The apartment is an two bedroom luxury apartment developed by award wining architects, Bunchan. So it will just be me and you in the apartment :) I will already have the apartment fully furnished so all you will need to bring will be your own things for your bedroom room. I will be setting up internet and so forth and we can just half the cost of that. I fell in love with the location!! As it has easy access to the Brisbane CBD, the Lutwyche public transport terminal, local cafes, shopping centres and although it is closes to everything the street both peaceful and connected.
LOOKING TO TEAMUP AND RENT OUT A MODERN TOWNHOUSE OR UNIT ! I'm a fun bubbly outgoing young gal. Love my own space but then again company and banter is great! I currently live at home with my mother and it's time for me to adventure out there. I currently pay board here and I work a full time job and have my own car. In my spare time I enjoy fitness, the beach hanging with mates and enjoying life. I'm very much a people person so I gel with majority of people!
Work 6 days a week usually as an electrician, generally out of the house during the weekend as well. Respect down time but also don't mind being social. Very clean and tidy.
Hi All, My name is Reece, I'm 27 and looking for a new place in Brisbane. I just finished living in London for 2 years and moving back to Brisbane. At the moment I'm most likely looking for shorter term accommodation as I'm also still looking for work. However for the moment just being close to some kind of public transport will be fine. I've also got enough savings to pay rent until starting work. I like going to see concerts, hanging with friends and hiking in the outside world and generally playing games/binge watching shows when I'm home. I've been living in shared accom for the last 2.5 years so I'm used to keeping tiding and living with a group of people. Preferably looking for something furnished or just with a bed at minimum and internet connection would be great too! Move in date also flexible Cheers!
Hello There! My name is Troy, I'm a 32yr old male and a Full time Professional that works in the Health and Fitness industry with in the Lutwyche area. I'm an easy going guy that spends most of his weekday time at work and at the gym, and weekend time actively out and about mountain trial riding and hanging out with friends, but on the flip side I also love my chill days watching movies. I live a very healthy lifestyle and have had my days in the party seen and very much enjoy my quiet time now, but in saying that I do like to relax and let loose on certain occasions (I'm getting older but I'm not a Mormon! lol). I'm looking for clean, respectful and easy going roommates/roommate to live with in the Lutwyche or surrounding areas. I am very fit and happy to pull my weight around the house with outside and inside work. If your interested in getting to know more, message me and I'll happily reply (-: Look forward to your message!
A writing student nearing the end of his poor life choice of getting a writing degree. Extraordinarily quiet for the most part, you could probably go the entire day without seeing me if you check your corners correctly. But that's most likely the result of me trying to be considerate and not cause any fuss. If you need to talk to me about anything, I'm almost definitely going to be happy to do so. I consider myself a kitchen ghost. Meaning, if I do things right, you won't even know I've been there. I like to clean as I go, and anything I leave out will be gone as soon as I'm finished with it. I love my computer like most people love their limbs. I take him everywhere, and he is unfortunately forced to come with me everywhere even though he could almost definitely do better. Looking to move as soon as possible, but the real final day I have is 18th of July before my current lease ends, which is convenient for this site's whole '30 day plan', so if you're in no hurry, I'm not really in a huge one either, although I do like jumping on things sooner rather than later. I'm not sure what else to say here, honestly. Last housemates I've had have had pretty much no bad experiences with me. You can talk to them if you really want. I mean, I won't leave their numbers here in this box, but if you want them you can totally have them. I know I have at least one of them still. I like video games sometimes. Movies are pretty cool, I guess. These are very general mediums that everyone likes, so I don't know why I'm mentioning them. Just gonna stop talking now. You have yourself a super good day. Additional comments regarding the profile picture: I'm a writer, not a photographer.
The living space is large and is located in an extremely convenient position in Lutwyche. Less than a one minute walk away there is a shopping centre (Lutwyche City), gyms (including Fitness First, Jetts, Snap, F45), pub and a mix of other shops, restaurants and facilities. Also within a three minute walk from the front door is the Lutwyche Bus Station with regular buses direct to the City (10 min), Fortitude Valley (5 min), Kelvin Grove QUT / Normanby (5 min), Royal Brisbane Hospital (5 min), Chermside (10 min), Cultural Centre and more. The Albion train station is only a 15 minute walk. Despite being less than a few minutes walk from all these facilities, the street is quiet and backs onto a lane way which leads to acres of parkland and the Kedron Brook waterway. The Kedron Brook waterway has kilometres of walking and bike tracks. The available room has a key lock and is available furnished or unfurnished. Both the bedrooms and living areas have smoke alarms installed. We have a beautiful kitchen, bathroom and lounge / dining room. There is also a laundry (with washing machine), outdoor back patio and a large, private and sunny back yard with a hammock and barbeque. Rent is $165 per week (includes electricity, gas, water and WiFi internet) and bond is $330. This location would suit anybody who is after a very convenient position close to public transport and the City, Valley or Chermside. Non-smokers only.

Hi! I am an online university student and I work on shift work in hospitality on the North side of Brisbane so really need to be living in a place on the North side. I have a dog, she is a staffy-cross and is just lovely and very well behaved. As for me, I am clean, respectful of other peoples space and am no trouble at all. Love a good chat and a drink but also like my alone time.
Hey, I'm a uni student currently on my second year studying criminology and criminal justice and I work at a bottle shop part time. I'm really easy going and neat and I'm always happy to help out around the house whenever needed. I'm pretty social and I'm always keen for a drink or a chat. I'm currently in a long term relationship, I'm a big fan of music and I love outdoor ed activities like hiking and camping. Looking forward to finding a cool group of people to share a place with.
Hiya. I'm a CBD worker during the week and an adventurer on the weekends. I like sports, music, arts and the outdoors so tend to make the most of my spare time. I've been in share houses for a while so I'm clean, a decent cook and enjoy the social environment. I'm returning from Sydney at the end of June and looking to find a chilled environment. Feel free to ask anything. Thanks!
Well My name is Kris and I am a post grad student. I'm busy most days of the week with uni and work but I don't mind chilling and having a night out once in a while. I love sports and exercises is a must for most days in the week. I like to think of my self as a very clean and tidy person , and always up for helping around the house and sharing chores if need be.
Hey! :) I'm Steph, I'm 29, I work full time and study part time, I'm pretty neat and like a clean and tidy house :) Looking to move anytime over the next few months, no rush but happy to do it asap if i was to find the right roomy :) I'm looking to live either the Northside (Nundah, Aspley, Kelvin Grove, Bridgeman Downs etc - somewhere near The Royal Bris hospital as thats where i work) or even on the Southside (Springfield Lakes, Augustine Heights, Brookwater, Collingwood Park etc - as thats where i am atm). Ok... so I know a lot of people don't wanna live with a kid but honestly, its really no big deal at all. You can still have friends round etc, nothing would have to change i promise! :) My boy is 9 years old, so if you like playing xbox you guys will be best buds lol We also have an indoor ragdoll cat named Alice. Shes like a dog and follows you around everywhere and waits at the door when u get home lol she actually loves dogs too, we used to have a beagle and theyd play fight and snuggle up together :) so cute! So, I'm looking for another person or 2 to get a house together. Obviously we will have to apply for houses so you'd clearly need to be approved on that as well to live there :) You'll need to be reliable and pay rent on time, respectful of privacy, the property and of other peoples things, work and have a stable income, funny, preferably single and around similar age. I'd really prefer a house rather than a unit. It'd be cool if it had a deck and nice yard and undercover parking (lock up garage) would be ideal :) I guess starting off with a 6 month lease would be ideal, then it can always be renewed if we want :) I have all the furniture already, big leather lounge, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine, dryer, foxtel (priorities people!) lol and then plates cups blah blah blah :) you'd only need your bedroom stuff really :) The house would need to have at least 3 bedrooms coz I need my own space too and dont want to crammed into the same room with my son lol so I'd have one, he'd have one and you'd have the other one/two etc :) I'd also be keen for a few drinks on a friday or Saturday night to relax and unwind after a busy working week if you are :) I looooove cooking and literally make the best caramel tarts you'll ever eat (i have references for this lol), im pretty easy going, love a good laugh and have a very sarcastic sense of humour. So you'd definitely have to be funny, easy going, down to earth and be able to take a joke lol I love going to the drive in movies, bowling, to the park and the beach and would really love to get a puppy! So if you've already got a dog that's good with kids that'd be awesome! Anyhoo, hope to hear from you soon to organise a day to meet up and see if we connect :)
Hiya all! My partner and I were looking for either a single person or a couple whom we can hope to go for housing applications with. We're looking in Inner Brisbane City Suburbs such as, but not limited too, Indooroopilly, Windsor, Herston, Toowong, Auchenflower, Wilston, and more in a similar vicinity that are within a 5 - 10 minute drive to the CBD. We are looking at houses, apartments, townhouses and keeping our minds open to other kinds of properties. The places we are looking at will be a minimum 2 bed 2 bath (so you will have your own private room and bathroom) and 1 car; whether LUG or a space under the building or carport, but we are avoiding only having access to street parking. THE PROCESS: We would like to meet with you and see if our personalities would mesh well together and discuss what we value in a household to make it run smoothly. We would then be showing you several places we have found in the listed and surrounding areas and seeking if you would be keen to apply to any (with us), if not most for a higher chance of being accepted. We would also be keen to see what you have found and what we could find together to see if perhaps there is something else that suits us more. EXPENSES: BOND - The bond will be split evenly (e.g. a $400/wk place will have 4 weeks bond + 2 weeks rent to equal $2400. If there are three of us, us, two plus you it will be $800p/p, if there are four of us it will be $600p/p. RENT - The rent is indicative of the space used, for example if it is 2 ensuite rooms and the total of the rent is $400 it will be $200/wk/room, NOT per person. So if you come with either a friend or a partner it would be $100/wk/p. The rent is NOT split based off of how many people there are in the household. BILLS - Bills will also be split evenly, e.g. a $300 energy bill split between three people, us two plus you, it would be $100/ea. If there were four people it would be $75/ea. OTHER HOUSEHOLD EXPENSES - Will also be split evenly, though you will be required to keep your own area (your bedroom and bathroom) clean (clean doesn't indicate tidy) and damage free and will be keeping your own cleaning products for those areas in your own space. However, we do require that communal areas, living area, garage, kitchen, laundry, are all kept neat, tidy and clean at all points (that being said, we don't mind if you have a few big nights here and there and take a few extra days to clean it up) NOTE: $400p/wk for rent is a simple example and rent could be more or less depending on what we find) US Him (21) - He works at a bar in Chermside several nights a week usually with the weekends included, he's a bit of a grease monkey and enjoys working on cars so if you or perhaps a friend or partner has a similar interest you would get along swimmingly. Also enjoys fishing, cooking, sleeping and being either incredibly lazy or ridiculously adventurous on his days off, so you will find a bit of both, he's also an incredibly friendly person who can vibe with most people so he wouldn't mind in the slightest if you joined in (but asking first is always polite and something we encourage). Her (19) - I work at a club in the Valley, again usually with the weekends included. As it is a club I often work until the wee hours of the morning wherein the sun threatens the encompassing night, and as such I often sleep until past midday, sometimes late afternoon on the nights after I work so I, along with my partner, would need roommates whom respect this fact. I'm both an introverted and extroverted personality and can be happy spending my time with anyone, but definitely highly value my personal time. I do the majority of the cleaning between the two of us though my partner helps, and he does the majority of the cooking. I also study online. YOU (or perhaps you and your partner/friend) You are someone who has the ability of transparency, someone who when they are faced with an issue does not put off discussing it until they angrily explode at their roommates but who instead is happy to discuss and come to a mutual compromise to ensure a smooth-running, stress-free, happy household. If ever there is any issue we would like you BOTH (if that is the case) to discuss it with the both of us (unless all of our schedules do not allow) to ensure that everyone is on the same page. You are someone who works and has a consistent paycheck, we don't care what it is that you do just that it is regular enough to ensure there is never any issue with rent or bills. We would also prefer a young adult (someone under 30) like ourselves but of course, when it comes down to it, a similar age does not mean a like-minded and good roommate and thus we are happy with anyone (ensuring we all get along). WHAT WE ARE BRINGING The things we own and would be bringing to the household are listed below. Year old washing machine, with good energy and water consumption to ensure savings. 500L Fridge and Freezer combination to ensure all of our favorite foods can be stored safely and happily. (Fridge/Freezer shelves, both the door and main storage will be divided evenly and labelled to ensure no ones food is ever taken by anyone other than those it is for) 4 - 6 Seater Antique circle/oval white-washed table that transforms with the assistance of a leave. Bookcase. Solid Timber white-washed coffee table. Solid Timber TV Cabinet (unfortunately we don't have a TV to go with it just yet) Desk Queen Bed Bedside tables Antique Wooden Chest/Box. 1 Sofa Bed. Lots of colorful tapestries, and one lovely rug. If you have any other questions or perhaps would like to discuss more in-depth on the phone, please feel free to msg me either for more details or my number. (Unfortunately I cannot text on the phone until tomorrow afternoon when the Telstra support team is working to fix my issue, but I can make phone calls.
Hi, my name is Corinna - I'm a 26 year old female. I'm looking to share a house with friendly people who are happy to have a chat. I am a fairly clean/tidy person and am respectful of other people and the communal living spaces. In my job, I don't work standard hours so a loud party house probably wouldn't be the best match. I am really into healthy eating, cooking, and yoga and Krav Maga! My ideal home would have a friendly, low-key and homely atmosphere. Message me if this sounds like you! :)
