I'm an Elec Eng student from Adelaide. While in Canberra I'll be working full time for my summer placement. I'm LGBTI+ friendly, and love pets. In my spare time I love to play games (table top and computer), go to live gigs, and be outside and active. I've lived in a house share before, and keep things clean and tidy.
Looking for a room/place for the next 12 months (potentially longer). I’m a registered nurse and spend a lot of time at work, so I definitely like my down time and like few wines here and there. During the winter I head to the mountains and summer i’m usually out and about or heading off on coastal adventures. I enjoy the gym most days and love to cook. I have been house sharing for 8 years so i’m no stranger to it, i’m clean, tidy and respectful.
We're tidy, reliable, and fun to be around. We are both full-time public servants that are relatively new to Canberra. A young(ish) couple that enjoy nature, banter, and the occasional cheeky beverage with housemates. We are very social but also respectful of other peoples' space. We like to spend our nights cooking, socialising, and taking late walks. Discussions about life, the universe, and everything are always on the table.
We’re 4 working professionals (2 couples), who have been close friends for 7+ years. 2 of us are undertaking study on-top of working full-time. We’re looking for a 12-month lease with the option to extend as we are looking for a long-term living arrangement.
I’m an honest, reliable, clean and tidy professional. Pretty relaxed but do prefer a clean home and to share with others who like the common shared spaces to be kept tidy. I’m friendly and quite happy to share a meal or a glass of wine and have a chat on occasion but I like my own space. I’ve shared with 2 girls in their early 20s the past 2 years; it’s been fun to hang out and it’s worked because we respect each other’s privacy and individuality. I am open to sharing with people of any age if they are mature, respectful, trust-worthy, self-aware with a positive, can-do, friendly attitude. Art, hiking, cycling, Pilates, Netflix, great food, coffee and wine, board games, authenticity and honesty are all up there as things I enjoy and value. I’m really looking to live as near to my workplace as possible so Braddon, Reid, Manuka, Kingston, Red Hill, Garran, Griffith are my preferences. $300/week including utilities is my maximum. ** Im looking for a shorterm share of 4 months starting early January (I’ll be housesitting from May 2019)
Clean and tidy. Quiet but up for a chat anytime. Relaxed, considerate and respectful of privacy and personal space. During my free time I enjoy watching tv or Netflix, read, go for a run or just working out at the gym =)
Hi! I'm Alice, 24 years old and recently graduated as a dietitian. I am starting a new full time role in Canberra in Feb! I'm originally from Adelaide but have lived in Sydney for the past 2 years. I love food and cooking, sharing a wine, pets and being active. Super clean and tidy, laid-back and easy going. I enjoy socialising but also happy to spend time alone. Looking for some down to earth flat mates that share similar interests :)
Hi, I'm Riley! I'm moving up to Canberra from Adelaide in early 2019 to work full-time as a legal grad. Ideal move-in date is early-mid Jan, but can be flexible in starting earlier if necessary. I'll be working in Forrest, and am especially keen on places riding distance from there. I love cooking, indoor plants, campy horror, lentils, hiking, and brunches. I'm looking for a relaxed and reasonably social queer-friendly sharehouse where people chat and share a drink or dinner every so often. I'm tidy (used to work as a cleaner and habits stick!) and reliable, but not pass-agg about it. At the moment I’m living with my partner Cam and three other people. Cam will be staying in Adelaide for 2019, however he'll be coming up to visit on weekends a few times a year and for slightly longer periods twice a year during university breaks (he works as an academic). Ideally this would include about 3 weeks in mid Jan-early Feb, but very happy to discuss how this could work. He bakes and makes excellent cauliflower curry and is very good value. Would love to hear from you! Feel free to message or text.

Canberra has got me hooked on latin partner dancing, yeah I didn't see this hobby coming either :p At home, I like to cook with fresh veggies, do yoga and try my hand at gardening.
23 year old female moving to Canberra to start full time work in January at Canberra Hospital. I will also be studying throughout the year, so living with people who respect that would be ideal :) I love sport (particularly cycling and rowing), being active, watching netflix/movies and hanging with friends. I am a very social person and enjoy company but also enjoy downtime and my own space. I should probably mention that my boyfriend lives in Canberra and he may visit 1-2 nights per week
I'm clean, organised and reliable. I enjoy tea, cooking, watching Netflix and badminton. I'm a bit shy, but friendly and happy to chat and hang out. I'm also respectful of our individual space and privacy. I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne to start a full time job in the public sector in January (but moving in late December is also ok for me).
Hi there! We have a large master bedroom with ensuite available for rent in new (and secured) Lyons Apartments for $270 p/w (including water). The room is available 19 December 2018 and comes with a secured basement car spot and storage locker. The complex was built in 2015 (I think!). The apartment is on the third (and top) floor of the complex. It has a spacious kitchen and loads of storage - more than an entire floor to ceiling linen cupboard per housemate. The complex has an outdoor pool and a tonne of visitor parking. Both the bedroom and living areas have high ceilings and down-lights. It is: - less than five minutes walk to Woden government departments - around 8 minutes walk to Woden Westfield. - around 2 minutes walk to the bus stop and - a 15min bus to the city.
Hi, I’m Phoebe. I’m a primary teacher who works hard during the week and I love to socialise on weekends. I’m moving from a regional area in Northern NSW and will be looking for a place from mid Dec or earlier for the right place. Being from the country, I love fresh air and green space and getting out and about. I would prefer to move into an already established house, but would also be happy to team up and get a place. I am a clean and tidy housemate, who lives an active and healthy lifestyle. I love playing hockey and going to the gym! I also don’t mind a cheeky mid-week wine and quality convos. I have a 2 year old miniature dachshund called Edwina. She’s a legend and if you’re a dog person you won’t be able to help but loving her too! We are super easy going and love going for big walks. I’ll be down that way a few times over the coming term so if I sound like I might be a fit for you, let me know and we can meet up over a coffee and a chat!
I am a health professional currently looking for a property and a suitable housemate to share within close proximity to the Canberra Hopital. I am quiet, clean, friendly and hope to share with someone who is similar. I spend most of my time at work or at the gym and enjoying the simple things in life. Ideally looking for a place to live I can call home and feel safe and secure.
I am 40 years old female working full time in public service. My office is located in the city and I am looking for a nice and secure place to stay. I am very neat and tidy person and will promise to look after your property as you required. I am looking for move in as soon as possible. Please get back to me if you have a correct fit. Thank you. Hemani
Hi, I'm an easy going but also shy at first guy who works in childcare and wants a household rather than a group of strangers living together. I like board games and computer games and i like to cook.
A fun, friendly, respectful and clean 23 year old who works full time looking for some awesome and easy going housemates to shack up with! My spare time is spent studying (procrastinating mainly) and hanging out with friends and family.
Looking for a considerate female (working, student or elderly) to share a near new 2 bedroom furnished apartment in Phillip (in a very convenient location), with a friendly postgraduate student in 20's who needs a quiet environment. Rent: $295 per week (include furnished room, own bath, shared kitchen and laundry, water and electricity bills, security access to the building and access to Gym/pool/outdoor entertaining area). Optional: basement parking space $25 per week, Internet (NBN) with unlimited data $5 per week.
Great place to live within walking distance of most places in Woden. 10 minutes walk to the Woden shopping mall, 15 minutes walk to the Department of Health and a 20 minute walk to Canberra Hospital! Brick house with central heating and great insulation during the winter, with plenty of airflow during the summer. Fully furnished living areas with high speed VDSL internet and an unlimited data cap, great for streaming. It's a 3-bedroom house, so if there's two people or a couple looking to move in and take both, I'm open - we'd do an even split of the rent (1/3rd each). Note: I haven't included pictures of the rooms as my flatmate still has her stuff in both (moving out 23/11).
House is spacious, fully furnished and centrally heated. It is close to Woden Plaza and bus interchange. Guests enjoy hanging out together sharing a tv show or time outside in the mature backyard where a BBQ and plastic table and chairs have been set up for informal meals or a quiet drink. Common areas are kept tidy and appliances have been provided for all the comforts of a home away from home. There's security and privacy in lockable single and QS bedrooms for your personal down time, but the house is just a short walk from the Woden precinct. There are cinemas, gyms, shops, eateries and the bus interchange as well as social clubs for when family or friends want to join your for a meal or live show.
I'm a friendly, mature and responsible woman looking for one or more housemates. I don't actually have a place to rent out/share with others at this point - I'm just putting my feelers out to find potential housemates. I would like the company of a friendly and quiet housemate, as I'm looking to move around October-November this year. I would prefer to pay between $150-220 per week, and live in either Woden Valley, the inner south or inner north area. I would also be open to living somewhere in Queanbeyan region for a one bedroom rental in my price range. I am looking for a place that has air conditioning for the summer. I'm very accepting and non-judgemental, as well as being queer/trans/ace friendly. I'd like to live with other LGBT-friendly and open-minded people. I'm fairly quiet and often keep to myself, but enjoy chatting with housemates from time to time. I don't drink alcohol, smoke or party, so I would prefer to live with people who are similar in lifestyle to me. I want to live with people who have good communication skills, and can raise problems directly and honestly. I'm a bit of a night owl as well. P.S. I'm not a vegetarian, and I do eat meat fairly regularly - just thought I'd mention this in case it's a dealbreaker for some people!
My name is Tayla and I am a 21 year old from Bombala NSW. I have recently completed a bachelor of nursing degree and have secured a full time position at The Canberra Hospital which is a 12 month contract. I am an easy going and friendly person who loves to socialise but I also enjoy my personal time as well. I don’t have any pets however I love animals and would not mind having any around. I am extremely clean and tidy. I’m looking to find someone or people who are in a similar position and need someone to rent with for 2019.
Christy and I are early healthcare professionals finally starting our career! We are keen to get started in Canberra come 2019 and finally make a difference. We are not a couple but friends from Sydney. We met each other while we were studying at the Unversity of Sydney. Therefore, we would be looking for two separate rooms. Both of us are clean and laidback but are always up for dinner or a conversation! With that being said, we do respect the privacy of others as we like our own time to ourselves as well. Our budget is 250/week each and hope that we can find somewhere conveniently located near Westfield Woden and Canberra Hospital.
I work full time as a lawyer. I'm vegetarian and I like to cook, swim, try out random classes at the gym, ride my bicycle and go hiking. I also love to watch live sports games and musicals. I always clean up after myself and have experience living with a wide range of different people (one time I lived with 11 other people in an apartment for six months). Pretty chilled out, always happy to chat, hang out or cook dinner together, but also value individual space and privacy.
I'm a registered nurse working for ACTHealth and am looking for a room in a share house near to the hospital. I love dogs, am super clean, friendly and love to bake 😄. You wont see me all that often as I'll either be at work, the gym or sleeping. I am moving from a 12 share dormitory so I know how to live with many people 😊
I’m a full time pube, love the gym but equally love a good beer! Like to socialise but also like to be a hermit and bulk watch tv shows. Preferably queer friendly :) Looking for an unfinished room and somewhere with a garage of shed to store a small amount of camping stuff!
I'm a very polite, quiet person but always down to have a chat if you're up for it. I work in hospitality at a job that I love and study at UC part-time. I enjoy listening to music playing the odd video game and catching up with my friends for a coffee. I always clean up after myself and will always help out where needed. Very tidy and respectful of peoples personal space.
Hello! We are a young couple from Indonesia doing masters at the ANU. We are friendly and easy-going people, hardworking and a bit of obsessed with cleanliness xd so we are always excited whenever we have to do house-cleaning activities (it does help to release stress from uni workload though!). I love cooking and enjoy watching films and reading books, and both of us are great fans of cats :D Always be happy to have nice conversations with everyone about anything. Cheers!
I’m a bubbly creative person and I get along well with others. I don’t do drama and love doggos so if you have a dog that’s not a problem. I’m looking for somewhere in Canberra to live ASAP until after Christmas/start of January so if this is something that would suit you let me know 😊
I'm fairly quiet but I'm always up for a good board game or Netflix binge. I work reception for a physio in the city 4 days a week. I'm not overly active but I do like to do my own thing at the gym or go to a class. I love to show off my cat, Elizabeth. She does not work. She's 13yo and snoozes most of the day. She loves to be around people so having housemates would be really good for her happiness.
Clean and tidy. Love our food. I’m into keeping fit. Do enjoy a few social drinks over weekend and hang around with friends. Respect personal space. Please shoot a message for any questions. Thanks
