Moving to Canberra to start full-time work as part of the APS. Avid reader, and digital and film photographer. I'm looking for a share house that's both relaxed and sociable. Always happy to chat, but appreciate the value of alone time as well. I am quite tidy and clean up after myself, but also desperately learning how to cook: any help would be appreciated!
I have just relocated from Darwin to Canberra for work in the public service. I am hoping to move into a place as soon as possible. I am a tidy and friendly person, always happy to have a chat and looking forward to living in Canberra.
I am a full time student at ANU in my third year of study and also work part time in Braddon. I'm often quite busy but during my free time I like to cook and walk/ride around the city. Looking for a quiet, neat and tidy place, but not averse to conversation.
A Graduate at a Government Agency who is originally from Sydney. I am a quiet, clean and considerate individual. My colleague and I are looking for a suitable property to rent. Please message me if you have a room or 2 available (if it is just one room, it will be only me residing).
I’m just a quiet introvert looking to start my life, most of time is spent either at work or out catching up with friends. I work as a carpentry apprentice so I’ll be able to fix your door. I’m looking to live with someone who isn’t too loud but can still have fun when the time comes. I love to cook and can make a lasagne, wrapped in bacon.... I will be supplying my own furniture for a bedroom and possible household furnishings if need be. I shall be moving from Conder, and need to be out by 1/3/19
Hi! I've just moved to Canberra for my first full-time job - Intern in Canberra and Calvary hospitals. I've only been to Canberra once and am not too familiar with which suburb to live in - wouldn't mind driving 10-20mins to work. I've lived in university on-campus accommodation and shared house with ensuite bathroom in the past. I am hoping to find a quiet, clean and tidy place with respectful housemates (preferably females). I would be keen for occasional housemate(s) gathering, if I'm not too tired from work. I enjoy exploring new places, going to cafes, and exercising (but sometimes I do get lazy). Looking for places which are flexible with length of stay - I'd definitely prefer not to move around too often, but wanna make sure I really like the place before committing long term. Thanks
I am a quiet and courteous guy from regional Western Australia (Bunbury) moving to Canberra in late Jan to start as a graduate in the Department of Education and Training. I love exploring by walking/hiking, plus I am learning to cook and would be open to sharing meals and having conversations with my flatmates. Most importantly, I am clean and smoke/drug free and would need my roommates to be the same. Otherwise, I am friendly and open for chats and the occasional gathering of friends. I’m happy to team up with others in a similar situation to look for a place to live (near the Centre), or move into a pre-existing rental agreement/share house. I can start paying rent and the bond immediately. I’ll be arriving in Canberra on 25 Jan but am happy to inspect a place/collaborate via videochat before then :)
About to start full time work, looking for a place to call my own where I can have my own separate space. Love to read, paint and do yoga :)
hello, my name is Duyen. I am originally from Vietnam. I have been living in Australia for almost 5 years already. I am hoping to find a place close to work. I am a very friendly and easy-going person. I'm respectful and organised so hoping to find people who are looking for the same thing.
House-trained final year medical student (this means: busy most days (at least) 9-5, studying most nights, keen to have company over meals when that works out). Financially secure (I have a scholarship and work part time). I've lived all over Australia, enjoy meeting people, cooking, conversation, the odd glass of wine. Looking for quiet household where I can study and relax. I like outdoorsy things (hiking, cycling, water sports) when time permits. Happy to live with those who value privacy and prefer to do their own thing but equally flexible and enjoy social interaction with housemates during downtime.
I'm moving to Canberra for work in the public sector in February and looking for one or two people to share accommodation with:). I'm a clean and tidy person, like to cook and go to the gym. I like to socialise but happy to keep to myself as well:) I haven't learnt to drive yet, so I'm looking to rent a place within reasonable walking distance to the Woden shops.
Spacious house with garage for you to keep your barang barang. Space for 3 cars to park nicely in front of the house. A small back yard for burying things if you need. Spare room that we put stuff in, like gym equipment. 1 bathroom with shower and another toilet. Washing machine + Dryer + kitchenware we share.
I'm down to earth and like to learn from the people around me. I need a bit of solitude from time to time, but also make an effort to be a supportive housemate. The outdoors, exercise, and conversations over coffee are some of the things that I enjoy most. I'm a small business owner looking to knuckle down for the year ahead. I'm looking to either team up with one or two others to find a house to rent, or move into an existing share house. If you think we'd get along as housemates, please get in touch.
Hello Everyone!!!!, I hope you are doing well!!! My name is Rachit, I am originally from India but currently based in Melbourne and I will be coming to Canberra next month to start my gig with DHS. My budget is up to a generous $250 pw which includes all the bills. Something about myself, I am into IT Consulting and I work full-time, I am easy to go along, responsible, neat and clean individual. I like to play cricket and I am an avid sports fan. I love to watch soccer, formula 1 and catch-up with Netflix during my spare time after work. I am easy to go along with and a very good listener with whom you can chat with over a cup of coffee or drinks. I am looking for a long-term horizon with at least 6 months of stay. I’ve just finished my Bachelor of Nursing degree at University and have secured a full-time position at The Canberra Hospital. Ideally, I’m looking for somewhere quite close to Woden for this reason. I am due to start in April so would be wanting to move in around mid March. I’ve lived at home during the time I’ve been at University so this will be the first time I have lived out of home. I don’t smoke, and am clean and tidy. I have respect for other people as well as other people’s things. ☺️
Hey! I'm 23, and work full time for a consulting firm. I'm friendly and easy going, love to have a chat, but also respect others need for space, and expect the same in return. In me, you will find a very kind flat mate who doesn't mind sharing all the good food that I can cook ;) I actually enjoy cleaning so you won't to worry about mess with me! I don't drink or smoke. I am not a "party" person so do not worry about noise with me in the house.
Hello, I am moving to Canberra In the beginning of February, would be able to schedule an inspection for then. I am only looking to share with female roomates. I am originally from Brisbane, I will be working as a Policy Program Officer with the Department of Human Services. I am clean, don't do parties, or the type to bring a bunch of friends over. I will however have my partner visit me once a month on a weekend, I do not wish for him having to find alternative arrangements for an accommodation for every time he stays the night in Canberra when he could just share the room that I am renting. I do not own any pets. I don't mind sharing with people who own pets, or bring people over (just give me notice even if it is just a few min before) as long as my roommates are clean and respectful there will be no issues. I read books for fun and go out and hike or socialise with friends.
I am working as an APS at the Department of Finance. I love nature, watching artistic films and want to get back into reading. I am looking for walking distance to Forrest or a maximum of 45 minute public transport commute to Forrest. I am very flexible and do not require a personal bathroom.
Hi, I work as a Finance / Business Manager in the NFP sector in Canberra. I am a friendly, easy going, mature age person who likes to cook, share a laugh and the odd wine. I am a responsible person who respects other people and their belongings. I like to keep houses organised, neat and well maintained. I have good handyman skills, pool maintenace skills, and gardening skills. I have a friendly personality and am a keen sports person. Please call/email me to discuss your accomodation rental requirements and I can tell you more about myself.
Quiet, active, tidy, self-sufficient professional female looking for like-minded flatmates. I'm a full time postgraduate student looking for employment as well. I currently live in Wollongong NSW so I'd be happy to rent a furnished room without seeing it.
I am a 26 year with a full time job, who loves to socialize and make new friends. I also love trekking, reading and occasionally binge watching on netflix. I am also very neat and tidy and I am looking forward to moving to Canberra from Brisbane and exploring as much of Canberra as I can.
I enjoy a chat and some banter but I also like to simply chill/relax on my own. Cooking is something I enjoy when I have time. I also like getting outdoors to do things like bushing walking and socialising. Wholistic health is an interest of mine too. Furthermore, I am easy to get along with and enjoy a good laugh. I am not from Canberra but I have been here a few years. I work in a busy caring field/environment 4-5 days per week in a permanent part-time role, and am planning to resume study in 2019 in addition to this.
