Hi, I'm an Intern Doctor starting at Lismore Base Hospital in the coming weeks. I am looking for interim accommodation before I need to move offsite for a placement. I am quiet, will be very busy with work and trying to stay active and love to cook!
Hi! Looking for a few friends or just one other to rent with, will be new to the area. I work as a nurse and write in my spare time. Often keep to myself in my bedroom or I enjoy exploring the outdoors. Healthy eater, need a good kitchen. Have 2 dogs, one medium/small and one small. Both very sweet puppies that I take for regular walks so they aren't hyperactive or cause trouble. I don't party much , the odd social drink every now and then. Very respectful housemate and tidy! :)
Hello there, my partner and I are volunteering at a farm animal sanctuary in Lismore east. Previously from Melbourne we are looking for a place to call home. I am a qualified chef and Emma studied philosophy of science and has been a tutor at Melbourne university. I am originally from New Zealand so I laugh at my own jokes and have a dorky smile on my face almost at all times. Emma is similar but has an old timer dad vibe and is super good at guitar and is also pretty AND smart. Pick us to be ur flat mates cause Emma makes the best hummus. X
Myself and my partner are looking for affordable accommodation preferably in Ballina, Lismore or Goonellabah. We are both active, friendly and easy going people. I am a student currently studying my Certificate 4 in Veterinary nursing but am also seeking part-time work in the area. I absolutely love animals and it has always been my dream to turn my passion into a rewarding career. My partner has been working in Brisbane for the past year as a apprentice tiler but would like to move back to the area, closer to family and friends. We love a good chat but we will also respect your privacy. We are happy to assist in house chores and can cook and clean for ourselves. Thank you for your consideration :)
Clean, quiet, good humoured and very easy going. Drug free and minimal alcohol. I'm studying Vis Arts at SCU and working full time over the summer break/ part time during semester. Looking for chilled, interesting, stress free people share with.
I'm 18, a full time student at Southern Cross University and I work 3 jobs so I'm fairly busy a lot. I'm Looking for people around my age to live with, as I need to be closer to work and university. I'm a fun and outgoing girl, I'm always up for making new friends :) Send me a message if you're interested in living with me!
I'm looking to find a long-term home at least a year or longer, if all works out well. I'm definitely into calm and quiet in my home environment. I'm not a party animal, although I do enjoy relating with people when it happens, and having thoughtful and thought-provoking conversations. But basically I'm quite self-contained, independent and enjoy being quiet. Re shared areas; - I believe I'm a very considerate, aware and respectful sharer of space. I leave the most minimal footprint possible and clean up as immediately as possible after creating food in the kitchen. As far as my life style/interests are concerned: I'm a teacher who recently retired from working with Indigenous adolescents in central Australia for several years, and before that in Wilcannia and northern NSW. I've just been accepted into a Dru Yoga Teacher Training course; I attend two Dru yoga classes a week. I'm a regular volunteer at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina (one or two shifts a week) I'm a creative who delights in the aesthetic in all aspects of living. I'm a keen gardener and enjoy planting food, herbs and flowers. I love eating good food and cooking, particularly different ethnic foods. I guess if I were asked to encapsulate what I love and believe in, one word would have to be *diversity* and one concept would have to be *unity in diversity*. I'm a traveller and a seeker and always will be. Suffice it to say I can wax lyrical about things I feel passionate about, and act upon them as well.
Right in the middle of Lismore, walk to shops, pubs, hospital, TAFE. The house is a cute old Queenslander style with beautiful polished floors. These are not used very much by the current housemates as we both have quite large spaces of our own.

I'm looking to move back to the Lismore area, currently unemployed looking for full time work. I'm easy to get along with, I pay my rent and bills on time. I'm friendly, I tend to stick to myself and do my own thing. Looking for a granny flat or something similar as I like my own space.
I will be moving up from Victoria to start work in Lismore in early Feb. I am looking for a place shorter-term before my girlfriend moves up a few months later - we will find our own place then if you prefer not to have couples in the house. I have lived in share houses before and always clean up after myself and am happy to do jobs around the place as needed. I would prefer to live with other people in their 20s or early 30s who are reasonably social and don't mind going out for the odd drink.
Easy going, full time PhD student at SCU Lismore campus. I am from Malaysia but i am well traveled and communication is not a problem with me. I like to cook, travel and am a fan of live music. I like to cook, garden, do yoga and read. I'm a light smoker (in the process of quiting) so hopefully you will be cool with that. Looking for a partially or fully furnished room in a sharehouse (preferably). Looking for a great house with friendly people, preferably somewhere near CBD or square.
Hi, I'm Lucy. I'm 22 years old and moving to Lismore in January 2017 to start work as a registered nurse (which will involve shift work). I'm an easy-going and friendly individual and love the outdoors, games and sports (including netball and basketball), and socialising with others. Whilst I love social activities, I also appreciate quiet time when I can relax, have a cup of tea and read a book. I'm looking to move into a share house with several other people around a similar age, who are friendly and welcoming.

We are a family from Russia (osteo student, IT-engineer, 4YO boy) and we are after tidy non-conflict reliable SINGLE person to share a unit with picturesque view in Lismore Heights. Our place is very light, we have a huge verandah, and unlike other parts of Lismore we never get floods and offer covered carpark (prevents your car from hail damage). All bills and unlimited internet included. Room is furnished with a wardrobe, desk, lamp and bed (single or queen for your choice), can be unfurnished. Ground floor parking spot + locked storage. All utilities (fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, vacuum, printer, scanner, kitchenware, linen etc.). Security deposit 600$+ 2 weeks board to be paid on beginning of occupancy. Candidates need to provide information about source of their income, reason to move from a previous house, preferred moving date and duration of stay. Lovely quiet street just a quick walk to Lismore CBD. Big garden, including veggie patch, lots of relaxed space for contemplation. The house has wood floors throughout, is fully furnished and kitchen is equipped with gas stove and almost everything you need + space for your stuff. Friendly housemates and friendly neighbours- keep to yourself or get to know a great bunch of folks. There are also furnished spare rooms for your short-stay guests.
I have just reduced the price of this room from $210 to $190 to make it more affordable. The room is a good size and has two windows which get the lovely morning sun (so cooler in Summer) and breeze from the river. There is a ceiling fan and queen sized bed. Unlimited wifi, electricity, water and yard maintenance are included in the rent. The house is newly renovated so everything is fresh and clean and has polished wood floors. The lounge has a reverse cycle aircon. There is also storage under house if needed and off street parking. Outside smoking is fine. I have a little cat called Pequena. There is also a sleepout room which we can share for guests or whatever and is cool and breezy in the arvos. The house is about a 7 minute walk to the heart of town, close to shops and public transport. I hold the lease so you would not be on the lease but I require references and normal lease terms to be agreed upon. The expectations are just normal good manners, open communication about house issues and rent paid on time. If you would like to bring your own furniture I can remove the furnishings from the room. I have just bought a little plunge pool to beat the heat! Look forward to meeting you and happy hunting.
It's a gorgeous home with timber floors, air conditioning, renovated bathroom, modern design kitchen, big backyard, veggie garden, close to uni, carport space, space for office, the landlords are awesome and so is the gardener! I eat meat so that doesn't bother me if you do. I don't drink alcohol or take drugs or smoke and I will only share with someone else who is the same in this regard.
I have lived in share houses before. I am neat and respectul of other people and their property. I like the common areas clean and do my share to keep it so. Im a big lad (Im the guy on the right) and I have been living in the area for some time, only moving out due to my current residence will no longer be a share house. I work at Lismore Workers Club
The house is a cute weatherboard home with good surrounding neighbors. The local shops, doctors surgery and Southern Cross University are all within walking distance with the town center only a short 5 minute drive away. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 with built in wardrobes (my room and a spare), and another that has been converted into a study/lounge room. The kitchen has everything you'll need including a spare smaller fridge. It is quite a decent sized block of land with a big backyard and a sizable deck with a BBQ and firepit.
FLATMATES This accommodation may be well suited to (but not limited to) persons seeking a natural way of life, on a 15 acre property, just minutes’ drive to Lismore and Goonellabah. We have a room available for long or short term rent. The room is comfortable, fresh with built-in wardrobes and a north facing window overlooking a dam. Surrounded by lush lawn, gardens, and pasture, with cool tree shaded areas to relax in. Clean Bathroom (shared between Guests), large lounge / TV room and large modern country kitchen with open plan dining + TV entertainment area. We are a clean living, non-smoking, wholefood eating quiet couple, growing our own real food, and living naturally. The property may be suitable for pets (via individual assessment). You will need your own transport. (School bus available on school days only via 300 meter walk to bus stop) 30 minutes to cycle to the nearest shopping center. If you're a keen gardener (and like to eat home grown veg), you are welcome to participate in our gardening projects. We may be able to dedicate a garden space to you if you want your own. The garden has about 30 fruit trees and vines. A sense of community is encouraged, however if you prefer to keep to yourself this will be respected and welcomed. The room is large enough to make a very private abode, with a very comfortable queen size bed, there is space desk and a comfortable chair (bed only provided). The room is also very quiet and cool, with a north facing window and insulation to external walls and ceiling. NBN Wi-Fi available. This may also suit persons wanting to keep a horse; we have yards, secure fencing and good pasture - this will be by individual negotiation. We are close to town, but enjoy all the peace and tranquility of the country. Distance to: 5.5 KM to Goonellabah Shopping Center. 7.5 KM to East Lismore Shopping Center. 8.5 KM to Southern Cross University. 9 KM to Lismore CBD. 9 KM to Lismore Square. 11 KM to beautiful Marom Creek Falls for clean swimming and relaxation 35 KM to Ballina Beaches 53 KM to Byron Bay
Self contained granny flat located in lined and insulated shed. Very quiet bush location no close neighbours to property. Wildlife includes koalas, bush turkeys, goannas, wallabies and many other native birds and animals. You will require transport. 15 minutes drive from Lismore and Southern Cross University campus. Wireless NBN available if you wish to connect, alternatively internet access via mobile. Reasonable use electricity included in the weekly rent. The accommodation is private and self contained this is not a shared house situation. Three rooms: upstairs bedroom living room; downstairs bedroom /kitchen /living room and bathroom/laundry plus one undercover car park in front of the accommodation. Kitchen utensils, cook top, TV, old refrigerator, washing machine, queen bed, desk and chairs. Located on a working cattle farm, one large friendly ridgeback also lives here. Would suit a retired farm worker or someone interested in cattle. Previous rental reference required. (References/reviews regarding the quality of this accommodation are available on request, I have hosted many HelpX visitors.)
Brand new home to share with my sister and myself. We are both active and work full time. Walking distance to Wollongbar TAFE and bus stop very close by. Located in a quiet street. We have 1 female blue heeler with a gentle nature. She is an inside/outside dog. Unfortunately we don't really want anymore dogs to reside with us. 2 rooms are available, both furnished with a bed and built in robe but no drawers. We would prefer someone around our own age (25-35ish), who has a healthy lifestyle, who likes their own space and is clean and tidy. No smoking (in the house), or drugs. Bills are included in rent.
This is a 14 acre property under a conservation agreement, regenerating native habitat, particularly for koalas, but many other native animals. The rental price includes utilities - electricity, water, gas and NBN internet connection. I am looking for someone who would like to spend at least a year living here, but will consider 6 months as a minimum. If you are successful in an initial text and phone conversation, I would insist on meeting in person to ensure we both feel comfortable with each other. Of course by then you would be just hanging out to see the house and property for yourself :) This is a rare opportunity for a lady who has always wanted to be involved with conserving nature, but cannot afford to buy their own property. You will live on a beautiful property, 15 minutes from Lismore, in a modern house with full facilities. As a share house you will be expected to share the housework and some garden work (there are many beautiful flower/herb/vege garden areas), as would be expected if we were renting a place together.

Hey there! I'm looking for accomodation for myself and my girlfriend, we're both really down to earth people who are open to meet new people and experience living in a share house with other flat mates. We like to socialise with others as well as having our own down time Love animals and would love to potentially move into a place with people who have pets! We are tidy and respectful of other peoples items and space and we are excited to see what opportunities this could bring us!
Canadian couple, super easy going and friendly! Love sharing life experiences and lots of laughs!! I love cooking and Nelson love to eat!! Help us to find our next lovely place to stay!!!
Hello! I'm easygoing, enjoy seeing live music, grabbing a beer at the pub, spending time at the beach, travelling, yoga, reading and writing, I'm vegan and love to cook. I have a 3 year old puppy named Jessie. She is an English Staffy x American Bulldog - beautiful dog with a great temperament, loves people and other dogs. Bonus if you own a dog so Jessie has a puppy friend but not necessary! Looking for fun, friendly and laid-back people to live with. Respect for space and privacy are important but I also like chilling/hanging out with my housemates! Would rather something longer term but happy for short term as well. $300 incl bills is my max, ideally love something a bit cheaper though! Cheers!
We are moving up from Tasmania and looking for like minded people to share a house with :) we are easy to get along with, love chilling out with our dog, playing guitar, listening to music and going for walks or bike rides. We aren't party animals but we don't mind a drink every now and then. We plan on studying at Tafe and Uni and finding casual work. We are clean, respectful and considerate of others. We have a beautiful 2 1/2yr old American staffy, so dog/animal friendly people would be great! :)
My soul is calling me to move further south (currently based on property in the Gold Coast hinterland). I am looking for a unfurnished studio/granny flat/1 bedroom place Or shared accommodation with a option of a second room with a office in northern nsw from mid march onwards. I am open to a lot of areas, even farming. So please contact me with whatever you got, budget can be stretched for the right place, with good energy. I am drug free and alcohol free and I work from home as a psychic medium, healer also currently studying astrology. I know and understand what I do isn't every bodies jam and that's totally ok I take no offends. 95% of my clients are international over Skype and FaceTime which requires someone respectful of what I do and NBN to make this business happen. I also occasionally use singing bowls that do make noise so it would awesome to live with someone who understand and is ok with a little extra sound vibrational healing and can read clients till 10pm at night which is why a office behind a closed door is perfect. Little bit more about me, I'm 31 and I enjoy making pizza, acai berry and Buddha bowls (you will be well fed around me it's my mothering side) good company, reading, clean and tidy but not anal, I am also very tech savvy so a hippy nerd even lol. I have a blue card to work with children not a posed to living with them and I love and adore animals (so something's with horses or farming would be epic #justsaying) I enjoy doing washing (I know what a weirdo right?) dishes not so much (high five to the person who invented the dishwasher) I am vegetarian and no diary since Oct but don't expect anyone to eat the way I unless you eat maccas chicken nuggies in front of me I'll legit slap them tastey balls of happiness out of your fingers and fight you for them. #missnuggies. I also have my fur soulmate in the shape of almost 8 year old shar pei called Olly monster the wrinkle dog of happiness AKA Olly. He is 70-80% blind but with the most beautiful nature. House trained and obedient. Fine with children just not super keen on other dogs. So sharing with other dogs is kinda not gonna happen. *sad panda* I have references for myself and Olly as we are a package deal. A pretty awesome one at that. I have loaded some pictures of myself and who I am so you can get a real feel for who I am and see if I a line with you. Any questions please pm me. May the force be worth you and if you made it to the end bless you *high five*. ❤️
Beautiful 3 bedroom home in central Ballina. Walking distance to shops and gym. It has a spacious, low maintenance yard with furnished undercover BBQ area. Your bedroom has its own built in wardrobes roughly 3.5m long. Inside each bedroom has its own ceiling fan as well as a split system A/C in the living area with enough capacity to cool/heat the entire house. Living room has an extremely comfortable lounge to enjoy and tv has ps4 with Netflix that you would be more then welcome to use. Bathroom has both a bath and separate shower and the kitchen has a spacious pantry and fridge for whatever your culinary preferences may be. Garage space open for discussion with right person. Basically its a pretty sweet house. If you want any photos just message me and we can sort it out :)
