a 457 and can show proof of a long-term job contract). I've been living in shared housing for the last 10 years so I'm pretty set in wanting a place that is kept clean and relaxing. Always happy to do some weekend activities together, but comfortable doing my own thing as well - usually reading, watching Netflix, or trying a new restaurant. I’m fine with having guests over semi-regularly, but I’m not interested in living with a couple.
Hi my names Patrick and i'm a first year apprentice chef. I've lived on the Central Coast all my life and just accepted a job offer at a restaurant in Chippendale. I'm fairly poilite and courteous of shared living spaces. I like to keep neat and tidy Cooperative, Friendly, Respectful, Trustworthy, Easy Going I don't mind making a large batch of meatballs or spaghetti for everyone to share. I don't have any allergies or dietaries. I don't have any lounge sharing furniture, only my own queen bed, desk and chest if draws.
I'm living on the Central Coast at the moment and working fulltime in North Ryde and starting part time study at Sydney University in March. Looking for somewhere south of the bridge with good access to public transport. Big fan of reading, art, music and cooking. I'm also a big film buff so be prepared for offers of movie nights! I'm social person and won't pass up the opportunity to hang out with flatmates but also am equally as happy doing my own thing.
We are graduate students and close friends, nice to meet you!. We are looking for a home better close to the rail station. Have an car garage.
My name is Carol-Ann I am 26 working full time as an accountant (that does not mean that I am dull ;P) I am originally from Scotland but have been in Sydney for the past 3 and a half years. Love it here! Was originally a northy when I arrived but in the past year I moved into inner west and have been loving it! I am a tidy and respectful person. I really do not want to move into somewhere unless I feel that I can hang out once in a while with my flatmates. I love being active. I go running once a day or some kind of exercise. Do a bulk cook about once a week. I recently joined a community garden.
I've just finished school and about to start the next step in my life. I'm currently working and just really enjoying life at the moment. I'm pretty easy going and just a generally chill person.
We are two best friends from the Central Coast looking to move closer to the city to find full-time work. We are easy-going and like to have fun but we're also respectful. We both consider ourselves tidy and clean and understand the importance of this in a share house environment.
Hey I'm Corey, I have recently moved to sydney and am working full time. Im an outgoing person, who loves to cook a mean feed (happy to share), and down for a cheeky drink or two. Fun and easy going, just looking for a great new place to call home.
Hey, I'm a 26 yr old postgrad researcher at Sydney Uni, my research looks at how the Great Barrier Reef has responded to past climatic changes. I also do some teaching at Sydney Uni. I've lived in a bunch of share houses so I know the in's and outs of communal living, I am clean, respectful of others and enjoy hanging out with my housemates. I have lots of indoor plants and I'm keen on gardening/veggie patches! I'm looking for a nice home with good people that is long term + 6 months but a year is better :)) . In terms of rent - I am working and on a scholarship so I have reliable income! :-)
Hi I'm Milly, I'm 25, I work part-time, I love cooking, reading, hiking, listening to true crime podcasts. I'm a great housemate cause I like cleaning and I mainly socialise out.
Hi there! Are you looking for an easygoing, clean and considerate housemate? I might fit the bill! I am a lover of food, animals, art theatre, music, plants and have studied photography. I like my own space but also very happy to socialise, go out for a drink or watch Netflix. Although I haven’t technically house shared before at Uni I stayed at a friends pretty frequently and there were 4 of us! Ideally I would love a pet friendly abode as I hope to continue foster care for RSPCA. If you think we may get along don't be afraid to send a message :)

Isabella is a recent graduate from Sydney working at a pottery studio. Lucas is from Madrid (but speaks fluent English) and is moving to Australia with hopes to work as a web developer. We both love reading, traveling, eating good food and discussing podcasts. We're both tidy and looking for a place with friendly flatmates who'd be up for sharing a meal or a drink after work.
