Hi! I'm an international student from Singapore, currently studying at ANU. Im looking for a place to rent out near ANU preferably. I am an easy going, pretty chill and friendly person. I am quite particular about cleanliness and keeping tidy. So you can expect me to keep my place very clean and well organised without any clutter of sorts. Not much of a party animal, I much prefer to stay in and read books or have movie marathons. However, i don't mind the occasional fun. I also like to explore new cafes, eateries and sightseeing place and Canberra with my friends. I like to socialise and meet new people but I also greatly value my privacy and time alone. If you think I'm a good fit for your place, feel free to contact me!
Preemptively looking for a new room as the share-house I'm currently in is up for sale. I work full time in the public service and am aiming for somewhere fairly clean, relaxed and close to work. Would also strongly prefer an en-suite or own bathroom, but otherwise am fairly flexible. I mostly just read and watch movies at home, so will generally keep to myself, but do also enjoy the occasional chat/drink/baking session/Netflix binge/games night (and not averse to a good party either if that's your thing)! I'm originally from Melbourne, so would be keen to reconnect with any fellow Melbournians, but that's definitely not a requirement. Otherwise I'm a pretty tidy, easygoing person, and a non-smoker.
One bedroom with private balcony and built-in wardrobe available in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment is next to Lyons shops (IGA and Stand by me cafe) and close to woden and curtin shops too. Living area and kitchen are all furnished and move in ready. Close to public transport and beautiful walks behind the apartment block and up to Oakely Hill. House is LGBT friendly.
I'm clean and tidy person of commom areas. I don't like having mess around. Have OCD about cleaning and vacuuming. I have my pet puppy who is a maltease x shitzu. Hypo allergic so no one can have a reaction to her fur. Her name is melody. I have my own car and bike for transport. I don't drink alcohol as i don't like the taste. My hobbies and interest are typical nerdy stuff such as games, warhammer and anything music related. Always down for a chat about any topic if anyone has problems etc more than happy to hear about it :)
Hey! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane for work as a consultant. I'm an always doing something kinda guy, so I really dig going out to the mountains or parks, checking out the city I live in and am really sociable. I don't smoke and I'm not the kind of person to get smashed on drinks every night of the week. I more just chill drink with mates every now and then. I'm a really clean-oriented person so I'd like housemates that are happy to help keep the common areas neat.
I am a health professional currently looking for a property and a suitable housemate to share within close proximity to the Canberra Hopital. I am quiet, clean, friendly and hope to share with someone who is similar. I spend most of my time at work or at the gym and enjoying the simple things in life. Ideally looking for a place to live I can call home and feel safe and secure.
I am a positive person, clean, polite and respectful. I will be working full time as a researcher at Canberra hospital from end of September. I like to be outdoors (yes, even in the cold!), I like to cook, enjoy an occasional glass (or three) of wine, and get a bit crafty in my spare time (mostly knitting/sewing). I was born and raised in Canberra, though escaped to QLD for a few years! I am heading back for a great work opportunity and because my partner of 8 years is living and studying at ANU. I will likely visit him regularly, and not be at home every night.

I’m an honest, reliable, clean and tidy professional. Pretty relaxed but do prefer a clean home and to share with others who like the common shared spaces to be kept tidy. I’m friendly and quite happy to share a meal or a glass of wine and have a chat on occasion but I do like my own space. I’ve shared with 2 girls in their early 20s the past 2 years; it’s been fun to hang out and it’s worked because we respect each other’s privacy and individuality. I am open to sharing with people of any age if they are mature, respectful, trust-worthy, self-aware with a positive, can do, friendly attitude. Art, hiking, cycling, Pilates, Netflix, great food, coffee and wine, board games, authenticity and honesty are all up there as things I enjoy and value. Despite this site requiring preferred suburbs to be listed I’m open to considering anywhere in ACT. ** I’m flexible with length of time to house share - between 3-7 months starting mid October (I’ll be housesitting from May 2019)

Rent inclusive of all expenses: unlimited nbn wifi, keyless entry to external doors and internal rooms including bedrooms so no keys to loose, Scandi panel heater with timer in your room so you can control a temperature comfortable for you. ie you can set the timer for it to come on before you have to get up and before you get home from work for your own comfort. Garden is maintained, cleaner comes in once a fortnight. Garage space for two cars (negotiable), as well as storage options for kayaks and bicycles (also negotiable). Other off-street parking spaces available for up to four cars. Just off Melrose Drive near Yamba Drive roundabout, short walk to Woden Plaza, Canberra Hospital and National Capital Hospital 2.5km, very close to main bus route, stroll to local Lyons shops with an IGA and great coffee at Stand By Me. Oakey Hill Nature Reserve just a 2min walk, and a network of over 3000km of cycle pathways at your doorstep. Available from 6th October. Preference for longer term occupants. Credentials will need to be verified as part of the application process.
I'm a current honours student at ANU studying Psychology and working part time in functions. I'm open to pretty much any housing situation. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the gym and the odd video game.
20yr old apprentice electrician. Quiet through the week, enjoy going to the gym or just relaxing after work. Enjoy spending weekends with friends mostly or travelling home to see family on the odd occasion.
House is spacious, fully furnished and centrally heated. It is close to Woden Plaza and bus interchange. Guests enjoy hanging out together sharing a roast dinner on the weekend or a pizza mid-week. We are willing to help each other and co-operate in keeping the common areas tidy. There's privacy in single bedrooms, but if guests want to watch a movie they can do so in the communal lounge where a library of books and board games has also been provided.
I am moving to CanberraMid-October to start a new position in the public service. I am friendly, tidy and love a good chat over a glass of wine at the end of the day. I am currently studying externally, so will often be required to lock myself in my room and study.
I'm a 23-year-old Filipina. I'm currently working as a part-time RN (Registered Nurse). I will be looking for another health facility to do casual or part-time job once I found accommodation. When I'm not at work, I usually stay home to do self-study. I'm passionate about my career so I always take time to develop my skills and knowledge. I have lived in other shared accommodation before so I'm very much aware of the protocols involving shared accommodation such as paying bills on time, keeping the place clean and tidy and respecting other tenants' privacy. In saying that, I'm also easy going. I love to chat/socialise at times in any way (movies, nightout, walking, window shopping or even sharing when going through tough times). Being clean and tidy, especially in the kitchen are a big deal to me. In the rest of house, I'm not too OCD. Please feel free to message me if you think I'm suitable to be your housemate.

Hey hey, Looking for a short term stay preferably 6 months. I’m a full teacher. I usually get home by 6 or 7 most days, yes I’m a hard working teacher. I do have a bit of furniture so if you have room for a bit more, that would be awesome. I know the dos and donts of living with other people. Awesome to socialise with (that’s what my friends say). And of course I know how to give space as well and would like mine from time to time.
Im a quiet and polite person who generally keeps to themselves but is always happy to have a chat. I work nights so you never need to worry about me waking you up early. Love a good video game or a casual drink with good people.
I’m a full-time student, with a job in Cooleman Court and in uni. So I’ll be out most of the time. I always make sure the common areas are clean and tidy after I use them. I’m also someone who loves my headsets, so you won’t have to worry bout loud music.
I work full time and live with my nearly 18 student son and two spoiled cats. I'm a great cook and he's a big anime buff. Pretty quiet peeps, don't party or smoke. Would love to find a cool, LGBT+ household to join, or another single parent to make a new share house.
Friendly couple studying full time at UC. We are both pretty reserved and focused on studying and getting good grades. Enjoy travelling, reading, movies, music. Relatively new to Canberra and interested in meeting new people and making some friends :)
Hey Im a student of ANU currently doing Economics. I will be staying in Canberra and have a part time job At Woden city center. Im trying to find a quiet and private place that is near to the center an ANU. I am really easy going, and I like to mingle around with people.
I can either be really outgoing and open or very closed and quiet, I’m quite a diverse person who is a workaholic, I like mild gaming and watching movies and tv shows, but also like to have a good time when it comes to drinking etc.
Hi! Firstly, I'm sorry for the terrible photo - apparently, I don't have any pictures of myself after 2015. I don't have any social media either (excluding an Instagram that I never use), so I'm a bit useless in that respect but please let me know if you would like more information from me! I'm a pretty quiet person - I like to keep busy and have a nice space to relax in, but I'm also friendly and easy to approach. I work full-time as a paralegal in Manuka and I am working towards my admission as a lawyer next year. I have a busy schedule so I appreciate the importance of respecting everyone's space and keeping the house harmonious. I enjoy cleaning (I know, I know - but it's true!) so I'm handy for keeping a space tidy. I love movies and dogs and enjoy going for walks. And I love sleep! I have some house plants that I love dearly and two bits of furniture (my bed and a small desk) but not much else. I'm looking to make a quick move as my current lease is up, so I'm pretty flexible on the descriptors in my listing (including my rent limit). Please feel free to contact me irrespective of what I have listed if you think I might be a good fit for your place!
Just moved to Canberra from Canada, on my own and looking for a place to call home :) I'm friendly, chill and easy going and respectful. I am working currently and i play video games on my free time or watch Netflix. I can cook fairly well and am a clean and tidy person, hoping to find others that are fun and friendly. Looking to move ASAP, i am on my own here and don't know very many people any help is appreciated. Cheers, Pirri.
I'm Luke Martin, I'll be moving back to canberra to study information technology at CIT in 2019. Currently I am employed at a part-time bartender/gaming attendant at the southern cross club in woden.(I start on 1st Oct) Keen gym goer Really enjoy the outdoors (hiking, bicycle riding etc) Non smoker But enjoy a nice beer with good company on the occasion.
Hey guys (and girls). I'm a 26 year old male currently working in the public service. I have been living in sharehouses from the age of 19, so I'm well accustomed to living with others, paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself - I also have no issue with cleaning a bathroom or mowing the lawn on a 40 degree day! I'm well beyond my days as a partier but still enjoy a social beer or a bbq with housemates. I'm pretty quiet during the week and out and about or riding my motorcycle on weekends. As I own a bike storage or garage space would be great! Look forward to hearing from you!
