I have a lovely ground floor 2 bedroom apartment in Lyons. You will have your own bedroom and separate bathroom. The bedroom (and the rest of the home) has reverse cycle air conditioning/heating, built in robes and a sliding door leading out onto a covered balcony. Double bed, desk and chair in the room if required. The rest of the apartment is fully furnished with a large living/dining area, modern kitchen, European laundry and a large front courtyard. Parking is underground. Very close to Woden town centre and public transport.

Hello! I am a youth worker but usually work a few different jobs to keep me entertained. (at a bit of a career cross road atm actually) I am pretty arty I have a background in photography and I'm starting to learn how to paint. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I am a bit of a neat freak not guna lie! I like a clean non cluttered house with lots of plants! And matching furniture and nice decor matter so much more than it did in my 20s haha. I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans but not essential. Bit of a hippy but the kind that showers. Meaning I am environmentally conscious but not perfect ( I drive a car) Love music and drinking tea ( I come with a large tea collection!) Don't smoke and rarely drink these days but don't care if you do (as long as smoking isn't inside) I've said a 9 month stay but it would most likely be longer, I usually get out of Canberra for some of winter and travel but if I was happy in the place I was living then I wouldn't move out while I traveled. Racists and homophobes need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything : )
Hey I'm Angus, I'm a 25yo medical student mostly based at Canberra Hospital next year. I'm looking to move into an existing sharehouse or also open to joining people on a new lease. I've lived in sharehouses before and like to chill over a few drinks or occasionally have dinner together but also respect others housemates' space and privacy. I'm flexible on move-in dates, furniture, etc and looking primarily around the inner south or near Canberra Hospital.
Hi my name is Brock, I'm 21 turning 22 at the end of November. I have lived in Brisbane my whole life but have to move to Canberra for work related reasons. I will be working on a huge apartment complex in Phillip full time, Monday to Saturday and am currently searching for a place to live close to the construction site. After work I generally like some quiet time and browse the internet and listen to music. I'm easy going and keep to myself but not anti social by any means :)
I'm a Canberra born and bred public servant, love to go out and try new bars/restaurants but also enjoy relaxing at home and catching up on my Netflix shows. Happy to share my account with prospective housemates!
My name is Susan - 27 and working full-time in South Canberra. I am a friendly and tidy housemate, and am hoping to find a place I can call home. I am currently living in Lyons with a couple, until our lease finishes up on 8 November 2019. Things I am looking for in a new place: - Unfurnished room - Housemate/s aged 25-35, working full-time - Walking distance to work in Phillip/Woden - Comfortable and friendly vibe - Off-street parking I also have an IKEA sofa bed, if there is additional space in your living room. Please tell me more about yourself and your place :)
Hi! I'm moving to Canberra in late Jan/early Feb 2020 for a new full time job. I'm looking for other young professionals who are seeking a quiet but friendly household in a modern home - either one that I can join, or one we find together. I'm a fun, independent, and reliable housemate with sharing experience. I appreciate a clean and tidy house with fair cleaning responsibilities, especially in shared areas, but I'm not pedantic and know that life (and long days at work) can get in the way! I don't mind a cheeky class of wine or two and am always up for banter and chats, but also respect space and need it myself sometimes. I love to cook and bake and always make too much, so you'll often get food from me! I also have an xbox and a vinyl record player that I'd be happy to share with the house (as well as a bunch of other furniture and appliances if needed). I have a partner that would visit 1-2 times a month on weekends, but I'm happy to be flexible with timing. I also love pets (especially dogs), so would be more than happy to have one in the house! If you have any other questions or want to know more about me, let me know!
